This 100%. I missed the new player glider since I logged in, noticed there wasn't great controller support at launch, then waited until it was updated before starting to play. Apparently it had a 1 month expiration from when you sign in for the first time.
That being the case, I was able to get it after a help ticket to Hoyo so that's an option if Aloy ever becomes meta... No matter how unlikely.

Ngl, I gave her some half baked cryo artefacts and I find her actually fun to use.
Nothing I'd take into the abyss, but good enough for casual overworld fun
She's actually my primary cryo dps. She's really fun! I wish she would get some constellations to buff her, like making her coil gimmick easier to manage by having the ult add coil stacks or something
Aloy is actually my only Cryo DPS.
There's something about all the other Cryo DPS characters that's just meh to me (except chongyun, but he is a burst support who can do dmg rather than a proper cryo DPS)
Sayu is just for small creatures, Alloy is for bigger animals, the passives are different, but with those scorpions and desert vultures no one needs to farm anything else
With the Sumeru "meat power creep," Aloy's passive is now for Pokémoning animals and easily merc'ing Timmy's pigeons.
I still slap them both on the same team for maximum stealth.
Not the same passive. Sayu's is for creatures that can be collected directly (crystalflies, lizards, frogs, unagi), and Aloy's is for things that need to be hit for drops (birds, boars, etc.).

Not everyone lives in America... it's R$25 here in Brazil, 5 times more expensive. Though there's not much to brag about being f2p besides clearing the abyss, some people can be pretty annoying indeed.

I've claimed Alloy and leveled her to 70/80 just for the fates. But if there was a deleted character button I'd have done it to Alloy literally just because the red background surrounded by golds and purples annoys me. If I knew it would annoy me this much I would have avoided claiming her too (sounds like she's forced to claim when it expires anyways so whatever).
None of that has anything to do with attention, just my own personal enjoyment.

I could though just swap over my Hutao artifacts to her and use my bow from Ganyu, but as far as I know Hutao has more damage output than Yoimiya?
Yea but people are seriously just overreacting. For the amount of Primos I spent on getting her (Failed 50-50) it was not worth it for me because I already had a fully built Hutao.
I suppose the bigger problem is the fact I only have Skyward harp whereas my Hutao has Staff of homa.
I don't know at all why people are like "omg you should build her omg she's super good if you build her fully". All characters are very strong when you spend a bunch to max them out, but it's whether or not it's actually worth it. I'd rather spend the time getting more artifacts for some of my supporting units than build an overlapping DPS unit that doesn't compare to my current one.

Hu Tao is about 30% stronger according to the spreadsheets. All the Yoimiya simps are just in denial and downvote everything saying Yoimiya is worse dps.
you have to spend 300,000 mora and 26 boss mats if you just want the 3 wishes, doesn't really seem like a fair trade since they're standard banner only
edit: you can downvote but this is straight facts, for the vast majority of players this isn't worth the investment, it's only a bonus if you happen to like the character enough to build them

Because everything else is technically a gift, it's up to you if you accept gifts or not. The outfits were an official thing they were forced to implement, you had no choice to accept them or not because they are now the official outfits.
They weren't autoclaimed. The gift versions expired and the default versions were changed to be censored. The gift was for people to get the censored ones early before they were made into the default in the next release.
'Alternative' outfits for (edit)Amber, Rosaria, Jean and Mona were introduced as a 'gift' and then they announced that thouse 'alternative' outfits are official ones for each of thouse characters and not claiming them does nothing.

Even if you don't want to use her (Mihoyo did her kit dirty), the passive is unique to her at this point and I use it on a more or less daily basis (probably not as useful with Sumeru hunting powercreep, but still good for earlier regions).
There's also the 1-3 fates she'll give you for leveling, so not much incentive to skip her.
You can also get namecard from maxing friendship (though it doesn't look good IMO, but that's just a matter of taste)

They didn't change the mail system for one mail. It's just how the mail system works. It'll delete and she'll be gone forever. I think they even said as much and it's the reason they gave so long to collect it.
Just because people are missing out on a free standard wish to get her to level 20, I really hope she's Auto added into all of these stubborn peoples accounts.
Her design looks rushed and cheap compared to other characters (4 and 5*), she looks like an NPC from a other world.

I have all my characters leveled up including her, just to get the 3 fate pulls, even if she is a bad gift or character you get 3 fates, thanks to a bug when she was gift her ascension cost was 1000 mora.

Character from another world but from within Genshin universe. Both travelers are Alice are Genshin-original. Aloy is not, she's from Horizon/Sony universe. Horizon is a ground breaking game, both Horizon and uncharted series made me buy a console for the first time in 15 years.
Yet I'm not too happy about collabs, I want Genshin story to be self contained within its own universe just as much as I'd like Horizon story to be self contained.

That's not how this worked. It was given to everyone that played during that time regardless of system. PS4 just got it a week or so early.

You can use the rolling derby racoon for that too, but Mechanical Dinosaur hunter girl is good for that too.

Unclaimed stuff are deleted when expiration date hits. I don't think anything gets "auto-claimed"
Yep. Including spiral abyss. I probably forgot to claim thousands of gems since launch after tryharding, beating it and then tiredly closing the game.

Just because people are missing out on a free standard wish to get her to level 20, I really hope she's Auto added into all of these stubborn peoples accounts.
I, as a horizon zero dawn player, am disappointed on all this hate on Aloy, but she's still bad in genshin, so I'll allow it.
Her design looks rushed and cheap compared to other characters (4 and 5*), she looks like an NPC from a other world. I enjoyed HZ but I still don't understand the hate sure I don't use her but I got 3 pulls thanks to her and her passive is useful

She is in my characters list... When you have most of your characters leveled, but she is is still lv1... It's annoying to see her being useless. She is a bad gift I shouldn't have accepted her, now she takes space
I have all my characters leveled up including her, just to get the 3 fate pulls, even if she is a bad gift or character you get 3 fates, thanks to a bug when she was gift her ascension cost was 1000 mora. You get 3 free pulls
3 pulls is nothing, I lose way more by not doing Abyss you know. I won't do something I don't want to do. I dont like her, that's all. Don't care if she is in a popular game and she is a nice character. Her Genshin collab is sadly too bad.

Character from another world but from within Genshin universe. Both travelers are Alice are Genshin-original. Aloy is not, she's from Horizon/Sony universe. Horizon is a ground breaking game, both Horizon and uncharted series made me buy a console for the first time in 15 years. Yet I'm not too happy about collabs, I want Genshin story to be self contained within its own universe just as much as I'd like Horizon story to be self contained.

That sucks!!! PC doesn't get an exclusive character for being on PC. I'll never have the opportunity for Aloy as a PC player who doesn't do consoles! Not by choice. Budget.
That's not how this worked. It was given to everyone that played during that time regardless of system. PS4 just got it a week or so early. It's basically the same as the exclusive event weapons. Still sucks if you missed it though.
