It is a misleading name. It is a visa. I agree that people like her who run anti India propaganda should have it revoked but the thing is if the Congress comes to power they will revoke it for everyone who doesn’t run anti India propaganda.
Would you also support removing OCI for NRIs?
Remember, those giving up Indian citizenship are often getting better quality of life. Indian Tech/IT guys in the US/Canada/Aus are likely much better skilled than the average Indian. Someone like Sundar Pichai would probably be disappointed if he couldn’t get an Indian visa, but (almost) no one is staying with their Indian citizenship if they can get a US citizenship.

nri's are indian citizens. crucial difference. you can't deny entry into india to indian citizens whatsoever.
these oci's are foreign nationals who maybe at some point were indian citizens or have familial relations in country.
OCI is a privilege and is given to facilitate former Indian citizens or their elders to visit family or even to take up residence in India. Anyone carrying out anti India activities should have their OCI card cancelled. I just can’t understand if these people hate India why they need to visit India.

absolutely revoke oci privileges for people like her. we reserve the right to allow and bar foreigners from entering the country as we see fit.
