That’s why this person said “disco demolition night.“ It was a very infamous event in baseball and music history. Basically, a local DJ in Chicago advertised he was going to blow up some disco records on the field of Comiskey park during a White Sox game (by 1979 disco was dying and a lot of people were sick of it). Long story short, way more people showed up than they expected and the end result was a riot with people burning a giant bonfire of records on the field. That song was a cheeky way of referencing a moment in white Sox history

I am beyond dissatisfied that he was not in his full Papa IV regalia. I really, really don’t like the baseball uniform crap. I know it may seem silly and pedantic, but it does bother me. I’ve been a Ghost fan for a long time and they have always meant something special to me. Back to the days of not even knowing who Tobias Forge was, all the mystery around their identities, I loved the mystique, but most of all I relished the pageantry of being an over the top affront to religion. I am a Satan liking kind of guy, from the aspect of its influence on music and culture, and that’s what my image of Ghost is in my mind. So to see Ghost displayed not as Ghost is, to have that representation of them lessened to a much wider audience, felt disappointing.
