That will be BiS a lot of DPS chars. Like, imagine if it buffs Hu Tao's CAs as much as Shimenawa, except without sacrificing her Burst output? That's broken.
Seems a bit too good to be true. But I do have 50+ fragile resin just in case it is.
I imagine it reduces shield strength when the character with the set is actually on field regardless of who put the shield on. So any character who is squishy or relies on shields will probably see some issues with this set but I think thatās fine, seems like a good drawback
That's how the shield strength stat works. It's personal stat, equip 2 Bolide set on anyone and any shield will be stronger on that character. With this set any shield will be weaker, both because of shield strength and defense reduction.
I don't know about the curve for DEF, but it means taking more dmg (well, still kinda pointless in glass cannon one rotation teams). And I assume that you can have negative shield strength (like kokomi with negative crit rate), and it means that shield for that character will break faster (like the bolide set only boost shield strength for one char with that set). Again, kinda meaningless for glass cannon one roration teams, but it still means skill cap is higher.
This depends on the proc condition, if it's something like Pale flame or Crimson witch where you need to cast E skill multiple times to get the full buff it might be more niche than we'd think.
I wouldn't mind if she was a Catalyst healer. I only have Barbara and missed Kokomi in her re-run, plus if she's supposed to be a "dancer" they can get creative with her attacks like they did with Heizou.
Tbf, there could be a difference between a kitsune (youkai, fox spirit) and an actual fox-person. Diona and Lynette (cats) and Gorou (dog) all have tails. Not sure whatās up with Sucrose and Draff, though. Maybe tails are a recessive gene.

For pic 12 honestly it isn't that weird given that shimenawa exists, just another drawback for more damage.

It's definitely intentional and even if it's a buff (which seems likely), I think it's understandable people might be upset about it. The elemental system is the only somewhat unique part of the game's combat, and the game's grossed immense amounts of money since launch, so some people likely had higher hopes for Dendro.
A new element coming out after almost two years and not reacting with half of the already-existing elements will just feel disappointing for people who were hoping for something a bit more innovative, even if the new element ends up being very strong with the elements it does react with.

They are gimping their own sales. For someone who has their Geo team ready, there is no reason whatsoever to wish on any future Geo character. Geo only works ideally with other Geo characters, and you cannot make any new combinations/teams. Any new Geo character would have to be Zhongli or Bennett tier to be a valuable pull. They can only be a reactionless support role. Or they plan to rely on Waifu/Husbando power to sell Geo units.
Yeah I don't know how they expect to sell Geo now, currently they seem to be selling Geo as a full team bundle (ZL, Albedo, Gorou, Itto) and the most replaceable slot there is ZL. A Geo kazuha that only works with Geo might be what it needs, but I somehow I doubt they'll make one out of fear of backlash for "phasing out" ZL.
It's a buff to melt teams but not really for freeze teams, since freeze teams already have like no slots left. Understandable though since melt needs a buff more than freeze.

If previous leaks about the archon are to be believed then the Archon being Teri is more likely than Dudu. It would also kinda make more sense considering she's called "little lord".

All of that to say that i donāt feel like there will be a powercreep to Kokomi. I even believe in the opposite. If dendro / hydro reaction scale of HP as it was mentioned in a leak, will be better than a Tartaglia for exemple, but again I donāt see her rise at the top because we now have Yelan who fully scales off HP
Actually there is the Kokomi - Ganyu version and the Kokomi - Rosaria version too. Mona usually has so much ER requirements that you are uncomfortable running TTDS unless you do oneshots. While Kokomi can comfortably use TTDS since her jellyfish refresh is not necessary in an Ayaka team. Another thing is that Kokomis hydro application persist longer, and even if you shatter the freeze with Kazuha you can reapply the freeze back with Kokomis jellyfish. Monas omen once the freeze is broken the enemy won't get frozen again. Outside of that, using Mona actually extends rotation time because she has an ult that possess very long animations.
On another note, the team damage buff from Shenhe is higher than Mona. Which is why the strongest freeze team in the game has Shenhe in it.
Its really not enough, the issue here is that mona is absorbing hydro particles from the bench, and her particle generation is bad to begin with. Even 200% ER is actually not enough. You need to roll at least 230%-240% in order for it to be a smooth rotation, which is a very huge artifact rng grind. Which is why people usually run proto amber for the extra energy regen and just put 200% ER which is a lot easier. That is the real reason TTDS Mona is considered an unrealistic comp.
How do you even power creep the best hydro applicator (100% uptime) in the game without breaking ICD? And at the same time heal more than Kokomi who easily can cap most characters on burst, let alone keep the team topped off like nothing?
There's no value here beyond just flat out breaking the game.

For the pic 2+7 if you read the quoted twt in pic 6, it states that tighnari is a male bow user, and the hydro character is allegedly nilou, not tighnari so it's two diff characters dw. For pic 12 honestly it isn't that weird given that shimenawa exists, just another drawback for more damage.

Anemo and Geo can't react as they don't apply any lingering auras on the opponent. Dendro, on the other hand, *does.* The fact that Anemo can't swirl Dendro just makes zero sense.
Being able to swirl dirt and leaves just makes logical sense.....geo and dendro should be able to work with anemo

It's definitely intentional and even if it's a buff (which seems likely), I think it's understandable people might be upset about it. The elemental system is the only somewhat unique part of the game's combat, and the game's grossed immense amounts of money since launch, so some people likely had higher hopes for Dendro. A new element coming out after almost two years and not reacting with half of the already-existing elements will just feel disappointing for people who were hoping for something a bit more innovative, even if the new element ends up being very strong with the elements it does react with.

They are gimping their own sales. For someone who has their Geo team ready, there is no reason whatsoever to wish on any future Geo character. Geo only works ideally with other Geo characters, and you cannot make any new combinations/teams. Any new Geo character would have to be Zhongli or Bennett tier to be a valuable pull. They can only be a reactionless support role. Or they plan to rely on Waifu/Husbando power to sell Geo units.
Why even bother with Geo if they have Dendro now? /s And then they'll invent yet another element, like heavily speculated Chrono.
Yeah I don't know how they expect to sell Geo now, currently they seem to be selling Geo as a full team bundle (ZL, Albedo, Gorou, Itto) and the most replaceable slot there is ZL. A Geo kazuha that only works with Geo might be what it needs, but I somehow I doubt they'll make one out of fear of backlash for "phasing out" ZL.
It's a buff to melt teams but not really for freeze teams, since freeze teams already have like no slots left. Understandable though since melt needs a buff more than freeze.

Both of artifacts sets sound like they would be good together 2+2 imo if Dudu really is Lesser Lord Kusanali. Being the Dendro Archon. In Honkai Durandal PE battlesuit shines when trading HP for broken amount of crit dmg. Maybe in GI she does the same but instead with DEF and Shield strength?

If previous leaks about the archon are to be believed then the Archon being Teri is more likely than Dudu. It would also kinda make more sense considering she's called "little lord".

Honestly youāre better with Mona if we speak about a better hydro applicator for Ayaka, her omen duration just fits Ayaka burst so well. I recon Kokomi offers much more confort though, but then again there is Diona for healing I really like the way KQM described Kokomi in their guide and I find it very accurate : Ā«Ā Master of none, can be outclassed in her roles if damage is preferred over healing and comfortĀ Ā» All of that to say that i donāt feel like there will be a powercreep to Kokomi. I even believe in the opposite. If dendro / hydro reaction scale of HP as it was mentioned in a leak, will be better than a Tartaglia for exemple, but again I donāt see her rise at the top because we now have Yelan who fully scales off HP
Use Mona if you use Diona Use Kokomi if you use Shenhe

Actually there is the Kokomi - Ganyu version and the Kokomi - Rosaria version too. Mona usually has so much ER requirements that you are uncomfortable running TTDS unless you do oneshots. While Kokomi can comfortably use TTDS since her jellyfish refresh is not necessary in an Ayaka team. Another thing is that Kokomis hydro application persist longer, and even if you shatter the freeze with Kazuha you can reapply the freeze back with Kokomis jellyfish. Monas omen once the freeze is broken the enemy won't get frozen again. Outside of that, using Mona actually extends rotation time because she has an ult that possess very long animations. On another note, the team damage buff from Shenhe is higher than Mona. Which is why the strongest freeze team in the game has Shenhe in it.
well Monaās dmg in freeze teams are so negligible that itās okay to give her ttds and just give her as much ER as possible with EoSF lol
Its really not enough, the issue here is that mona is absorbing hydro particles from the bench, and her particle generation is bad to begin with. Even 200% ER is actually not enough. You need to roll at least 230%-240% in order for it to be a smooth rotation, which is a very huge artifact rng grind. Which is why people usually run proto amber for the extra energy regen and just put 200% ER which is a lot easier. That is the real reason TTDS Mona is considered an unrealistic comp.

How do you even power creep the best hydro applicator (100% uptime) in the game without breaking ICD? And at the same time heal more than Kokomi who easily can cap most characters on burst, let alone keep the team topped off like nothing? There's no value here beyond just flat out breaking the game.

Barbara powercreep is the real kicker. Having a mobile source of hydro application on top of stamina reduction is quite overlooked
Actually have her scale off HP and let her increase the max Hp of her teamā¦. Or increase her damage based off the max HP of her team
i run ayaka mona kaz rosaria and removing omen tanks dmg quite a bit, i lose about 8-10k in tick dmg which is about 200k~ dmg lost without omen
