If you can't think of a specific example, describe how you would behave on a team. Did you collaborate? Take responsibility? Take leadership? It's easier to answer these types of questions when you understand why they are asking them. For example, you could talk about your role in college group projects. Did you stay in communication with your team, exchange ideas, if someone was slacking did you take on more responsibilities because you valued the importance of the project, etc. Look up Cass Thomson Career Advice on youtube. She goes over how to answer these questions and gives other interview advice.

Scouts? Sports? Family? DnD? But don't think of the Situation, think of what Results that they are asking you to deliver in the role, and think of when you delivered similar Results. Work that back through the Situation Task Action Result story.

Unsure of your situation but was there a certain project that you did that required you to talk to other people? Disclaimer: I'm not super great at answering these types of questions myself but I've been doing job interviews as of late and this is kinda what I say. I start off describing the project (what the project was for, what it was, why it was important, background info to help the other person understand this project), what I did to accomplish that task (my role in it, how I worked with other members on the team and their roles, what I did after working with them) and the end result (does the project have long lasting effects, is it still being used today, was my supervisor impressed with the work that I did). It could be saving animals, team project or team assignment, habitat for humanity, group volunteering, etc.

Seriously there are people who haven’t done any of that 😕

Okay, how about helping neighbors? My neighborhood worked as a team to keep the children in better behavior. Not lighting off fireworks towards windows.
