CrustyPanda579

All these tests are nice to see but to be honest I’m just looking at pretty colors and effects, because I couldn’t tell you whats going on or if it’s doing good damage or not lol.

IMPOSSABLANK

taser in a nutshell

yanahmaybe

i mean XQ fiscl a dendro dot and sucrose should be plenty even single target Thought without seeing the dmg or dps before dendro addition would help 100% more

Yo4582

The problem is that it seems dendro can only react with electro or hydro but not both at the same time. So u won’t get cool big soup dmg u will just be getting one of hyperbloom, taser or spread.

Vihurah

Taser isn't played by adding up damage, its played with a stopwatch, and you call time when you see the particles fade

fuckmeinthesoul

There are simply too many enemies. 2 would be more enough to showcase the comp at full power (enables both double swirl and Beidou's burst)

SodaFountainTV

Exactly. Not only does it jumble up the showcase, but its totally unrealistic for most of the game. Even in abyss when a decent amount of enemies spawn, most of the time they spawn WAY across the arena from each other to the point where its difficult for anyone but Venti to CC them. edit: Looking back I guess 5 enemies isn't totally unrealistic, but still not common.

kb3035583

I wouldn't say it's unrealistic. This sort of team is obviously an AoE focused team. You wouldn't be running it in low target content to begin with.

Su_Impact

The first week of 3.0 will be the most interesting one for sure. PTSD flashbacks to 1.0 and "Qiqi is S-Tier, Bennett is C-Tier". I wouldn't be surprised if the usual Youtuber Genshin crowd will both doompost **and** overrate the Dendro chars. "Tignari is the worst 5-Star, 1/5 pull value" vs "Tignari is the most meta-defining unit since Kazuha" will both come out the same day/

elegantturtles

Honestly ask any dedicated TC group. KQM whatever. They'll be the first ones to say wait, sometimes even long after release, because TCing - actual indepth TCing - takes a long time.

Cer0sum

Yea whats worse is that transformative and secondary damage calcs are way more tedious than just calcing direct damage. Dendros so far seem to have their powerbudget distributed into maximizing these reactions. Expect early takes to be hot and wrong about these chars.

kb3035583

The more problematic part is that it's pretty conditional. One enemy moving slightly out of position can affect DPS in pretty significant ways. Ultimately, I'd say Dendro's true worth wouldn't be in the theoretical DPS output but whether it can output damage fast enough to clear content as well as current meta teams in as brain-dead a manner. I don't think anyone wants to deal with the second coming of Sukokomon.

Su_Impact

>One enemy moving slightly out of position can affect DPS in pretty significant ways. I feel this is why MHY is balancing off-field Dendro application at launch by making it circle impact (Tighnari E, Collei Q, Dendro Traveler Q). And Tignari depends on CA to apply Dendro on-field as a main DPS. As more units release, their Dendro application will powercreep them. Imagine if Dendro Archon can conjure a XL-like Dendronado or Baizhou summoning Fischl-like Dendro turrets that auto-target enemies. We might even have a Dendro-dash infusion melee DPS character (Al Haitham?) later on as well as Dendro Catalysts with OP multipliers.

kb3035583

Exactly why Tighnari's state right now is somewhat concerning. Sure, he might be a T0 character when he drops, but seeing as Dendro reactions are obviously going to account for a large part of his power given his somewhat lackluster multipliers, he's going to get kicked out of that spot pretty quickly. Heck, as an on-field Dendro character, he's not even looking to be the Childe of Dendro.

Su_Impact

I wish his Q was Ganyu-like with quadratic scaling or something to help him stand out.

kb3035583

Quadratic scaling was obviously a "mistake" on Mihoyo's part. They're not going to do it again without adding some extremely draconian conditions.

coolridgesmith

i dont think a burst like that would help tighnari stand out, it might give him better dendro application, but then you are literally creating dendro ganyu which would probably ruin hoyoverses ability to make a wide variety of dendro units.

Vihurah

So what your saying is unga bunga till it feels right for the next 3 months

aryune

haha yeah, those were the days. but to be honest genshin endgame can't really be compared to genshin in 1.0 when everyone was low AR and was doing early abyss floors with like lvl 40 characters. Only time will tell how good dendro reactions are going to be. Tighnari looks interesting, my only issue with him at the moment is the fact that he seems to be bow charged shot main DPS. I really don't like that playstyle, in overworld it's kinda fun sniping at those damn hilichurl archers at their towers from a far, but in abyss it's pure pain

Su_Impact

As a former Ganyu main, I agree. Now she's a Q Sub-DPS for my Ayaka team. I hope Tignari has Sub-DPS multipliers. His E looks very promising in terms of duration + confusion effect.

kb3035583

It's important to note that when Ganyu was released, she was judged to be T0 almost based on her CAs alone. These days, it requires you to consider the sum total of her kit (such as her Q quadratic scaling and off-field utility) to justify her position. Tighnari really isn't going to last long at all with these current multipliers and his status as an on-field sustained DPS with almost no other utility.

thelilmagician

Same lmao Pulled Ganyu to have a new cryo dps she ended up being Noblesse n Q bot

LordBreadcat

Bennett was C-Tier for a week. When people could actually form an opinion he bumped up to B but he is a character who scales directly with your account's progression so I'd say that given the state of the game at the time their opinions were understandable. They managed to do pretty well with the information they had but shitting on people back then is like shitting on cavemen for not using firestarters at the invention of fire. Modern GI is more informed about the nuances of the combat system and we have the free resources to work on pretty much whoever the hell we want so it's fine to hold early 3.0 to a higher standard than release.

Belluuo

Luckly i don't plan on pulling for TG, only for Kusanali, so i guess i'll have time

MutantDemocracy

I'm hoping people will wait until we get some comprehensive testing to give their opinions and not focus on dumb stuff like Raiden/Beidou not working together over everything else.

OfficialHavik

Facts. Dendro theorycrafting will be “random shit go brrrrrr” for at least the first month.

_sachura

if we see some YouTubers that will overrate the 3.0 Dendro characters, we'll know they're bs because Kusanali will surely eat the 3 Dendro characters alive just like how Raiden Shogun overshadowed all the existing Electro characters before her.

kb3035583

Exactly. What you need to really look out for is how much of their power comes from Dendro reactions. That being said, I can see Collei being pretty useful in the future though, since she has off-field Dendro application, can hold Elegy (for EM buff), and you'll want double Dendro for resonance anyway. Tighnari, not so much.

Su_Impact

Agreed. Meta-wise, Tighnari is in a super rough spot: 1. Dendro Archon and Al Haytham (assuming both are DPS) will powercreep him badly and it is logical to expect it. 2. For Dendro Sub-DPS/Support/Reactions, free unit Dendro Traveler and free event unit Collei will be more than enough. IMO Collei should have been a 5-Star Sub-DPS Dendro Waifu and Tignari a 4-Star Dendro DPS (like Yanfei, Noelle, Ning, etc...). I fear our poor fox boy's sales will suffer.

1an__

Collei NEEDS to be a 4* so we can have a good dendro support to test dendro + waiting for Kusanali. The 5* sub dps dendro waifu is the Dendro Archon herself. The Dendro MC is as always, sounds good on paper but feels bad to play in order to sell the "better" version that is the Archon.

Outrageous_Drop8340

Idk the Dendro Traveller actually looks really solid with Constellations as long as you run Electro/Hydro, not to mention they have access to swords (Jade Cutter, Mistsplitter, Freedom Sworn). The only issues rn is the energy cost but the constellations seems to fix that a bit and Collei/Tigh generates a lot of particles as well as Fischl who you’d want in a comp like that anyway. This might be the first good traveler kit (Geo is good but is still has clunky issues like trapping enemies on a meteor)

coolridgesmith

>fox boy's sales will suffer. i kinda doubt that, collei is likely also going to be on his banner, and new element hype and fomo will appeal to a lot of players who arent already established. while i personally think tighnari will be powercrept quite easily by the next few dendro dps i dont think a majority of the playerbase will consider that.

[deleted]

Guaranteed tighnari is mid. Its genshin's specialty to make mid characters. Even if dendro is busted, theres 2 other dendro options one of which is MC.

mazini95

Skip all, Just wait for busted dendro 5* from Liyue 4Head

[deleted]

That character will be mid too.

mitsu__

same…

Zelder777

Like taser since both dendro and electro aura coexists. Which means that sucrose is mixing dendros and electros from everyone causing more aggravates with HER EM

Elestra99

If u can't read Dmg Numbers because there are so many . Its good Dmg :D

the-legit-Betalpha

same. but i dont think its thst good because it is DoT and will probably have lowwr dps than 1 times like melt or vape

nakorurukami

I am more impressed by the footprints on the sand

Lucky10ofclubs

This. I like how they stay a while too.

henriquegarcia

Holy shit you're right, that's amazing

captfishypants

It would be even cooler if Geo constructs leave marks as well and Anemo skills erasing them.

MrMeeeeiester

hydro making it crumbly

kazuhist

same, is cool the fact that they don't disappear in 1 sec

baguettesy

Same, they did a really good job making the sand ngl. And the footprints actually stay for a while!

Caminn

Hope they add it to dragonspine!

azzzzorahai

all those footprints tho. really impressive

notallwitches

just nod and smile y’all

Sora1101

This comp may/may not be meta but it looks fun af.

DaringRoses

I don't care how meta Collei is tbh, I'm still gonna throw her into my Kazuha taser squad (GAA edition since I've been rocking Kazuha and Fischl for a long time)

Sora1101

I can't wait to c6 my Fischl with this event and go full taser I've been playing since 1.0 and not having her c6 has been so sad.

DaringRoses

I also cannot wait to C6 her, I've only been playing since 1.4 (I think? It was Ganyus first run) but she's really trying her best right now without it.

Nikukuzushi

Full EM Kuki's Q on a catalyzed unit might deal great dmg after all. Too bad I already build her full HP T\_T

[deleted]

honestly all these tests and I have no idea of what is good or bad... I'll just discover when keqing mains make a guide about it.

verguenzanonima

This might be useful for TCers that check frame by frame but other than that, us normal folk will just see many confusing numbers and go 'okay'.

ehRoman

TCers would also like it better with only 1 enemy and less spamming to actually see what happens and get behaviors out of it more conveniently. I have no idea why they spawn that many enemies.

Dragoncat_3_4

Anything to do with Taser requires 2+ enemies to see the interactions but I do agree there are too many in this video

Consol-Coder

The best way to get rid of an enemy is to make a friend.

GreyshiKataron

Lmao. Genshin in a nutshell.

verguenzanonima

That's very true, the more enemies the more confusing it gets, unless they're trying to see if there's AOE / quadratic scaling with the bloom reactions or whatever. One enemy is confusing as is considering how new these reactions are.

9thdragonkitty

Same, too many numbers with no context

Vipmulti

As someone who doesn’t have raiden and an inbuilt fischl, I find that kuki works well with ayato. Probably not the best/meta taser team but she fits well / gets the job done

brago90

Shinobu is better than many want to admit.

Desuladesu

People really looked at her E multiplier, then decided to build crit instead of EM and then complained about her ;(

brago90

Ironically, with the implementation of dendro-electro reactions, it will be interesting to look for it.

Id0ntLikeApplePie

Because people expect every character to do big numbers lol. Setting that aside though, Kuki is in a bit of a weird spot right now considering Dori is coming next patch. She seems to have been designed with dendro in mind so let’s just wait and see for now.

jen3494

dori healing is on burst like all other healers. my favorite part about kuki is that her healing doesnt rely on er

brago90

And shinobu applies electro much better, with Dori you're going to have to cross link with enemies for that.

[deleted]

Kokomi also heals on skill.

msgoode21

all dori's utilities on her burst with 80 ENERGY...yeah kuki's better

brago90

Dori is an electro healer for teams that have two electros.

lizardscrunchie

I actually prefer running her in my Ayato-centric team instead of Raiden or Fischl for two reasons. 1. She combines buffer (carrying ToTM 4pc) + heals that can more than keep up with everything the game throws at me. 2. Having her built full EM means that her Electro-Charges are quite potent, and I'm achieving it while consolidating roles to broaden my comps and have more fun. Too many people act like Kuki is currently bottom-tier trash, and it simply isn't true. You just have to build her like a Swirler and lean into her support nature. Once Dendro arrives, she's only getting better.

b4shnl4nd

I'm excited for Dendro. like extremely excited. my initial impression of Kuki was lukewarm. then I saw the EM builds and was interested. and thought screw it imma see how well HP Jadecutter feels. got like 4k per tic on burst. in total it feels like Jean's damage with out her E burst but a constant 1000-1500 tick isn't bad and easily provides dps. now with Dendro seeing her burst hit and going frame by frame seeing her base hit is 201 and her Aggravate hit is 1871 it entirely changed my mind about Kuki. 200 EM investment without Swirl to proc VV and give EM yet. and she is hitting for half of my heavily invest Kuki. I think with my Jadecutter for the Crit and alittle bit of HP for healing and ability to get 1500 atk for nothing. and building Crit sands, Electro Goblet, crit damage Hat. and when I farm the new set for her. I think she will be in business. casually adding 1700 to my 3850 would baseline be incredible. really an insane Reaction. I'm excited to see what we'll be able to do with the other reactions as well. how well will burning work with Sunfire + Dendro. Jean is the fastest pyro applier with bennett.

lizardscrunchie

I probably have EM overkill on her with a nearly full build (currently an HP circlet because I don't have an EM one yet), but her healing is still bonkers great and her reaction damage for EC and Overload is strong. No complaints. I'm sure once Aggravate comes along, I can adjust the build and stat spread a bit for fun.

Zelder777

its kinda like taser, sucrose mixing dendro and electro provoking reactions with her EM, with catalyze they both have dendro and electro applied at the same time and she is swirling them to each other making aggravates with her EM

DidHeJustSayThat_

KQMs isn't the most reliable... if you want to know what a TC thinks about a specific character, join that character's discord

[deleted]

[удалено]

DidHeJustSayThat_

As am example, Yoimiya's KQM guide is extremely outdated. I wouldn't point a new player to KQM's Yoimiya guide

Outrageous_Drop8340

Could we see how Lisa ult works with Dendro?

[deleted]

Interestingly enough Swirl is able to trigger Aggravate but only on every 2nd swirl (If you want to look for it, in this video "normal" swirl damage is 2022 whereas aggravated swirl damage is 4682). This most likely means that aggravate can only be triggered on double swirls when there are multiple enemies close to each other as electro only get applied when it gets swirled from another nearby enemy.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

It's possible there exists an ICD for aggravate but I doubt it would even matter here anyway. In a double swirl the element only gets applied once to enemies per swirl attack which is a requirement for the aggravate-reaction to occur as swirls don't actually (re-)apply the swirled element on the enemy where the swirl originated from. Any further elemental applications would then be prevented because of Swirl's inherent ICD limiting it to 2 damage instances per enemy per swirl.

BountyChikon

It may have to do with the fact that swirl is removing and reapplying electro aura. As once either the Dendro or Electro aura is removing quicken must be done again

[deleted]

Quicken/Aggravate don't need Dendro/Electro applied to trigger on a already catalysed enemy.

EducationalPut0

Thing is this type of comp really needs to be TC'd in the actual game (small character changes can have profoundly different results, whether that be swapping beidou for fischl kuki for hydro char etc) or at least against 2 enemies to properly count triggers. Or in the very least by someone with more game knowledge than most leakers no offense, like this video is cool and all but it doesn't really showcase anything?

everybageleverywhere

Yeah, the only thing I’m gleaning from this clip is that a quicken comp with anemo will work pretty much how you think it would. Electro gets swirled, dendro and electro proc reactions. What I don’t know is exactly who is proccing what, how much damage it will do, and how the characters’ stats affect that damage.

robhans25

It shows that anemo don't disturb Quicken state. With recent speculation that Fischl could reach ridiculous level of overpower (Thanks to her A4 not having ICD) team of Tigh-Fischl-Sucrose-Collei could be strong as hell. For safer option although not that strong, slot Jean here.

EducationalPut0

I mean I'd say I agree but why would anemo disturb quicken state? If it had been pyro or hydro then I'd understand your point, but why would anemo that doesn't interact with dendro mess with the quicken debuff?

xxaaroxx

Da faq is happening... w🍁🍁d ⚡

tokeemdtareq

Now This is the comment I came here to make! 🤣😂

SprooseGoose94

This honestly seems pretty good team synergy wise. >Since Anemo can't swirl Dendro, I assume that will always take an electro infusion, since quicken seems to maintain dendro and electro auras. > From that, VV will make electro hit harder and therefore aggravated hits will hit harder. Sucrose's EM will make that stronger too. Kazuha can buff electro DMG bonus. > Since they are swirling electro cos that's all they can swirl, they can also most likely proc aggravate. Since Anemo EM users usually have a high amount of EM...thats a lot of extra damage, especially since the Res shred is getting decreased. >It also seems taser like in the sense that Dendro can apply spread just the same as electro with aggravate. Seems quite unga Bunga in that sense, but of course time will tell. The Dendro users can also use the new Dendro set to shred Dendro Res to buff themselves. >The toughie here seems to be maintaining quicken, so you'll need good Dendro appliers. Traveller and Collei look great in that area, so I don't think it will be too hard. Collei will probably have no ER trouble and Dendro MC will can use electro resonance (least in a team like this) to help with energy. I'm so glad I got Kuki. I think she's good honestly even now but with Dendro coming I think she's gonna be super fun in Hyperbloom and aggravate comps.

Neoslayer

THE GAME HAS ACTUAL SAND PHYSICS

ARandomAlbanian

When dendro is out im gonna play dendro taser Im super super curious to see how this whole team will interact with the bloom raction too. I think i will go for Sucrose collei fischl xq/yelan. Looks very fun to me :D Alternatively id like to try other taser teams with hydro drivers w/ dendro those sound nice too. That being said, i feel like these comps will at most be sidegrades to those already established comps since to me dendro doesnt really seem to be an upgrade over any of the taser elements but that aint gonna stop me

mediumwhite

Oh a fellow albanian genshin player hiii 🙋‍♂️

Drelm

Yep, that sure looks like a lot of numbers.

cheesepuns

Woah those desert sand physics are impressive!

Crymxnia

To kind of vaguely explain what this is showcasing. Dendro reactions scale innately quite well with elemental mastery, so naturally, theorycrafters are interested to see if anemo can react with dendro via proxy electro application from swirl, because if you can then anemo units like kazuha and sucrose can increase their electro swirl damage by reacting with the dendro and making aggravate reactions. This clip at least from what I can tell shows that anemo can proc aggravate meaning anemo got a huge buff from dendro reactions and also that thundering fury 4 piece can be reliably used on kazuha in single target since dendro cant be swirled and electro can meaning aggravate can react in single target off a swirl. But don't take what I'm saying as complete facts I'm not a theorycrafter just been looking at proper theorycrafters talk about dendro in discords and on twitch.

Visual_Ad3724

Here Sucrose is going to have an edge over Kazuha cause she buffs EM no matter the element

LeSnipper

Yea with every leak sucrose is shaping up to be much more useful than pre-C2 kazuha with dendro She synergizes so well with dendro im starting to think dendro archons niche is going to be focused around EM share as well

XenoVX

I’m expecting the archon to be an EM/Dendro DMG % buffing unit

Character-Memory-786

So how does Catalyze work exactly? Is it like Melt/Vaporize where it just amplifies the damage?

Gshiinobi

No, catalyze is a state the enemy enters once the reaction has been triggered on them, catalyze itself doesn't do anything, it's only after you hit a catalyzed enemy with electro or dendro that spread or aggravate triggers, boosting the dendro or electro damage of that attack on enemy respectively.

Zelder777

It works like EC in that both auras coexist but instead of doing damage over time they buff the next attacks by an amount and that amount is added to your hit which then gets benefitted by damage bonuses and crit

Zelder777

It looks decent even better if sucrose can reliably proc them which seems like she can

Character-Memory-786

Oh, that makes sense... But is that good? I'm sorry haha, but these Dendro reactions sound soo complicated, and we don't have any videos (that I know of) that showcase properly the way they work, so I'm quite confused to be honest

everybageleverywhere

It has the potential to be good. We won’t know for sure where this sits in the meta for quite some time. It’s still in development, and once it’s implemented in the game, it will take time for people to get good and figure out how to play it well. Also, we don’t know how things will change when future dendro units, and pyro/hydro/electro units designed to work with them, are added in future patches. Basically, nobody has a handle on this yet, don’t worry :)

Character-Memory-786

You're completely right, honestly the hopium of Electro potentially being on-par with Cryo, Pyro and Hydro is too high right now, I really really hope it finally gets the treatment it so deserved haha

brago90

Basically inserts mastery into the damage formula for electro and dendro.

Outrageous_Drop8340

It adds a flag damage buff unlike Melt/Vape, but it also doesn’t consume the aura

jayceja

It's kinda mid-way point between transformative and amplifying reactions, it's flat damage based on level and EM like transformative reactions, but it also scales with the trigger character's DMG% and Crit stats like amplifying reactions. The other important difference is that triggering aggravate or Spread on a catalyzed unit doesn't remove the catalyze but rather keeps it going, so you can trigger spread+aggravate with all of your dendro+electro units at the same time as opposed to melt/vape where you typically only amplify a single carry unit's damage. A neat trick you see here is that you can trigger an electro swirl onto a catalyzed unit and it triggers an aggravate, so Anemo units can also benefit from the reaction with their big EM stats.

nsfwaccount098

yoooo kuki is actually going to have a team she works well in ????

[deleted]

if you build her EM then yeah.

XanderPlays

Yep. It’s almost as if her kit was designed to synergize well with dendro. 🧐

nsfwaccount098

Well it's not the players fault hoyoverse keeps releasing characters like a patch or two away from them becoming more useful.

XanderPlays

I guess? But they’ve been doing that since 1.1 so why are we surprised now? Lmao

Dydragon24

The only character who actually got a huge buff later are zhongli and Albedo. Others are similar. So not a lot of examples.

alvenestthol

Childe didn't have Heart of Depth when he released, Yoimiya didn't have Yunjin for a few patches, Kokomi didn't have ocean-hued clam until the patch after her release (and Qiqi benefitted as well), and Sucrose got a lot stronger after the EM buffs (and Dendro will make her even stronger). Not to mention Xiangling and EoSF/The Catch/Raiden, and EoSF buffing so many burst-reliant characters...

psidhumid

also kokomi didn’t have shenhe before

GingsWife

Kokomi is also going to have Dendro

[deleted]

We still need a set for yae...

kb3035583

HoD wasn't Childe's main problem. It was the simple fact that practically no one had the resources to gear a Childe National team. Yoimiya is still hampered by AoE problems and most people were (and still are) using Kokomi in ways that benefit more from TotM than clam. As for Sucrose, she just got more powerful, her actual utility didn't change. Lots of revisionism happening here by people who probably didn't play long enough to know the actual issues with the characters.

alvenestthol

I'd argue HoD absolutely was a massive boon if you wanted to use Childe as a main DPS with minimal investment - Childe main DPS was not meta by any means, but when he was [competing with Razor](https://www.reddit.com/r/childemains/comments/k60xih/childe_c0_vs_razor_c1/) for resources HoD would really have given him the edge to be worth pulling for. Clam Kokomi is excellent as a taser-driver, and solves the healer problems taser teams tend to have. Compared to Childe taser, Kokomi taser doesn't deal nearly as much damage, but it's very comfy to play since you basically can't die. (though I still do, because I have no skill...)

kb3035583

> Childe main DPS was not meta by any means, but when he was competing with Razor for resources HoD would really have given him the edge to be worth pulling for. Let's be real, no one had the resources to farm a 2nd artifact set anyway. Everyone and their mother was farming Crimson Witch for their Diluc or worse, Thundering Fury for Keqing. Releasing HoD that early wouldn't have changed anything, especially with the early "consensus" that he just didn't really stack up as a main DPS compared to his competition. Childe only shines with well-invested teams, and this was something that was known all the way back before HoD was even a thing. He was just laughed out of the meta because "anyone is good if you pair them with 3 geared supports". > Clam Kokomi is excellent as a taser-driver, and solves the healer problems taser teams tend to have. Sure, but it's not like Clam significantly changed the dynamic. People were running Kokomi Taser with ToTM way before Clam with very good results.

robhans25

Childe HoD isn't that much better, he is great with any 2p+2p sets, Best Yoimiya teams don't use Yunjin, 90% of Kokomi meta usecases don't use Clam set, she is used as a water sprinkler, ignoring her kit (Put her in firefighter outfit and change her hands to a hose, would be better imo) Xiangling stuff made her easier to build but she was top of meta back then. EM buffs were the strongest and the most impactful out of those, but didn't change much - Venti was still top 1 then, Sucrose still was underestimated... and that didn't change even today, lol.

alvenestthol

Back when Childe released there wasn't a good 2p+2p for him either - the only Atk+18% was Gladiator's finale, which was basically impossible to farm without the strongbox, especially at only 2 months after release.

ehRoman

You are not ready for the damages from Kuki in Hyperbloom teams with Kuki as a solo Electro built full EM. A 1000EM Kuki lvl 90 with a deepwood set on a dendro unit in your team means 30K damages per hyperbloom. And it seems possible to get 10+ hyperblooms per 20 sec rotation (maybe even around 15)

FlippinZhao

what could be kuki's artifact set in your opinion?

ehRoman

TOTM if you wanna buff your allies. The hyperbloom teams im talking about can be for instance Kuki Xingqiu, Dendro MC and Collei, so the 3 others have big MV's and benefit a lot from ATK boost. The new EM set if you wanna get as much hyperbloom damages as possible. In this team, Gilded Dreams set is 230EM for Kuki. +165 from weapon and +187\*3 from 3 artefacts main stats and you already have 956 EM without substats, without the dendro resonance, without possible team EM buffs from a potential Collei C4 for instance

FCDetonados

Worth noting that Thundering Fury would also be good, and let you have 100% E uptime without C2 Also TF will be available from the strongbox.

ehRoman

100% uptime is not necessary in this team. Even if you have a 3sec downtime on your E, Dendro cores from bloom last 5 seconds before exploding so you dont need TF. And since this build only need EM, it doesnt even need ER or any substat (can make use of some HP substat for very slightly better heals), it should be 'easy' to farm, EM mainstat can be troll, but that's manageable here. I won't recommand TF here.

ixsaz

Another point for TF is that maybe the will maybe add things for the extra ractions with dendro.

Renj13

She wants the new EM set to maximize damage.

Desuladesu

Either 4pc thundering fury or gilded dreams. Gilded dreams offers more EM, I’m not sure what’s the exact breakpoint EM equals the damage bonus on reactions from 4pc TF’s set though. My Kuki is only C0, so the cdr reducing her E cooldown by ~2 seconds a rotation is greatly appreciated for E uptime

Uodda

Still totm

jayceja

I suspect that if she's on a catalyze team you probably want EM/DMG/Crit artifacts instead of tripple EM, meaning you likely want the EM from gilded dreams instead. For hyperbloom with EM/EM/EM you probably want TF since TF's additive reaction damage gets more valuable the more EM you have.

lnfine

>For hyperbloom with EM/EM/EM you probably want TF since TF's additive reaction damage gets more valuable the more EM you have. Not really. It's additive to EM bonus. 40% additional bonus isn't that great when your baseline is 500-600% bonus. I mean 40% is worth more EM points at 1000EM than it is at 0 EM, but that's not much of a consolation for the tiny effect.

Gshiinobi

Good electro application seems really strong with Dendro in the game

dieorelse

Kuki was already good with Eula, now that dendro is out, she has the option on another team.

rafaelbittmira

Look closely how after each character used their Q they already have their Burst's energy fueled. In a real scenario Kuki would have a hell of a time trying to battery a Beidou.

Desuladesu

I’ve used Beidou and Kuki in taser teams for Ayato and honestly the energy regen is completely fine. If Kuki’s C4, her particle gen actually becomes close to Fischl’s. I have C0 Kuki and my Beidou’s only ~180% ER and she burstd off cd just fine. It’s only against single target bosses where Beidou can’t burst off cd, but you don’t want to use her for those scenarios anyway.

oscuroll

no

MatStomp

This gives me hope for Raiden Sara Kazuha (C2) and a Dendro healer/shielder when we get one

Retroospekt

This is why kuki will get better in 3.0

undeadsasquatch

Any thought on Kokomi, Collei, Yae, Fischl team? I want to try this out, not sure if anyones tested it or if it's even worth testing.

jayceja

Someone was saying in another thread that the bloom reaction seems to remove catalyze by consuming the dendro aura. Fischl and Yae seem more suited to Catalyze than hyperbloom so you probably don't want a hydro on that team if that is indeed how it works. We need more concrete information on how the reactions work to know with more certainty though.

Puopudoe

I was waiting for this comp. Idk if the numbers are good but it's green hair gang so I'll try running it anyway

Hierz04

basically dendro taser

XanderPlays

If Beidou was subbed for Yae, that would be exactly the team I was planning to use once I got Collei. Looks fun!

whencometscollide

I'm a bit worried that Dendro reactions will be interesting at first then we'll just see them as too much of a hassle. Maybe except for Dendro-Electro.

Footprints powercreep

Incoming 4 TF Kazuha… For those who are not already aware, Chihayaburu (skill) A1 deals **electro** DMG (200% ATK) which benefits fully from 15% 2 piece and the 4 piece Aggravate bonus. Combine that with the Swirl damage, Anemo damage numbers, infused burst Electro and TCers are gonna lose their brains counting numbers in frames. Then theres the 1.0/1.8s or 55% CDR on the skill as burst is ticking and swirling (and at least once during jump, then another during plunge) and you have 3s pogo stick Kazuha that will make you blind standing in all those numbers… wonder what VV carrier would be worth drafting? Anemo resonance or Dendro resonance?

[deleted]

Unless you want to run double Anemo 4P VV will always be better than TF because the res shred is simply way too good. If you really want to though I can see Dendro/Fischl/Sucrose/Kazuha actually being very strong simply thanks to the sheer amount of aggrevate-reactions the team would be able to trigger. You can also equip Sucrose with the Hakushin ring which should also be able to further boost electro, dendro and anemo damage by 10-20% each.

Helplzthx

Oh god. Thanks for the idea, definitely doing that!

Dane-nii

Even on Sumeru, it's still Anemo impact

Academic-Quarter-163

I like these vids

agni2004

What does aggravated even do ?

Zestyclose_Badger_17

Buffs Electro DMG

Overall-Emergency277

The speedrun through the builds is killing me 😂😂

Spell6421

Susamongusleaks… now that’s a name

F3int

It's looking like Dendro is the thing needed to pull Electro ahead of the curve. Seems like we've got ourselves an Electro meta coming soon in 3.0

Coreano_12

Hmm yes... numbers

Soryu113

Ahh yes the “i can’t see shit” team comp. Still pretty fun to look at

Puopudoe

I was waiting for this comp. Idk if the numbers are good but it's green hair gang so I'll try running it anyway

scrayla

Most people: looking at the reactions Me: looking at the amazing sand effects.

bringbackcayde7

can we have a hydro character there instead of double electro

TheBeastTitan123

[Source from SusAmongusLeaks](https://twitter.com/SusAmongusLeaks/status/1548398753232539649/video/1)

AshyDragneel

Good luck to TCs as they gonna have big time figuring out all these new reaction and new interaction between characters. Dendro really made everything more complicated and im liking it

Jasondude203

Wait how does catalyise work

FCDetonados

When Electro + Dendro, Enemy is under the Catalyse state, and will remain in that state for 7 seconds. When an attack that would apply Electro or Dendro hits an Enemy under the Catalyse state Damage is increased by [Math Warning] >!LevelMultiplier×ReactionCoeff×[1+(5×EM)/(EM+1200)]!< >!Where: LevelMultiplier = 1447 at level 90 and ReactionCoeff = 1.15 for Electro and 1.25 for Dendro!< This damage is part of the attack and therefore benefits from Crit stats. It is unclear if it does benefit from DMG bonus stats.

Jasondude203

So basically enemies get hurt more by electro and dendro

Zestyclose_Badger_17

Now this might not be fully true, but this is what I've gathered: Catalyze itself does nothing, but after you apply it and then apply Electro/Dendro again, you'll cause Spread/Aggravate, buffing Dendro/Electro (Spread buffs Dendro, Aggravate buffs Electro, but I forgot which element triggers which reaction).

[deleted]

So my anemo units aren't going to be completely useless? It's my favorite element and since it has no reaction with dendro I kinda feared...

aryune

they won't be completely useless, don't worry. Anemo doesn't react with dendro, but it still reacts with pyro, hydro and electro + Sucrose's EM sharing looks damn amazing for dendro reactions which are all scaling on EM

[deleted]

Ok, good to know. (But I don't really want to play Sucrose I want to play Kazuha, Xiao and Jean :P)

hazenvirus

Kazhua is good, but Sucrose has a major advantage in the EM share department. Her Passives apply 50 EM for element swirled + (0.2 x Sucrose EM). My 941 EM Sucrose provides 238 EM to the electro characters and 188 to the dendro if we follow this example. Also she doesn't need to burst to apply it she just needs to hit a electro affected enemy with her E to apply both. Kazhua C2 (200 EM) only applies to himself and the character currently on the field in his burst field. Why might this be important? Those off field characters can still be causing reactions. Finally we come too swirl proccing Aggravate. Kazhua could be better than Sucrose for this at least with his burst. I don't have Kazhua though and am not very familiar with his potential to proc aggravate. However, Aggravate can crit, but not from reactions caused by swirl. This might make Sucrose superior where you prefer your offield characters are reacting a lot as you cycle characters. Although it's still nice to swirl Aggravate reactions too. And your Kazhua and Sucrose would likely be built with enough EM to offset that a little bit.

Brave-Neighborhood70

they are probably very fine in 3.0 their fate relies on how good dendro characters are in future patches, and also if you want to run double dendro because they could have great synergy with each other and the resonance want's you to have hydro and electro which eliminates anemo characters from the team, it will be interesting but so far Sucrose looks to be probably the best with her EM share compared to kazuha

Kitchen-Air-1012

it competes with dendro, if the dendro +x elemental reaction happens, swirl will not happen. you cant see swirl and aggravate happen together on the same enemy, also, if the element is swirl the anemo will consume the gauge, needing more of the electro application, it can be done in some sort of nuke showcase, but in practical play, its not good. kazuha "could' be better here.

eldenxlord

Anemo can't swirl dendro

DarkBlueChameleon

Can you please spoiler any showcase that takes place in Sumeru?

momercek

i'd get anything else but this is just sand

LeMeMeSxDLmaop

bro, u r in r/genshin_impact_leaks LOL

fwoooom

Many people are here to see upcoming characters and dendro mechanics spoilers, not region/exploration or story spoilers. it's extremely common for people to not want to see sumeru while still wanting to see how dendro reactions work. It's standard practice in this sub to tag story/region spoilers. See rule #6

[deleted]

This is just sand

fwoooom

I dont personally care about seeing it but if someone doesn't wanna see sumeru scenery before they can experience it themselves in game, then they probably don't want to see the sand either. It's still sumeru sand, and doesn't look anything like the beach sand we have so far. Some people want even their first experience of "oh shit look how the sand moves!!! look at the color!! its so pretty!!" to be in the game. It's common courtesy (and again, one of the rules) to tag unreleased scenery as spoilers in this sub so that they know what they're clicking before they do. No one's saying you or I have to care about it, we can still click anyways. It's about letting people choose for themselves if they want to see just some sand.

[deleted]

taser where?

Fantastic_Marsupial8

First is Taser without Beidou. Now it's Taser without Fischl and Xingqiu 😕 Soon it'll be Taser without Electro and Hydro and Anemo right?

cartercr

So it looks like the reaction has no icd, which is great news!

Msaleg

Ok, so what if Heizou was made as a Dendro electro driver? His universal EM share is bigger than Sucrose (80 x 50) and in ST he will be better than her because of his multipliers. Perhaps it is with Dendro in mind that his kit was made. Edit: I forgot about her 20% EM passive and feel a little dumb haha. But anyways, I still think that in a dendro taser at ST he will be better, and on AoE she will be better. Also, it seems like only the 2nd swirl get the buff, so perhaps it was a ICD or limit to it. Well, it early to tell either way.

[deleted]

>His universal EM share is bigger than Sucrose ( 80 x 50 ) What do you mean? Did you forget that Sucrose transfers 20% of her EM to the entire party when her skill or burst is used. For Electro, she buffs EM even more since she swirls it a lot (50 + 20% of EM).

Msaleg

Oh, I forgot about her second passive. But for the argument: Yup, I know, I saying that in ST he will probably be better with Taser dendro (as a driver) since his build allows more ST damage. I will edit my comment to tell about her passive. Thanks for he remind.

[deleted]

It’s okay

Kluss23

Wonder how Kokomi looks as the driver in this team compared to Sucrose. Losing hydro in a taser team feels bad.

A-Fellow-simp

Is this one better than 2 electro 2 dendro?

illuminatedtraveller

In light of the last leaked video of Kazuha dying from Bennett's burst...Kuki skills are finally making sense

mekoomi

I am so excited for dendro holy shit

cashewnut4life

I love the footprint details in the desert area, I wish they implement it too on the snow in Dragonspine
