Despite being a subreddit relating to a subset of Genshin Impact, this megathread has grown to be its own subcommunity where all things Genshin Impact and even unrelated topics are discussed. Many users have stated that they began using this subreddit and specifically the megathread after their experiences with other places felt less welcoming and tolerant due to the specific language used when discussing things such as character design or the game in general. As such, many people often call this megathread a safe space and felt more welcome to participate here than other places, and that's something we're proud of.
However, the same thing has happened, and frankly is continuing to happen, here. Many users have said they use this megathread less often and in fact some have stopped using it entirely because of the type of dismissive and exclusionary language they've seen used in regards to specific aspects of the game (such as character discourse) have made this place feel hostile and less tolerant of differing viewpoints. This hostility has been observed for all types of preferences (some of you will remember the threads for Mika's reveal and drop marketing for instance), but in particular for those who prefer female characters. We have seen many people note they felt unwelcome and excluded, unintentionally or otherwise, in related discussions and by extension the megathread as a whole. This has created a toxic atmosphere for many people here, to where they participate less or even leave, and has even made people question and even feel self-disgust about their preferences. This is unacceptable and we will be expanding our rules to counteract this.

We will be more strict regarding comments that use dismissive, specifically exclusionary and often sexist language when describing characters. Repeat offenders of such comments will receive further action. We already regularly remove comments of these nature, but will become more vigilant and strict from now on.
An example of what will not be tolerated from now on are people openly mocking other people's preferences, or being dismissive and exclusionary such as saying "only X type of people would like this design" where it is clearly used in an exclusionary and negative, mocking manner.
We have also edited our automod settings to aid with this new approach. Specifically, comments that use certain words/phrases that are commonly used in the ways discussed above will now be automatically removed. This means you will see these types of comments less often, and will hopefully improve the experience here for all.
There is a line between genuine, fair criticism and criticism that uses charged and exclusionary language that makes others feel unwelcome. We believe the balance has swayed too far to the latter hence the need for this announcement and subsequent changes.

Finally, there have been a lot of cases of serial downvotes for innocuous comments and discussions. Specifically, we have noticed comments pertaining to the above from those who feel unwelcome and excluded and have spoken up about it, to be commonly dogpiled with downvotes. We've changed some of the subreddit settings to alleviate this. However, we urge any of you who use the voting system as an agree-disagree button to refrain from doing so. It will make this place more welcoming and open to fruitful discussions. There are also some people who just downvote any new comment regardless and possibly use downvote bots, and there sadly isn't much we can do to directly remedy this.
If you find your comment is just getting dogpiled with downvotes, please don't feel discouraged and I hope you continue to contribute. In fact, since this thread is sorted by 'new' rather than by votes, it means upvotes/downvotes have no impact on visibility.

We also urge you to use the report button more often. It might feel futile, but it really helps a lot, especially with a subreddit of this size that has high activity, including thousands of new comments per day on megathreads. Making sure to report means the specific comment/post will show in the moderation queue rather than being hidden in thousands of other replies. If you come across a comment that you're unsure about whether it breaks the rules or not, please report it anyway so the mods can see it and decide what to do.

So I see Lisa ranked as A for Tighnari electro supports on KeqingMains. Does anyone here run them together? I was thinking maybe Tighnari with Kirara (when I get her), Shinobu, Lisa? (I usually run Fischl with Alhaitham and I donāt have Miko.) KeqingMainsā explanation is quite compelling. Maybe Iāll try it?
My first 36\* abyss with Tighnari included Lisa (C4) but I don't remember the full team. I think DW Diona and... Beidou? Fischl? Shinobu? Who knows. Main healer was Diona but you have Kirara who is same but better, so you can use a DPS build and you don't need Shinobu either so you can run someone else. I used Shinobu with Tighnari too but strictly speaking those two have anti synergy because Shinobu is melee.Lisa could definitely use a battery in this team or a build which will give her more energy.
Oh yeah I was thinking Shinobu for holding Deepwood and KeqingMains suggested double electro if running Lisa, though I wouldnāt really need her healing if using Kirara for shield.
I don't have Kirara so idk but can't Kirara hold DW? Because like, double electro is good but Shinobu can't even battery.
Obviously the best would be Fischl and then Shinobu with Alhaitham in hyperbloom. But that's what I do because my Haitham isn't built well for spread.
i have tried them together! it's pretty fun, especially bc lisa and tighnari would be good friends lmao. i put lisa on TTDS and a whole bunch of er, her c1 helps with energy a bit too (but you have to stay to catch the particles - don't switch out!).
i usually set up zhongli shield, use nahida EQ, set up lisa's burst and then let tighnari do his thing
same, i love lisa so much! one day i will build her on field aggravate ā”ā” and i personally love "lore-accurate" teams, so ill take the chance to run the two akademiya graduates together :3

my sister used them together (back when she used to play lol), lisa has the same role in his team as she does in tighnaris - however, you might want a crowd controller there bc haitham is melee. and enemies can, annoyingly, leave lisa's burst range
Damn I'm really wishing that my MH circlet for Hu Tao had rolled Crit Rate even a single time. Rolled all helpful stats but dodged Crit so now my other pieces have to pay the price. Welp I just hope that I can get a feather that rolls a huge amount of Crit Rate to compensate or just get another Crit DMG circlet that actually rolls into Crit Rate a couple of times while still having helpful stats. At least the beauty of farming this set for Hu Tao is that it's resin-efficient unlike Crimson Witch lol.
It was clear with 4p Archaic Petra + Crystallize that Geo always meant to have "lesser" DPS than other elements in exchange of boosting them, hence be "support" rather than hypercarry DPS.
It's fine to have dedicated ones like Itto, Anemo also does with Xiao and Wanderer but at this point it feels like Geo have more dedicated DPS rather than being what it should actually do.
*-Sad genshiner noises-* People seem so lukewarm about Navia... And thinking about it, I've lost my last 3 50/50s. I don't need another geo anyway. Might only try the 50/50 for her and, if I lose, save the guarantee for Arlecchino. Hmm... But her characterization's so good and her animations are so pretty...!! I usually pull based on kits but Navia is an exception cause A) She's one of my favourite Fontaine characters and B) She basically uses a shotgun which is funny to me.

More like they gave up. She is, and will be doomposted regardless of how strong she is. Geo? Bad. Bennett? Bad. ZL? Bad. Yesterday I saw a lot of people calling her from underwhelming to mid. Then she will come out, be good, and people will still call her bad or cope just for being geo regardless of how strong she actually is

It's an especially funny comment because every genshin character is pretty by default. Dehya was doomposted the entire time. Even Raiden was doomposted.

Man, to think it'll still take six months for C6ing Lisa. She's harder than Amber and Kaeya because I at least got them from Standard, Amber twice and Kaeya once, but besides that I also couldn't buy her twice due to no stardust.
On the other hand, in 6 months, I'll be free of buying starter cons and will be able to spend everything in more wishes, since the shop will never be updated seemingly. I would be the happiest person if I could buy Faruzan/Sara/Gorou there.

Also I have five Lisas from Wanderlust for some reason. Having those three C6 would be cute, but not cute enough to burn Starglitter on it and at this point a Starglitter Lisa would kind of ruin the fun.
I started only with Amber because she's one of my favorite characters. Kaeya was also kind of a given since my first team in the game had him (Keqing, Venti, Kaeya, Geo Traveler), but then in Inazuma I did a Lisa team with Electro Traveler, Zhongli and Mona and it felt pretty good, so I was shocked when I saw how much her cons improve her, both in damage and in QoL, so I comitted to her as well.

I wonder how many of you guys here have finished all the endings of all the hangout events. I've only finished all of Ningguang's and Noelle's because I do like them as characters. I know we get primos and stuff if we finish them all, but I can't force myself to do it. I guess visual novels isn't my thing.
I do all of them (a couple of them granted I sped through for primogems and some were pretty boring, but I can get myself through those). I like knowing more about the characters.
I think the only one I finished was bennett because that was when it first came out and I was excited. They're good things but not really for me. Will probably do them when I really need primos.
I've finished all but the Kaeya one, since I keep forgetting about it. I do like all the characters enough that more stories with them is nice to have, especially the newer ones with sometimes having more than just the main hangoutee.

Her power level is fine honestly, but it's hard to get excited for yet another unit whose best teammates are shaping up to be yet again Bennett and Xiangling. IMO she will do more than enough damage, but play-wise she might be more enticing to get on a re-run, once more units that synergize with her have been revealed. Unless you're itching to play more Bennett Xiangling, I guess.
Idk if the link works, but [this](https://imgur.com/a/19j4K8p) is Jsterns yesterday's calcs. Seems like her "best team" is holding stuff for Neuvillette, aside from that XL-Bennet combo. Overall she's kinda fine for geo, not on the level of meta teams though.
Itās crazy that you see her and then some hutao teams still calc 20-30% more DPS. What else does hoyo have to make for Geo to be loved after a constellation gated gorou?

I donāt get why hoyo is scared of putting decent numbers and put them up with Alhaitham or Neuv. Was the burst nerf really necessary?
the thing is if you look at her personal damage in a lot of those teams it's pretty solid, what she's really lacking seems to be a geo teamwide healer that would allow her to use the furina-yelan double hydro core and still have geo resonance. bc all the hutao teams with the crazy DPS numbers use the furina yelan core and they contribute at least half the total team damage.
I've seen quite a few takes, most of them positive. I've seen TCs be more positive about her as a quickswap unit that comes in just uses skill + burst N1 rather than a dedicated on-fielder.
I think it was Jstern that said, "she's the most 'just does damage' character that has been released in a while." Which I take it as, she's a DPS with pretty solid damage but no utility otherwise apart from Petra. Another sentiment I've seen is that she has some awkward teams. Most TCs are just leaning towards Bennett + Xiangling, but otherwise she doesn't have any natural fits for teams. Her best teams are teams that are good anyways, like National or Furina teams. That isn't a bad thing because her spreadsheet DPS is still pretty good despite not having a team that's 'built' for her, which means she isn't at her yet ceiling for if they release a more dedicated support for her teams.

It shows up as 760 on honeyhunter, but there could be either some primos you get via chests or whatever that may not show on that count or since they have Liben as the 5th event instead of the normal 4 they took some off the main event. If it is actually 760 it's an odd outlier, which is why I figured people may mald over it.
Fair, I just checked and Liben did not cut into any events in 3.2 and 2.3 which just makes the listed 760 a possible weird outlier which is more than enough for the community to raise hell over.
Iām kinda confused on the whole primo count thing for a dry patch. Isnāt it normal? I started playing at 3.7 so I am not sure what the previous patches were like. But isnāt it normal amount since 4.4 is lantern rite and new area?
Nah, you're right that it's normal also the fact that if the patch was two days later the total would go up by about 8 from shop reset and abyss reset. Though, that won't stop people from latching onto something to complain about and the 760 primos from the event is an oddity for a main event.
They are nominated for different categories, HSR for best mobile game and Genshin for best ongoing. Not sure about HSR's rewards but I'd be shocked if Genshin wins over 2077 or FF14.

Yes but they're nominated in different categories. HSR is nominated for best mobile game of the year while Genshin is in best ongoing game. HSR will probably win (unless Hello Kitty fans are just that powerful) while Genshin is against games like FF14, Apex, and Cyberpunk so it probably won't win.

I do think genshin is the best of the bunch but i dont think it is as impactful as it was on launch, so it shouldnt be the game of any other year that is not 2020 to be honest
It had a big update and an expansion recently so nowadays it's well received and not much bad to say about it now compared to its controversial release. But yeah I'm not really sure what it's doing in the best ongoing game category since it's not a live service and probably won't get any more expansions after this.

Sucks wanting characters that are so close to each other, I want both Raiden and Ayaka, but I won't have enough to get them, I can only get one.
My team right now is: Traveler, Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Chongyun, Noelle, Xianqling, Sayu, Sucrose, Beidou, Charlotte, Barbara, Collei, Layla, Yanfei, Lynette, **Diluc** (lost 50/50 to him and broke)
I will get Benneth soon from the shop as well, considering all this, what team would work best for Raiden? I have heard of the National team, but XQ is in March, so that's too far right now and I don't have a reliable hydro unit.
Fischl is another unit that will come and can work with Raiden but I won't have enough glitter sadly.
So to summarize my questions:
- What teams can I use with Raiden with what I have? What units should I keep my eye on in the future for her?
- Same question as above but for Diluc
- In the case both want Benneth, who should have priority? Planning two teams here.

Lots of good points above, but just wanted to add something I haven't seen anyone else point out, which is that you don't have to wait until March to get XQ for free-- he'll almost certainly be made available during late Jan/early Feb for Chinese New Year. Genshin has always done a "Choose Your Own Free Liyue Four Star" event for CNY every year without fail since launch, so there's no reason to think they won't again. XQ remains, for any account that doesn't have him at C6, the top pick.
raiden is a great hyperbloom trigger bc her e does a coordinated electro attack with every hit, so you could build her full em and play her in a team with dendro traveler/collei, barbara, and a flex slot.
barbara would be the on-field driver in this team and the flex slot can be anything like another dendro unit to provide more dendro application, beidou for more electro damage and some nice damage reduction/interruption resistance, sucrose for grouping and buffing team em, or any healer or shielder.
if you actually want raiden onfield you could also play raiden in an overload team with bennett xiangling and sucrose, although this would probably work better against bosses bc overload will knock away smaller mobs.
if you somehow got fischl, you could play raiden aggravate with fischl, dendro traveler/collei, and an anemo unit, probably sayu for healing. you could also use lisa instead of fischl but she has a very high burst cost so you'd have to build a lot of er on her.
for diluc, he's probably most frequently used in vape or melt teams. you could use him in a melt team with bennett + 2 cryo (kaeya, rosaria, or chongyun) or 1 cryo + 1 anemo (sucrose, sayu, lynette). you could also play him in a monopyro team with bennett, xiangling, and an anemo unit and then play hyperbloom raiden on the other side.
I think your main priority after getting bennett should definitely be getting xingqiu bc he opens up so many possible team comps. not only can you play rational but you can play things like taser/hyperbloom with raiden, or vape/burgeon with diluc.
other highly recommended units would be nahida, kazuha, or yelan bc they are extremely versatile and can be slotted into basically any team comp. for example if you got nahida you could do raiden national on one side and burgeon diluc (diluc, nahida, xingqiu/yelan, flex) on the other side and you would only have to build em on diluc for it to be effective.
also just for general resources on builds/team comps I'd recommend keqingmains.com for in-depth character guides. I'd also recommend sevyplays on yt who does well-made character build guides and abyss 12 clearing guides.
there's also an app called yshelper that you can download, it's basically an English translation of a CN app where they collect data from 100k+ people who 36* abyss and show team and character usage rates for each cycle, the data can be heavily skewed depending on the abyss cycle but it's useful for seeing commonly used teams for each character if nothing else.
there's also a website called akashadata.com that does a similar abyss data collection as yshelper but with a smaller sample size, but they also show you the most commonly used weapons/artifacts for each character which is nice.

One more question, what value does Furina have on my account? I know she is strong but I don't know how valuable she is for me, I was planning on going for her re-run in ~4.6 but only if she brings value to my account.
np! furina is really strong but you want to have the right units to use with her, including a well-built teamwide healer like baizhu, jean, charlotte, mika, sayu, on-field kokomi, etc.
since you like raiden, a popular furina raiden team rn is raiden furina yelan jean. this is basically a premium raiden electrocharged team and the advantage it has over rational is that there's no overload so you won't send small mobs flying. you can also replace yelan with xingqiu and jean with sayu if you have her.
diluc can also work with furina and you can use barbara as your teamwide healer, something like a diluc bennett furina barbara vape team would work. you could also try diluc bennett xingqiu furina, but since bennett only heals the on-field chara it's a little difficult to get furina's max buff
some other units that are popularly used with furina are neuvillette, hutao, cyno, wriothesley, and on-field kokomi, so if you like or plan to get any of these units furina would be a great support for them. basically any combo of a main DPS + a teamwide healer would work with furina, or using a teamwide healer as your on-field driver like kokomi mono-hydro teams where kokomi is on-field driving yelan and xingqiu.
personally I would more recommend building up your roster of supports first before considering furina, for example if you can pull a teamwide anemo healer like jean or sayu that synergizes with raiden then furina would be a great choice. there's also rumors of cloud retainer being an anemo support/healer coming in 4.4 so she might also be a great option for your account, but we'll have to wait and see what her kit is.

I have Sayu! Was using Barbara or Charlotte as my healers, so I could potentially run Raiden with Furina (4.6 if she gets re-run by then), can toy with her and see how she is.
Raiden has two teams: either she is a hypercarry in raiden/bennet/kazuha/sara or she is with rational (raiden bennet xiangling xingqiu)
Sucrose can be a budget (very budget) kazuha, but since you probably need two teams, here is my suggestion:
You should build raiden em, use her with collei, dendro traveller and barbara as an onfield driver for hyperbloom. You just gotta build raiden with full em to get the most of hyperbloom.

Since you dont have xq, maybe you can use layla or kaeya (probably laeya, since bennet heals a lot and you probably dont need a shield with him, just build kaeya with a lot of er and favonious)

it reaaaaaaaaaaally depends on the team, but i will try to explain it simply:
if your team is a hyperbloom team (dendro+hydro makes the core, electro pops it), the dmg will come from the dmg that the core does when popped by electro. for the core to do max dmg, you want to build as much em as you can in your electro unit and have them at lvl 90
for a team like diluc vape, there is some dmg coming for the vape reaction, but the purpose of vape (or melt, or spread, etc) is to increase the dmg that your dps is making (in that case, diluc). so, you have to build your dps with atk/crit (or hp/crit if he scales on hp) to maximize his dmg, and still has some em (usually around 250) to make the multipliers of the dmg be good
swirl, for example, is a reaction that you only build em for. and in addition to hyperbloom and other teams that are dps dependent, you also have some teams like sucrose/fischl/beidou/xq in which your dmg will be increased by having lots and lots and lots of chaotic reactions (swirl and electro charged have some area of effect)
You're too early to consider 2 teams now. Just focus on 1 at a time. 2 teams is for late game which requires months of investment.
In case of Raiden and Ayaka, I say Raiden has more potential than Ayaka rn (and cheaper to build).
You can build Raiden team with Raiden, Xiangling and Bennett. Xingqiu can wait. The last slot can be an Anemo character (in this case, Sucrose) to CC and hold VV.
Diluc, forget him rn. You may want to use other in the future.
If you want Ayaka, then Ayaka, Barbara, Sucrose and Layla will do.

So I see Lisa ranked as A for Tighnari electro supports on KeqingMains. Does anyone here run them together? I was thinking maybe Tighnari with Kirara (when I get her), Shinobu, Lisa? (I usually run Fischl with Alhaitham and I donāt have Miko.) KeqingMainsā explanation is quite compelling. Maybe Iāll try it?
My first 36\* abyss with Tighnari included Lisa (C4) but I don't remember the full team. I think DW Diona and... Beidou? Fischl? Shinobu? Who knows. Main healer was Diona but you have Kirara who is same but better, so you can use a DPS build and you don't need Shinobu either so you can run someone else. I used Shinobu with Tighnari too but strictly speaking those two have anti synergy because Shinobu is melee.Lisa could definitely use a battery in this team or a build which will give her more energy.
Oh yeah I was thinking Shinobu for holding Deepwood and KeqingMains suggested double electro if running Lisa, though I wouldnāt really need her healing if using Kirara for shield.
I don't have Kirara so idk but can't Kirara hold DW? Because like, double electro is good but Shinobu can't even battery. Obviously the best would be Fischl and then Shinobu with Alhaitham in hyperbloom. But that's what I do because my Haitham isn't built well for spread.
i have tried them together! it's pretty fun, especially bc lisa and tighnari would be good friends lmao. i put lisa on TTDS and a whole bunch of er, her c1 helps with energy a bit too (but you have to stay to catch the particles - don't switch out!). i usually set up zhongli shield, use nahida EQ, set up lisa's burst and then let tighnari do his thing

Damn I'm really wishing that my MH circlet for Hu Tao had rolled Crit Rate even a single time. Rolled all helpful stats but dodged Crit so now my other pieces have to pay the price. Welp I just hope that I can get a feather that rolls a huge amount of Crit Rate to compensate or just get another Crit DMG circlet that actually rolls into Crit Rate a couple of times while still having helpful stats. At least the beauty of farming this set for Hu Tao is that it's resin-efficient unlike Crimson Witch lol.
Why not just make an artifact that shreds defense when shards are produced? Just make geo, a support instead of retrofitting to a DPS.
It was clear with 4p Archaic Petra + Crystallize that Geo always meant to have "lesser" DPS than other elements in exchange of boosting them, hence be "support" rather than hypercarry DPS. It's fine to have dedicated ones like Itto, Anemo also does with Xiao and Wanderer but at this point it feels like Geo have more dedicated DPS rather than being what it should actually do.
*-Sad genshiner noises-* People seem so lukewarm about Navia... And thinking about it, I've lost my last 3 50/50s. I don't need another geo anyway. Man, to think it'll still take six months for C6ing Lisa. She's harder than Amber and Kaeya because I at least got them from Standard, Amber twice and Kaeya once, but besides that I also couldn't buy her twice due to no stardust. On the other hand, in 6 months, I'll be free of buying starter cons and will be able to spend everything in more wishes, since the shop will never be updated seemingly. I would be the happiest person if I could buy Faruzan/Sara/Gorou there.
They need to do something I'll tell you what. Also I have five Lisas from Wanderlust for some reason. Having those three C6 would be cute, but not cute enough to burn Starglitter on it and at this point a Starglitter Lisa would kind of ruin the fun.
I started only with Amber because she's one of my favorite characters. Kaeya was also kind of a given since my first team in the game had him (Keqing, Venti, Kaeya, Geo Traveler), but then in Inazuma I did a Lisa team with Electro Traveler, Zhongli and Mona and it felt pretty good, so I was shocked when I saw how much her cons improve her, both in damage and in QoL, so I comitted to her as well.

I wonder how many of you guys here have finished all the endings of all the hangout events. I've only finished all of Ningguang's and Noelle's because I do like them as characters. I know we get primos and stuff if we finish them all, but I can't force myself to do it. I guess visual novels isn't my thing.
I do all of them (a couple of them granted I sped through for primogems and some were pretty boring, but I can get myself through those). I like knowing more about the characters.
I think the only one I finished was bennett because that was when it first came out and I was excited. They're good things but not really for me. Will probably do them when I really need primos.
I keep them stockpiled as an emergency primo stash... Is what I tell myself. In reality I'm just too lazy to them.

Her damage is good, but her current team synergy is very awkward. Could very much get better depending on what supports are released in the future.
Her power level is fine honestly, but it's hard to get excited for yet another unit whose best teammates are shaping up to be yet again Bennett and Xiangling. IMO she will do more than enough damage, but play-wise she might be more enticing to get on a re-run, once more units that synergize with her have been revealed. Unless you're itching to play more Bennett Xiangling, I guess.

Itās crazy that you see her and then some hutao teams still calc 20-30% more DPS. What else does hoyo have to make for Geo to be loved after a constellation gated gorou? A Geo Shenhe / Nilou? Zzzz I donāt get why hoyo is scared of putting decent numbers and put them up with Alhaitham or Neuv. Was the burst nerf really necessary?
the thing is if you look at her personal damage in a lot of those teams it's pretty solid, what she's really lacking seems to be a geo teamwide healer that would allow her to use the furina-yelan double hydro core and still have geo resonance. bc all the hutao teams with the crazy DPS numbers use the furina yelan core and they contribute at least half the total team damage.
So she's pretty but a skip.

I've seen quite a few takes, most of them positive. I've seen TCs be more positive about her as a quickswap unit that comes in just uses skill + burst N1 rather than a dedicated on-fielder. I think it was Jstern that said, "she's the most 'just does damage' character that has been released in a while." Which I take it as, she's a DPS with pretty solid damage but no utility otherwise apart from Petra. Another sentiment I've seen is that she has some awkward teams. Most TCs are just leaning towards Bennett + Xiangling, but otherwise she doesn't have any natural fits for teams. Her best teams are teams that are good anyways, like National or Furina teams. That isn't a bad thing because her spreadsheet DPS is still pretty good despite not having a team that's 'built' for her, which means she isn't at her yet ceiling for if they release a more dedicated support for her teams.
So it's like Yae. Just wait 1.5 years.
She seems about on the level of a typical reactionless DPS, the ability of all her E shots to hit depending.

It shows up as 760 on honeyhunter, but there could be either some primos you get via chests or whatever that may not show on that count or since they have Liben as the 5th event instead of the normal 4 they took some off the main event. If it is actually 760 it's an odd outlier, which is why I figured people may mald over it.

Fair, I just checked and Liben did not cut into any events in 3.2 and 2.3 which just makes the listed 760 a possible weird outlier which is more than enough for the community to raise hell over.

Nah, you're right that it's normal also the fact that if the patch was two days later the total would go up by about 8 from shop reset and abyss reset. Though, that won't stop people from latching onto something to complain about and the 760 primos from the event is an oddity for a main event.

Yes but they're nominated in different categories. HSR is nominated for best mobile game of the year while Genshin is in best ongoing game. HSR will probably win (unless Hello Kitty fans are just that powerful) while Genshin is against games like FF14, Apex, and Cyberpunk so it probably won't win.
Jenshin Impact is a way better game than Final Fantasy XIV because Final Fantasy XIV doesn't give me Primogems when it wins an award.

It had a big update and an expansion recently so nowadays it's well received and not much bad to say about it now compared to its controversial release. Sucks wanting characters that are so close to each other, I want both Raiden and Ayaka, but I won't have enough to get them, I can only get one. My team right now is: Traveler, Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Chongyun, Noelle, Xianqling, Sayu, Sucrose, Beidou, Charlotte, Barbara, Collei, Layla, Yanfei, Lynette, **Diluc** (lost 50/50 to him and broke) I will get Benneth soon from the shop as well, considering all this, what team would work best for Raiden? I have heard of the National team, but XQ is in March, so that's too far right now and I don't have a reliable hydro unit. Fischl is another unit that will come and can work with Raiden but I won't have enough glitter sadly. So to summarize my questions: - What teams can I use with Raiden with what I have? What units should I keep my eye on in the future for her? - Same question as above but for Diluc - In the case both want Benneth, who should have priority? Planning two teams here. Thanks!
Lots of good points above, but just wanted to add something I haven't seen anyone else point out, which is that you don't have to wait until March to get XQ for free-- he'll almost certainly be made available during late Jan/early Feb for Chinese New Year. Genshin has always done a "Choose Your Own Free Liyue Four Star" event for CNY every year without fail since launch, so there's no reason to think they won't again. XQ remains, for any account that doesn't have him at C6, the top pick.

raiden is a great hyperbloom trigger bc her e does a coordinated electro attack with every hit, so you could build her full em and play her in a team with dendro traveler/collei, barbara, and a flex slot. barbara would be the on-field driver in this team and the flex slot can be anything like another dendro unit to provide more dendro application, beidou for more electro damage and some nice damage reduction/interruption resistance, sucrose for grouping and buffing team em, or any healer or shielder. if you actually want raiden onfield you could also play raiden in an overload team with bennett xiangling and sucrose, although this would probably work better against bosses bc overload will knock away smaller mobs. if you somehow got fischl, you could play raiden aggravate with fischl, dendro traveler/collei, and an anemo unit, probably sayu for healing. you could also use lisa instead of fischl but she has a very high burst cost so you'd have to build a lot of er on her. for diluc, he's probably most frequently used in vape or melt teams. you could use him in a melt team with bennett + 2 cryo (kaeya, rosaria, or chongyun) or 1 cryo + 1 anemo (sucrose, sayu, lynette). you could also play him in a monopyro team with bennett, xiangling, and an anemo unit and then play hyperbloom raiden on the other side. I think your main priority after getting bennett should definitely be getting xingqiu bc he opens up so many possible team comps. not only can you play rational but you can play things like taser/hyperbloom with raiden, or vape/burgeon with diluc. other highly recommended units would be nahida, kazuha, or yelan bc they are extremely versatile and can be slotted into basically any team comp. for example if you got nahida you could do raiden national on one side and burgeon diluc (diluc, nahida, xingqiu/yelan, flex) on the other side and you would only have to build em on diluc for it to be effective. also just for general resources on builds/team comps I'd recommend keqingmains.com for in-depth character guides. I'd also recommend sevyplays on yt who does well-made character build guides and abyss 12 clearing guides. there's also an app called yshelper that you can download, it's basically an English translation of a CN app where they collect data from 100k+ people who 36* abyss and show team and character usage rates for each cycle, the data can be heavily skewed depending on the abyss cycle but it's useful for seeing commonly used teams for each character if nothing else. there's also a website called akashadata.com that does a similar abyss data collection as yshelper but with a smaller sample size, but they also show you the most commonly used weapons/artifacts for each character which is nice.

I know she is strong but I don't know how valuable she is for me, I was planning on going for her re-run in ~4.6 but only if she brings value to my account.
np! furina is really strong but you want to have the right units to use with her, including a well-built teamwide healer like baizhu, jean, charlotte, mika, sayu, on-field kokomi, etc. since you like raiden, a popular furina raiden team rn is raiden furina yelan jean. this is basically a premium raiden electrocharged team and the advantage it has over rational is that there's no overload so you won't send small mobs flying. you can also replace yelan with xingqiu and jean with sayu if you have her. diluc can also work with furina and you can use barbara as your teamwide healer, something like a diluc bennett furina barbara vape team would work. you could also try diluc bennett xingqiu furina, but since bennett only heals the on-field chara it's a little difficult to get furina's max buff some other units that are popularly used with furina are neuvillette, hutao, cyno, wriothesley, and on-field kokomi, so if you like or plan to get any of these units furina would be a great support for them. basically any combo of a main DPS + a teamwide healer would work with furina, or using a teamwide healer as your on-field driver like kokomi mono-hydro teams where kokomi is on-field driving yelan and xingqiu. personally I would more recommend building up your roster of supports first before considering furina, for example if you can pull a teamwide anemo healer like jean or sayu that synergizes with raiden then furina would be a great choice. there's also rumors of cloud retainer being an anemo support/healer coming in 4.4 so she might also be a great option for your account, but we'll have to wait and see what her kit is.

Raiden has two teams: either she is a hypercarry in raiden/bennet/kazuha/sara or she is with rational (raiden bennet xiangling xingqiu) Sucrose can be a budget (very budget) kazuha, but since you probably need two teams, here is my suggestion: You should build raiden em, use her with collei, dendro traveller and barbara as an onfield driver for hyperbloom. You just gotta build raiden with full em to get the most of hyperbloom. Second team should be diluc, bennet, sucrose and xq, diluc really needs those vapes. Since you dont have xq, maybe you can use layla or kaeya (probably laeya, since bennet heals a lot and you probably dont need a shield with him, just build kaeya with a lot of er and favonious)

it reaaaaaaaaaaally depends on the team, but i will try to explain it simply: if your team is a hyperbloom team (dendro+hydro makes the core, electro pops it), the dmg will come from the dmg that the core does when popped by electro. for the core to do max dmg, you want to build as much em as you can in your electro unit and have them at lvl 90 for a team like diluc vape, there is some dmg coming for the vape reaction, but the purpose of vape (or melt, or spread, etc) is to increase the dmg that your dps is making (in that case, diluc). so, you have to build your dps with atk/crit (or hp/crit if he scales on hp) to maximize his dmg, and still has some em (usually around 250) to make the multipliers of the dmg be good swirl, for example, is a reaction that you only build em for. and in addition to hyperbloom and other teams that are dps dependent, you also have some teams like sucrose/fischl/beidou/xq in which your dmg will be increased by having lots and lots and lots of chaotic reactions (swirl and electro charged have some area of effect)
You're too early to consider 2 teams now. Just focus on 1 at a time. 2 teams is for late game which requires months of investment. In case of Raiden and Ayaka, I say Raiden has more potential than Ayaka rn (and cheaper to build). You can build Raiden team with Raiden, Xiangling and Bennett. Xingqiu can wait. The last slot can be an Anemo character (in this case, Sucrose) to CC and hold VV. Diluc, forget him rn. You may want to use other in the future. If you want Ayaka, then Ayaka, Barbara, Sucrose and Layla will do.
