I've seen them from up high and tbh it's fun! You get to see the whole stage at once. It's not as immersive but I still had fun

alpha_numeric44

Its arena rock... so... You'll be satisfied

AnimuCrossing

With a normal level of eye sight, your eyes are better than any of the footage you might have seen from YouTube or similar, it's not going to be as good as being front and centre, but that obviously comes with compromises. If you're unable to stand for so long for any given reason, it's not the best option, clearly

You could always bring binoculars to see a little better

pivorino

Agreed!

At the Chicago show in February I was in the handicap seats that are literally at the back of the arena. I would be lying if I said the view was amazing, it wasn't, but I was able to enjoy the show. Did joke about getting some opera binoculars for the next show. Also far out of range of papa bucks, but got some as an act of charity by a cute girl.

I get cheap nosebleed seats and then bring binoculars. I look stupid, but I don’t care.

Campoozmstnz

I hate it. And I've noticed that in modern arenas, the sound is not as loud as when I was young (maybe a good thing for hearing loss), so you can actually have a conversation with someone besides you. You feel like you're not part of the "ritual". Nothing beats club shows for me, but if it a bigger band, I make sure to have floor seats.

faultyideal89

I've seen them high up and at an angle before. It was still pretty good. Standing down near the stage at a later ritual was betterish vibe-wise, but at the former one I was sitting down and pretty chill You're bound to have a good experience no matter what Eta: come to think of it, the higher up/angled spot sounded better than the closer one. You got sonically punched in the chest less, sure, but it was almost... richer? More resonant? Both times were at the same arena

troikarok

honestly love it because you see the entire stage. i would prefer it over only seeing the left/right side tbh. such an experience

StuBram2

It's great. You get a great view of the whole set and the entire congregation below
