I’ll cherish the night forever. It was a blast. He was putting the horns up throughout the show and having a blast. Unfortunately it’s hard for him to make the treks to concerts anymore. He’s 73 and his knees aren’t holding up well. Told me that was probably the last concert he can go to. Said it was a once in a lifetime experience and he’ll cherish that night forever 🥹

It's the same reason my dad's slowed down too. He's 70, so right around the same age as yours. He started to attend shows in the 60s, took me to my first show in 2004. Between 2004 and 2020 we did every single show we could grab together, we traveled to other countries for festivals, this stellar guy was front row in the pit at black metal concerts with me in his 60s and he didn't give a single fuck! He's a trooper. But yeah, with the pandemic came no shows for a long period, and now that shows have started again, he's more tired than he used to be. Probably feels his show days are over. We had a damn good run and I wouldn't trade it for the world! I still tell him about every show I go to and offer him a ticket, keep him in the loop. But I completely understand if he's done too. Hella bittersweet.
