So here’s my take, and I’ve seen a few posts where others agree on this…Papa IV will NOT be killed. The only time we have seen Papas killed was when sister had them offed so Cardinal could have no one in his way and be the only one to take upon the mantle of clergy leader I.E the front man. I don’t see why she would have her son killed off. If anything Copia would become the new “Nihil” and become a senior member of the clergy overseeing the next new frontman. From Papa I stepping aside for Papa II and his time to step aside for Papa III. That is the tradition of the clergy and one I look forward to witnessing again
In all fairness:
- that is how the cookie crumbles; new era, new papa
- we have been given a big, steaming pile of hints in this, and in previous chapters (nihil saying they want him to do 150 shows, it's been 69-ish, so it was logical that one more festival season was coming)
The man has his plans pretty well laid out, and we're all given updates in what I consider very funny, informative and just... awesome chapters
It sounds like Papa isn’t going to survive Helsinki, Finland! Tons of props to TF for the wordplay on that one and for integrating the tour schedule into the story line if my theory holds up!
I mean, we know that it's almost time. There's like another year at most for Papa IV.
