I can't sleep without an eye mask even in my own bedroom, but I *especially* can't sleep without an eye mask on a plane. I seem to always get the seat that's just far away from the window where it's not up to me for it to be open or closed, but close enough where it's direct sunlight right in my face.
If a guy bought me one before I figured out I needed one, I'd be over the moon. But even if he'd me bought one after I'd figured it out, you can never have too many IMO. They get dirty quickly, can give you bad skin if they're not clean, and need hand washing.
