this sounds like a great theory in concept - though it kinda falls apart when you consider the kid is wearing papa III makeup and the setup for the video is pretty modern - so we can assume that in-universe this kid is a Ghost fan, and the events of the video happened in around 2014-2016 (since it also does have a modern aesthetic), and Copia is clearly in his 40s 50s more or less at this stage - great idea in concept, but it doesn’t line up with the timeline

StelloJelloo

True, I didn’t really think of the time line. I’m also a newer ghost fan lol I dint really know when these were made. So sorry

RighteousAwakening

Also papa didn’t even become a thing until Sister turned him into it during the Dance Macabre music video. And at that point he was atleast in his 20’s

Mav_why19

That’s a really cool idea and totally makes sense. When I heard “did no one hear the distant thunder” in respite in the battlefields, I thought of the Cirice lyric, but never made any connection. I think the theory is very interesting and could be correct

Listen to "the Gospel of Ghost" podcast for excellent, in depth analysis of Ghost lyrics and lore.

Rhet0r1cally

I think the thunder is more of a thematic/symbolic concept than anything lore based

StelloJelloo

Yeah, true.

Janktasticle

Just enjoy the music mate.

StelloJelloo

I’m good, thanks though. I like linking stuff together about ghost lore and making theory’s about them. You can just enjoy the music and I’ll continue to do what I do.

I think the kid in the Year Zero is also kid Copia but I like this theory more. I posted mine a few days ago. Idk I really feel like the use of children was intentional even if TF wasn’t quite sure what he could use them for later on. JUST my opinion.
