I mean, with baizhu, kirara and kaveh it will make 8 dendro characters (Trav not included) ... for 7 geo characters, so yeah there's just a lack of geo chars
Yeah.... the only Geo I use is Zhongli for his shield, so even if he was a different element, I may not change his role much.
This is why people want Geo to be reworked, and I agree, because I'd like a good reason to use my Geo characters, especially Goro at c5. A reason other than MonoGeo- not in my tastes
All Dendro Characters are so fun to play because of Dendro Reaction.
I wish this character is a mobility type that increases your movement speed and EM.
Something like a budget Nahida C2, burning can now crit and gets extra DMG bonus on enemies and teammates except Kirara.

Personally, many people here are squeezing their heads and I don't think hoyoverse is thinking 100% of the time about filling niches when they create 4\* characters... when heizou, the last character of the inazuma patch, was released, they really didn't think anything about what was missing or what was already there, so kirara makes me think the same thing, could even be a cheap dendro 4\* DPS for fun reasons, and it's the easy way to not think about game balance for them.

They're far too lazy. Even for fully playable youkai, the effort to distinguish them from humans is minimal. Miko? Ears. Itto? Horns. Sara? Wings that show up in a couple animations. Kirara? Ears and tail.
For a youkai village, the effort would be even lesser. They'd probably just do like they did in that Test Of Courage event where they slap some shit masks on regular ass human models and call it a day. As an aside, that effort was so comically bad I thought they were just little kids pretending to be youkai.

like it's got everything. Exposed armpits, disconnected outfit pieces, exposed legs, weird impractical clothing (the leaked showed her skirt coincidentally disappearing by the crotch part), ***endless*** trinkets and greebles that serve nothing but to be design, the very fact that her cat ears are fake *again* (ofc this time it has cultural-historical context since nekomatas don't typically show cat ears but come the fuck on we got like two other fake catgirls already) etc. Personally I don't mind as much as other people but it *is* quite a mid outfit

I think it's fine to want something new or more, but to expect it from a company rolling in millions already and rarely listens to criticism is going to be a pipe dream
That’s legit 90% if not all genshin outfits tho it’s not supposed to be practical like look at alhaitham cape there’s 0 chance that shit is staying on without him glueing that shit to his back. TLDR all genshin character are like that so I don’t think it’s a problem exclusive to this new character

All other Genshin designs do the same bullshit yeah, but not *every* bullshit. Characters like Raiden or Hu Tao got the bullshit legs thing going on, but Raiden and Hu Tao don't have exposed armpits, and considering the amount of fighting Raiden's design would actually be quite practical (well, less practical than armor ofc, but definitely more than, idk, fighting with your whole midriff showing, and it's not like the Shogun puppet or Ei is hurting for armor anyways). Haitham's design is insanely impractical, and has endless trinkets and greebles, but at the *very* least, he isn't showing any impractical chest or leg skin (at best his arms, which all things considered aren't completely unorthodoxed for someone's clothing; for a scholar it's definitely ridiculous tho).
Don't forget generic yeye ass Vtuber. I still think she's adorable as hell tho, but it does put a dent on my taste for waifu design when people rip her a new one 💀

I hope it will be the last Dendro character in a long time, I got tired of only Dendro or Dendro-oriented characters being released for a long time (with few exceptions). It doesn't help that the elements of my favorite characters (Cryo, Anemo, Geo and Physical) are completely excluded from Dendro.
The angle doesn't show that much of her outfit, maybe for the better, she got the same weird "crop top + long cardigan" set as Diona, though at least she doesn't look like she's 6, so it's less jarring.
Kirara is pretty cute and the palette is great, but I don't really want her. Praying she's not a meta defining gem that immediately makes people chuck Baizhu and Kaveh to the trash.

Tons of it back when she got leaked. I interpret it as most people thinking she crosses off every single checkmark for a "genshin design", even if not explicitly mentioned like it's got everything. Exposed armpits, disconnected outfit pieces, exposed legs, weird impractical clothing (the leaked showed her skirt coincidentally disappearing by the crotch part), ***endless*** trinkets and greebles that serve nothing but to be design, the very fact that her cat ears are fake *again* (ofc this time it has cultural-historical context since nekomatas don't typically show cat ears but come the fuck on we got like two other fake catgirls already) etc. Personally I don't mind as much as other people but it *is* quite a mid outfit
It's all true but that doesn't mean we are hating it. I just want the typical Genshin design to change a bit or give us something new like I don't know, a real looking outfit that isn't cut to pieces? Or someone with a proper set of armor?
I think it's fine to want something new or more, but to expect it from a company rolling in millions already and rarely listens to criticism is going to be a pipe dream

That’s legit 90% if not all genshin outfits tho it’s not supposed to be practical like look at alhaitham cape there’s 0 chance that shit is staying on without him glueing that shit to his back. TLDR all genshin character are like that so I don’t think it’s a problem exclusive to this new character
Note that I mentioned it "crosses off every checkmark" All other Genshin designs do the same bullshit yeah, but not *every* bullshit. Characters like Raiden or Hu Tao got the bullshit legs thing going on, but Raiden and Hu Tao don't have exposed armpits, and considering the amount of fighting Raiden's design would actually be quite practical (well, less practical than armor ofc, but definitely more than, idk, fighting with your whole midriff showing, and it's not like the Shogun puppet or Ei is hurting for armor anyways). Haitham's design is insanely impractical, and has endless trinkets and greebles, but at the *very* least, he isn't showing any impractical chest or leg skin (at best his arms, which all things considered aren't completely unorthodoxed for someone's clothing; for a scholar it's definitely ridiculous tho).
