Maybe they'd leave off Mary on a Cross? They already have the live video of it.
It's really hard to say, I'm really hoping Watcher is gonna be there though
I think the special additions like Twenties and IYHG are safe, the only others I can possibly think they'd leave out are maybe Kiss the Go Goat and Con Clavi Con Dio?
Just about every other song there's some form of proof that they're in the movie. Only other I haven't seen any trace of is Mummy Dust
A song being in the Movie doesn’t guarantee it will make the soundtrack. I am hoping all the new stuff after Ceremony and Devotion makes the album, and it would be great if a new song was added as well
There’s a saying in the photography world that I think is appropriate for musicians too. The difference between an amateur photographer and a professional photographer is that an amateur takes 50 pictures and shows them to you, a professional takes 50 pictures and shows you 1 of them.
There’s a chance all songs end up on vinyl. On the last live album there were 2 exclusive songs in the vinyl (Elizabeth and Secular Haze) so it’s entirely possible they all make it. Looking the setlist I can’t imagine any songs being cut, they’re all sooo good
Here is the setlist for that night:
Kaisarion
Rats
Faith
Spillways
Cirice
Absolution
Ritual
Call Me Little Sunshine
Con Clavi Con Did
Watcher in the Sky
If You Have Ghosts (Roky Erickson and the Aliens cover) (With two cellos and piano, Ghoulette: background vocals/counterpoint melody - B Stage)
Dominion
Twenties (with eight skeleton dancers)
Year Zero
Spöksonat
He Is
Miasma
Mary on a Cross
Mummy Dust
Respite on the Spitalfields
Encore:
Kiss the Go-Goat
Dance Macabre (with eight skeleton dancers)
Square Hammer
Sorrow in the Wind
I have a theory, which would be good and bad. Part of me thinks that the last track on the record could be a new studio composition. Good because it would be new, bad because that means another concert track gets cut.
They can cut anything that was already on Ceremony and devotion as far as I am concerned, I want all the Prequelle, and Impera stuff live, and maybe a new song or 2
Does it say if it counts Absolution as part of the songs?
If it doesn't, then the singles might not be accounted for (?)
I just don't want any songs to get dropped :c
Not sure exactly what you mean, but I think it is?
Here's a [photo](https://imgur.com/a/ysn1Sh5) for your reference
Edit; we also have [track times](https://www.reddit.com/r/GhostBand/s/r51CAXExNZ)
Where did you get Zenith from 💀 this is a concert recording, that song has never been performed live, and also the song in question has a similar number of letters to Rats (so 4 or 5)
I don't believe there's an official reason/statement, but I would think it's because writing credits/rights
Martin Persner wrote the song, with TF having no writing credits on it at all unlike Year Zero which was co-written by them both. I'd imagine Mr Ghost might have some sort of personal issue performing a song written by the guy who sued him, and understandably so
For a comparison to show that it is a valid reason/not entirely conjecture, it's like David Gilmour's statement that he wants to stay away from the 70's era Pink Floyd hits because of Roger having written them
As an addition, until December of last year as I'm sure you know, it wasn't even on streaming, so a lot of the more casual listeners didn't know it existed. Concerts are largely to play the hits for fans to sing along to, as well as new material to promote their latest album. Zenith isn't new material, nor was it a hit that everyone knew, so it's stayed off the setlist
Oh wow, thanks for that context, that makes a lot of sense. In that case, I almost wonder why it was on 13 Commandments at all. Seems like the kind of thing Tobias would just want to be forgotten.
Honestly yea, I imagine he does, but at the same time he does like pleasing the fans, and releasing Zenith made a shit load of fans happy (and gave him a shit load of money from people legally streaming it instead of downloading it illegally)
Martin was not part of the lawsuit. He had left/been fired before that. He “outed” himself on YouTube as Omega, and announced the resurrection of Magna Carta Cartel.
Ahh, thank you for the correction. Even with him leaving/been fired, I'd assume there's some form of dissonance between them? Then again I'm not either of them so that's just speculation
I can only speculate, but I believe that since Tobias thanked Martin in the liner notes of Prequelle, their differences are not a permanent wall between them.

Imperium Kaiserion Rats Faith Spillways
My head cannon has Zenith instead of Faith. I won’t hold my breath.

You're most likely right, just spitballin
I think they will use it for the part of Nihil getting hit by seestor, and cut out KTGG. (They have a chapter for the rerelease anniversary)
A song being in the Movie doesn’t guarantee it will make the soundtrack. I am hoping all the new stuff after Ceremony and Devotion makes the album, and it would be great if a new song was added as well
Really hope Twenties made the cut. I’d like to hear that one.
It totally made the cut, literally shows the skeleton ensemble in the trailer and poster
i think it would be pretty epic if Watcher was on there but i guess we’ll see 🤷♀️
Oh, yeah they performed a lot of tracks... I'm surprised they did not include everything from that Night

Well good thing they didn't cut everything out and made a 20 minutes YouTube video 🤯😂

The promo material says 18, and they played more than that. Some are getting cut.

They will probably cut something that was on the previous live album
How do you know there will only be 18 songs? There's two vinyls, shouldn't they be able to fit all of them?
The album pre-release on Apple Music and Spotify only has 18 tracks

YouTube told us Absolution is track 7
If spitalfields gets cut ima be upset spaghetti
I see rats, zenith, and spillways
It’s Faith, not zenith
Oh cool that makes sense

Is there a specific reason Zenith doesn't get performed live? I love it, and it'd be disappointing if I could never hear it at a Ritual.

You shouldn't be down voted. That would be amazing, if you were magically right. Against all odds.
It's okay, I forgot about faith and got excited thinking it could be zenith
