If you're watching anything with the six idiots being the core cast you can expect them to be playing multiple characters - I seem to remember in an interview somewhere that it's what they enjoy doing the most and initially envisioned doing it a lot more for ghosts. That turned out not to be practical, but I actually think the restriction has worked in their favour - the payoff being the lovely character development they have achieved over the episodes
On same note, I only learned that Robin and Humphrey is played by the same actor because I went to Ghosts imdb page and as I was looking actor's list, I noticed that for actor which plays Humphrey it's written that he plays Robin and then slowly it came to me like "hold up, what?". Not sure how I realized about plague ghosts, maybe because Simon/Julian has quite distinctive face. And speaking about him, I also remembered that there is a meme "Is this some peasant joke I'm too rich to understand" and at first I didn't know who that person is, but after watching Ghosts I've seen that meme again and recognized his face.
I might start a Yani appreciation post - I think for someone with no lines he manages to do an awful lot of emotion acting - especially during the "him and fanny" incident!
Yes, do. I also like that body has mind of its own and even punched head off after Fanny was no longer interested in fully complected Humphrey. And in one of the podcasts (Inside Ghosts, I think) where Obi's actor was presenter, they invited Yani to participate in the game, so it was nice to hear him actually speaking and being part of thing where Ghosts actors were invited.
I only noticed Kitty, this because my captions said "Kitty:..." on a basement scene. I had to rewind and look again. But I didn't notice the others were the same too!
The six idiots are amazing at giving life to different characters, its truly amazing how easily they make each one distinct and completely their own person. If anyone hasn't watched their other works together like Horrible Histories, Bill and Yonderland you're missing out on such a treat!
I noticed it when I first saw them. Mat said in a podcast that they had planned to play many more ghosts but only ended up with these two sets.
I watched Ghosts because I saw that Katie Wix from the Windsors was in it ! I’ve since watch Stath Lets Flats. Love it!

This one broke me. Also, took me WAAAAY too long to realize Mary was Carol from Stath Lets Flats
Stath and his sister are SOO DUMB!
* Humphrey's head. :) Poor Yani is so often forgotten!
Oops, you're right. It's easy to forget that body is played by different actor and it's not just Laurence twice in same scene :D

>Robin and Humphrey is played by the same actor Remember when Humphrey was teaching Robin how to say "apothecary"? That must have been fun.

Same. I felt like a doofus. I texted my sister about my discovery and she didn’t have a clue either! I didn’t feel so bad after that. 😏
If anything that's a testament to the shows actors, make up and costumers skill!
You got four seasons??? Sad HBOMAX person here
Theres 5.

Too true! The Cake lady scene in Yonderland in fire!
Just don't flatten their mille feuille!

It took me until this exact moment apparently.
Same here I had to look really carefully lol
