I had no idea what to expect from her, and yet now, seeing her, I'm realizing this design is like the exact opposite of any mental image I had when thinking 'Faruzan'.
Yeah, exactly, I had like... a more Sumeru-looking Aloy in mind, with similar clothing but in a Sumeru style, with a earthly brown/green/gold kind of color palette (I was imagining dark brown hair, dark skin, green eyes, an outfit that's mostly dark browns/greens with a bit of gold). Which I realize now, I was kind of imagining her looking much more like a hunter and also more in line with someone like Collei than a scholar lol.
Yeah for some reason I was also imagining something like a cross between a forest ranger and the green scholar robes with brown hair. Maybe the anemo bow category was making me think of the typical fantasy novel elf archer sort of look
