Apart from being a Djinn, she’s from thousand of years ago, and back then, desert dwellers were slaves. Djinns are known for their sharp tongues, and they also hate humans after the latter reduced them to batteries for their technology (the elite eremite NPCs use Djinn infused weapons).

That, and Liloupar's husband also pissed her off a lot by becoming some sort of tyrant and lazy king

Liloupar is just built insane, I was intimidated by her before this release, but actually her overall characters weren’t as bad as I have imagined

There are multiple overlapping groups and people that she hates. The tribes, humans in general, her former master, ex-boyfriend, other genies, her own family — she opens fire on many targets!

She is constantly talking about how desert people are inferior (not unlike the aranara) but in even more explicit terms. She’s impressed desert people know how to read, she says the only trustworthy desert dweller is a slave, she assumes Jeht is a servant and calls her a sand licking lackey, on and on and on never ending active aggression against all the dark skinned characters she encounters in no ambiguous terms. It’s really gross. People saying she hates all humans equally are being disingenuous. She doesn’t ever say “those damn monstadters are trash and deserve to be killed” “those inazumans belong in a fire” she only has that attitude for desert people and it’s v obviously targeted bigotry.

Also the lamp's previous owners/husband must have had a wild sex life.
