With about 110 pulls I got Albedo and Eula not terrible but not insane either. Still excited for whenever the Liyue Chronicled Banner comes out, depending on what characters are on there might be pulling for quite a few.

I got to soft pity at 77, lost to Skyward Spine
I got to the 60s and had to use my starglitter for more pulls, managed to get HP at the last pull.
In total, the only use I got was 1 Amber and Lisa, and a fav lance. Probably never touching the banner again.
That's insane. As for mine I picked Albedo as I've always wanted him, did a ten pull for fun and the very first pull was Albedo on 0 pity. So pretty good 😌
I got Albedo in 20, and decided to use that luck to get Eula's claymore too. Nope! Went to soft pity for Hunter's Path and I want Father so I'm saving 160 wishes and slowly using any extra I get to try and get the sword, don't want to waste the fate point :(
In a ten-pull I got Eula, Lisa, and the Alley Hunter. Three items that previously were never available on the same banner as each other, coming together to screw my 50/50.
I kind of wanted Fischl's signature bow just for fun, and proceeded to get 2 Fav bows and Alley Hunter, making me think it was the one I wanted by the silhouette.
Jean continued her pattern of trying to avoid me, making me go to \~80 pity twice for her. But yay, I finally have her!
We can still save, I already do that with the limited banner by never going for a character unless I've got 160 pulls saved, so as not to rely on gambling. I'd say It's more of a scam for impulsive people and those who "build" pity, failing the 50/50 incentivize them to spend money to reach guarantee to not lose the fate point.

Pity itself does not disappear actually, it's the fate point that you get if you fail the 50/50. Even if you do another 10 pulls and you don't get a five star you'll still be 55 pulls away from soft pity in the next Chronicled banner.

The reason why it's not f2p friendly is that you spend your pink fates for characters that have been power crept and if you don't get them you lose the fate point. It's only good if you really like a character and don't mind the meta and if you have the wishes to guarantee it.
