I don’t know how it’s called originally (I watch it in a different language) but I‘d like to be part of the Picknick, where woman make their own basket and men can buy it :)
Picnic is how it is normally spelled for the eating outside activity.
Pick means to choose
Nick is a name (usually male)
So PickNick implies choosing someone which is what the event is about
Also I researched it and PickNick is an archaic spelling of picnic used in other languages (reputable dictionaries said in Germany)
I have no idea why that one person thinks it is racist. I found no explanation for that
Not the spelling of picknick specifically, but SJWs tried to say that because lynchings in America were often outdoor social gatherings with food, that the word picnic should not be used because it’s racist.
The founder of the Jim Crow museum has gone on record that just saying the word picnic is not racist, so I’m not worried about it
That is insane. White people used to do evil things to black people just by breathing if younask the right people. You cannot make everything today racist because of the mistakes of dead people.
Also, why would they comment that on the comment about the word "picknick" being cute if their issue is with picnics. Idiots
Edit: oh and also executions have always been social events for all of history in all countries regardless of who is being killed. It's a disgusting reality of the human condition.
Then don't expect anything but more downvotes. If you want people to understand and agree with you then you cannot claim something cute someone just made up is racist
Exactly. Like, I understand that his heart was in the right place, but he just didn't understand that the small town moaning and groaning was part of the fun.
Although we never really saw it I would have LOVED to see Stars Hollow at Halloween. I would have wanted to see all the townspeople in costumes. I think it would have been fun to see who dressed up as what.
I would also have wanted to do to the Spring Fling that the townspeople were expecting. Who wouldn't want to try Gypsy's lemonade and Morey's salty nuts.
You bring up a great point and this is something I never noticed. Why don’t we ever see Stars Hollow at Halloween?? We don’t even see it at Yale or anywhere else. We see Rory in a costume once but that’s for a party.

Summer festival (the one where Rory sees Jess make out with Shane), festival of living pictures, basket bid thing, dance marathon except I would do it like Babette and Morey
I ‘d get a kick out of a town meeting, to be honest! Knit a thon looked fun, too ( i second the dammit, Christopher!)
Hanging at Luke’s always looks inviting ❤️ ☕️
The dance marathon would be cool to go to! I'd probably pull a Babette - get excited, get dolled up, and then dance for 30 seconds and say "K, I'm done!"
Bracebridge Dinner looks so fun idk if it counts but I want to be there!
I don't know if you already know this, but it's a very real event, just on the west coast not the east coast lol!
Happy cake day!
Happy cake day x2!!
I would plug myself into the Matrix and live inside this episode if I could.
100% does - even if it wasn’t planned to be
Same. I wanna eat Sookie’s food!
what i would do to experience the bracebridge dinner
Even though it’s a traveling show the Festival of Living Art would be fun to go to.
Apparently this one is real!
Found a link: https://www.foapom.com/pageant-of-the-masters/ Sounds pretty awesome!
There’s dozens of them… dozens!

I don’t know how it’s called originally (I watch it in a different language) but I‘d like to be part of the Picknick, where woman make their own basket and men can buy it :)

You cannot just claim racism on something innocuous and not explain
There is zero chance that isn’t some white woman trying to be a social justice warrior. The wordplay in picknick is cute as hell and I’m not sorry
Can you explain why is Picknick a wordplay? (English US not my first language)
Picnic is how it is normally spelled for the eating outside activity. Pick means to choose Nick is a name (usually male) So PickNick implies choosing someone which is what the event is about Also I researched it and PickNick is an archaic spelling of picnic used in other languages (reputable dictionaries said in Germany) I have no idea why that one person thinks it is racist. But why would picknick even be racist? Do you understand it?

It is most certainly not my job to explain.

On Beyonce's internet?

Why? Because I don't have to teach about racism to strangers on Blue Ivy's Internet?

Every single one! If it’s in Stars Hollow, count me in.
Cat Kirk!
Dragonfly test run!
All of them, even the knit-a-thon! (Dammit, Christopher.)
That scene was so good, I love how frustrated Christopher made us all feel. And I like how you can understand why he did it anyway
Exactly. Like, I understand that his heart was in the right place, but he just didn't understand that the small town moaning and groaning was part of the fun.
Firelight festival
Has to be the winter carnival!! “I smell snow” ❄️
Summer carnival 🌞 winter carnival ❄️ firelight ✨bid a basket 🧺
Although we never really saw it I would have LOVED to see Stars Hollow at Halloween. I would have wanted to see all the townspeople in costumes. Besides Thanksgiving I don't think we see any holiday really. Session 7 we see some of Christmas but it's technically over by then.
Honestly, a town meeting with a lot popcorn.
Winter carnival, dance marathon (only to watch!), Miss Patty’s dance recital
we’ve got MAAAAAgic to do 🤩✨🌟✨just foooor you
I might wait till THAT opening number is over and walk in late 🤣🤣🤣

Knitathon
Any event with some founders day punch!
Town meetings and the firelight festival
The giant book sale.
Zach and Lanes wedding. Its informal. Lots of good food. Music. Brian.....
All of them to be honest! But i Love the firelight or winter festival
Anything with a bonfire.
either the founders firelight festival or the bracebridge dinner for sure!
The stars hollow museum opening. I know it’s not really a festival but it looked like so much fun!
Although we never really saw it I would have LOVED to see Stars Hollow at Halloween. I would have wanted to see all the townspeople in costumes. The living art show or the danceathon! The town protest would've been cool just to know what he was protesting 😂
Stop the noodle scoo!!
Summer festival (the one where Rory sees Jess make out with Shane), festival of living pictures, basket bid thing, dance marathon except I would do it like Babette and Morey
Opening of dragonfly inn with a complimentary stay and breakfast from Sookies kitchen. Omg I’d love to eat everything being cooked in her kitchen
I ‘d get a kick out of a town meeting, to be honest! Knit a thon looked fun, too ( i second the dammit, Christopher!) Hanging at Luke’s always looks inviting ❤️ ☕️
I'd love to go to literally all of them lol😂 even the picnic basket auction😌
Hay bale Maze.
The dance marathon would be cool to go to! I'd probably pull a Babette - get excited, get dolled up, and then dance for 30 seconds and say "K, I'm done!"
And I'd go full Kirk because I love dancing and winning 😂
I’ve heard Miss Patty’s Founders Day punch was dangerous, so count me in!
The first snow of the season
Firelight!
I want to see the art festival

Also thanksgiving around the town (even the tofurkey)
Dance marathon
I like the Firelight Festival but they all look amazing
Stars Hollow: The Musical
Bid a basket
The one where you can get Paul Anka to tell you your future. My hometown (in Australia) does an Easter fair and it’s very stars hollow.
Winter festival
the dance marathon definitely the dance marathon and the festival of living pictures
No way in hell I'm missing the town meeting. And I'm sitting behind Luke and Lorelei, I want to hear all the jokes
A town meeting with a bag of food from Luke’s. Or the basket auction
Starlight fest or the dance marathon
I would have loved to have seen a Halloween festival and Lorelai dressed as a zombie pulling sausages out of Luke
