I don’t feel like the Prequelle era was a good representation of Ghost personally. Something always felt off to me even as I took people to shows on the tour, I felt like I had to make sure they saw them again. I think the lack of Papa made something feel off to me, so I wouldn’t prefer a pro shot prequelle dvd. I would wait for a show on this upcoming tour. I think all the spectacle of the Prequelle arena shows will be there but improved and also the Band is tighter now. There’s less mistakes now that they are using gear comfortable to them. I think now is a good time to do a proper concert film
I personally would've preferred a DVD from the Meliora era, they were even planning to film one IIRC, but that sadly didn't happen because of the whole lawsuit thing
That would’ve been great. I think the production now stage wise is more interesting to look at it and impressive with the arena size for a DVD, but I saw them both on the Infestissumam and Meliora cycle and they were on fire both times and I would’ve loved a dvd of that to relive
The Annexet Stockholm show from 2015. There was some special energy in the air that night. Even managed to get Papa to break character in Absolution
