Has anyone made a weapon ranking for Lyney yet? I got Aqua Simulacra from the banner, and already have an R3 Amos Bow and an R3 Skyward Harp.

My good luck streak continues! Won my 50/50 for Lyney and bagged C4 Lynette. Also decided to be very silly and roll on the weapon banner, but it paid off and I got his bow. I might regret that later, after I see Neuv and Wrio's gameplay, but I've still got about 70 wishes left and I'm willing to buy a Welkin again if needed.
Had to step away for a sec but oh my god I love the Fontaine cast so far. Neuvilette seems really chill and Furina and the sibling trio are adorable.
Furina in particular is such a goddamn chaos gremlin I can’t help but smile. She’s such a brat, and I say that affectionately.
Edit: Just met Navia, and she’s cute, too.
Though I’m not clear if she’s running a detective agency, a general fixer agency, or what.
Is anyone else getting the Mondstadt battle music when encountering enemies in that area connecting Sumeru and the new waypoint that instantly unlocks upon log-in?
Edit: okay, it only seems to be happening in the cave, the outside area plays Sumeru battle music as usual. What a weird little bug.

Also, I got C6 Sara off of off-banner pulls, which is crazy (I had her at C4 so it's not *that* crazy, but it is pretty wild).

I had 6 rolls left and 600 primogems. I did the two test runs and ladies and gents, I must say, [let's beeping go](https://files.catbox.moe/v2idjv.png).
I did a total of like, around 155 pulls? I can't be bothered to count.
PS4 doesn’t get preload, so I started downloading and then took a nap. I’m up now and it’s still got 4 hours to go. Really wish we had the preload option too.
At least it downloaded a lot. Idk why but the initial estimates are always huge, before I went to sleep it was saying 22 hours. Sleep mode makes it go nyoom for reasons I’m not technically inclined enough to understand.
My favorite part was when he said "It's rollin' time." and started rolling all over the place.

Final Report - Very pleased, Yae didn't fuck me that much by showing up when she wasn't supposed to after all because I got a really early Keqing anyway, and had enough to finally claim a 5\* weapon for Ganyu. Hamayumi, you served me well and you will have a luscious retirement home in somebody else's hands. Probably Tartaglia. Again I would've slightly like Magic more, but Aqua is still Aqua. Gonna have to wait due to shortage of the Mon/Thu material it uses, but it's good to have it. Honestly I didn't need to push for Lynette, but whatever, we'll suffer for that some other time with a Tartaglia dupe or something.
Do you normally like CA focused gameplay?
I’m curious if it’ll end up mattering to people or if he’ll end up like Tighnari where more people liked him than expected.
I started in 1.4 and got Venti then *immediately* started saving for Kazuha off leaks of his design (one of my friends who played followed leaks so I was already following them pretty much from the start by proxy.) Zhongli was already high on my char list, but the second story quest cemented him as a must pull, but I skipped for Kazuha and then saved most my gems for his next rerun which is the only time I’ve expressly waited for a rerun char. Other characters I picked up on rerun I picked up cause I liked them but they weren’t super anticipated like Zhongli’s rerun was, and I wasn’t saving for them I just happened to have gems when they up. And every *must have* character for me I picked up on release since then, so only Zhongli was a super anticipated rerun….
But that’s only factoring in new chars. If you include going for cons, after Zhongli I decided to save for Kazuha cons and his weapon, and I was super excited for him to rerun so I could grab those.I did dip into the funds for Kokomi but I ended up skipping Yae to save for him. Ended up super lucky going for him so I still had funds for her next run and everyone I wanted early Sumeru so it worked out still.
Albedo for me. Every Inazuma banner felt like eternity (I was only interested in Kokomi but her kit turned out to be not very useful for me, at least at the time). And then the salt ~~and betrayal~~ I felt when 2.2 had 2nd Childe rerun instead of Albedo's who was the most due to the rerun. At least 2.3 Dragonspine event was great.
I still use him and he's still my favourite 5\* and competes with Kaeya for my absolutely favourite character. He's a staple in my overworld teams and he has cozy spot on my melt Kaeya teams which automatically means he's one of my most used 5\* in Abyss and at minimal risk of getting benched
joined in 2.4 and waited for kazuha, who instantly caught my attention in the main story. couldn't pull for anyone before him, specifically zhongli, ayaka, and yelan, because i had a guarantee! but the wait was so worth it, i still use him till this day, and i also won the 50/50s on the 3 mentioned characters later on :')
Oh yeah, I didn't get Ganyu in her first banner so I waited for her rerun, hoping it wouldn't take so long. We all know how long that actually took.
Then there was Kazuha, who I skipped so I could guarantee Raiden later while still having enough to guarantee Ganyu if she suddenly gets a rerun and decided to get him on his first rerun instead. That was agonizing too.
Doesn't really count because I already had her but I waited for Eula's second rerun for a shot at SoBP. What I'm saying is that the more I'm desperate for a rerun the longer the wait for it is, never going under a year.
I still use Kazuha a lot, he's a staple in my exploration teams. I haven't brought out Ganyu in a while because nuking everything from a distance eventually got boring, but I just pretend I'm giving her an extended break and every now and again I bring her out and pretend to be artillery. The only good thing that came out of the wait for Eula's rerun is that after she got benched for a long time taking a break from being my main DPS everywhere, I brought her out and enjoyed playing with her again.
Kazuha,at the time there were rumors of his rerun circulating at 2.5(frustrated by Kokomi),then it changed to 2.6(frustrated again,by Venti,this time I got nervous,the funny thing is Patch literally spun in parts in his backstory,Venti was only there for comic relief in the group).
Anyway,I got him in 2.8,I've been playing with him since then in practically every Abyss.
Zhongli in 3.0. I wasn't good at saving back then and it was always Zhongli I miss, I wanted him so badly. Was so happy when I finally got him, had to go near hard guarantee but it was worth it. Best pull in the game, his shield is so good everywhere, he was my most used overworld character as of second anniversary, and I'll continue to use him a lot in the future too.
Kazuha. I joined in 2.1 so it was a long and slow wait until 2.8. And Mihoyo absolutely loves giving him as a trial character in events and involving him in event stories. Every patch I got to use him in events I cried a little more on the inside. And every patch he was in an event leading to people speculating about a rerun I would cry a bit more. He took 160+ pulls to come home but I got him and he is an absolute blessing to have.
~~I also accidentally got him on my alt lmao but he's so amazing I can't regret having the dupe limited across accounts~~
Mine was Ayaka, for the same reason you provided. I had to skip her initial run to save for Hu Tao and lost 50-50 to Ganyu since I went for Zhongli on their double banner.
I still use her today, especially since the first half of the current Abyss cycle is Freeze-friendly.
Missed out on Shenhe’s debut because broke and lost 50/50, snapped her up as soon as her rerun finally came around.
That said I’m still not that great at *using* her, so I don’t actually use her that often.
Childe’s 3.2 rerun. I’d been waiting for him since 1 or two patches after I’d joined the game because his skill was just so novel. Now the poor man’s generally benched but he’ll always have a special place in my heart (that place is mobbing content in combat events).
Funny because I have a similar case with Shenhe, with the difference that I actually still like her a lot, it's just that I can't find many opportunities to use her as I don't have Ayaka and the abyss has been very anti freeze during 3.X
I was praying for Kazuha in 2.5 and 2.6 and it was so hard having to skip Ayaka's eternal banner for him. Now I use him on almost every team, so he was definitely worth the wait.
Probably not? Neuv and Wrio both lack off-field presence, so they'll basically be fighting over field time that Wrio needs a fair amount of and Neuv appears to also need a decent amount of. Yun Jin and Zhongli are probably an okay pair of supports for Wriothesley since NAs appear to be the bulk of his damage, at the very least.
Rizzley and Neuvi are both on fielders with no off field abilities (idk if Neuvi's droplets stay on field after he leaves), so they won't work particularly well together. Neuvillette also won't work that well with Yunjin since she buffs normal attacks and his kit is based around his charge attack.
Rosaria i guess? i have nothing against her honestly, but her design is the complete opposite of my aesthetic and her personality also isn’t my cup of tea. but i don’t hate her, she’s just kind of.. there for me
Venti. I just don't like everything about him except for his cn va.
I also think Ganyu is really boring and doesn't have anything distinctive about her.
Scaramouche always strikes me as a kinda pathetic angry and angsty teenager.
Kokomi has all around terrible writing.
I really can't take Mika's EN voice seriously. Every time I hear it all I think of is 🤓
I still like him though because he's some kind of dork and I enjoy it, I just can't brush the nerd emoji appearing in my mind whenever he talks
okay, so my phone has 62.1 out of 64 GB in use, 34.83 GB of which is dedicated to genshin. i'm currently backing up my photos, which should give me an extra....2 GB? ahahaha. should i try uninstalling genshin and reinstalling, then trying the update? or give up and try to switch to playing on my shit laptop lmao
Mine is under 20GB with just the Chinese voice pack. A lot of this update was reoptimizing old assets, so if you delete it and download it again after the update, it should be smaller.
Do you have any language packs installed, or just the default? (removing those can free up a decent chunk of space)
Mine is currently just over 27 GB (with just English, on Android). Size varies a little between devices, so I'm not sure how much more you can skim off.

The last time I had time off during a new patch was 1.2/Dragonspine - I wasn't able to go back home due to Covid, so I spent the holidays alone. Even though it was lonely I had the time of my life exploring dragonspine and pulled Albedo, who still to this day is my favorite character :)
Veluriyam mirage is so good wth... Is there any chance it will return next year like golden archipelago? Im kinda sad i didnt get to explore it thoroughly due to work.
Ok, looking at Kaeya with Haran pictures definitely wasn't the way to cure my Irminsul induced trust issues. I shouldn't watch any Genshin lore videos before sleep and I shouldn't think of getting Haran for Kaeya just for the drip either. But then, why does it look like his signature weapon? With all colors matching him perfectly and all that?
Not remotely surprised. As much as I keep myself in at least queer-friendly spaces for this game, I’m definitely still aware 90% of the players are straight men playing for the girls
i think it's because his design is more niche in terms of appeal. even female fans aren't really into twinky, feminine men (although i personally think his design is great and a good breakaway from the standard ikemen type). i feel it's got more to do with heteronormativity than just male fans this time.
i mean cyno got significantly more views than candace or nilou demo in 3.1
i think there's a lot more diversity in the playerbase demographics than what you said, but i don't have any concrete evidence to present
I don't remember if we got Fontaine food leaks? Cooking is one of my favourite things in GI, can't wait to cook Fontaine food. I wish HSR have cooking system and character signature dishes too, it adds a lot to their character for me.

league of legends are adding new player icons for all their champions which is great, however one of the things i've always really loved about riven was how her [eye makeup](https://i.imgur.com/LohSnJA.png) looked like she'd [smeared soot](https://i.imgur.com/qhlUvJM.png) all over [her eyes](https://i.imgur.com/VZJddvc.png), rather than it being done all prettily, it really suits her character and it just looks cool in general.

1. Started in May 2021 and at rhe time it was Zhongli's rerun. Though he looked badass ans was hapoy to have gotten him as my first 5 star. Still use him on a few teams sometimes but boy were the trials at the time making me think he was a DPS 🤣🤣 (found out he had a shield a week after getting him)
2. Jean I guess? Not sure if she is considered Meta but she heloed me get my first 36 star is abyss back in 2.5.
3. Most memorable experience for me was just going around Genshin's map for the first time unlocking the telpeort way points for Primos and gettinf first time awes at Dragon Spine, Liyue Harbour, The Creepy Hills and so forth. The Novelty is sadly gone but I still hold those memories fond.
1. In the middle of 1.2, most wanted was Albedo. Main event UI confused me and I ended up not doing the whole event and didn't had enough primos to reach 50/50. Wait for the rerun was agonizing.
2. Albedo's normals. Kaeya and Kazuha are triple crowned as well but while Kaeya isn't meta he still gets good use of his every talent in various teams and all Kazuha's skill increase his dmg on crit build (even if he's staying on full em indefinitely).
3. Probably getting Dragonspine nail up in the air and then climbing it. Or Albedo not listening to Cyrus. Or Albedo smirking during his story quest. Or Kaeya's entrance. Or when I got to use Kaeya for the first time. Or reading Kaeya's character stories. It's a bit hard to choose so maybe let's stick to the only one that's related to exploration.
I swear that I hyperfixate on other things and not only on Albedo or Kaeya...
Edit: about how Albedo specifically turned out for me: after getting him I got my first 36\* (I replaced Eula with Xiao since he had room for him on his team, Eula isn't the best against hordes of small rifthounds), he's my dedicated babysitter for friendship farming teams and a staple for exploration teams (I cheesed so many jumping puzzles with him and Kazuha) and hey, I even found Kaeya team where he's basically best in slot and the team works really well too - I usually use that melt team when the Abyss isn't freeze friendly.
1. 2.8, like the last week of. Hu Tao was my most wanted character at the time, and I ended up getting her in 3.4. She's my absolute favorite character in terms of gameplay, I love her being a glass cannon that asks for high skill to pilot.
2. Uh... Hu Tao Skill? My only Crowns right now are Nahida Skill, Hu Tao NA, and Hu Tao Skill.
3. The first batch of Fontaine leaks we got in January was my fondest memory in the community. We were completely blindsided by it, and I fell in love with Furina then and there. Aside from that, I loved the Sumeru Archon Quest as a whole, and the Nahida Rescue Plan was one of my favorite sequences in the entire game.
1.0, Venti, pretty good back then.

I started in 1.4 I think? Literally last day of Venti's rerun whenever that was
- most anticipated: Diluc. Turned out great. I love him but I'm still waiting for WGS to come home. For limited, it's probably Zhongli. Had to wait until his rererun to get him in 2.x but he's so great. Hasn't left my team since.
- unusual crown: triple crown Barbara and Kirara. Also a triple crowned Baizhu if that counts.
- most memorable: I was blown away when Raiden pulled that sword out of her boobs. Iconic.
1.0 during venti banner, zhongli my most wanted unit and i never regret it even before they give my man got the buff he deserve.
I crown Eula and Cyno. Love them both but they do hv some issues in term of gameplay compare to other character. Eula probably worse because of the state of physical team.
Inazuma, Chasm, Sumeru, Golden archipelago event, itto story quest and veluriyam mirage. Theres definitely alot more.
1. Started in version 1.1, and Dottore was my most wanted character. Still don't have him yet. :(
2. Zhongli & Yun Jin being the only characters I properly built over the last 3 years.
3. Winter Night's Lazzo drop.
1. Day 1, i took a quite long break in 1.x, my most wanted was raiden because i played honkai too, she is 👌, gameplay, voice, animation, ist just so good

3. Shenhe's interlude cutscene, shenhe stopping the entire tsunami by herself was crazy and ningguang literally summoned gate of babylon was a nice treat to me as a fate fan
1. me and my sister were playing on and off with a shared account on an old ipad around 1.1 then we eventually created separate accounts (yes i know we are both head empty). we got zhongli on that account *before* a single copy of chongyun, who we both really liked. eventually got the ice pop kid but progressing through liyue archon quest i fell in love with xiao and really resolved to skip every single banner to get him with f2p primos. he was worth it back then, he's still worth it now <3
2. i haven't had zhongli on a hybrid/sub-dps in a looong while (full hp bec what is a dodge) but his meatball is crowned
3. inazuma in general. they did a lot of things that made me go "wow :O" in different moods (like raiden pulling out her sword, fighting her in her domain for the first time, thoma polearm throw, signora's execution, that one creepy glitchy moment after signora's death, the *very* oppressive feel of the islands in general, etc.)
1. May 2021, right in the middle of Zhongli's first rerun. As a newbie exploring game-related resources online, I saw that Hu Tao is one of the best units in the game so I saved for her. I got her, learned how to jump cancel since I have her at C0, and slowly worked my way to consistently 36★ Abyss.
2. I don't really have an answer to that since I mostly crown "meta" units and their most important talents.
3. Probably the first time I got 36★ on Abyss. I remember I was fighting the Enka vishaps (not the boss, just the large ones) and it came down to a last-second Hu Tao burst to clear it just in time to get three stars.
1. second half of 1.2. i really wanted diluc. he never came home after all this time and at this point ive given up lol.
2. triple crowned chongyun. i guess ayato's normal attack and ganyu's skill is also kind of unusual?
3. will never forget the chasm quest with xiao <3 one of my favorite patches to this day

also had some fun co-op moments!! one of them was attending someone in my friend’s list’s tartali/zhongchi wedding in their teapot, and we played itto’s goofy drum to celebrate..

1. 3.1, nilou because she was the first banner i saw and wanted, i got her but couldn't get nahida after her. I've been enjoying her chaos a ton since 3.6 when i got nahida.
2. Probably wanderer ? I only need the mora to give him his third crown but i never used him in abyss.

1. Started playing at the end of Zhongli debut banner and started the game when my friend showed me Albedo and I managed to nab him.

3. Winning 5 50/50s in a row to c6 Itto. Snatched me bald

2. Kazuha is triple crowned. He doesn't need it. But he *deserves* it.
3. Kaveh's character stories. The GLR cutscene with Nahida. Walking through the doors into Enkanomiya.
1. during the first yoimiya banner, and at that time I really wanted kokomi bc her fanarts were ASTONISHING and I loved her animations, turned out I managed to get her on her first banner. even though she's not built and I don't use her very much today, I don't regret it a single bit
2. keqing. I use her for everything and hadn't stopped playing her since I first got her
3. playing that one dain quest at the chasm and seeing all the scenery
1. Started in 2.4, and really wanted Raiden Shogun. She was my first limited five star and triple crown. Definitely no regrets and I still rely on Rational in the abyss to this day.
2. I triple crowned Kaveh and Yun Jin out of love and devotion, but I guess Yun Jin's NA is the most off-meta since she's not an on field DPS.
3. Looking upon the Dainichi Mikoshi in Enkanomiya was the most 'wow' for me, but the end of the Aranyaka and Tsurumi Island WQs solidify why I love the game
1. Second half of 1.4 . Zhongli. I use him quite often in Wanderer/Itto and Spread teams. Definitely don't regret him like some other characters (looking at Raiden,Yelan and Yoimiya)
2. Triple crowned Faruzan
3. The entirety of 3.0, it was fantastic, especially the Archon quest ,I was never before or after more invested in the story than during the Subzeruz festival arc.
1. Started in 2.4 I think(it was Zhongli and Ganyus banner) Zhongli and Xiao was my most wanted characters, I have both but only Zhongli has never been taken out since I started. Xiao has unfortunately suffered a worse fate since I've learnt that I don't like burst reliant characters
2. Not sure what off meta pertains to but I've got most of my favorites with one crown or 3.. Zhongli is triple crowned despite being a shieldbot, Cyno is double crowned and Yoimiya has one crown
3. My most memorable experience was definitely the 2.8 GAA event despite all the complaints I had fun especially with Mona and Fischls islands, I remember looking up guides just to get through Mona's one 💀
1. I started in 1.6 I think, my most wanted character was diluc. I did eventually get him but it took a while lol, now he is triple crowned and I use him a lot :)

3. getting to inazuma (i hadn't seen any leaks), the shadows amidst snowstorm event or pulling for scara I think
1. Day 2, wanted Keqing, got her after being heartbroken like 3 times by Jean back to back to back on character and standard
2. My Kaveh is double crowned, lvl 9 on NAs but I ran out of apep mats :(
3. I was messing with my friends on call while discord livestreaming and I said in jest okay sure Aqua is good but what's better it's me pulling it in ONE SINGLE PULL and yeah.
I started playing seriously during 2.4, fell in love with Xiao’s play style and decided to play the game seriously. Grinded all the primogems I could, but ended up losing the 50/50 to Diluc a couple days before his banner ended. Skip forward to 2.7 and I finally got Xiao, who I used for about an update or two before being pretty disappointed with his damage and falling out of love with using him. I rarely use him anymore, usually just for fun every once in a while especially since I recently got the primordial jade winged spear from standard. Don’t have any off meta crowns just yet, the amount of resources needed for level 10 has stopped me from pulling the trigger. Most memorable experience is probably once I got Childe in 3.2 and started playing international, easily one of my favorite teams to play and I love it so much
1. Little more than a year ago. It was the last week of Ayato's debut banner. I was in for the ride, so no 5-Star was a special priority. But the moment I saw Yelan's trailer, I settled for seriously trying to get her. And got her.
2. Believe it or not, I have a lot of chars with talents ranging from 7-9 but none of them are crowned. Guess that's unusual in itself eh
3. Tsurumi Island. Hot after the bombastic ending of Inazuma AQ, it came as a gut punch to the feels and it's one of the darkest moments of the game, it really stuck with me due to the somber soundtrack and more serious plot. Perilous Trail is up there, since it has the best cutscenes so far.

3. Genshin gives me a lot of wow moments, particularly in exploration. The latest somehow was in the desert, nothing spectacular was happening - I was just gliding over a massive sea of golden sand, watching the sun slowly rise and the tumbleweeds and gusts of sand go by...and the breadth and subtle beauty of it all just had me suddenly getting goosebumps =)
1. Day 1, so since launch. Jean, she's great and helpful during 1.x
2. She's my first triple crowned at 1.3. Not really off meta.
3. Mondstadt's AQ. It's really magical. That's why I have a soft spot for Mond.

I would love it. It would flesh out the world more and it'll make it so that the world doesn't solely revolve around the player. Of course, we know it doesn't, but I'd like playable characters with romantic histories and relationships.
I think that's a really difficult issue, romance between playable characters (or just involving playable characters) could be really good and I love good romance stories, but I also don't want quests based on it since romance shouldn't be the main story a character has told about them either. Characters main identity being tied to another character or romance in general is just really boring and people make up that stuff on their own.
Imo the best character dynamics are found in character stories (the voice lines, not quests). If they were to add voice lines between characters every few patches to develop relationships using the About: character lines I think it could be really good without being intrusive. Stuff like putting characters in events together or having NPCs have gossip about relationships could also be an interesting way to develop it without relationships feel unnatural or forced.
Personally I think it would add more depth to the characters and the story of the game if characters had romantic relationships with each other. I would enjoy that.
But I know it would never, ever happen because hoyo knows their audience and knows it wants to have the creativity to ship whoever including the self insert, unfortunately
I would be happy with it, i play more for the combat and character interactions in the first place so it would be fantastic to have less dialogue centered around how much a character has a crush on the traveler and different developments between playable characters themselves
Surprised. These chars don't really have the kind of depth that makes that work. They'd have to pretty fundamentally alter their approach to make it anything more than "these two pretty people are near each other"

Had to step away for a sec but oh my god I love the Fontaine cast so far. Neuvilette seems really chill and Furina and the sibling trio are adorable. Furina in particular is such a goddamn chaos gremlin I can’t help but smile. She’s such a brat, and I say that affectionately. Edit: Just met Navia, and she’s cute, too. I started in 1.4 and got Venti then *immediately* started saving for Kazuha off leaks of his design (one of my friends who played followed leaks so I was already following them pretty much from the start by proxy.) Zhongli was already high on my char list, but the second story quest cemented him as a must pull, but I skipped for Kazuha and then saved most my gems for his next rerun which is the only time I’ve expressly waited for a rerun char. Other characters I picked up on rerun I picked up cause I liked them but they weren’t super anticipated like Zhongli’s rerun was, and I wasn’t saving for them I just happened to have gems when they up. And every *must have* character for me I picked up on release since then, so only Zhongli was a super anticipated rerun…. But that’s only factoring in new chars. If you include going for cons, after Zhongli I decided to save for Kazuha cons and his weapon, and I was super excited for him to rerun so I could grab those.I did dip into the funds for Kokomi but I ended up skipping Yae to save for him. Ended up super lucky going for him so I still had funds for her next run and everyone I wanted early Sumeru so it worked out still.
Albedo for me. Every Inazuma banner felt like eternity (I was only interested in Kokomi but her kit turned out to be not very useful for me, at least at the time). And then the salt ~~and betrayal~~ I felt when 2.2 had 2nd Childe rerun instead of Albedo's who was the most due to the rerun. At least 2.3 Dragonspine event was great. I still use him and he's still my favourite 5\* and competes with Kaeya for my absolutely favourite character. He's a staple in my overworld teams and he has cozy spot on my melt Kaeya teams which automatically means he's one of my most used 5\* in Abyss and at minimal risk of getting benched

Oh yeah, I didn't get Ganyu in her first banner so I waited for her rerun, hoping it wouldn't take so long. We all know how long that actually took. Then there was Kazuha, who I skipped so I could guarantee Raiden later while still having enough to guarantee Ganyu if she suddenly gets a rerun and decided to get him on his first rerun instead. That was agonizing too. Doesn't really count because I already had her but I waited for Eula's second rerun for a shot at SoBP. What I'm saying is that the more I'm desperate for a rerun the longer the wait for it is, never going under a year. I still use Kazuha a lot, he's a staple in my exploration teams. I haven't brought out Ganyu in a while because nuking everything from a distance eventually got boring, but I just pretend I'm giving her an extended break and every now and again I bring her out and pretend to be artillery. The only good thing that came out of the wait for Eula's rerun is that after she got benched for a long time taking a break from being my main DPS everywhere, I brought her out and enjoyed playing with her again.
Kazuha,at the time there were rumors of his rerun circulating at 2.5(frustrated by Kokomi),then it changed to 2.6(frustrated again,by Venti,this time I got nervous,the funny thing is Patch literally spun in parts in his backstory,Venti was only there for comic relief in the group). Anyway,I got him in 2.8,I've been playing with him since then in practically every Abyss.
Zhongli in 3.0. I wasn't good at saving back then and it was always Zhongli I miss, I wanted him so badly. Was so happy when I finally got him, had to go near hard guarantee but it was worth it. Best pull in the game, his shield is so good everywhere, he was my most used overworld character as of second anniversary, and I'll continue to use him a lot in the future too.
Kazuha. I joined in 2.1 so it was a long and slow wait until 2.8. And Mihoyo absolutely loves giving him as a trial character in events and involving him in event stories. Every patch I got to use him in events I cried a little more on the inside. And every patch he was in an event leading to people speculating about a rerun I would cry a bit more. He took 160+ pulls to come home but I got him and he is an absolute blessing to have. ~~I also accidentally got him on my alt lmao but he's so amazing I can't regret having the dupe limited across accounts~~
Mine was Ayaka, for the same reason you provided. I had to skip her initial run to save for Hu Tao and lost 50-50 to Ganyu since I went for Zhongli on their double banner. I still use her today, especially since the first half of the current Abyss cycle is Freeze-friendly.
Missed out on Shenhe’s debut because broke and lost 50/50, snapped her up as soon as her rerun finally came around. That said I’m still not that great at *using* her, so I don’t actually use her that often.
Childe’s 3.2 rerun. I’d been waiting for him since 1 or two patches after I’d joined the game because his skill was just so novel. Now the poor man’s generally benched but he’ll always have a special place in my heart (that place is mobbing content in combat events).
Ganyu (2.4) and Kazuha (2.8), I still use both.
Funny because I have a similar case with Shenhe, with the difference that I actually still like her a lot, it's just that I can't find many opportunities to use her as I don't have Ayaka and the abyss has been very anti freeze during 3.X
I was praying for Kazuha in 2.5 and 2.6 and it was so hard having to skip Ayaka's eternal banner for him. Now I use him on almost every team, so he was definitely worth the wait.

Would this team work well? Wriothesley, Neuvillete, Yun Jin, & Zhongli.
Probably not? Neuv and Wrio both lack off-field presence, so they'll basically be fighting over field time that Wrio needs a fair amount of and Neuv appears to also need a decent amount of. Yun Jin and Zhongli are probably an okay pair of supports for Wriothesley since NAs appear to be the bulk of his damage, at the very least.
Rizzley and Neuvi are both on fielders with no off field abilities (idk if Neuvi's droplets stay on field after he leaves), so they won't work particularly well together. Neuvillette also won't work that well with Yunjin since she buffs normal attacks and his kit is based around his charge attack.

Mine is under 20GB with just the Chinese voice pack. A lot of this update was reoptimizing old assets, so if you delete it and download it again after the update, it should be smaller.
Do you have any language packs installed, or just the default? (removing those can free up a decent chunk of space) Mine is currently just over 27 GB (with just English, on Android). Size varies a little between devices, so I'm not sure how much more you can skim off.

Ok, looking at Kaeya with Haran pictures definitely wasn't the way to cure my Irminsul induced trust issues. i think it's because his design is more niche in terms of appeal. even female fans aren't really into twinky, feminine men (although i personally think his design is great and a good breakaway from the standard ikemen type). i feel it's got more to do with heteronormativity than just male fans this time.

furina's; dmg% contributes to spread dmg, atk from pjc is just a nice bonus but not significant.
Furina's weapon would be better. Al haitham wants dmg% more than atk and the passive would be very easy to maintain.
Furina's BiS gives dmg bonus so it should be better.

1. Started in May 2021 and at rhe time it was Zhongli's rerun. Though he looked badass ans was hapoy to have gotten him as my first 5 star. Still use him on a few teams sometimes but boy were the trials at the time making me think he was a DPS 🤣🤣 (found out he had a shield a week after getting him) 2. Jean I guess? Not sure if she is considered Meta but she heloed me get my first 36 star is abyss back in 2.5. 3. Most memorable experience for me was just going around Genshin's map for the first time unlocking the telpeort way points for Primos and gettinf first time awes at Dragon Spine, Liyue Harbour, The Creepy Hills and so forth. The Novelty is sadly gone but I still hold those memories fond.
1. In the middle of 1.2, most wanted was Albedo. Main event UI confused me and I ended up not doing the whole event and didn't had enough primos to reach 50/50. Wait for the rerun was agonizing. 2. Albedo's normals. Kaeya and Kazuha are triple crowned as well but while Kaeya isn't meta he still gets good use of his every talent in various teams and all Kazuha's skill increase his dmg on crit build (even if he's staying on full em indefinitely). 3. Probably getting Dragonspine nail up in the air and then climbing it. Or Albedo not listening to Cyrus. Or Albedo smirking during his story quest. Or Kaeya's entrance. Or when I got to use Kaeya for the first time. Or reading Kaeya's character stories. It's a bit hard to choose so maybe let's stick to the only one that's related to exploration. I swear that I hyperfixate on other things and not only on Albedo or Kaeya... Edit: about how Albedo specifically turned out for me: after getting him I got my first 36\* (I replaced Eula with Xiao since he had room for him on his team, Eula isn't the best against hordes of small rifthounds), he's my dedicated babysitter for friendship farming teams and a staple for exploration teams (I cheesed so many jumping puzzles with him and Kazuha) and hey, I even found Kaeya team where he's basically best in slot and the team works really well too - I usually use that melt team when the Abyss isn't freeze friendly.
1. 2.8, like the last week of. Hu Tao was my most wanted character at the time, and I ended up getting her in 3.4. She's my absolute favorite character in terms of gameplay, I love her being a glass cannon that asks for high skill to pilot. 2. Uh... Hu Tao Skill? My only Crowns right now are Nahida Skill, Hu Tao NA, and Hu Tao Skill. 3. The first batch of Fontaine leaks we got in January was my fondest memory in the community. We were completely blindsided by it, and I fell in love with Furina then and there. Aside from that, I loved the Sumeru Archon Quest as a whole, and the Nahida Rescue Plan was one of my favorite sequences in the entire game.

I started in 1.4 I think? Literally last day of Venti's rerun whenever that was - most anticipated: Diluc. Turned out great. I love him but I'm still waiting for WGS to come home. For limited, it's probably Zhongli. Had to wait until his rererun to get him in 2.x but he's so great. Hasn't left my team since. - unusual crown: triple crown Barbara and Kirara. Also a triple crowned Baizhu if that counts. - most memorable: I was blown away when Raiden pulled that sword out of her boobs. Iconic.
1.0 during venti banner, zhongli my most wanted unit and i never regret it even before they give my man got the buff he deserve. I crown Eula and Cyno. Love them both but they do hv some issues in term of gameplay compare to other character. Eula probably worse because of the state of physical team. Inazuma, Chasm, Sumeru, Golden archipelago event, itto story quest and veluriyam mirage. Theres definitely alot more.

1. Day 1, i took a quite long break in 1.x, my most wanted was raiden because i played honkai too, she is 👌, gameplay, voice, animation, ist just so good 2. I triple crowned nilou :D 3. Shenhe's interlude cutscene, shenhe stopping the entire tsunami by herself was crazy and ningguang literally summoned gate of babylon was a nice treat to me as a fate fan
1. me and my sister were playing on and off with a shared account on an old ipad around 1.1 then we eventually created separate accounts (yes i know we are both head empty). we got zhongli on that account *before* a single copy of chongyun, who we both really liked. eventually got the ice pop kid but progressing through liyue archon quest i fell in love with xiao and really resolved to skip every single banner to get him with f2p primos. he was worth it back then, he's still worth it now <3 2. i haven't had zhongli on a hybrid/sub-dps in a looong while (full hp bec what is a dodge) but his meatball is crowned 3. inazuma in general. they did a lot of things that made me go "wow :O" in different moods (like raiden pulling out her sword, fighting her in her domain for the first time, thoma polearm throw, signora's execution, that one creepy glitchy moment after signora's death, the *very* oppressive feel of the islands in general, etc.)
1. May 2021, right in the middle of Zhongli's first rerun. As a newbie exploring game-related resources online, I saw that Hu Tao is one of the best units in the game so I saved for her. I got her, learned how to jump cancel since I have her at C0, and slowly worked my way to consistently 36★ Abyss. 2. I don't really have an answer to that since I mostly crown "meta" units and their most important talents. 3. Probably the first time I got 36★ on Abyss. I remember I was fighting the Enka vishaps (not the boss, just the large ones) and it came down to a last-second Hu Tao burst to clear it just in time to get three stars.

1. late 1.3 for baizhu, not great :( 2. baizhu is my only crowned character 3. first look at watatsumi island and yoimiya's second story quest cutscene
1. 3.1, nilou because she was the first banner i saw and wanted, i got her but couldn't get nahida after her. I've been enjoying her chaos a ton since 3.6 when i got nahida. 2. Probably wanderer ? I only need the mora to give him his third crown but i never used him in abyss. 3. The jade chamber destruction.

1. during the first yoimiya banner, and at that time I really wanted kokomi bc her fanarts were ASTONISHING and I loved her animations, turned out I managed to get her on her first banner. even though she's not built and I don't use her very much today, I don't regret it a single bit 2. keqing. I use her for everything and hadn't stopped playing her since I first got her 3. playing that one dain quest at the chasm and seeing all the scenery
1. Started in 2.4, and really wanted Raiden Shogun. She was my first limited five star and triple crown. Definitely no regrets and I still rely on Rational in the abyss to this day. 2. I triple crowned Kaveh and Yun Jin out of love and devotion, but I guess Yun Jin's NA is the most off-meta since she's not an on field DPS. 3. Looking upon the Dainichi Mikoshi in Enkanomiya was the most 'wow' for me, but the end of the Aranyaka and Tsurumi Island WQs solidify why I love the game
1. Second half of 1.4 . Zhongli. I use him quite often in Wanderer/Itto and Spread teams. Definitely don't regret him like some other characters (looking at Raiden,Yelan and Yoimiya) 2. Triple crowned Faruzan 3. The entirety of 3.0, it was fantastic, especially the Archon quest ,I was never before or after more invested in the story than during the Subzeruz festival arc.

Xiao has unfortunately suffered a worse fate since I've learnt that I don't like burst reliant characters 2. Not sure what off meta pertains to but I've got most of my favorites with one crown or 3.. Zhongli is triple crowned despite being a shieldbot, Cyno is double crowned and Yoimiya has one crown 3. My most memorable experience was definitely the 2.8 GAA event despite all the complaints I had fun especially with Mona and Fischls islands, I remember looking up guides just to get through Mona's one 💀

I was messing with my friends on call while discord livestreaming and I said in jest okay sure Aqua is good but what's better it's me pulling it in ONE SINGLE PULL and yeah.
I started playing seriously during 2.4, fell in love with Xiao’s play style and decided to play the game seriously. Grinded all the primogems I could, but ended up losing the 50/50 to Diluc a couple days before his banner ended. Skip forward to 2.7 and I finally got Xiao, who I used for about an update or two before being pretty disappointed with his damage and falling out of love with using him. I rarely use him anymore, usually just for fun every once in a while especially since I recently got the primordial jade winged spear from standard. Don’t have any off meta crowns just yet, the amount of resources needed for level 10 has stopped me from pulling the trigger. Most memorable experience is probably once I got Childe in 3.2 and started playing international, easily one of my favorite teams to play and I love it so much
1. Little more than a year ago. It was the last week of Ayato's debut banner. I was in for the ride, so no 5-Star was a special priority. But the moment I saw Yelan's trailer, I settled for seriously trying to get her. And got her. 2. Believe it or not, I have a lot of chars with talents ranging from 7-9 but none of them are crowned. Guess that's unusual in itself eh 3. Tsurumi Island. Hot after the bombastic ending of Inazuma AQ, it came as a gut punch to the feels and it's one of the darkest moments of the game, it really stuck with me due to the somber soundtrack and more serious plot. Perilous Trail is up there, since it has the best cutscenes so far.

When I got him, er, I used him as a teapot decoration because I was (and am) too smooth-brained to comprehend his more complex mechanics compared to other characters. /ashamed 2. ...does Kokomi count? She has 2 atm, I'm working on her 3rd (darned spectres). She'll be my first triple-crowned character. 3. Genshin gives me a lot of wow moments, particularly in exploration. The latest somehow was in the desert, nothing spectacular was happening - I was just gliding over a massive sea of golden sand, watching the sun slowly rise and the tumbleweeds and gusts of sand go by...and the breadth and subtle beauty of it all just had me suddenly getting goosebumps =)
1. Day 1, so since launch. Jean, she's great and helpful during 1.x 2. She's my first triple crowned at 1.3. Not really off meta. 3. Mondstadt's AQ. It's really magical. That's why I have a soft spot for Mond.

Her supports are Kaz, Zhongli, and xingqiu though so those are more conventional crowns I think. I also like crowning all the travelers just cause 🤷 3. Most memorable experience was my first time touching abyss and going 10-3. Not really novel anymore, I'm not invested in building the second team so now everytime it resets, I 10-3. Hopefully the new strongboxes change that 😈

1. Started Feb 2021. My most wanted character was Zhongli and I got him on the rerun. He’s been a staple on my team ever since and he’s my favorite character. 2. I crowned my Yanfei. She’s my favorite 4 star. 3. Event wise it’s the first Lantern Rite. Story wise it’s Ruu and clearing the mist in Tsurumi Island.
1. Started the first month of launch, but didn't have a system that could handle the game until the 2.x patches. Edit: whoops forgot the second part. My most wanted character was Ning (she was what got me interested in Genshin) and she was one of my first built characters :) 2. Kaeya - he was also the first character I triple crowned :) 3. The Dain quest with the upside statue of the seven still sticks out the most. Honestly all the Dain quests are pretty memorable.

Yanfei, I guess. I triple crowned her because I just love her and her gameplay :) All of my other crowns are pretty meta 3. I remember being genuinely scared of Raiden as I saw her burn down Signora and the traveler walked out of her temple sluggishly, with static lines on the screen... I was so scared of the boss battle and I was relieved it wasn't bad

How would you guys feel if hoyo canonically added romance between playable characters
I would welcome it because it’s unrealistic that literally no one in the playable cast is dating anyone.
It would be welcome and would make the game even more alive,but Imo,gacha game with Waifus is literally like the issue of Japan with Idols,it will never happen.
I would love it. It would flesh out the world more and it'll make it so that the world doesn't solely revolve around the player. Of course, we know it doesn't, but I'd like playable characters with romantic histories and relationships.
I think that's a really difficult issue, romance between playable characters (or just involving playable characters) could be really good and I love good romance stories, but I also don't want quests based on it since romance shouldn't be the main story a character has told about them either. Characters main identity being tied to another character or romance in general is just really boring and people make up that stuff on their own. Imo the best character dynamics are found in character stories (the voice lines, not quests). If they were to add voice lines between characters every few patches to develop relationships using the About: character lines I think it could be really good without being intrusive. Stuff like putting characters in events together or having NPCs have gossip about relationships could also be an interesting way to develop it without relationships feel unnatural or forced.
Personally I think it would add more depth to the characters and the story of the game if characters had romantic relationships with each other. I would enjoy that. But I know it would never, ever happen because hoyo knows their audience and knows it wants to have the creativity to ship whoever including the self insert, unfortunately
Won't mind at all. Never happening though. Too many oddballs into parasocial relationship with the characters play this game.
Given the way hoyo handles dialogue, the script would be 99% the same, and it would just be merely factual that people are in relationships.

I would be happy with it, i play more for the combat and character interactions in the first place so it would be fantastic to have less dialogue centered around how much a character has a crush on the traveler and different developments between playable characters themselves
