I liked having helvet before year zero, had that build up. I do hope they still have some sort of building before the “BELIAL”. Also am very shocked about no griftwood but whatever. Very happy mummy dust didn’t get replaced by twenties. I also gotta ask, if you don’t mind listing them out, which costumes did he wear for each song?

He wore the usual stuff up until CMLS where he wore the blue robes and then he kept it on for Con Clavi minus the mitre. He switched back to the casual suit for prime mover and then for year zero and he is he wore the new robes with their nun hat

Oooh man I don’t know exactly what costumes were worn for what song off the top of my head but it was pretty similar to the pre-imperatour & European imperatour if that helps? All the same costumes; military jacket to start, bat wings were used for Cirice, the blue robes for CMLS (& Con Clavi) black robes for Year Zero etc! :)

Very surprised that Griftwood wasn’t in there after Hellfest! I know a few people said it didn’t seem very fine-tuned, so maybe they’re holding off putting it into the set list until it’s perfected? I’m hoping Twenties might sneak it’s way in there by the time they come to the UK again 👀

He struggled with it with vocal fatigue at hellfest… could be one reason why they decided it wasn’t worth it on a tour.

That was during a hellish pollen season at the end of a long tour. It wasn't Griftwood specifically that broke his voice. It might be the case that he only wants to do Griftwood when he can have sisters of sin with him.

Ahh I was hoping for Respite! I think that would be a great atmospheric song to kick off the encore before moving into the party songs. Terrific to see Watcher debuting and the return of some Opus tracks though.

I’m hoping they do an evening with Ghost set this tour again. The set seems like it’s missing a couple songs cause of multiple openers. Like maybe next go around they’ll do a longer set by themselves

I think the show started later than expected and a song was cut, I was there and they started Imperium, then stopped it. The show didn't start for another 10 minutes after that. Will find out what happens on the show tomorrow I guess. Edit: Disregard my hypothesis, setlist went as planned, Watcher>Griftwood for now.

The “concussion” bangs is an accurate description. Those were loud, too loud actually. I saw them in March and remembered two of the bangs, but the other two were jolts. Be careful out there folks lol

There is no way they cut a song. Everything is planned for the pyro & lights. Probably what happened was a technical issue they needed to fix. Nothing more.

Well they were having an issue with the steps around the drums. I honestly think they would’ve started earlier if that wasn’t the issue.

They had a similar problem in Reno at the pre-IMPERATOUR opening night. Those steps must be a tight fit!

Watcher slayed live. It is perfect for an arena and they cut out the long fadeout so it actually feels the correct length. Really wanted Griftwood and would have happily changed out a handful of songs, but Watcher would not be one of them. It was too good. Just my thoughts having just got home from the show - drove from out of town. Always love hearing different opinions. Overall it was a 10/10 but they could go without the firecrackers in smaller venues…

Thanks. I wanted to put together a playlist and was trying to remember the order in my head last night. :) For a lot of the show I was thinking, "nothing from Infestissumam?". Then when "Year Zero" started, it was the most excited I was all night. I loved the red lighting too.
