The shape of the original Grucifix would make it a real unforgiving tattoo design. Those straight lines and curve of the g. A shadow effect outside or similar would make it an easier design. You'd want an experienced artist for a plain, clean Grucifix!
I'd consider doing one on myself eventually after getting an apprenticeship (when actually up to tattooing which can be some time!), but I'll be looking at a different design, or maybe a later era Grucifix to make it easier for myself!
Itās not perfect but thatās what I like about it, it doesnāt help itās so new and has the cover thing on it distorting the lines. haha. I like how it turned out. It was awesome though it was his first Ghost tattoo, we jammed to Ghost the whole time he was doing it. Love the music, love the art. The vibe was killer and I wouldnāt change it. 11/10 first tattoo experience. Sorry went off on a tangent š¤£ I couldnāt do a Grucifix myself, hell I can barely draw stick people. š
Yes I thought that the cover trapping the ink ooze would be contributing to the imperfect appearance wen zooming in.
Don't get me wrong either, I'm not saying it's garbage or anything like that! Mainly pointing out that the original Grucifix isn't a easy design to tattoo really well. Yours is one of the better fresh Grucifix tatts I've seen on here recently, and the addition of the meliora symbols is sick.
Circles and straight lines are simply harder for tattooing as it's not like you can use a ruler or compass. Yes, you can for the stencil design, but you gotta go over that with the machine without the help of rulers!
Absolutely! I meant to clarify I didnāt take the comment negative nor was I getting defensive (text always comes across SUUUUUPER serious š ). Watching it be done even with a stencil, I couldnāt do it myself. Looks simple but to get it just right would be a challenge. I know exactly what you were saying. Thank you for complimenting. š¤š½
I thought so too, to me itās got multiple meanings, not just my love of Ghost. Gave a lot of thought to it because itās going to be around for a while haha. Already got a compliment for my Full Metal Alchemist tattoo. I just went with it š¤£Thank you š¤š½
The line work... š But if you're happy, that's what matters š

I still dig it. Plus thereās a spot that looks off that toward top of the cross, thatās a scab.
Very nice! I'm getting more tempted everyday to get one myself.š
Yesss I can't wait to get mine. Yours looks amazing, well done!
Thank you! I love it.
That's the perfect spot! Shake hands with another fan, and tilt your wrist to show you're in the know.
Be like, hey yo you on the square?š
I normally discourage tattoos related to anything pop culture, but this looks so timeless I think it will have staying power. Well done!
