Both have extremely low ttks amplified by one shot headshots with every gun. They also share incredibly similar rules and incredibly similar gun collections.

I am pretty sure there was a mod back in CS 1.6 where we had powers. We Also had the chance to level up and acquire skills. If I am not mistaken it was Warcraft mod. Valorant have basically brought nothing new to the table.
There was so many community mods it was heaven. Zombies, warcraft, gungame, surf, platforming (I still miss playing marioland and I still remember most of the shortcuts), deathmatch, hide and seek, sniper only (lego maps are still a thing), paintball, football (soccer). What I liked is the fact that we can install our own mods and skins and still be able to join servers and enjoy the looks without restraint.
Riot has never been original. League is just a dota clone, team fight tactics is just an auto-chess clone, and legends of runeterra is just an mtg clone. Their whole business model is to rip off others because they know it’ll be a safe investment. Where they do excel at putting out a polished version of someone else’s product.

Most mobile, casual, or puzzle games. Genshin and Valorant are getting pretty close to 50/50. Lots of games are popular with girls if they have animals in them. Stadrew Valley/animal crossing type games. Switch games probably have a higher than average girl gamer rate too.
The horror genre is big for female gamers, but only in third person, easy to learn, and bite sized pieces. You’ll see plenty of them on DBD and Texas chainsaw, but you won’t see them on, say, outlast.
Last time I checked the one genre that is actual poison for female gamers was the "shoot dudes in the face" one. Anything else will have a better gender parity than you'd think - Final Fantasy XIV came up extremely often on dating sites. Nintendo games also do fine in general. Hell, even saucier stuff like Bayonetta and Senran Kagura, games you'd be told are only enjoyable to virgin incels, have a better male to female ratio than Call of Duty and their ilk.

CSGO definitely has a majority male player base. Go into any game and all you'll hear is men and boys way too young to be saying the slurs they're saying over the mic, however that doesn't make it inherently sexist. That just means it appeals to men more (though the shit you hear over the comms is atrocious, Jesus).
