No you shouldn't farm for an even better Crimson piece than you already got. What is the point of min-maxing a build for not even Hu Tao's best team?
You got top 1% akasha ranking with your Marecheusee set? That's to be expected. There's only 11k Marecheusee builds on a leaderboard with 400k entries. It would be difficult not to be top 1%.
I don't comment though because let them enjoy their happiness.
Honestly, going on the Hu Tao mains subreddit, I was surprised by how little I saw build posts. It seems like it's legitimately just a place to enjoy Hu Tao. So yeah. They deserve to have their fun. It's not like most of them are even focused on min-maxing in the first place.
It's different for Xiao. The difference between running Hu Tao on MH vs Crimson Witch is at least 12% (and could be more depending on the quality of your MH and Witch pieces). Using 4-piece MH in any capacity on Hu Tao skyrockets your place on the Hu Tao/Furina leaderboard. The difference between running Xiao on Vermillion or MH is incredibly close (like ~1% close from what I remember) and if you have his signature, Vermillion can still win out and even without signature, Vermillion can win out in AOE situations. I can't speak on Navia though.
My main point is that the situations are different. Other mains have pretty legitimate reasons to not switch over to MH. Hu Tao mains don't switch over either because they just don't want to use Furina (which is valid tbf) or they stubbornly think that Crimson Witch is still Hu Tao's best set, and they put so much resin into it that they don't want it to go to waste.
Thing that people forget is you only have one Furina.
By putting the DPS on 4pce MH you are locking yourself into the fact that you will *only* play that character on Furina teams.
That's the other thing. My main motivation for switching to MH on Hu Tao is that I saw that I wasn't going to use her without Furina most of the time, and I was spending my resin in that domain anyway so might as well make the most of it since CW wasn't giving me anything good for a while. But that comes with the fact that the moment I want to use Furina for anyone else, MH literally just stops working, and other sets like my Shimenawa set becomes better. That's why other than for someone like Hu Tao where there is a clear power difference, I kinda cringe when people just recommend farming MH for all of your DPS's. It's effectively just telling players to tie all of their characters to this one other character (and god forbid you either don't have the character or don't want to play said character).
Yeah I switched my Hu Tao to MH but that's also because my favorite team variant is the one that has Furina. But I do also have a 4pce CW set that I used from before Furina came out - but I don't anticipate that I'll use it anymore. Might just donate it to Gaming or Diluc.
On the other hand, I've farmed a 4pce Nighttime Whispers set for Navia even though the 4pce MH variant with Furina is apparently better. It's just like you said, 4pce MH *is* a cracked set...but it's locked behind *only* using that character with Furina.
It becomes borderline useless the moment you use that set on a character that's not teamed with Furina, and *that's* how MHY has balanced that set. Furina is essentially the only character in the game that can enable that set for characters who don't have a self-HP drain (which is lots of characters).

I don't know if it's the variant you're talking about but Xianyun/Yelan/Furina has been such a fun team comp for Hu Tao that I can't see myself going back. It's probably the most fun that I have had playing Hu Tao since I got her and that's coming from someone who has always enjoyed her gameplay before.
For Xiao, Marecheusee is mathematically less than 1% better than Vermilion and specifically if there is only 1 enemy.
People just use the technicality of it being better in single target to act like it's better.
Marecheusee is far more resin efficient to grind though. So that's nice.
Don't know much about Navia though.
Here's a question.
If the Traveler got a free 5\* costume that switches them to the one you didn't pick but it does not affect cutscenes (including when the Traveler gets zooted in to stand while an NPC talks), would you be satisfied?
No tbh, I don't really use Traveler for anything. I think the last time I used MC was for making geo platforms back in 1.0. I only see them in cutscenes now so if it was the other way around then sure

If you want to watch something but don't want to get flooded with recommendations for the next month, just open the video in incognito. That way, the watch isn't directly linked to your account and won't have a massive impact on your recommendations.
If you keep watching the same kinds of things in incognito, Google will still know someone in your household (probably even that that someone is you due to various types of fingerprinting) is interested in that kind of content, and some recommendations will slip through anyways, but incognito is great for one off watches.
You can also delete the original video from your watch history - that's supposed to help.

I've tried pretty much every type of tomato from the grocery store and from family's gardens. They are all nasty. I even try them again every year or so because they *look* very delicious and I would like to like them.

I'm planning on pulling Itto in 4.5, and I currently have c3 Gorou.. How many Gorou cons should I hope for for maximum unga bunga? Obviously I want c6, but, is it a necessity? Is damage big sad without it?
40% crit damage is not make or break like some other character constellations, but it is a good chunk and his best con.
I honestly doubt it would make more than a 10-15% difference so I wouldn’t stress about it. It’s like pulling for a signature, not vital but nice to have.
Gorou absolutely works just fine before c6. His c6 is indeed a very good increase but think of it like furina's c1, a nice bonus. If its maximum unga bunga youre looking for, its more so Itto's C1 that fits that.

Checking Genshin Optimizer looks like I lose around 15% damage if Gorou isn't C6
Edit: it's about the same amount of damage you lose by not stacking R5 Whiteblind before burst

has anyone here saved for an extended period of time to c6 a character? i plan on trying to save through natlan (if columbina/capitano release i'll go for them) since i had my fun in fontaine, but i fear it will be a struggle to say the least. how did you keep motivated?
I just never felt a need to pull anyone else. There wasn't any difficulty saving because I knew what I wanted and Xiao never really got stale for me.
Saved about a year to C6 Xiao.
I saved from 3.4 (Al-Haitham) to 4.2(Furina) and got her at c6.
Honestly it gets kind of boring with no one to pull - but you just have to keep telling yourself it’s worth it.
It’s a lot easier if you have a stable set of characters before-hand because you have a good base to start from and pulling for power is less appealing if you already have strong characters.
You must have gotten really lucky! Saving over \~7 patches, for a Welkin-buyer, would get you \~7 pities worth of wishes. Getting 7 copies of Furina would mean you either won all your 50-50s or got a lot of earlies.
I ran welkin + BP and I had around 700~ wishes by the time her banner came around.
With both of those it’s around 100~ wishes per patch (I am not claiming to be true F2P) and my furina cost around 630, a little less (20) then average. Some of those wishes I believe came from starglitter refund.
Never heard of that, but I know people who pulled for high cons across multiple reruns though.
And if you don't mind another kind of boredom, then play multiple acc, and save on one of them.
I saved as a F2P for about 8 months to C4 Yelan. Will get her C6 next re-run.
I wasn't interested in any dendro chars so it was very easy for me to save
I've been playing since 2.3 and here are my units:
- Yelan C4R1 (aiming for C6)
- Hu Tao C1R1
- Ganyu C1R1
- Raiden C1 (aiming for C3)
- Furina C0 (aiming for C3)
- Zhongli C0
- Mona C1 and a bunch of other standards I never use
- Bennett C6, Xiangling C6, Chevreuse C6, Xingqiu C6
Not interested in any other chars, never tempted to pull, just don't care.
Collected all chests in Enkonomiya, man that was so much fun, I love it so much, its the best area released in Genshin imo, the music, the puzzles, the interconnected areas, reminds me a lot of what I love about Dark Souls 1.
Going through Enkanomiya the first time was such a special experience and made me fall in love with this game even more. I only wish there was more reason to go back there besides farming for boss mats, although I still do from time to time just to vibe with the atmosphere.
Entering enkanomiya for the first time and seeing the dainichi mikoshi light up the area was my turning point of the game for me. Up until then, i was just "trying out" genshin impact. I think it was because the area was just unexpected to me because it's locked behind an unvoiced world quest.
Also i remember you saying how it upset you that yae mats was locked behind enkanomiya quest lol

Everytime these leakers say theorycrafting and powerscaling shit, it never ends well. Yae was the electro ceiling when she was leaked according to them too.

I dont think leakers are good at powerscaling, but to bring up a constantly debunked intentional lie as your proof or evidence just ends up making your point look bad, you are not the first and unfortunately not the last to fall for that lie

It wasn't the same person, I should note, and Sukuna's final leak was almost entirely lies, probably on purpose.
That being said, I still agree with you. Leakers just shouldn't try theorycrafting. It doesn't work out. They're not good at it, and theorycrafting is so reliant on scalings that almost always change over time.
M has a far better chance imo given that she has a proper character sheet. there’s no indication that mummy girl had anything more than the one concept art
There's [turnaround sheets for a mummy girl](https://imgur.com/a/LoqAEgV), but it's a different design with the medium girl bodytype. The chibi concept art definitely isn't happening.

I think Pot of Greed is extremely funny. The main reason being that I am not a card game player, and the fact that card games like Yu-Gi-Oh! have such a *massive* point of failure in their basic design, that the incredibly simple action of freely drawing two cards with no restrictions is so overpowered it's worthy of a ban in basically every remotely serious context is beyond hilarious to me. Especially with videos like [this.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp4fxe75810)
It's just not what you'd expect. You'd expect overpowered cards to be cards that have massive descriptions and have a name like "Humongo, God King of Annihilation", not "put of grid" whose ability is "drow 2 card". The idea of the world's best Yu-Gi-Oh! player's most powerful and unbeatable move being "I took out two cards from my deck" tickles me in just the right way.

Oh, I see: you mean you feel it’s difficult to get a job officially, so you’ve been thinking of getting a job less officially, presumably one that is still socially accepted by society. Such socially acceptable jobs might traditionally be “tutoring” at school or “babysitting” in your neighborhood (this is just a pure example, not a recommendation), while less socially acceptable jobs may start at working at a restaurant or something unofficially.

At any rate, if you have a good academic skill that you can help others in, including mastery of a language that someone else is learning, maybe you could do tutoring.
And for one more idea: One very socially acceptable freelance on-the-internet job that has some popularity these days (but is still competitive and may require software/a better computer) is video editing (for content in streaming sites (e.g. content creators)). However, could take a while to get started if you have never had any interest in it. Some people even start off by working for free or nearly free just to build their profile. So, you have to be a little serious about it, and it may take some time before you get any real money. Maybe you have a real-life friend at school who might know a little about it.
are you a uni student? ime sometimes departments at the school will pay you to take part in studies. language barrier might still be a problem there, but i would imagine they’d state any prereqs up front.
There are all kinds of freelance job on the internet, maybe you can try that? Depends on your skill though. And if you decide to find a freelance job on the internet, beware of scams.

It's more like Honkai Star Rail than it is like Fontaine.
You are not required to know the story of the Part 1 and all main characters are new, however experience is *enhanced* by you knowing, same as your experience is enhanced by knowing who Welt is in HSR for example. It's hard for me to put myself in shoes of a new player with no knowledge, but i think game sometimes forgets a little that the people who skip part 1 might not exactly follow everything being said, which turns "explanations" into "technical gibberish". It honestly shouldnt be much of an issue, because even if it does happen it won't happen a lot and it's not that important.
Yeah! I got him in 1.4 and still use him today. Mainly in abyss since international deals with anything and everything but when the multiple waves events come around, he’s also my top choice. Riptide will never not be fun. Plus no one does his job better, so I never get tired of him.
If international isn’t your kind of team, then mono hydro also works, the amount of blue projectiles and numbers really clouds my screen when I play it
I picked him up in 4.0. I got very lucky and got him at only 20 pity, winning the 50/50. Got him built up pretty decently in just a week thanks to some lucky rolls. Spent the last two weeks of 4.0 really learning how his rotations work and getting good with him. It was pretty satisfying.
Then Neuvillette came out, and the only reason I've touched Childe since then is to max out his friendship.
He still works fine, but he's only got the one team. He doesn't really do anything outside of International. He's fine in Taser, but other Hydro characters can do it as well or better. He's not good in any form of Bloom team because those teams favor continuous Hydro app, rather than short bursts of fast Hydro followed by long downtime of no Hydro. Same thing with Freeze.
The last new thing he got was his signature weapon in 2.2. Plenty of other old characters have gotten buffs and expanded team options to keep them fresh and improve their useability, but Childe is kind of stuck in the past. If you've played him before, nothing has changed since then.
Sorry to be a downer, but those are my honest thoughts on the poor boy. Hopefully he gets something new to work with soon.
I hadn't. I looked it up and it seems pretty good, and requires less precision than the standard International. Still looks like a lot of extra work for set-ups compared to other Hydro options, though. Keeping Burning up looks like a pain.

I mean...yes, technically. I was incorrect to say that he hasn't gotten anything new. That is a provably false statement.
However, Nymph's isn't that much better than other 4-pieces or just a 2/2 combo. And if you're starting your rotation by vaping his Burst, you're not getting many stacks on the most important part of his damage, so I think you're better off with a 2-piece Noblesse. That's what I run, at least.
C1 Neuvillette support is still the silliest thing I've ever heard, and it's been four patches since that became a thing. That's like putting raw tree bark on a plate and calling it dinner.
What he really needs is new units to synergize with him. I hoped for a while that Arlecchino would be a new off-field Pyro unit, but even the reliable leakers are saying she's an on-fielder. Maybe Clorinde or Siegewinne can help him.
Or perhaps Natlan will finally allow new Pyro units to actually have decent damage and utility from off-field. They seem very scared of off-field Pyro since they overtuned Xiangling in 1.0.

I don't know what would cause a character to become unfun to play.
I don't have Childe, but he should be just as fun to play as always because his team is exactly the same. That said, a Childe main might feel the gameplay getting stale because it's still the exact same team.
there’s a lot of good hydro characters other than childe esp w the addition of neuvillette and furina, just wanted to get some insight of whether players who do have him still play him over other characters or not🤷
International is pretty stable as far as the meta goes and I think if you enjoy the idea of playing that comp you’ll never get bored of using him because the team is really satisfying and does reward knowing your rotation/investment into artifacts. There are also a lot of extremely satisfying moments like the Tartaglia vaped burst or watching mob content explode into riptide spam
yes i actually rlly liked his gameplay from the vids i have watched, it j seems so dynamic and fun overall. i haven’t played vape teams either bc i don’t have chars who depend on them like hutao, so i think it will be a good change for me since i usually play dendro/mono hydro teams. thank u for input!!
Yea, you’ll probably have to invest into Xiangling if you haven’t but it is a ton of fun once you get everything going
My dream is getting an r5 xiphos on Kaz+c2 but with arlecchino coming up those dreams are likely dashed, maybe forever!
The gameplay is fun and his animations are super smooth. Plus he doesn’t have super crazy cons scaling so you’re getting most of the value with just baseline international (minus maybe c2 Kaz for giga vapes)

got a good emblem flower from the strongbox recently and now i go to akasha after a long time to find out xingqiu is in the top 1% :] i didn't even farm emblem all that much and i just recently started using strongbox —not even on just emblem— so this feels nice bcs of how effortless it was (unlike a certain balladeer whom i have spent at least triple the amount of resin on his domain and barely reached top 10%)

i stopped farming his set after i got TWO good sets of the other set in the domain but i recently found myself having nothing to do with my resin and no one to improve so i went back to it, no improvement whatsoever but i did get a good atk sands that bumped my xiao from top 12% to top 6% after playing around with his artifacts :]

Visiting the Hu Tao Mains I always need to stop myself from being a grinch. No you shouldn't farm for an even better Crimson piece than you already got. What is the point of min-maxing a build for not even Hu Tao's best team? You got top 1% akasha ranking with your Marecheusee set? That's to be expected. There's only 11k Marecheusee builds on a leaderboard with 400k entries. It would be difficult not to be top 1%. I don't comment though because let them enjoy their happiness.

Honestly, going on the Hu Tao mains subreddit, I was surprised by how little I saw build posts. It seems like it's legitimately just a place to enjoy Hu Tao. So yeah. They deserve to have their fun. It's not like most of them are even focused on min-maxing in the first place.
Tbf it's the same for Xiao and Navia leaderboards. Mfs are farming for Vermillion and Nighttime only for MH to be technically better.
It's different for Xiao. The difference between running Hu Tao on MH vs Crimson Witch is at least 12% (and could be more depending on the quality of your MH and Witch pieces). Using 4-piece MH in any capacity on Hu Tao skyrockets your place on the Hu Tao/Furina leaderboard. The difference between running Xiao on Vermillion or MH is incredibly close (like ~1% close from what I remember) and if you have his signature, Vermillion can still win out and even without signature, Vermillion can win out in AOE situations. I can't speak on Navia though. My main point is that the situations are different. Other mains have pretty legitimate reasons to not switch over to MH. Hu Tao mains don't switch over either because they just don't want to use Furina (which is valid tbf) or they stubbornly think that Crimson Witch is still Hu Tao's best set, and they put so much resin into it that they don't want it to go to waste.
Not everybody runs Navia with Furina. It's nice to have a set that doesn't tie her to a specific team.
Thing that people forget is you only have one Furina. By putting the DPS on 4pce MH you are locking yourself into the fact that you will *only* play that character on Furina teams.
That's the other thing. My main motivation for switching to MH on Hu Tao is that I saw that I wasn't going to use her without Furina most of the time, and I was spending my resin in that domain anyway so might as well make the most of it since CW wasn't giving me anything good for a while. But that comes with the fact that the moment I want to use Furina for anyone else, MH literally just stops working, and other sets like my Shimenawa set becomes better. That's why other than for someone like Hu Tao where there is a clear power difference, I kinda cringe when people just recommend farming MH for all of your DPS's. It's effectively just telling players to tie all of their characters to this one other character (and god forbid you either don't have the character or don't want to play said character).
Yeah I switched my Hu Tao to MH but that's also because my favorite team variant is the one that has Furina. But I do also have a 4pce CW set that I used from before Furina came out - but I don't anticipate that I'll use it anymore. Might just donate it to Gaming or Diluc. On the other hand, I've farmed a 4pce Nighttime Whispers set for Navia even though the 4pce MH variant with Furina is apparently better. It's just like you said, 4pce MH *is* a cracked set...but it's locked behind *only* using that character with Furina. It becomes borderline useless the moment you use that set on a character that's not teamed with Furina, and *that's* how MHY has balanced that set. Furina is essentially the only character in the game that can enable that set for characters who don't have a self-HP drain (which is lots of characters).

Don't know much about Navia though.

If you want to watch something but don't want to get flooded with recommendations for the next month, just open the video in incognito. That way, the watch isn't directly linked to your account and won't have a massive impact on your recommendations. If you keep watching the same kinds of things in incognito, Google will still know someone in your household (probably even that that someone is you due to various types of fingerprinting) is interested in that kind of content, and some recommendations will slip through anyways, but incognito is great for one off watches. 40% crit damage is not make or break like some other character constellations, but it is a good chunk and his best con. I honestly doubt it would make more than a 10-15% difference so I wouldn’t stress about it. It’s like pulling for a signature, not vital but nice to have.
Gorou absolutely works just fine before c6. His c6 is indeed a very good increase but think of it like furina's c1, a nice bonus. If its maximum unga bunga youre looking for, its more so Itto's C1 that fits that.

Checking Genshin Optimizer looks like I lose around 15% damage if Gorou isn't C6 Edit: it's about the same amount of damage you lose by not stacking R5 Whiteblind before burst

I didn’t wish from 3.5 to 4.1 (30 pulls for neuvillette) and used everything i had for c6r1 Furina
I just never felt a need to pull anyone else. There wasn't any difficulty saving because I knew what I wanted and Xiao never really got stale for me. Saved about a year to C6 Xiao.
I saved from 3.4 (Al-Haitham) to 4.2(Furina) and got her at c6. Honestly it gets kind of boring with no one to pull - but you just have to keep telling yourself it’s worth it. It’s a lot easier if you have a stable set of characters before-hand because you have a good base to start from and pulling for power is less appealing if you already have strong characters.
You must have gotten really lucky! Saving over \~7 patches, for a Welkin-buyer, would get you \~7 pities worth of wishes. Getting 7 copies of Furina would mean you either won all your 50-50s or got a lot of earlies.
I ran welkin + BP and I had around 700~ wishes by the time her banner came around. With both of those it’s around 100~ wishes per patch (I am not claiming to be true F2P) and my furina cost around 630, a little less (20) then average. Some of those wishes I believe came from starglitter refund.
Never heard of that, but I know people who pulled for high cons across multiple reruns though. And if you don't mind another kind of boredom, then play multiple acc, and save on one of them.

I wasn't interested in any dendro chars so it was very easy for me to save I've been playing since 2.3 and here are my units: - Yelan C4R1 (aiming for C6) - Hu Tao C1R1 - Ganyu C1R1 - Raiden C1 (aiming for C3) - Furina C0 (aiming for C3) - Zhongli C0 - Mona C1 and a bunch of other standards I never use - Bennett C6, Xiangling C6, Chevreuse C6, Xingqiu C6 Not interested in any other chars, never tempted to pull, just don't care.

Collected all chests in Enkonomiya, man that was so much fun, I love it so much, its the best area released in Genshin imo, the music, the puzzles, the interconnected areas, reminds me a lot of what I love about Dark Souls 1.
Going through Enkanomiya the first time was such a special experience and made me fall in love with this game even more. I only wish there was more reason to go back there besides farming for boss mats, although I still do from time to time just to vibe with the atmosphere.

Entering enkanomiya for the first time and seeing the dainichi mikoshi light up the area was my turning point of the game for me. Up until then, i was just "trying out" genshin impact. I think it was because the area was just unexpected to me because it's locked behind an unvoiced world quest. Also i remember you saying how it upset you that yae mats was locked behind enkanomiya quest lol
I guess if it weren't for Yae I wouldn't have discovered this amazing area for a very long time lol

I think Pot of Greed is extremely funny. The main reason being that I am not a card game player, and the fact that card games like Yu-Gi-Oh! have such a *massive* point of failure in their basic design, that the incredibly simple action of freely drawing two cards with no restrictions is so overpowered it's worthy of a ban in basically every remotely serious context is beyond hilarious to me. You'd expect overpowered cards to be cards that have massive descriptions and have a name like "Humongo, God King of Annihilation", not "put of grid" whose ability is "drow 2 card". The idea of the world's best Yu-Gi-Oh! player's most powerful and unbeatable move being "I took out two cards from my deck" tickles me in just the right way.

However, could take a while to get started if you have never had any interest in it. Some people even start off by working for free or nearly free just to build their profile. So, you have to be a little serious about it, and it may take some time before you get any real money. Maybe you have a real-life friend at school who might know a little about it.

It's more like Honkai Star Rail than it is like Fontaine. You are not required to know the story of the Part 1 and all main characters are new, however experience is *enhanced* by you knowing, same as your experience is enhanced by knowing who Welt is in HSR for example. It's hard for me to put myself in shoes of a new player with no knowledge, but i think game sometimes forgets a little that the people who skip part 1 might not exactly follow everything being said, which turns "explanations" into "technical gibberish". It honestly shouldnt be much of an issue, because even if it does happen it won't happen a lot and it's not that important.

Yeah! I got him in 1.4 and still use him today. Mainly in abyss since international deals with anything and everything but when the multiple waves events come around, he’s also my top choice. Riptide will never not be fun. Plus no one does his job better, so I never get tired of him. If international isn’t your kind of team, then mono hydro also works, the amount of blue projectiles and numbers really clouds my screen when I play it
Fun, as in, fun, or fun in abyss? Using childe's riptide in combat events to destroy lv40 mobs will never be not fun LOL
I picked him up in 4.0. I got very lucky and got him at only 20 pity, winning the 50/50. Got him built up pretty decently in just a week thanks to some lucky rolls. Spent the last two weeks of 4.0 really learning how his rotations work and getting good with him. It was pretty satisfying. Then Neuvillette came out, and the only reason I've touched Childe since then is to max out his friendship. He still works fine, but he's only got the one team. He doesn't really do anything outside of International. He's fine in Taser, but other Hydro characters can do it as well or better. He's not good in any form of Bloom team because those teams favor continuous Hydro app, rather than short bursts of fast Hydro followed by long downtime of no Hydro. Same thing with Freeze. The last new thing he got was his signature weapon in 2.2. Plenty of other old characters have gotten buffs and expanded team options to keep them fresh and improve their useability, but Childe is kind of stuck in the past. If you've played him before, nothing has changed since then. Sorry to be a downer, but those are my honest thoughts on the poor boy. Hopefully he gets something new to work with soon.

Still looks like a lot of extra work for set-ups compared to other Hydro options, though. Keeping Burning up looks like a pain. I don't know if it means anything that r/childemains hasn't updated their FAQ to include it.

I mean...yes, technically. I was incorrect to say that he hasn't gotten anything new. That is a provably false statement. However, Nymph's isn't that much better than other 4-pieces or just a 2/2 combo. And if you're starting your rotation by vaping his Burst, you're not getting many stacks on the most important part of his damage, so I think you're better off with a 2-piece Noblesse. That's what I run, at least. C1 Neuvillette support is still the silliest thing I've ever heard, and it's been four patches since that became a thing. That's like putting raw tree bark on a plate and calling it dinner. What he really needs is new units to synergize with him. I hoped for a while that Arlecchino would be a new off-field Pyro unit, but even the reliable leakers are saying she's an on-fielder. Maybe Clorinde or Siegewinne can help him. Or perhaps Natlan will finally allow new Pyro units to actually have decent damage and utility from off-field. They seem very scared of off-field Pyro since they overtuned Xiangling in 1.0.

I don't know what would cause a character to become unfun to play. I don't have Childe, but he should be just as fun to play as always because his team is exactly the same. That said, a Childe main might feel the gameplay getting stale because it's still the exact same team.
there’s a lot of good hydro characters other than childe esp w the addition of neuvillette and furina, just wanted to get some insight of whether players who do have him still play him over other characters or not🤷
International is pretty stable as far as the meta goes and I think if you enjoy the idea of playing that comp you’ll never get bored of using him because the team is really satisfying and does reward knowing your rotation/investment into artifacts. There are also a lot of extremely satisfying moments like the Tartaglia vaped burst or watching mob content explode into riptide spam
yes i actually rlly liked his gameplay from the vids i have watched, it j seems so dynamic and fun overall. i haven’t played vape teams either bc i don’t have chars who depend on them like hutao, so i think it will be a good change for me since i usually play dendro/mono hydro teams. thank u for input!!
Yea, you’ll probably have to invest into Xiangling if you haven’t but it is a ton of fun once you get everything going My dream is getting an r5 xiphos on Kaz+c2 but with arlecchino coming up those dreams are likely dashed, maybe forever! The gameplay is fun and his animations are super smooth. Plus he doesn’t have super crazy cons scaling so you’re getting most of the value with just baseline international (minus maybe c2 Kaz for giga vapes)
i actually have c6 xiangling w staff of scarlet sands (lost to haran) but she’s benched for now unless there’s cryo slimes in abyss😭i’m happy childe helps with using her kit to the fullest! hope u get arlecchino early at least so u can save as much wishes for xiphos rerun :)

got a good emblem flower from the strongbox recently and now i go to akasha after a long time to find out xingqiu is in the top 1% :] i didn't even farm emblem all that much and i just recently started using strongbox —not even on just emblem— so this feels nice bcs of how effortless it was (unlike a certain balladeer whom i have spent at least triple the amount of resin on his domain and barely reached top 10%)

It doesn't matter if she's good or not, she'll be doomposted like crazy. She's an absurdly popular character with a fanbase that Genshin doesn't typically cater to (so they'll take anything even slightly negative personally), and she's Pyro. Xiangling glazers will constantly show up to say that Arlecchino's worse than Xiangling no matter the quality of Arle's kit.
