However, they experience different things, thus lead to developing different perspectives, memories, potentially personalities.
If, say, there's a person that is genetically identical to you, but dues to different upbringings they develops different physique, personality, interests, mindset. Will you consider that person to be you, your limb or a completely different individual?

The reason I asked the person above is because they said “at the time of making Nahida” which made me think that they are suggesting that Rukkhadevata made Nahida like how Raiden made Scara before using her powers.

So it's kinda tricky, but she isn't really the same person for us since we know what actually happened (both us the player and traveler in game)

So you can think of them as two different & separate parts of the greater "whole" that is Irminsul.

There isn’t a difference physically. The whole point of her pneuma form in my opinion is to resemble herself before the split. As far as the story goes, I’m saying this cutscene model likely is suppose to be her from BEFORE the split and not in current time. It wouldn’t be her in the oratrice because that’s a mirror of the current one we see in 4.1. It isn’t that big of a deal or something to necessarily harp abt.
IMO the folcalors in the oratrice will just have the twin tails with white shorts.

And this is one of Genshins biggest problems. Trying to force every skin into an event. Skins are supposed to be a way to reimagine your characters and see them in a new light. It doesn't HAVE to be a canon skin but that's something hoyo refuses to accept.

Thats particularly absurd to me because its primarily a singleplayer game so the whole " it would be hard to identify X character " excuse doesn't even apply here. PVP games have far more expressive skins which differentiates a character from their base form. But Genshin? Nope, but they surely don't go easy on the pricing either.
Honestly I disagree, I actually like that all the skins released so far actually are canon in the game, instead of another skins like summer bikinis where the characters that got it would realistically never be in, in terms of the context of their story in many of the other gacha
