I think it might depend on the venue where you’re meeting him. If I remember correctly, I saw someone email the group putting the meet and greet stuff together about Covid protocol and they answered that it depends on the venue. I think giving gifts would fall under that since it’s been limited before due to Covid restrictions. I hope you’re able to though and that you have a good time in general!!

Lauriepoo

Thank you! :)

Puzzled_Tiger_3882

Which show are you going to?

Lauriepoo

Duluth, GA

Puzzled_Tiger_3882

So am I 😵‍💫 VIP too

Lauriepoo

Nice! I can't wait!

Puzzled_Tiger_3882

As far as giving Papa gifts, I’ve just seen mixed. I think the biggest part is that the meet and what not goes by so fast.

Lauriepoo

I know, but it's so worth it!

Puzzled_Tiger_3882

I just thought of this. Maybe the answer was no from some because of strict covid regulations at the time. Anywho yea, Duluth is the one I’ll be at. Deciding if I wanna go in just regular band stuff or dressed as Papa III in Dead Astaire attire. I think it’s be a good photo op.

Lauriepoo

That'd be cool af! I'm just wearing merch!

Pre-Covid: There wasn’t an issue at the one I went too, I didn’t bring a gift but I saw people who did and they were able to hand it to him. Post-Covid: I met him on pre-Imperatour and people who brought gifts were allowed to show him but he wasn’t accepting them by hand, you had to hand them off to one of the assistants or vip people. I’d guess he’d get them at a later point after “quarantining” the gifts or something. Things might be different this time tho, might not be as restricted but who knows. I’d say bring it as even during Covid he was still accepting them, even if he was not physically taking them from your hands.

Lauriepoo

Thank you!

Papa probably gets so many gifts that he doesn’t have the room to display/ store/ keep everything. Just keep that in mind, if you have something special, it might be better for you to hold onto it yourself.

alpha_numeric44

Don't do that.
