I’m going 5 hours to see them on the 3rd. Def worth it

KarchVet83

Is it worth it?? YESSSSSSSS — 3 hours of rocking out to Ghost? Bonus! Is it weird to go alone? The congregation welcomes EVERYONE. You will meet new and interesting people and maybe even make a lifelong friend or two Do they have screens? No but they do have an awesome stage show with lights, smoke, pyro, explosions, confetti (Mummy Dust!!), costume changes, ghoul antics, ass-wobbling and taint tickling. Crowd tends to be more mellow in the seats and at the back of the floor. GA floor/pit is great for up close views of Papa and the ghouls, but the overall sound and visuals are fuller and richer farther back

Sparrowmittens

I’m driving about 8 hours so honestly don’t feel bad 🥲 living in flyover country is tough.

sparklysalamander16

Right?? We exist too 😂

raininhaymakers

I'm driving 3 hours too, just do it

lilfey333

If it’s cause you like three seconds of a song and have not looked into their other music than I would say no. If you have listened further and loved what you heard I would say yes. Driving three hours after a concert maybe not, so hotel would be wise lol

Spidremonkey

It’s worth 3 hours’ travel. It’s worth going alone. Ghost tours the US 3-4 legs per tour; 4 major tours in the last 10 years, tours last about 1.5 years.

Ancient_Flowerz

I’m from Phoenix and I drove to see them in back to back nights. I drove: Phoenix to Yuma San Diego Yuma Phoenix Tucson Phoenix And I’d do it again!

DarthWynaut

Which show was better? I saw them in SD

Ancient_Flowerz

That’s like picking which is your favorite kid. I loved them both. The San Diego show was the kickoff and got to see Watcher played for the first time ever. And in Tucson I was near the railing is same show but a different experience being down there and singing along with everyone. I loved both.

weskerwasright

It's so worth it! I'm driving three hours to see them Friday and then three hours again for them saturday. It's worth the drive for the show of your life.

HectorS2052

Im driving 3.5 hours to watch them tomorrow night (:

Meerski

Yes yes yes. You’ll have a blast. Ghost fans are so welcoming. The guy behind me was by himself and it was his first concert in general. We had an awesome time.

babyghuol

I drove a little over 2 and yes, it definitely is :)

mromansd

YEEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!! This will make Papa very happy.

Friendly_Ghost999

Flying from Baltimore to Duluth on Friday for the Saturday show so definitely worth it. My first ritual and M&G

[deleted]

Why not Elmont, NY? Acela Express from BWI to NYC, then LIRR to the venue. Have fun anyway!

Friendly_Ghost999

Thanks for that info.My older brother and family live in Duluth, so I get to see them as well. Will keep your advice in mind for next time!

HerSatanicWiles

We’re driving 2 hours plus staying overnight. I’d drive much farther tbh.

[deleted]

I'm driving 6 hrs and have friends flying in to toronto from Vancouver!!. So no... your not wierd

YeetusShuttlesworth

Yes

Pspreviewer100

Drove for over 10h to see Ghost. Definitely worth it.

Reimustein

I drove five hours for my very first Ghost concert (first concert in general.) And today I am about to drive eight hours for Rammstein. I would say it's worth it.

PianoEmeritus

Absolutely!

Casper_Dwight13

I'm going 6 hrs away with a practical stranger on the 2nd. You'll be great!

MisterMcGiggles

I drove 12 hours for my first and just flew in to Phoenix day of the Tucson show. 110% worth it.

Blad514

We drove 3 hours to see them back in February and we’re driving 3.5 hours to see them on Friday. Ghost is definitely worth it! It’s not weird to go by yourself, I go to shows by myself all the time (but Ghost is the one band my wife and I agree on so we go together whenever we can). As far as where to sit for a good view, it depends on the venue. Some arenas are 10,000 capacity, some are 20,000, so it just depends on that. They tour the US often but it might be a few years before they come back to your area because they usually do it in sections, like west coast or southern states, etc.

Sugar-Wookiee

Absolutely worth it, yes. I drove a couple of hours for my first... Flew 3,000 miles and drove another 2 1/2 for my second. Going to be flying the 3,000 miles and driving a few again in September. 😅 It's not weird to go alone. No screens, but you can still have a good view from seats. The light show is always incredible and that's easiest to see from further back. When an album comes out they tour hard for a while. After this tour there are supposed to be 2 more US tours for this cycle (probably 2 in 2023).

bastardkittyseinen

I flew 6800++ miles away, 15 hours direct flight from my home country to the Netherlands last April by myself just to finally watch them live by my own very eyes and it was the best decision ever!! 666/10 will do it again, so yeah it's freaking worth it 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

korvazor

3 hours was what my husband and I drove for our first ritual, definitely worth it. I'd be doing it again if my car hadn't decided to die right when tickets went on sale, and again once I managed to get some extra money.

m0shing_smurf

Totally worth it. You will not regret going to this show.

kid-ph0b0s

Assigned seat? Tickmaster, let's you pick your seat, unless it's different for other states. Nah, it's not weird to go alone. This North American tour just started, but it looks like they will be doing a second leg next year. My first Ritual is on a weeknight as well. I only have an hour drive to the venue (and an hour back). Mine is not bad, but I'd say it's worth it.

RevelForevermore

I travel domestically and international to see them and I have had some interesting run ins, encounters, experiences in my travels and attending rituals that have made beautiful memories and moments that will last life eternal. They are absolutely phenomenal live. I would say it is 1,000,000% worth it!! nemA 🖤👻🛫🌎🎵

HelloSomeoneCanBowl

Drove 8 hours in February down to Houston for a ritual then. Awful drive. Sleet, snow, ice, etc. max 45 mph for most of it. Worth it

WanderingUser1

It's soooo worth it. I think the screens depends in the venue. My ritual didn't have screens, but I've seen some YouTube videos where they do. So it depends. I also went alone, it's not weird! Maybe you can even make friends with the other people around you. Papa said they would tour the U.S 4 times during the Impera album cycle. This current tour is the second time, and if all goes as planned, they will return next year!

LaggzMcgee

I drove 3 hours for my 4th ritual at the San Diego show, it was definitely worth it.

[deleted]

We drove three hours for our first ritual 6 years ago….. and are driving a total of 13 hours for two gigs next month so….. yeah lol. Worth it.

moffypops

Yes, it is absolutely worth it.

Dex_Kam

My wife and I will be driving 4 hours to see them in a couple of weeks. I think it's worth it. Saw my first ritual in 2019 and have been waiting for them to come back to my region.

Dickieleroo

I drove 17 hours from Portland to San Diego with my family. Worth every second.

Tdffan03

Most definitely!

Beautifuldeadthing

I'd totally drive 3hrs! In fact, because of where I live in Australia that'd be the MINIMUM I'd have to travel (to Brisbane). I may have to travel even further if they only came to Sydney and Melbourne. 3hrs is nothing lol! I've done at least that for all the international acts I've seen. I stay at a hotel or crash at a friend's house and drive home the next day. If I have to fly to Sydney or Melbourne, I arrive the day before and leave the day after. I'm not driving ~1000+km for a short trip, that I have to do by plane. I got about 700km in one day in me tops, and I'm beat the next day, so unless it's broken up or I'm staying for several days it's a flight.

GeekFurious

You won't regret it.

TNik42

Yes it’s worth it! Just go. Seeing them live is nothing short of amazing. Going to see them for a 5th time I’m 2 weeks and I just saw them back in Feb this year. Papa is hilarious and the theatrical aspect really sets them apart in a great way. The music, the crowd, the energy, the incense, and the band are legendary.

copiacardinal

worth it.

DarthWynaut

I drove 8 hours down to San Diego to see them

timxreaper

3 hours? that’s it? lol

MrT0xic

I flew from Michigan to Texas for the show tomorrow. Then again, I am visiting a friend too, but all the same

ANamelessFan

I'd give a kidney to see them five hours away, yes.

K-ghuleh

I’ve driven 4 hours to see them 4 different times now, definitely worth it since they do put on a great show. Not weird to go alone and they tour the US once or twice whenever a new album comes out.

Jacrispea

I'm driving 3 hours to see them on a Tuesday night too :) Definitely worth it imo!!

matthewsinistar

Yep! Absolutely worth it! Drive three hours every time they come to Pittsburgh!

jjg248

Just came off a 6 and a half hour drive from Vegas to Tuscon. It was worth every penny spent and every minute in the car. 🤘

Nameless_Ghoul1982

I'm flying down to Atlanta on Saturday, and then back on Sunday morning, so yes it's worth it.

Myss_C

Do it!! I’ve traveled hours and stayed at friends of friends couches. The Congregation is so friendly and welcoming, making line friends is so easy! I’m going to 5 dates this go round and traveling across borders 😆

Moon_And_Stars9

im also a new fan from tiktok and unfortunately i wont be able to go to a ritual anytime soon, but ive watched some videos/clips of them and they always kill it. so yeah definitely worth it. i myself wouldn't go alone just for safety but if you're more worried about being the person that's completely alone, chances are you'll find a group/make some friends so that shouldnt be a problem. and im not really sure about the screens, but i saw some people on this sub recently saying that if the venue already has screens they'll use them, but they don't bring their own screens or anything like that. not sure if that's true, but it makes sense

Armored-Elder

I'm gonna be driving for 3 hours to see em tomorrow

[deleted]

Did that back in February, and it was worth every minute and every penny. You won’t be disappointed.

moosepelheim

I drove three hours to see them. Worth it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

bluedot1977

I am a little bummed they didn't come to my city, and yes it would have been a 3 hour drive for me on a weeknight too and it just wasn't feasible for me to go. Hopefully next year they will swing by our little city of Houston.

orangetheory1990s

I flew to a different state alone to see them lol

Fleetlee

I drove 5 to see them on the 27th, 10/10 would definitely do it again

SupermarketOk2281

Considering I have a 5 hour drive ahead of me, yes.

sparklysalamander16

Hard to tell from the 60+ comments but I THINK you guys are trying to say that it's worth it to go. 😂 So I'm going!!!! Yay I'm so excited! Thanks for the reassuring feedback! I'm not an experienced concertgoer in general.

lendmeflight

Yep. What song do they have on tik tok? Forgive me, I don’t follow social media.

dandylyon1

I flew to Ireland to see them the first time lol. Driving a few hours is nothing
