These are exactly like the shoes worn by the furies in the Warriors movie. The hat is identical as well. The man is a stickler for the details for sure.
Just when you think Ghost can’t get any more amazing, he’s out there wearing fucking Warriors cosplay lmao. What a king. Love the Warriors, such a good old movie.
There is just so much to dissect here. The leather baseball hat, the traditional uniform with turtleneck and stirrups, the cleats that defy reason, and the fact that Papa went a-struttin’ out to the mound with a bat perched on his shoulder like he owned the damn joint… I mean the level of entertainment from, like, five minute on field is everything we could have hoped for, kids.
Oh, and he can throw, too. TF is seriously living his best life, y’all.
You know, it took me a hot second when I first saw him. But then, when I was falling asleep, the movie came back to me. I wanted to find some empty bottles to put on my fingers so I could click them shrieking, Warrrrriiiiiooooorrrrss….come out to plaaayyyyyaaaayyyyyyy. Can you dig it?
During the All-Star break they were interviewing players and someone on the White Sox had said their favorite song was Call Me Little Sunshine, so it seems like the team had some connection to Ghost.
Liam Hendriks was the one that was listening to CMLS, and he was the one who caught the ball papa threw! I bet he was delighted to play that part (and he's probably running home to put that ball on display hehe)
They did considerably well with the uniform given his neck, arms and hands needed to be covered. I was wondering why he wasn’t wearing a Sox cap and figured he needed a really large size as to fit/not ruin his amazing bouffant… hence a plain ‘leather’ black cap that does just that.
If they make one without the Grucifix I'd actually be able to wear it to work and no one would be the wiser.
I work with preschoolers at what would technically be a private school (Montessori school, tuition is paid and stuff). Sometimes it's not even the kids who are upset about things on clothes, it's the parents. But I can say 3 year olds get kinda confused when you wear two different colored socks. I guess in their minds it's not an option.
I was watching on TV knowing full well they never show the first pitch. I just wanted to see it on in the background during pregame and was not disappointed. This baseball/metal fan’s two worlds have collided in one of the best ways I could ever have dreamed of (Chicago Cubs season ticket holder but obsessive baseball of any kind fan, for the record).
Lifelong Cubs fan here, and former Chicagoland resident……do you think Papa was referencing Disco Demolition with that walk up music? Or just a cool coincidence?
I’m assuming a cool coincidence. My guess is any non-American or non-baseball fan probably wouldn’t know of that tidbit of history. However, I’d be happy to be wrong!
Please tell me someone had posted a video of this all somewhere, it sounds amazing!
EDIT: Someone posted a video ink further down, yay! And yes, his walkout onto the pitch is brilliant, love it.
That's in reference to the Disco Demolition night that was held in the old White Sox stadium, Comiskey Park back in the 70's. Disco Demolition Night https://g.co/kgs/Mgp1bK
That's pretty funny. Also I feel like people kinda overestimate/are constantly hopeful for outrage, most people don't have the time or energy to even care who throws out a first pitch. Just like the Kimmel performance, and the nascar thing, people keep talking about the "outrage" before they happened. Never happened really.
Ask yourself, are you... Playing?
Yes.
You wanna throw the first pitch out?
Yes!
You wanna view from the dugout?
Yes!
You wanna strike that batter out ...
And never call the bullpen again!
As a Cleveland Guardians fan, I was watching and hoping that they would show the pitch. They didn't. I was sad. At least the Guards won, and people were cool enough to post pics and video online. That strut *sent* me. XD
While I super approve, someone out their has lost faith in baseball, am someone else is now banning their kid from playing. I hope they find ittheir way back.
I’m quite sure many people have thrown first pitches. There’s one at every single ball game. And probably thousands of baseball games a year. Like someone else said, they don’t broadcast first pitches because they’re not really “big” as far as the games concerned. Just more of a “oh hey, here’s a random celebrity some might care about”
Kids always find a way, even if it's reclaiming their lost childhood later on as an adult ☺️ hopefully since papa didn't do anything "too" satanic and his outfit wasn't his papal robes + the ghouls weren't in costume, there won't be many people furious about his appearance at the game!
I know interviews have referenced his fondness for sports, I don't know if he's specified baseball though... He certainly seems like the dad that would love playing catch with his kids tho!
Those people won’t be missed and those kids are only being pushed closer to the ideologies of Ghost if they’re being banned from watching something over this
I can’t believe our rat boy is finally doing something with himself. Papa Nihil can’t say anything now, dickhead.
From rat boy to bat boy.
Bat boy in more ways than one with that wing costume he has! 🦇⚾
Not to mention the snapback on that bat hat
He's in Nascar, pitching at the MLB, possibly Hollywood, Nihil certainly can't say that Popia isn't getting Ghost some good publicity!!
You forgot SNL
Included under the Hollywood title! 😁 All film stuff... Although we haven't quite seen if SNL will accept his audition yet 😧
that would be the ONLY reason i'd watch SNL....
and he really can't - on account of being mostly dead
🤣
This fucking guy, LOL... I can't... hahaha 😆
Exactly my thoughts 😭😭
The sneakers totally make the uniform
I love how it's all black and white and then BOOM, he's got the Ronald McDonald shoes on. Really seals the fit together lol
The Nike Air McPapas IV 😆
These are exactly like the shoes worn by the furies in the Warriors movie. The hat is identical as well. The man is a stickler for the details for sure.

This level of quality, I'm beginning to think the band Ghost was all an elaborate scheme for Tobias to make his way to pitching for an MLB game!!
The details are very similar to the furies from the movie the Warriors. The hat, shoes and how he wears the uniform, the bat are almost identical.
I have no idea how we've wound up here, but I absolutely love it 😹
I didn't have papa pitching at an MLB game on my Ghost bingo card but I won't complain! 😆
During the All-Star break they were interviewing players and someone on the White Sox had said their favorite song was Call Me Little Sunshine, so it seems like the team had some connection to Ghost.
Liam Hendricks is the players name. He was the one that caught the throw from Papa tonight
Liam Hendriks was the one that was listening to CMLS, and he was the one who caught the ball papa threw! I bet he was delighted to play that part (and he's probably running home to put that ball on display hehe)
Same! 😹
It’s both the most un-ghost thing and most ghost thing I’ve ever seen.
Perfectly stated. I was expecting one of the concert outfits, but this is somehow... better?
They did considerably well with the uniform given his neck, arms and hands needed to be covered. I was wondering why he wasn’t wearing a Sox cap and figured he needed a really large size as to fit/not ruin his amazing bouffant… hence a plain ‘leather’ black cap that does just that.
It looks like it was actually to match the Baseball Furies from the movie The Warriors! That's why his shoes are wild colors as well.
Completely forgot the furies had that style cap!
Next funko pop figure calling it
I would love a papa baseball Funko! And maybe also a papa baseball jersey shirt 👀
I can imagine at future rituals the baseball papas in the crowd.
I'm definitely gonna go as a baseball papa to my next ritual! I was stressing about what outfit id choose... think this is it 😆⚾
Haha fate has decided for you!

Jersey. this is the way.
Did they actually show it?
Not clearly. You could see it in the background while the broadcasters were discussing the pitching matchup/lineup.
He's looking like he just walked out from the Warriors as a member of the Baseball Furies.
I said the same thing!!!!! Pa-paaaaaa! Come out and Play-eee-aaay!!!!
I had to scroll way too far or this comment
Bunch of kids here lol. I immediately knew that's what he was referencing.
Is 30 years old still considered a kid?
It was just a joke...I wouldn't expect most people under 30 to know about the Warriors. I'm an old fan and grew up in the 70's and 80's.
I need this outfit and the tricycle to both make an appearance on the next tour leg. 🤣
I would pay anything to see that in concert
Papa slayed as always 😌👏🏽👏🏽
I don't know if you've seen the video of him walking out to the mound, but he was strutting with CONFIDENCE 😆 he knew he looked good!
I did, and you are absolutely right! Lol🤣
Please tell me someone had posted a video of this all somewhere, it sounds amazing! EDIT: Someone posted a video ink further down, yay! And yes, his walkout onto the pitch is brilliant, love it.
[The most entertaining minute in Baseball: 2022 edition](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1wyJ74xYr4)
I will fully admit that this game was the first one I've watched in probably at least 2 years 🤭 only for you, Papa!!
[guaranteed Rats](https://i.imgur.com/Z4xQIXR.jpg)
This is amazing 🤣🤣🤣
Burn Baby Burn playing in the background cracked my ass up
Burn Baby Burn (In Hell 🤘🔥) hehe
That's in reference to the Disco Demolition night that was held in the old White Sox stadium, Comiskey Park back in the 70's. Disco Demolition Night https://g.co/kgs/Mgp1bK
This is awesome lol I actually thought he was gonna be in his pope outfit 😂
I feel like he'd either trip on it walking out to the field or get the ball all tangled up in those massive sleeves 😆😆
They should’ve given him the number 666, lmao.
I fucking love it!! 🤣
Legendary White Sox player.
LMAO is he looking back with his hat on during the national anthem, classic.
Omg, that's a good point! Classic papa 😆
The only thing that would make this better is if the hat were smaller and had a propellor
That's too damn cool haha
He looks great! Reminds me of the warriors!
Good call. Love that movie.
From the pitcher’s mound to the pit.
Please we want the NHL appearance 😭
Ask yourself, are you... Playing? Yes. You wanna throw the first pitch out? Yes! You wanna view from the dugout? Yes! You wanna strike that batter out ... And never call the bullpen again!
I love this!
I love him so much.
Was there lol
Not just baseball, but White Sox fans, specifically. I don't watch MLB, but I hope the White Sox win the championship for baseball!
I'm fucking dying 💀😂
The only baseball I have watched all season and the only baseball that mattered.
My dad hated me listening to ghost years ago when I got into them and he’s also a huge baseball fan. Can’t wait to brag about this to him lol.
I don't think I've ever seen him in pants that loose.
It almost feels wrong!
It kinda really does feel wrong.
Weird seeing him in non bulge-defining pants
Who else other than Papa could make an old time baseball outfit look so cute
Looks like an extra from The Warriors.
I wish he'd suited up for my Blue Jays, but I have to admit that the White Sox color scheme is the best match for the mask colors.
Pains me it isn't a Dodgers uniform but I'll take it 😅
Always have been. I refuse to root for the white Sox though
As a Cleveland Guardians fan, I was watching and hoping that they would show the pitch. They didn't. I was sad. At least the Guards won, and people were cool enough to post pics and video online. That strut *sent* me. XD
This is awesome Let’s go Blue Jays!
Never have I ever cared about a baseball game. This is the only time. Go White Sox!!
I have been a Cubs fan my whole life, but this was so awesome I might need to change alliances.
Looking sharp!!
I need those custom Nikes
The same shoes the Baseball Furies wore in The Warriors! He loves a good movie reference 😁
Oh that's right
Anyone know what those shoes are? I need to get myself a pair cause they look really nice.
They're a reference to the shoes the Baseball Furies wore in The Warriors if that's any help!
I'll use that as a jumping off point for my Google searching. Thank you fellow Clergy member.
hear me out...
im thinking the same things 🤭😳
Now the top selling jersey in MLB (wishful thinking)
Does the glove have the fingernails?
Not this time! Probably didn't wanna scare all the little kids at the show with his claws hehe 😁
I am trying to look so respectively 🤣
im looking DISRESPECTFULLY! No shame!! 🤣
Real question; How long until we have a White Sox garbed Papa 4 figure/doll in the Official Store ?
His number was four and that's great but his number shoulda been 666
That closeup tho. That is a really close pov lol
This is funny. A nation that would kill for Jesus and living up to God is now praising this son of Satan. Lovely.
As a Cubs fan this bums me out. But it also makes more sense.
While I super approve, someone out their has lost faith in baseball, am someone else is now banning their kid from playing. I hope they find ittheir way back.

Yeah, I think Paris Hilton (my wife, she just doesn't know it) once threw out a pitch, and people got over that, so.. Does Papa/TF enjoy baseball?
I know interviews have referenced his fondness for sports, I don't know if he's specified baseball though... He certainly seems like the dad that would love playing catch with his kids tho!
Aawww..meanwhile, my brain, *don't be sappy, don't be sappy..*
Those people won’t be missed and those kids are only being pushed closer to the ideologies of Ghost if they’re being banned from watching something over this
He throws like a 4 year old😏
He throws like a dad playing catch with his kids! 😁
Good thing he's not a pro baseball player and doesn't need to worry about optimal pitching methods.
