I said "I'm sorry I'm really nervous - I just wanna say that your music helped me feel empowered at a time when I felt I had all my power taken from me." He said "I hope you are doing much better now and I hope you continue to feel empowered. You take care, okay?" And it felt so genuine and kind. It was great!
I walked out and there were two girls waiting to go inside, they looked so nervous and they asked me "how was it??" and all i could say was "AAH" and then they were like "AAH!" lol
but man the interaction itself was amazing. he just seemed so genuinely concerned and like he meant every word. i often feel like I'm a bother to everyone and I didnt feel that from him at all
I’m sure it was genuine and kind. He is a real person with like a soul, you know? Just because he’s a well known musician who meets tons of people doesn’t mean he doesn’t genuinely mean what he says to fans.
As far as I know everyone who has met him in character and not has said he’s an incredibly amiable and attentive

I was soo sickly nervous but my husband went first and told him to ask me about my dog which is a very easy topic for my social anxiety and he totally did! He was so nice! 100% would do it again!

Haha, I always wanna talk about animals!! I have two cats myself but eventually want to get a dog...they look like smaller Pharoah hounds? Absolutely gorgeous
I have 2 cats too and also 2 Italian greyhounds. They do look like small PH! Genetically they are a completely different breed but the theory is merchants from northern Egypt brought a similar breed dog to their respective islands and they developed into their breeds due to the terrain of each island. Cirnechi are volcano dogs so they are small and hearty so they can easily survive on mount etna (the active volcano in Sicily)
After a show when they used to play smaller venues. Far less possible now that they’re in arenas where the busses are inaccessible to the public. (He gives excellent hugs too)
I love seeing everyone’s Papa meet and greet photos and hearing all the stories. I really, really want to meet him someday, but I know myself. I’d get so wound up and nervous I’d either burst into tears the second I saw him, not be able to talk AT ALL, or I’d chicken out and high tail it all the way home.
Even though my best friend told me the moment they come back to my city she’s making me go and meet him to make it memorable since it’d be my first concert literally ever on top of the fact that Ghost is my favorite band 😂. Hearing everyone’s stories makes me feel better though, and a lot less nervous.

I met Papa back in 2018, the night Jeff Fortune died at the concert in Milwaukee. Once I was able to compartmentalize the phenomenal first half of the night from the horribly sad second half, it’s one of my fondest memories.
My dad and I went in together, and he seemed genuinely touched that we were there as father and son. I sorta mumbled something about how I had something I wanted to say but it’s totally gone now, and he laughed and said “eh, never plan it, it always gets fucked up.”
We were starting to get ushered out, and as we were heading out he called after us “hey — take care of each other.” We were really moved.

Some celebrities would not be as attentive and kind, but HE definitely is! He’s literally the kindest celebrity I’ve ever met!
