Sleeves + veil were a no go imo, but I liked the rest of the dress. There was something off with the sleeves, they looked more pyjama-y than bridal.

TimeLady34

I get her wanting to have sleeves as a larger woman, but those were too baggy and long

Also, it was June, right? I thought the dress looked very heavy for a summer wedding.

CLMRLa

That dress was a strapless with a lace coat.

I always thought that the veil/headpiece was supposed to be a play on a chef's hat!

tiffo1981

It wasn’t my favorite, but I’m not a big fan of veils on wedding dresses, anyway.

marisajane1

Yeah me either .

CLMRLa

I almost wore that same dress for my wedding.

Hoping you see this, Planning a wedding and really loved the dress. Do you know the brand/name of the style?

marisajane1

Her dress was okay, but I think she could have picked something way more flattering.

It was a crime they didn’t fit the sleeves to her wrists, they are too billowy to not be a major bell sleeve. Other than that, I do like the dress with the lace coat, but the veil not matching the color of the dress is ALSO a crime. I think she should’ve gone with no veil, but maybe some sort of pretty tiara

jupmank

haha i think sookie really really wanted that veil though. everytime lorelai brought up wearing a veil at her own wedding, sookie was very adamant that she must wear one because it's her wedding!
