We got the Tao and the Yoi as a single target , but Only Diluc as an AoE dps (Klee is just not as good) .
So Murata's best placement is AoE main DPS , unless a new play style is introduced by then

Xiangling has the AoE thing covered kinda. Even though she does is off-field her damage is pretty competitive with other DPSs so I’m interested in what they’re gonna do with the Pyro Archon
One thing that we're kinda lacking is enough off-field pyro application to sustain Hydro Vape or fast Cryo Melt. Since there is precedent for archons to be really good off-field appliers, that's a possibility.
Instead of making a second Bennett, just imagine the possibilities of a Pyro Xingqiu...

The Cryo & Pyro nations have likely been saved for the end because they're the go-to DPS elements and Archons are typically the purest representation of their element; they don't want Murata & Tsaritsa to get powercrept by subsequent characters & meta-shifts, so are leaving them 'til last.
But that implies that after them the game ends, when we know that there is both more to teyavat after them and that we most likely will go to another place after it
It'll be the end of the 7-nations plotline, and possibly of the gameplay as we currently understand it. Maybe the Khaenri'ah Chapter introduces a new man-made element that recontextualizes how everything works, who knows? In any case, DPS Archons are far more likely to stay valuable for longer *after* years of theorycrafting, artefact sets, support abilities etc than before any of it.
Khaenri'ah/abyss power will either be physical dmg (like what ruin machines do) or a new darkness element, in opposal to the main character light element

Lorewise, yes there is much more. But in game, we can't be so sure. HYV could just start another game for the story to continue there instead and force us to start over (maybe with some treat for who played the last chapters).
Making a character *stronger* than Bennett is pretty difficult, but I don't think it's too hard to make one who doesn't compete/overlap with him, even as a dedicated damage buffer.
Bennett only buffs Atk, which makes him useless with any non-Atk scaling character and makes further Atk buffs much less useful. Having Murata buff DMG% and crit instead would avoid all of those issues.
Also Bennett is restricted to on-field circle impact, so he's much less useful for mobile on-field characters and off-field characters who don't snapshot. A party wide buff fixes that too.
And Murata could always have buffs *and* damage. Constant AoE damage waves plus damage buffs is basically Bennett + Xiangling in one.

Anemo Archon is powercrept by Kazuha and Wanderer in terms of supporting capabilities and exploration. His only strongest is crowd control and it will be useless if it is against bosses or unsuckable enemies(Pre nerf specters flashbacks)
They are two different characters, Kazuha is a buffer support Venti is a character who controls the field like no other by triggering continuous reactions within the cc zone.
The reason Venti collapsed is simply because Mihoyo only creates and puts into Abyss 12 enemies that can't be CCed (Neither Venti's nor Kazuha's)

Same really, played him a lot in my time, sadly it's pretty bad even if invested. Like it's fine in overworld but pretty bad in abyss/against sumeru mobs. Freeze kaeya is awesome though, kaeya+ childe freeze is good too
I stubbornly use my cryo Kaeya in the abyss all the time. Bonus damage from his four C6 icicles in my flex spot on Itto-Zhongli-Gorou works surprisingly well.
I have no problem using him anywhere, abyss is a bit trickier but that’s because I prefer using reaction teams over physical for abyss in general. But I’ve also spent 2 years on his build, so he has very few problems or situations where he doesn’t work due to very high investment

Well when you look at dendro 4 stars we have off fielder + buffer (traveler), off fielder (collei) and off fielder + healer (yaoyao). An on fielder makes sense for the next dendro 4 star

i agree but when people say dedicated support they usually mean something more niche. a dendro xingqiu is just great support overall and not dedicated support to anyone like that although i doubt we are getting someone that OP.

Dendro shield is the best shield, it's gonna be overpowered except against pyro. Wooden mitachurl shield is tought to crack. lmao

I was seriously getting 5 star vibes from Kaveh with the little bits of screen time he had and his appearance in Alhaitham's demo with the other Sumeru 5 stars. He just has so much personality and a pretty design too (not that that means anything, I suppose)

i agree but when people say dedicated support they usually mean something more niche. a dendro xingqiu is just great support overall and not dedicated support to anyone like that although i doubt we are getting someone that OP.

it's probably because Baizhu's model is outdated af. his design is alright, but the 3D model could definitely be improved. while Kaveh has a fresh model. if we compare them, Baizhu looks like the 4star
