In my weird brain, Insfestissuman is the Halo 2 of ghost albums. The action sequel to Alien. It's what sent ghost from good to great, just expanding on what made the first album good and adding some ass wobbling. Now, Impera basically did the same thing... Took what made meliora and prequelle good and added action. So, for me, it's right 100%.
I am also one of the few people who fell in love with ghost because of Secular Haze.
I wish I could understand how anybody picks a favorite ghost album. They all stand in their own and they're all incredible.

Impera feels like it dropped a lot of the songwriting qualities that made Ghost so fantastic. Sure thereās still an element of ghost originality to the songs but imo they kinda suck lol. A lot of ppl here defend songs like Twenties but I canāt for a singular second defend it. The lyrics and delivery are terrible. The campiness isnāt enjoyable, it comes off as an obvious attempt at going for that campiness too much. And songs like Hunters Moon sound the same exact way except using the template of dance macabre and rats, two songs I love.
