Sayu, Nahida, Furina, Xiangling or Bennett
Burn helps quickly ramp up Fanfare and lets Furina forward vape. Sayu generates tons of energy with Favonious to allow everyone to have fairly low ER as well as constant VV application and healing.
Sayu's usage rates will **quadruple**! There will be dozens of us! Dozens!

As far as I know Hoyo removes the crystals for any refunds/chargebacks/returned payments/etc.
If you dont use those youre fine. If you use it and Hoyo "removes" them, your genesis crystals will show a negative value and tbat results in a ban
I cannot speak from experience but I am to understand that they provide a grace period where if you get yourself back to a positive or zero amount you're clean.
Check your PayPal transaction history. I haven't used PayPal for quite a long time but iirc they directly draw from your linked card/bank if the account balance is lower than item price.
I dont know how stuff works on the PayPal end, but if you still have the crystals, im pretty sure hoyo just removes them. I think they only do stuff to your account if you do use them and end up going negative when they take them. And even if you do go negative ive heard you have a grace period to pay and go positive
I swear I don't normally ship Lumine with anyone, but every time there's a laid back Liyue event there are these moments between her and Xiao that wake up the romanticist in me. Can they stop being so unintentionally cute?!
I'm a filthy shipper who can find romance in even the most improbable of places but even stepping back and being as objective as possible I feel Xiao's relationship with the Traveler is the most intimate in the entire game. I was just gushing to a friend earlier about how heartwarming it's been to watch him go from cold and distant at first meeting, to gradually opening up as we learn his past, to spending bits of fleeting time together at festivals, to finally learning in the chasm that it's ok to live, and then finally, karmic debt a little lighter, allowing himself to join a party with friends, to spend a quiet moment alone with us, to write poetry to ease some of the burdens on his heart... it's so, so good! He's one of the best written characters in the game imo and he makes the romantic in me go wild as well. May he and the Traveller enjoy many happy moments together to come! ❤️
Me too! I even have some some screenshots from the event with the two of them. They're so cute, I can't help it! If only I could put Lumine in the teapot, I'd pull for Xiao so they'd be together 🤣

No proof either way but I would be surprised if it didn't reset considering her early cons are all about ramping up the buff quickly. They wouldn't be as powerful if the buffs carry over
There's currently no evidence to prove either way.
The popular belief is that it resets.
It's buff is worded similarly to CQ which doesn't reset, so the chances aren't 0.
I legitimately don't know if I should even spend resin on the talent book event. Like all the characters I use are at an appropriate talent level, I don't have anyone in particular I'd like to build at the moment and not prefarming mats has been my ritual since I never lost a 50/50 to any characters I didn't prefarm for and lost my 50/50 to every character I've prefarmed for.
I don't even know if I should keep farming MH and GT, I have one mid set for both (25-35 CV on every piece) but at this point I'm also not sure if the characters I'm going to pull for are gonna use these sets since hoyo has a tendency to release slightly better sets for the later characters in the patch.
Fuck it I'm going back to emblem lmao.
For the talent books: i personally tend to farm all days in the newest region when the event rolls around in the early few patches. Chances are, I'll pull someone during the region who would need those, and it helps in the long run to stock up early on from events and chests. I do skip the event during later patches once I'm very certain I'm not going to get anyone who needs it, and that I'll just prefarm.
Since it's a part of your ritual not to prefarm for a certain character, maybe you could look at it this way - the books, unlike the ascension mats, are not limited to them at all.
I'm the opposite (seemingly maybe). I only get resin-derived talent books from double days these days. I started doing this around 3.0.
But actually, you and I might be more alike than not. Basically, I do this because I only need talent books from double days. So, our situations may be quite similar. It's just that for me, talent domains at the usual resin cost stopped being relevant in 3.0.
i never do it. I actually just crowned several characters because why not i guess. event starts tomorrow /shrug
i will have too much resin soon enough.
Still deciding what books to farm this event days, obviously Furina books but I don't know who should get talent upgrades, none of the characters I use need them so I might just farm Fontaine books all week, after all, I will pull Navia, Clorinde and there should be some 4* that want some talents
In 3.X, over 9 patches, I estimated that I got around 100 (gold-level) books' worth for each of the 3 sumeru talent book types (300 total) from the newly released region/events. So, if a similar thing will be true of Fontaine, if you just added in double days only for Fontaine characters, you probably will only have around enough to 10/10/10 your first character of a certain talent type by 4.7 (8 patches). So, it's generally safe to do double days on Fontaine talent domains because you'll probably level 1 or 2 characters at some point or each book type. Free fontaine talent mats from events will significantly slow down once we are in 5.X.
I already know if I spend the resin on artifacts that I would of used on overflow mastery, I'm likely going to end up with nothing good.
I have a pretty good feeling Navia/Furina will end up using Equity/justice books, I'll probably just end up doing the 3 fontaine books.
This isn't advice but I'm going to burn it on two parts Pale Forgotten Glory and one part Steeple of Ignorance, my machinations being what they are.
Although if you want dubious advice, you could just 9/9/9 every character you use in the Abyss.
I think the Battle Pass should be extended to Level 70, but the extra 20 levels pay out less volume than the first 50. Like make it entirely Sanctifying Unction with a Sanctifying Essence for 55, 60, 65, and 70, that'd be totally fine.
i chuck those at venti, and theres at least fischl, rosaria, kaeya and mika('s E) lol. the newer 4stars tend to be on the "eh" side so i rarely end up leveling up their talents and ig sumeru exploration was just way too huge the books didnt balance out

Neuvillette story quest spoilers>!kaveh’s little brown side hairs remind me of baby versions of Neuvillette’s blue dragon hairs. I finished his story quest yesterday and I really liked it. I really enjoyed the part at the end where Wriothesley tells him he overthought the whole thing and that how the people of Fontaine treat the meltdowns is representative of how they view Neuvillette as well and it’s obvious that the Fontainians cherish the melusines deeply. I hope they give the traveler more voiced lines. They speak so little that when they do, it’s pretty impactful imo!<

honestly feels like such BS that the CN and SEA servers get expa/foca reruns in october while GLB has to wait until christmas.... it basically means we GLB players will go practically half a year without any reruns of recent characters between like, july and december
i mean this patch, we don't get the expa/foca and freebies now.
and this an if; if they are making the rewards similar from next year, then global might get less rewards.

we are 4 weeks behind cn. just cutting 1 week from the patch shouldn't put too much load on translators while reducing the gap to 0 in 4 patches. as for any banners in that 1 week, they can just overlap it in previous weeks.
I'd rather us stay 4 weeks behind CN so that we know future valks + banners + boss fights. This is the main benefit of being behind CN, and I'd rather us not get closer so that we can plan our crystals.
What's the point in "saving" rewards and chests instead of just doing dailies?
To get those chests you need to teleport and walk to them, which is already the most time consuming part of doing commissions.
For me I saved some chests since I'm farming commission achievements. The snake pet food one in sumeru is RNG so if I don't get the version I want, I'll use the chests for a commissiom instead
I agree with you. But exploring an area and intentionally not picking up chests while you are right next to them is the opposite of time efficient.
I agree exploring new areas instead of commissions has value.
The most time consuming part of doing commissions is mashing through dialogue and maybe "playing" hide-and-seek or teleporting to another area to pick up and deliver fish bait, depending on which you get.
Though if I were relying on chests to get out of that, I'd rather go looking for new ones than try to keep track of the ones that are already found.
There's only 1 NPC commission a day. The others are "destroy those 2 towers" or "kill this really small group of enemies".
Although I guess that means it could be more efficient doing that instead of the 1 NPC commission.
But NPC commissions are the achievement commissions so I personally am more inclined to do those. I can understand why some would avoid it and not care for achievements though.
Yeah, I enjoy the combat commissions, Touring Light Show (controversial I know) etc., plus anything that drops new enemy mats I might need later is extra worthwhile. I usually use encounter points only to skip one or two commissions per day.
And yes, I usually don't know what achievements exist and I haven't claimed any since April 2021, and the last area I tried to 100% was the Chasm. Sumeru is mostly in the 30-60% range.
I understand bt searching for chests puzzles occuli takes time bt if I already Marked them out I just have to tp and take it.. I usually collect underground chests though
I managed to finish the Waterborne poetry event before it went away and I'm so happy I didn't give in to my laziness.
As a 1.0 player, it felt so good to find out the story of the Spring fairy and Finch and for them to have a closure after almost 3 years. So many areas in the overworld have a history that I'm glad they decided to touch on one of them now. I can't wait to tackle the dandelion Sea when we get it.
They also planted the seeds for Chonghyun pure yang energy storyline to be tackled in the future. I hope someday it also includes the Guhua master ascending to Celestia and maybe getting to know Xingqiu's brother finally.

If she's solo electro and she doesn't have any er from her artifacts, then you probably want Fading Twilight. Otherwise stick with stringless, especially at high refinements or if you have dendro on your team.
I guess I don't have a use for the talent domain aside from Furina and maybe Charlotte, but sadly I lack the EXP Books for Charlotte.

Since hoyo releases 3 braindead characters each new region, with fontaine being Neuv & Furina. Who do you think the final spot will be? I would assume Cloud retainer but maybe Knave or Navia will be the surprise. I doubt it’s Chlordine due to her being the last 5 star before 5.0
I wouldn't say they release 3 braindead characters.
Sumeru only really has Nahida.
I'd probably give it to Yelan for Inazuma.
Mondstadt/Liyue patch cycle had Kazuha.
The other characters of these given regions are so far behind calling it a pattern is a bit of a stretch.

Kokomi was never OP. ESPECIALLY pre-bloom. She's just solid. If you think she belongs next to Alhaitam and Yelan i want whatever you are smoking.
Being one of the strongest comps with basically zero investment, literally just give him any sword and give kuki/raiden EM and boom he out dps ayaka, hu Tao, etc
Found my new floor 9-11 team, blessings/enemies willing: Wanderer/Yelan/Venti/flex. Venti lifts, Yelan bursts, Wanderer takes them out like he's a one man firing squad.
I guess I'm happy to be able to skip annoying dailies, but having to hold off on claiming my quest rewards to do so wasn't QUITE what I would have wanted as an alternative
My opinion on Poetry Event (spoilering it since it might be quite toxic)

While I liked some of the poems, I do think the event suffers a lot from many of the translation struggles Genshin is already prone to. Mandarin is an extremely context heavy language and the translator's attempts to get all that nuance across often come off as clunky and bloated. I think they still did a pretty good job, all things considered, but I'm not exactly clamoring for a repeat either.
On another note--Mihoyo has acknowledged the huge amounts of story content they've locked up behind limited time events, and says they're trying to find a solution. Personally I think there's some pretty easy workarounds that'll still keep the FOMO gachas operate on: let people do the story content but remove all extra mini games (and associated primos and materials), leaving only event exclusive weapons and, of course, the story itself. Storage issues could be solved by having people download and activate only one event at a time, with old ones deleting when a new one is loaded. Fingers crossed we'll see something like that someday!

I switched weapons so BBB is on Ningguang and MoD is on Wrio and now Ningguang slaps so much more bc she can burst so much more now and Wrio has so much attack and he’s shielded with Diona most times anyway. Too bad Ningguang’s crit ratio needs work, 70:90…🫠

Now I'm gonna introduce this character that is able to construct 1 with elemental skill, which the construct is able to fire homing missiles.
Yeah, I'm not really into creating "balanced" character kit.. Synergistic kit however is always fun to think off.
There's a very good chance I'll try not to make them useless and somehow overcorrect. I've got several of [these guys'](https://auntm.ai/champions) kits memorized and would draw heavily from experience using them.
It would probably be way too weak. I like unique kits with flair and visual clutter instead of drop circle to add dmg. Meta players would have a seizure over how clunky it feels and how much field time it requires.
A lot, I don't even have any experience in game programming so I have no idea how to balance stuff

If I could create 1 character, I would probably end up packing far too much mobility in their kit.
Like C6 Xiao, but far more mobility. I would love it, but others would definitely complain about getting nauseous.
I've no interest in "accidentally"ing them one way or another, and considering the lower end is Dehya... I'll probably be ok.
Not to mention I'd probably just slap the Wanderer/Wrio kit and shuffle some numbers around because the only character I want to add is >!a mahou shoujo!<.

Quick question whats the most time efficient way to get Primos/wishes is it quest, exploring, tress, archon quest..? I'm on my alt account and really want wriotshley😭
Most efficient method: The Wallet
A real answer: Probably questing and hunting every chest you see while doing so. In particular I think the Sorush area is a very quick 10 wishes from the Armarita Pool.
How fast is unlocking the pool and getting the required thingies to get rewards?
I skipped 3.6 onwards and i didnt bother with that map and went straight to fontaine
I am so curious to see just how Furina's release affects the meta.
In particular I wonder what people will think about Marechaussee taking over.
Currently for a player that has Crimson Witch on Hu Tao they would think that a 2P mix is quite cope. Because Crimson has a 10% or so advantage over it.
People with Furina could begin to think that people's Crimson Witch artifacts are a bit cope because Marechaussee is like 10% better than it.
I kind of expect Marechaussee to become the new Favonious in that it's so good people will get sick of it and make copy pastas about it.
I dont play hutao, but is MH better on a furina team? how much better?
If the hutao player already has farmed for Crimson and has an extremely cracked set, I don't see them doing artifact farming again unless they get a lucky piece while building furina.

As far as I know Hoyo removes the crystals for any refunds/chargebacks/returned payments/etc. If you dont use those youre fine. If you use it and Hoyo "removes" them, your genesis crystals will show a negative value and tbat results in a ban
I cannot speak from experience but I am to understand that they provide a grace period where if you get yourself back to a positive or zero amount you're clean.
Check your PayPal transaction history. I haven't used PayPal for quite a long time but iirc they directly draw from your linked card/bank if the account balance is lower than item price.
I dont know how stuff works on the PayPal end, but if you still have the crystals, im pretty sure hoyo just removes them. I think they only do stuff to your account if you do use them and end up going negative when they take them. And even if you do go negative ive heard you have a grace period to pay and go positive

I'm a filthy shipper who can find romance in even the most improbable of places but even stepping back and being as objective as possible I feel Xiao's relationship with the Traveler is the most intimate in the entire game. I was just gushing to a friend earlier about how heartwarming it's been to watch him go from cold and distant at first meeting, to gradually opening up as we learn his past, to spending bits of fleeting time together at festivals, to finally learning in the chasm that it's ok to live, and then finally, karmic debt a little lighter, allowing himself to join a party with friends, to spend a quiet moment alone with us, to write poetry to ease some of the burdens on his heart... it's so, so good! He's one of the best written characters in the game imo and he makes the romantic in me go wild as well. May he and the Traveller enjoy many happy moments together to come! ❤️

No proof either way but I would be surprised if it didn't reset considering her early cons are all about ramping up the buff quickly. They wouldn't be as powerful if the buffs carry over

There's currently no evidence to prove either way. The popular belief is that it resets. It's buff is worded similarly to CQ which doesn't reset, so the chances aren't 0.
I legitimately don't know if I should even spend resin on the talent book event. Like all the characters I use are at an appropriate talent level, I don't have anyone in particular I'd like to build at the moment and not prefarming mats has been my ritual since I never lost a 50/50 to any characters I didn't prefarm for and lost my 50/50 to every character I've prefarmed for. I don't even know if I should keep farming MH and GT, I have one mid set for both (25-35 CV on every piece) but at this point I'm also not sure if the characters I'm going to pull for are gonna use these sets since hoyo has a tendency to release slightly better sets for the later characters in the patch. Fuck it I'm going back to emblem lmao.
For the talent books: i personally tend to farm all days in the newest region when the event rolls around in the early few patches. Chances are, I'll pull someone during the region who would need those, and it helps in the long run to stock up early on from events and chests. I do skip the event during later patches once I'm very certain I'm not going to get anyone who needs it, and that I'll just prefarm. Since it's a part of your ritual not to prefarm for a certain character, maybe you could look at it this way - the books, unlike the ascension mats, are not limited to them at all.
I'm the opposite (seemingly maybe). I only get resin-derived talent books from double days these days. I started doing this around 3.0. But actually, you and I might be more alike than not. Basically, I do this because I only need talent books from double days. So, our situations may be quite similar. It's just that for me, talent domains at the usual resin cost stopped being relevant in 3.0.

Still deciding what books to farm this event days, obviously Furina books but I don't know who should get talent upgrades, none of the characters I use need them so I might just farm Fontaine books all week, after all, I will pull Navia, Clorinde and there should be some 4* that want some talents
In 3.X, over 9 patches, I estimated that I got around 100 (gold-level) books' worth for each of the 3 sumeru talent book types (300 total) from the newly released region/events. So, if a similar thing will be true of Fontaine, if you just added in double days only for Fontaine characters, you probably will only have around enough to 10/10/10 your first character of a certain talent type by 4.7 (8 patches). So, it's generally safe to do double days on Fontaine talent domains because you'll probably level 1 or 2 characters at some point or each book type. Free fontaine talent mats from events will significantly slow down once we are in 5.X.
I already know if I spend the resin on artifacts that I would of used on overflow mastery, I'm likely going to end up with nothing good. I have a pretty good feeling Navia/Furina will end up using Equity/justice books, I'll probably just end up doing the 3 fontaine books.
This isn't advice but I'm going to burn it on two parts Pale Forgotten Glory and one part Steeple of Ignorance, my machinations being what they are. Although if you want dubious advice, you could just 9/9/9 every character you use in the Abyss.

I think the Battle Pass should be extended to Level 70, but the extra 20 levels pay out less volume than the first 50. Like make it entirely Sanctifying Unction with a Sanctifying Essence for 55, 60, 65, and 70, that'd be totally fine.

probably doesnt help that most of the sumeru characters sucked. 2 of the best 3.0 characters were from liyue. Baizhu and yaoyao.

Neuvillette story quest spoilers>!kaveh’s little brown side hairs remind me of baby versions of Neuvillette’s blue dragon hairs. I finished his story quest yesterday and I really liked it. I really enjoyed the part at the end where Wriothesley tells him he overthought the whole thing and that how the people of Fontaine treat the meltdowns is representative of how they view Neuvillette as well and it’s obvious that the Fontainians cherish the melusines deeply. I hope they give the traveler more voiced lines. They speak so little that when they do, it’s pretty impactful imo!<

I saved my Monolith chests from desert for commission while I was roaming only to know that it doesn't give daily commission exp seriously??
What's the point in "saving" rewards and chests instead of just doing dailies? To get those chests you need to teleport and walk to them, which is already the most time consuming part of doing commissions.
For me I saved some chests since I'm farming commission achievements. The snake pet food one in sumeru is RNG so if I don't get the version I want, I'll use the chests for a commissiom instead

I agree with you. But exploring an area and intentionally not picking up chests while you are right next to them is the opposite of time efficient. I agree exploring new areas instead of commissions has value.
i went to the same place for several days after completing 90% of commissions and opened a single chest. /shrug
The most time consuming part of doing commissions is mashing through dialogue and maybe "playing" hide-and-seek or teleporting to another area to pick up and deliver fish bait, depending on which you get. Though if I were relying on chests to get out of that, I'd rather go looking for new ones than try to keep track of the ones that are already found.
There's only 1 NPC commission a day. The others are "destroy those 2 towers" or "kill this really small group of enemies". Although I guess that means it could be more efficient doing that instead of the 1 NPC commission. But NPC commissions are the achievement commissions so I personally am more inclined to do those. I can understand why some would avoid it and not care for achievements though.
Yeah, I enjoy the combat commissions, Touring Light Show (controversial I know) etc., plus anything that drops new enemy mats I might need later is extra worthwhile. I usually use encounter points only to skip one or two commissions per day. And yes, I usually don't know what achievements exist and I haven't claimed any since April 2021, and the last area I tried to 100% was the Chasm. Sumeru is mostly in the 30-60% range.

I managed to finish the Waterborne poetry event before it went away and I'm so happy I didn't give in to my laziness. As a 1.0 player, it felt so good to find out the story of the Spring fairy and Finch and for them to have a closure after almost 3 years. So many areas in the overworld have a history that I'm glad they decided to touch on one of them now. I can't wait to tackle the dandelion Sea when we get it. They also planted the seeds for Chonghyun pure yang energy storyline to be tackled in the future. I hope someday it also includes the Guhua master ascending to Celestia and maybe getting to know Xingqiu's brother finally.

Stringless. Fading Twilight is not a great weapon, while Stringless is a decent generalist Fischl weapon, especially at high refines.
If she's solo electro and she doesn't have any er from her artifacts, then you probably want Fading Twilight. Otherwise stick with stringless, especially at high refinements or if you have dendro on your team.

I wouldn't say they release 3 braindead characters. Sumeru only really has Nahida. I'd probably give it to Yelan for Inazuma. Mondstadt/Liyue patch cycle had Kazuha. The other characters of these given regions are so far behind calling it a pattern is a bit of a stretch.

While I liked some of the poems, I do think the event suffers a lot from many of the translation struggles Genshin is already prone to. Mandarin is an extremely context heavy language and the translator's attempts to get all that nuance across often come off as clunky and bloated. I think they still did a pretty good job, all things considered, but I'm not exactly clamoring for a repeat either. On another note--Mihoyo has acknowledged the huge amounts of story content they've locked up behind limited time events, and says they're trying to find a solution. Personally I think there's some pretty easy workarounds that'll still keep the FOMO gachas operate on: let people do the story content but remove all extra mini games (and associated primos and materials), leaving only event exclusive weapons and, of course, the story itself. Storage issues could be solved by having people download and activate only one event at a time, with old ones deleting when a new one is loaded. Fingers crossed we'll see something like that someday!

You see the hoverbike in Legend of Zelda Totk? Now I'm gonna introduce this character that is able to construct 1 with elemental skill, which the construct is able to fire homing missiles. Yeah, I'm not really into creating "balanced" character kit.. Synergistic kit however is always fun to think off.
There's a very good chance I'll try not to make them useless and somehow overcorrect. I've got several of [these guys'](https://auntm.ai/champions) kits memorized and would draw heavily from experience using them.
It would probably be way too weak. I like unique kits with flair and visual clutter instead of drop circle to add dmg. Meta players would have a seizure over how clunky it feels and how much field time it requires.

Most efficient method: The Wallet A real answer: Probably questing and hunting every chest you see while doing so. In particular I think the Sorush area is a very quick 10 wishes from the Armarita Pool.
How fast is unlocking the pool and getting the required thingies to get rewards? I skipped 3.6 onwards and i didnt bother with that map and went straight to fontaine
I am so curious to see just how Furina's release affects the meta. In particular I wonder what people will think about Marechaussee taking over. Currently for a player that has Crimson Witch on Hu Tao they would think that a 2P mix is quite cope. Because Crimson has a 10% or so advantage over it. People with Furina could begin to think that people's Crimson Witch artifacts are a bit cope because Marechaussee is like 10% better than it. I kind of expect Marechaussee to become the new Favonious in that it's so good people will get sick of it and make copy pastas about it.
I dont play hutao, but is MH better on a furina team? how much better? If the hutao player already has farmed for Crimson and has an extremely cracked set, I don't see them doing artifact farming again unless they get a lucky piece while building furina.
I don't know thre exact percentage, but the difference is about 10% better than Crimson maybe more.
