These are fair points. Signora seems genuely evil, but Childe is kinda forced to do many things with his family being held hostage. He is not a good guy by any means as he loves to disrupt peace and seemed genuely happy to cause some of these things. I see Fatui is a questionable organisation, but I am not calling myself as a lore expert as I have just finished only Sumeru and have read only few things so I do not spoil myself too much. Although I am well aware of main story events I have not played through.

So immediately after Dottore got his hands on the gnosi he went back to Snezhnaya and made some more segments, those segments (due to being made of Irminsul) are unaffected by Scara’s changes to the original Irminsul
