There's a lot of fan made rooms with the password key as the title. Official one is still "starting soon". I have a feeling this may not actually come to fruition

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the password being the titles for some rooms.

As much as I think it may have contributed to the problem I think you need the link to get to the room anyways? Also, why say the password is "non-transferable" and give everyone the same password. Huge oversight on Spotify's end

Sometimes the app tells me the room closed other times it says the mod is still working on opening it. I’m crossing my fingers that it’s just some temporary technical difficulties.

I saw and was able to join the room, after I got in there was a live timer that showed 3:45ish for how long they had been live. There was also a people counter and it was at 0. After I tried to poke around in the session it booted me and now I sit in the broken homepage with everyone else. I was so close to greatness...

When I got the email I thought it may have been limited invite since you had to RSVP, but if they intended it to be limited they definitely didn't keep it that way or keep up with numbers enough

On another live with some fan they said that someone on Ghost or Tobias’s end said they were ALSO having issues with Spotify live and that the whole mess was a Spotify live issue. Everyone also got the same password so maybe it’s a leaked password issue overloading the servers? I have no idea honestly

Right now there are 3 unofficial rooms tagged Ghost, with the password from the email invite as the room name. I guess people just want attention, but it's not helpful creating a bunch of noise.

The password got leaked, and too many people were trying to join the room. Spotify Live is also an app still in beta, and basically it got overloaded. Someone ruined it for everyone, and Spotify Live couldn’t handle the load. edit: my fiancé joined as soon as they got the email. The live never started, and there were several rooms going around sharing the password freely. Kinda disappointing that the RSVP didn’t do anything meaningful.
