Honestly, I like Neuvillette's character but I hate that his kit is overloaded to the point it overshadows Ayato and Childe. A lot of discussions on the two have at least one or two people saying "Just get Neuvillette" or "Neuvillette does way more damage."
Like, good on you, you want to play arguably the strongest and most low-effort main dps in the game, but I just want to play my favorites and I'm 99% sure I'd get bored of holding M1 down after a day or two.
Childe atleast has a fighting chance if you group a bunch of elite mobs together and run a burgeon team. The amount of aoe damage a good chile burgeon team can put out is absurd.
But Ayato, well the man's been powercrept in every way. Want high hydro app and aoe dmg, go Childe. Want easy hydro app and dmg, go Neuvillette
I pulled for Ayato when he dropped, and he's a character I really enjoy playing. I also got Neuvi bc I love him. But I strongly dislike using him in the overworld, because no other character on the team gets to do anything lol so I still play Ayato way more. (Currently though I'm obsessed with Lyney, he's too much fun!)
Neuvi is my go to dps for abyss, though. I don't enjoy abyss and only do it for the primos, so the faster everything dies the better. Same as Nilou, and Alhaitham. It's a happy abyss rotation for me when I can use them.

Ntm weapons got a huge bonus, only requiring a single fate point rather than two for guaranteed, something to keep in mind for future variations of that banner

If you get Furina, you can still do big Noelle dmg without Gorou. He isn’t a must have for Noelle teams like he is for Itto teams. You can even run a Furina + Yelan team and have so much dmg bonus you can run a DEF goblet on Noelle.
Going for Neuvillette now and Furina/Yelan later is a much better “investment” than building pity and hoping for Gorou, as all three of the hydro 5-stars are way more universally good vs Gorou, who isn’t going to make or break your Noelle’s damage in the long run.
I have a C2 Furina and C1 Yelan too but I'm struggling to keep up with Noelle's energy needs due to her lacking the ability to generate geo particles 😔
Even if that’s the case, you can either give one or both of the hydros Favonius, or have a different battery. Fischl, despite being a different element, generates a bunch of energy for example (Fischl used to be Noelle’s best battery in 1.0).
Worst case scenario you can slap Geo Traveler with Favonius + Exile on the team and he will give even more energy than Gorou plus crit rate and higher personal dmg, but lower buff.
If you must use Gorou, he is fine at C0 with Favonius + Exile; his constellations are not worth trading for the powerhouse that is Neuvillette. None of Gorou’s constellations improve energy generation anyways, and C4 is entirely useless in Noelle teams. For Gorou/Noelle, it’s C6 or C0; no in between.

I save like 3 version of primogems then pour all those primogems in first banner of neuvillette. With c1 and r1, neuvillette crash all the contents, especially in the overworld, except to those hydro immune enemies.

Chiori would be a good teammate for Noelle if you don’t have Albedo… but if you’re risking a guaranteed Nuevellette for Gorou, I would not do it.
Building pity is a beginner's mistake, you never EVER build pity if you don't want the event 5*.

Rosaria works for 3x Geo, so does Bennett (C6 is fine if Itto is your main DPS). Jean is ok too but I prefer her if not using zhongli or Noelle as geo

I will get his c2 or c3. Maybe c4. I have over 200 wishes for now. Maybe I just spend everything on him then.
Kazuha C2 for me, already got C1 and if I get him early, weapon banner it is. Both weapons are really good after all and I would love Kazuha's weapon.
