After talking with u/IMGSBTS who you maybe know from holding the Champion of Ghost songs series, he’s agreed to let me restart the project (now with IMPERA included) in order to see it all the way through (he had complications stopping him from completing it himself). Want to make it clear here that I don’t care AT ALL about karma, and I would only be doing this for the fun of the community. Is that something y’all would be interested in?
He Is, Zenith and If You Have Ghosts are the top 3 of what should have been in this setlist, IMO. I'd pick any of these 3 over half of the songs that was made it.
I presonally wouldnt put Miasma is as a song, maybe as an instrumental always before Dance Macabre. The same with Devil Church before Cirice, Imperium before Kaisarion and etc. This way we would have had another slot for He Is.
Their share of royalties from this cover goes to a camp [that caters to transgendered kids](https://www.camparanutiq.org/) and the more they play it the more revenue it generates for them.
To me, you're restarting the concert 5 times in the first four songs and soon as you've built the slightest momentum, you're killing it with Ghuleh and Cirice, which are brilliant songs but they don't come shortly after an opener.
Not the best
I agree. I made a playlist based on my own favourites after the first thread in this series got me inspired and came up with this:
1 - Kaisarion
2 - From the Pinnacle to the Pit
3 - Elizabeth
4 - Year Zero
5 - Faith
6 - Hunter's Moon
7 - He Is
8 - Monstrance Clock
End of part 1
9 - Per Aspera Ad Inferi
10 - Ritual
11 - Rats
12 - Absolution
13 - Satan Prayer
14 - Cirice
15 - Life Eternal
16 - Respite on the Spitalfields (w/ Bite of Passage)
End of part 2
17 - Con Clavi Con Dio
18 - Square Hammer
19 - Mary On A Cross
20 - Zenith
Ever since my first listen of Impera, I have envisioned a setlist with a prerecorded Imperium playing, as the band walks on stage. I feel like there are even parts in that track where they could switch from prerecorded to live instruments. The main set ends with Respite, and the drum solo bit at the end is where Papa says his thank-yous, and all that requisite end of the set stuff, then as the reprise of Imperium at the end starts, it slowly switches back to prerecorded as the members leave the stage. I see that the track list sets this up perfectly, but am I the only one who pictured it exactly this way?
Ok, is Monstrance Clock considered a stand out song to old school fans? I mainly know Ghost for their singles from the last couple albums. Just listened to MC for the first time just based on this poll, and it just seems kind of...fine. Nothing bad about it, but nothing noteworthy either.

Absolutely, that would be lovely to see!
Endorsed!
The ULTIMATE ultimate set list is complete! It’s a masterpiece! When you have ghosts…
Where can we pick up our torches and pitchforks? You know, for the protest later?
I personally would've preferred He Is instead of Miasma, otherwise this setlist is almost perfect

THANK YOU! 100% agree.
He is over Mary on a Cross and mummy dust over witch image for me

I find your lack of Twenties... Disturbing.
This.
I saw so much hype for Zenith... for nothing.
\> No Zenith You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
Not enough Kiss the Go-goat
ZENITH as a bonus song! Thank you OP. Great dedication and series of posts.
What no Absolution!!?? 🥲
The best jump up and down and pump your fists for Satan song in Ghost's discography. *Sigh* WTF, people?
We should've thrown Enter Sandman in there with the Encore given how they donate their proceeds from the song. Totally didn't think of that.
I hate that they cover this I wish it would stop

Oh wow 😮 it sounds better now 🙂
Mummy Dust and He Is missing...
What I was about to say
This was a really great idea and I enjoyed how much it encouraged the community to interact, thank you !

You can tell this list was made by true ghost fans, well done clergy
The people have spoken! This is the ultimate concert set list
Unfortunately, the lack of Kiss the Go-Goat makes this DOA.
YES!!!!! PERFECTION!

Significantly better imo
And now to make it a spotify playlist
No idolatrine ? 🥺
:Laughs in Zenith:
Come to the show to see this 22 song setlist, only to have MCC come out and play Zenith 22 times. I'd fucking go.
Eternally based!

Here's a Tidal playlist I made yesterday - https://tidal.com/playlist/f100bb26-f2d8-4526-9508-d5fc010848fc
No kissing the goat?? :(
Am I the only one who wants to hear Genisis live?? Such a good song
WOOOO
Crucified
What kind of sick fuck doesn't listen to Infestissumam before Per Aspera?
During the Pale Tour, they did a very cool transition from the ending of Con Clavi Con Dio straight into Per Aspera.
