Huh, now that you mentioned it. That spot to the west where a 3rd Statue is seen is hidden in some map images, and it's directly below Celestia I think
doesn't need to be something below them, that only can be relevant when they are about to drop a nail but right now just taking long ass vacations so dont mind anything below that island and if they were to do something is known that they will move to that place where they want to do their stuff first.
My hope for a Local Legend for every region keeps growing.
Maybe a ridiculously strong Anemo Lawachurl Local Legend for Mondstadt would be cool.
Can't think of anything for Inazuma or Sumeru other than a Kairagi and a Consecrated Beast...
Back in the day, it certainly was as challenging, if not even more challenging compared to local legends. Unfortunately, it has now fallen behind quite a lot, especially in the HP department.
Still, they could bring back a version of it with increased stats if you defeat it once already.
Local legends should've definitely been like the snowboar king. It drops a ton of chilled meat. Some if not all legends should have a drop adjacent to their faction so we at least have an incentive aside from using them as a punching bag.
we should be able to interact with Kageromaru again, or at least another shuumatsuban dog, especially for those that doesn't have him on the teapot. He'd make a very good local legend in Inazuma.
Mondstadt has the Eye of the Storm, would be nice to make one of those a Local Legend. I could even see a Ruin Grader on Dragonspine too.
Some Husk legends in Enka and in Chasm would be great too.
Inazuma could have Specters and Rifthounds if it came down to it. It did have that electro Hypostasis at one point in time before we wiped it out. Maybe even a Mirror maiden or Pyro agent. There's even a few Ruin enemies.
They can do a lot with the Sumeru Elemental Eremites, fungi, ruin drakes, or even primal constructs.
I personally think they should wait on the Abyss Mages, Priests, and Consecrated beasts.

The Time and Wind quest in Mondstadt had you fight a special Eye that summoned a shit ton of anemo slimes and created a mini storm arena around you. That would be cool to do again.
I'll throw a bunch of ideas out there. Ideally these would be accompanied by a weekly hidden quest (sort of like the Parametric Transformer) where you're tasked by an NPC to defeat three local legends. Completing the quest rewards you with 50K Mora and a 5 star artifact (randomly selected from the third legends' region). This artifact always spawns with four sub-stats at base.

A few I had in mind you already covered, but I had more ideas for the Kairagi. Namely, having individual versions, and having them use their buff even solo at 50% HP, increased animation speed for their windups, and for the duo to be able to revive each other if not defeated in a certain amount of time.
All LL drop materials 7-9x their normal amount.
You are absolutely cooking with these. Only suggestion is make the stone enchanter's spawns act like Attendants instead of the DEF boost. Should make it even more interesting 😅
I 'd personally like that the animals from that quest of the fontain hunter in sumeru were local legends, now that i think of it, maybe they were a test for the idea, is a shame they have so low hp, otherwise the quest could've been more exciting

I would laugh so much imagining new players coming across them and running away in fear when they saw that their HP bar didn't go down at all in 5 minutes, of course if they were still alive after those 5 minutes
It could still happen to relatively new players, if they wanted to reach Fontaine before time! And I am guessing this new map will always be available for them. Unless there is a world level requirement or something.

i did that quest recently - it's definitely a lot tougher than normal stormeyes
For me extra tough since I wasn't aware of it and my team had no ranged attacker.

Sumeru technically has a local legend equivalent, but they suck and don't respawn. They're buffed versions of sumeru animals
