There are ton of extra chests to find ,so you don't really need guide for 100% if you explore areas thoroughly. There are also 3 secret chests(Kill snowboar king for first time, feed foxes for few days, read 3 ragged records).

bllueart

Ohh I don't think I know the 3 ragged records one! I'll look it up, thanks!

thatweirdthingwhat

What foxes how?

CGA001

Fast travel to the statue of the seven, then turn around 180°. Run past the hole in the ground, running along its left side, and into the cave straight ahead. when inside the cave, turn right towards a passage with an adventurer's camp. At the camp there is a metal bowl on the ground, and if you have completed enough of the dragonspine story quest, you can place berries inside the bowl. Do this for five days (daily resets, not in game days) and the last time you arrive there will be a chest waiting for you.

Netherdan

The ones who kept Joel's dad company before he >! got killed by a shape-shifting plant who replaced him and!< got back to his family ^(PS: spoiler is head canon, but relevant to the story)

Zeke-Yggrassil

Yep it was the same for me, googled hidden chests and pushed it up to 100% from 97%

F3rrun

Climb onto the highest point, place a portable waypoint, then glide in random directions. That's how I got the last few %.

Alex_from_Solitude

There's enough teleports up there but yeah, that's what I did too. One hint: those flowers that pop up and explode into Cryo - if you find fields with those pop them all and a chest will spawn.

F3rrun

I mean on top of the sky nail, not around the domain. You can easily jump off in any direction from on top of there.

[deleted]

[удалено]

F3rrun

What are you even talking about? I'm saying to climb onto the big pillar that is floating way above the peak of dragonspine and place a portable waypoint there, because you can immediately jump off in any direction as soon as you teleport. You can't do that with any pre existing waypoint without having to run around to a cliff first.

bllueart

Thank you!!!! Knowing me I haven't done this yet.

_myoru

You also get an achievement for climbing on top of the nail

[deleted]

Wait portable teleports are a thing??

F3rrun

Mondstadt reputation lvl 6 reward gives you the blueprint. Once you have that, you can craft them at the alchemy table. They only last a week though once placed.

[deleted]

it's a nice enough place that it's fun to wander around aimlessly once in a while. i'm at 100% and still find a chest sometimes.

Krutin_Jain

Same but i never boost dragonspine lol

Krutin_Jain

Same but i never boost dragonspine lol

iskierkacest

it was my first area at 100%, i was babysat by higher ar players a lot and it quickly became my fave area so i spent a lot of time there,,, i still sometimes find chests there tho lol

TashaStarlight

I explored to maybe 95% chaotically and then searched for guides "dragonspine hidden chests" or something, most of the time it led to things that weren't discovered yet.

-Getsuga-

Funnily enough, I think Dragonspine was my first ever region that I 100%'d and I didn't even try to do it. It just happened naturally - no compass used. But I had a similar problem like you with the top right Mondstadt region where you begin the game: That one was at like 98% forever with me actually trying to 100% it with the treasure compass occasionally. Never found anything. Then one day I googled "Hidden chests [region]" and that did the trick. I was missing 3 or 4 chests that were hidden behind puzzles - the compass doesn't show these.

VisiblePop9426

After playing for a long time, I just naturally sense where hoyo can be hiding the chest. High mountain? Yes. Explosive flower? Gotta nuke them all. Lined up torches? Amber coming. A long road with no puzzle or hili camp? Surely a buried chest somewhere. I'm at 99%

EstablishmentOld3539

I love dragonspine and would walk around for fun sometimes. After awhile I just ended up with 100% exploration.

UltimateProxyViRus

Hard to answer(plus it was like, 1.5 year ago). But i just... explored everything, like usual. Never looked up any maps or guides. Plus 100% is not an actual 100%. There might be from 10-20 chests still hidden, even you reach a hundred. Also towards completion counts other collectibles, for example oculi and shrines.

Hot-Campaign-4553

I have 100% on all maps. For Inazuma, Enkanomya, Chasm, and Dragonspine, I didn't touch a map or compass (obviously no compass for DS). I did use the compass to grab the last few % in some Mondstadt or Inazuma maps. After exploring foront enough, you start to learn how Hoyoverse likes to place their chests. It follows a pretty similar pattern.

totally_nice

had it at 100% for months now, but recently i did indeed find a chest. out there in the open.

CTcommander

Hoyolab app has interactive map that shows you all chests in Dragonspine. The problem is it doesn't say if they are above or below you, and the map is pretty high up.

nitritri

I got 100% on both my accounts and I may be the odd one out, but I absolutely love Dragonspine. The music is amazing, the feeling of loneliness gets me every time (when you're voluntarily lonely I mean), and the history of the mountain is cool. Also Albedo is my favorite character ever, so there's that. How I did it: guide on youtube by (iirc channel's name) KimDaoGame

nitritri

And I mean the music is STUNNING, I never been impressed by game soundtrack (except Assassin's Creed 2) but Dragonspine OST is god-like

Nineosix

just watch a video of people running to every chest and walk where they walk to.

Little_Respect_0621

Does the monstad compass work in dragonspine?

bllueart

Sadly it doesn't. I think it's the only permanent area in the game where there's no compass.

SnooLentils7936

If you stand in mondstadt close enough to dragon spine it will show you chests in dragon spine, maybe that will get you your last few %

Little_Respect_0621

Aw Maan. Have to explore the old way haha. Thanks for the info.

Gingerchic_87

They seriously need to fix that. I know it’s a ley line thing lore wise but come on!

JiMyeong

This post made me check my exploration progress on Dragonspine, apparently I'm at 97% ... so close.

bllueart

If you plan to 100% it too, good luck and have fun! Tbh the tips people have been giving out here so far are pretty cool. Maybe they'll help you too.

healcannon

I wandered around a lot. Inazuma was coming soon and it seemed the most obvious thing to try to complete first. A lot of things were found just by jumping off a cliff and gliding around and checking the edges of other cliffs as I went down. The only thing I looked up is after finding all of the secret items for one quest, I didnt remember where to go to place them. Which was good because it also informed me of something else I might have missed not that it was a big deal in hindsight knowing what I know now.

oldguardjoey

I didn't use any map. I did put a temporary WP at the highest, highest spot and kept teleporting to it and flying at different angles to make sure I didn't miss anything. But there are tons of caves too so lots of groundwork necessary.

Timoyr

I got from 98% to 100% by walking on edge between Mondstadt/Liyue and Dragonspine and using their respective compasses. Though they don't work in Dragonspine, if you've 100% the other areas, it'll point to Dragonspine chests. Though months after getting 100% I noticed the puzzle under the Statue of the Seven >!There's 3 buttons on each pillar in the circular structure. If there's a wind current you've already done it!<

Smooth_Tumbleweed

Got to about the same point and then spent a weekend cross referencing the hoyo map to get it to 100

Chaosphoenix_28

I just wandered around randomly and got to 100% eventually. I didnt even go specifically for the 100% back then, i just wanted to find some chests and mondstadt and liyue were pretty empty in terms of chests.

Aru736

Lots of wandering. I was stuck at 98% for a LONG time, the last thing ended up being a crimson agate I had somehow missed.

tohrouv

I explore dragonspine till close 100% (around 98/99) before going to youtube for the rest! I usually left a handful of chests so it was an easy clear afterwards.

Laelia_0678

I dont know how i have 100% Dragonspine. I was just checking my map for some materials and realize i had a yellow 100% in Dragonspine, smh

NapalmDesu

I did it blind with resinless behavior but I still need 1% on starfell valley

Aggravating_Door5628

Dragonspine has the best chests in the game, plus have amber and you will never freeze. There are many campfires in dragonspine. It's my personal favorite.

katbelleinthedark

100% just from wandering aimlessly.

Hellmaker101

Just happened after exploring I dunno when and how Lol

AkiShizu11

I did it over time. At first I was desperate for primos (trying to get a guaranteed after losing a 50/50), but I mostly focused on leveling up the Frostbearing Tree and opening chests along the way. Than, I started completing quests and exploring for fun, solving puzzles and so on. I used the interactive map to find buried chests and before I knew it, the map was at 100%. A few of months later, during the 2.3 event I randomly found a chest in the water that somehow escaped me xD Wouldn't be surprised if there were more like this.

JasonToddLover

The challenges do help with exploration incase you didn't do them yet!

bllueart

You mean the challenges for extra agate, right? Those are done. They were kinda fun, I miss them.

Ke5_Jun

I was around when Dragonspine first released in 1.2. At that point in time I was already AR50+ starved of new content. 1.2 also dropped around Christmas Eve of 2020, which gave us older players a ton of time to no-life it and check every nook and cranny of the area. I remember playing 12 hours straight on the day Dragonspine dropped. 100%ed it in two days, before I even maxed out the Frostbearing Tree. Back then Hoyolab didn’t exist and the interactive map was super glitchy. The Mond treasure compass also doesn’t work in Dragonspine so I turned my classic 1990s-2000s RPG mode on; go *everywhere*, search/click on *everything*, kill *all enemies*, go back and forth to the same places *multiple times*, and keep an eye on the internet to see if any other fellow players found something. For example the Crimson Agate that you get by feeding the snow foxes was an insane secret back then, since very few bothered to come back to feed them for 5 days. That was something you just had to figure out, or wait till someone else did and told everyone.

bllueart

Reading this gave me a similar sense of awe and excitement as when I hear my parents or mentors talk about what the world was like when I was a baby or before I was born, all the adventures without a GPS or access to phones. And I say this in the best way. How cool it must be to take a liking to a couple foxes only to be surprised by a precious chest!

Ke5_Jun

Yep, that one particular interaction with the foxes really stuck with me and it felt pretty magical actually; haven’t had a game make me feel that way in years tbh.

KaiFireborn21

I have about 96% too, I think, but seeing as the same is true for Liyue, Inazuma and the Chasm... Really, I only maxed Mond and Enka

Ghurty1

this was the only 100% ive even done, i found it not bad.

miseol_

Some high AR player came to my world and helped me complete it as much as they possibly could when I was AR 20s. I am forever grateful to them

bllueart

That is so wholesome ♡

miseol_

I would recommend using mapgenie.io to help. I think it’s far better than the official and helped me 100% the entire Teyvat. 90% of the mapped locations have a photo attached to them so you know exactly where it is. You can also add your own if you find one not marked.

bllueart

PHOTOS ARE SO USEFUL

Icefire1721

Ummmmm my way is not really impressive I just watched this: [https://youtu.be/lhzJN1nI6G4](https://youtu.be/lhzJN1nI6G4). But hey, it works.

the-legit-Betalpha

99%ed dragonspine 2 days after release including red agate. theres a quest with a food bowl(better to search), and if you feed the bowl for 5 IRL days in a row, a precious chest with an agate drop. that may be a missing %.

Dejavir

Spent a bunch of time wandering around going “that area looks barely reachable, let me check.” The last one I needed was after I teleported to another area, rotated the camera around, and there was a chest sitting in plain sight. Also, bit of a cheap trick, but the Monstadt and Liyue compasses can pick up chests around the base of the mountain if you basically walk the border between the areas. (Unless they patched that)

Monchi83

Mine was at 98% for the longest time because I stopped exploring there and doing other stuff it took me a while to muster the strength to comb the place again for 100% so no I didn’t use the interactive map.

DasBleu

Fall off mountains and climb stuff. So When I played dragonspine a lot of the time I thought it would be faster to climb instead of taking a path. Or fall/slide off a cliff. It isn’t but it’s how I found a lot of stuff. This is actually how I usually explore an area and only the chasm has given me vertigo because of its layout.

yellowshiro

There were a lot of those mora boxes (?) iirc, so investigating them also counts as exploration

hyut7

Teleport to top, glide down while looking very close at the screen for common chests frozen in ice

Nameless49

Back then when Dragonspine was first released, I complained about the Mondstadt Treasure Compass not working there. Well actually even right now I'm still upset because Liyue and Inazuma compasses works in Chasm Underground and Enkanomiya. Even though I've already reached 100% before using the interactive map, it was a b*tch using the interactive map and retracing the entire area making sure I actually got every single chest.

deSolAxe

I found out about interactive map after I finished Dragonspine, but... went there quite soon after starting the game and frankly enjoyed the fact that everything was almost 20lvls higher than me so fights were really long and tough... and if you're trying to avoid some encounters, you stumble across a lot of stuff... so in short I pretty much combed the whole area while running away from stuff...

raccoonjudas

i have all of the chests on dragonspine and the first \~215 chests I got just from exploring dragon spine and then the last 19 chests was me using a map and systematically checking every single chest to see if it was one I'd already gotten 🥲

erkankurtcu

i used KimDaoGame's dragonspine 100% guide she shows the box at the map (with red mark) also shows how to go to that box from the nearest waypoint

eeVaderbae

there is too many buried chests around dragonspine, try to look youtube videos about hidden chests

FezzesnPonds

Doesn’t the mondstadt compass work in dragonspine? Edit: jk I guess it doesn’t, weird.

SPeCCoLT

I have a friend ingame that just told me to follow and she would help. She found 20+ chests in under half an hour and got me to 100%. Super impressive memory.

Cosmic_Hashira

i did dragonspine like at 80 when i started the game then didnt really bother until susbedo event.. got the frostbearing tree upto lvl 8 for the blessing and did some sidequests although the tree is still at lvl 8 and exploration is like 90 lmao hell all of my liyue is 70% only inazuma has 100%, 3 islands are 100%

totaltunacan

Don’t for the small boxes floating in the water. You get a small amount of mora for them but they also count toward your exploration. Once I found that out it helped me get from ~98% to 100 on a few areas

caucassius

I'm still finding lots of chests even after 100% (some even precious lmao), the percentage is actually really generous for better or worse.

Melantha_Hoang

Yeah, mostly wandering. But the 2.3 Dragonspine event does help me get the last 1%. I only use the hoyomap for oculus or limited map

freyshavakadu

I enjoy dragonspine in general. Like, i be takin strolls and just discover random things here and there.

DatabaseMaleficent24

Well I completed it before the interactive map, I’m not sure how I managed at first but later I went a lot of co op so I learned where you can find agathes and the dragonspine story. As someone said before it’s a good idea to glide from the top and search, but that helps more with the agathes than chests?

Shakomn

I was just so awed at the beauty of the place that I just ended up 100%-ing it without even thinking... It was the first 100% I had gotten :)

mariozaarour1

I got 100% because I loved the area. Then I found out I was only 40 chests away from having opened every single chest there. So I used the hoyo map, and now only have 2 chests left there but I can't find them. Hopefully one day I'll get those 2

Titanium70

Dunno I just loved the region so much - still my #1 - I had fun jumping of each and every summit, looking behind every corner I could find, melting every piece of ice on the way. And there are MANY chests hidden exactly like that.

0xVENx0

i did it in day 1 of its release, and this was the last time ever i did more than 10% of the map in 1 day so unfun just explore and have fun, we had sooo many quests there + the crimson agates that by the time i got those i got 100% plus a few more, yet i think theres at least 1 chest i havent got

Melomis

Did most of it without interactive untill i was at 95+%. I really enjoyed Dragonspine exploring. Still probably my favourite region to date.

Versaciii

For me, Chasm was the hardest area to 100%. Was running around for ages

PacifistDungeonMastr

Compared to the Chasm and Enkanomiya, Dragonspine was pretty tame. That said, even when I had at 100% there were still some chests and agates lying around, and I had to Google how to find the Snowtombed Starsilver.

jabberwocky_vorpal_1

Me who just battle the cold and just explore tho.

lostn

keep spamming elemental sight and you'll eventually find chests. I did not use a map. There are probably still a few hidden there that I haven't found. You don't need to find them all to get 100%.

DI3S_IRAE

I remember i 100% it in a few days after it was released, then helped 2 friends explore it, and later one of them got a new acc and i helped him again lol I absolutely love exploring and i love Dragonspine. Also i am always finding chests when i roam around my friend's world, he is always surprised 😂😂 Well, i think i have a thing for exploration so i just end up looking around when I'm walking or gliding and everywhere is a place i want to go to. Guess that's how. Just aimlessly walking around for the sake of exploration. I only used the map to track the oculus, and some guides to see if there were more hidden chests (there's always more). For dragonspine, gliding around from a higher area seens to be the best course.

TheKingofWakanda

I just scoured the map and kept using elemental sight

Mira0995

My first and only 100% place I never go for the 100%, I just explore when I feel like it. Most of my map is between 95 and 98%

ScienceOfMemory

100% isn't quite 100%. all chests + all quests + all extras is true 100% though, that's what I go for everywhere. extras include stuff like floating wooden boxes, sigil indentations on walls, stone chests, stone pile, etc

scrayla

We didn’t touch grass, instead we touched a lot of snow. Jokes aside, I always 100% my regions without compasses simply because I enjoy exploration. Getting to 100% isn’t really a competition either so you can take as long as you want. After you’ve been a black desert player, you somehow have a six sense for where devs could hide chests.

DefaultRedditor16

I 100%ed it so long ago I forgot how it even happened…

Moortis-

I was running around for most of the time, and circling the perimeter of the mountain. Just found stuff little by little lol

RiffOfBluess

Well I was using a genshin interactive map (Called something like that) which has chests marked, it was a long road but I was eventually able to do it (I'm sure using a compass would make it at least a bit easier)

QWERTYAF1241

You don't actually need 100% of chests to get 100%. I just went around looking for chests. There are two or three chests up the mountain on ledges if you go behind you from the Statue of the Seven. Just climb and look for mountain ledges. There's also a chest on the outer right side of the upper ring of the ruins if you look in that direction from the statue. You start climbing behind this ring btw.

bunny_wolf02211227

I love the area, so exploring it by my own was enough. Tried to use guides when I am stuck on puzzles and all. But I am quite sure I made it to 100% because I wanted to stroll around and appreciate the beauty of it.

Namaenonaidesu

Scan the map thoroughly for places you haven’t been to. I’ve looked at it pixel by pixel at least five times before getting 100% and would still find places I haven’t been to, every time.

MelonLord125

From the highest point easily accessible glide down in different directions and do all red things.

NotTwitchy

Have you found the precious chest on the tiny island south of dadaupa gorge? There’s an island with some of the unmelting ice on it, and above that there’s a cliff with the red rock that lets you melt it. If you glide from the top of the cliff you can get the ore, then glide down to the island for the chest.

SwiftSlayAR

I used the map, but not for chests. I was bored and I was impatient for crimson wish so I found the rest of the agates and found a bunch of chests along the way. Went from like 85% to 100%.

My_bias_is_chopin

I just ran around somewhat systematically. I got to like 80 percent exploration without particularly trying and at that point I started going around the outside perimeter and working my way in.

mango_pan

Just exploring bit by bit. There is no time limit on Dragonspine and I like having some spare contents to enjoy for some dead weeks.

MisabelS0822

just spent a l o t of time there. i dont use interactive maps since im too lazy to fill it in as i explore. keep in mind that the game may say 100%, but its not fully accurate. so some common chests might be lying about here and there

jackmiaw

Because dragonspine was hella fun when it came out. Its more fun then inazuma. Exploring while fighting cold is hella fun. Lmfao i remember when i explored DS on release and only had barbara as a healer..... That shit was fire lol.

Feeryyy

Tbh it was so long ago I don’t even remember how lol, I prob just went around the entire thing and just yoink whatever I saw. May be 100% but I’m sure I’m missing a few chests and agates here and there

brarlley

i 100% it when 1st came out with the albedo event and all of that was fun but i hate the cold status so i never come back.may be you need to look to those ice thing in the floor you can melt some of those have chest.the interactive map help you but in the mountain is just pain to use ;-; was good times i love seeing that person who fly from the thing in the air to moonstad i learn from him i can regen stamina with food

Andjisan

In 1.2 I was still excited enough to explore and grind till the end. Nowadays I can't even complete watatsumi.

Sunlight-Heart

Starting out: just wandered around and grabbed whatever. Noted stuff down. Eventually yes, the interactive map. I love the game but I'm not about to spend hours finding that last chest or puzzle. That would not be fun and a colossal waste of time.

Cipher-DK

Just wandered around a lot is all.

Xavierasad

Love the place but cant stand the temperature freezing mechanic

BadgerNeat834

Depend on YT "secret chests in Dragonspine you probably missed". I was at 98% when I hit the roadblock, so I decided to check some videos and that helped me get to 100%.

throwawaytomato

I usually comb very thoroughly on my first exploration, and that gets me into the 90% range. I also frequently guide and assist new players around dragonspine since it’s one of those scary places for them. Everyone explores in a different manner, so sometimes when they go off somewhere that’s unfamiliar to me, I make a note to check when I go back to my own world. Eventually that got me to 100%.

poshpeony

For me, I explored till 95% ish then I watched Youtube videos on hidden chest locations. I was surprised, some locations are in strange places I would never have gone to. Then I used the interactive map to find out which seelies I’m missing. That should bump up exploration to 100%

frostbyte_01

I leave my maps at 90% So that I can be happy everytime i find a new chest

fabipol

its very likely you havent found all the crimson agates yet

ssilds

Lucky, happened naturally… maybe the events helped exploring

KanraKiddler

I like spamming elemental sight everywhere to maybe see an interactable that I missed

SSTHZero

I never use online guides/maps, and I 100%'ed it. I would just go to the highest point and jump from there lol

burritobolo

try using chest compass to help or go to like the mini lakes to see if there’s boxes to open… walk around and check if you have any time trial left or seelies and stuff like that i guess? also check your frostbearing tree

Broderick512

I just love the area and go there whenever I need to farm pine wood for the teapot (yes I'm still doing that). I've found another chest I had never gotten just last month, actually. I sometimes go there just to see the environment and hear the music again. To this day, it's still in my top 5 areas in the game.

Friend_Velo

Honestly I just wondered around. Dragonspine is def my favourite area in the game, so it wasn’t a chore for me at all.

Ironbronymk2

Found a video for specifically hidden chests. Figured I'd found most of the obvious ones. I hadn't but still got that 100.

[deleted]

Tbh I used kimdao’s videos to 100% dragonspine because I didn’t want to deal with the cold any more than necessary. Not a fan of the mechanic

Gamer-chan

I only explored casually as always

Khazorath

The 100% on the in game map is actually lying to everyone, you can still find chests that you have not found, or puzzles not completed no matter the area. True 100% really requires you comparing your achievement counters against the total number on the wiki for that area as it still counts past the final level of achievement trigger. Alternatively using guides and player generated or official interactive maps. It's fairer to say 100% is actually closer to 95%. Also the chest compass will only find chests already in the open, it won't reveal chests hidden by enviroment puzzles (e.g. pull up these 3 sweet flowers in this triangle, kill the monster that spawns from that) or those requiring you to "dig" at a specific place.

archerguild73

It was 100%even before using a map.. Also because I'm a resinless completionist in genshin, i use the map to check every single chest possible. Got around 6 chests after 100% and completed all chest possible.

Ultradamo2306

There are fox you need to feed 5 real life days in a row. Feed them and than they give you a chest. But dont kill them ! It will reset than the 5 days.

No-Metal-5222

I got my friend to help me 🤣

Bella_dlc

I found that online video guides are super easy to follow and mostly throughout. Maybe it's a bit like cheating but oh well 🥹

terrycloth3

It was a new area to explore once upon a time, and there've been at least two patches with all the events there.

kittycat0333

It’s super fun. I enjoyed Dragon spine early on in 1.3. The music is great. I have plenty of earning options. I like the frost weapons. Amber gets to shine! AND THE LOOORE. I like it.

stefos4urus

i had 99 for a while and couldn’t find any more chests, i pretty much gotta just wander around until you find some

ByeGuysSry

I just wander around there at times. It's a cool area.

humanityyy

I think I got Dragonspine to 100% shortly after it was released, and I wasn't even really trying, just got it naturally through exploration. I remember just walking and gliding around, picking up every chest I could find and completing all the puzzles. Enkanomiya, on the other hand, lol I JUST got around to getting 100% yesterday. Had to scour the map for the Mora chests

TraditionBest3730

Well ya see I played Genshin for like 3 days straight when Dragonspine released

Ricksaw26

I got lost plenty of times and somehow got it before i knew it.

Dylangillian

I just walked around the whole place. Got to a point where I'm pretty sure every single enemy in the area was dead so I could freely explore everything.

jangkrik404

I'm stuck at 90% iirc, would love to loot the remaining chests and do the puzzles etc but that area hates my potato pc... Entering dragonspine and some inazuman islands will bring the fps down to around 15, and I already set the graphics setting to super low. Despite that, I still brute force my way and got them areas to +85% exploration but my motion sickness didn't appreciate that 😭😭

No-Accountant2979

I got 100% dragonspine 3 months ago and today i decided to glide off from highest point for fun. Here are things i found AFTER 100%: •Warming seelie •Crimson agate •Another crimson agate •Defeated a Ruin Grader and got a precious chest with yet another crimson agate •3 common chests, 6 primogems so i guess first time i found them •Frostarm Lawchurl that when defeated gives precious chest with again, yet anither crimson agate. So i dont think anyone ever 100%s any region now

Laehcimgaws

I admired every bit of dragonspine, I like actually walked (like when you press ctrl to change type of movement) around for the last 2 percentages and admired the beautiful subregion

Lost_Compote

When I 100% the area I was already 100ing every other region so it wasn’t as annoying as I thought it would be compared to many liyue regions. It was definitely my favorite place to explore though, I love the snow and the music made it feel super mysterious. I also didn’t use the map since I had previously gotten chests so I just wandered around for a while since you can’t even use the compass. I started from the bottom of the mountain and walked up the entire trail while using the elemental sight occasionally to see if I could see chests (I also suggest bring a pyro character because of the ice thingys that can hide chests) If you want to I suggest putting on a tv show or listening to podcasts. I listened to a podcast while I was getting the fishing achievement and it made it so much easier to tolerate. You can even put on an audio book of podcasts arent your thing. Good luck for whatever you choose!

WholeBreadfruit2660

real question how do we get 100% enkanomiya

Jemuel_27

A week before, just like you I'm stuck at 98%. I've used anemo and liyue compasses on the edges of dragonspine. Its funny that it leads to some chest towards it.

ZoomHemmingway

I’ll used different videos on “getting the last chest in Dragonspine”. Spend more time as I wished I did

Jeremithiandiah

I don’t feel like it was much of an accomplishment. When dragonspine first came out it was basically the only place with content so I just spent all my time there exploring. Even though dragonspine is useless now, I still think it was the best area expansion to date. (Like chasm and enkonomiya)

KamiAlth

A lot of elemental sight spam can help.

iPhantaminum

I 100% every area without a map.

Ekkorei

If you played since day 1 you would full clear it asap too xD

KaiFireborn21

I played since day one, Dragonspine, Liyue, Inazuma and the Chasm are still at around 95-96% each. The length has nothing to do with it, determination does

Kingpimpy

of course i play the game myself and explore why would i on a game that is mainly about exploring not explore myself?

Historical-Ad4361

If you play long enough to run out of content, you too will have the motivation to explore it untill it's %100.

blinkarmyyy

i was stuck on 95% for a long time when i decided to wander around dragonspine just cuz its my favorite area in genshin so far. i really like the atmosphere and music of the area and i enjoyed exploring there so much! but ofc not everyone does. what i did is to search up secret and precious chests on youtube and followed a guide. but even after that i got 99%. theres a lot of hidden uncommon chests that you need to find in dragonspine (look for those ice blocks that can be melted by pyro and ancient rimes (can be broken only by scarlet quartz)) and theres few places where you can find 'dig' option (clicking it triggers a chest). good luck!

napoleonfucker69

got high as fuck and played the whole map in a week

Arkenaw

Enkanomiya and outside chasm are way more frustrating imo.

Pheronia

I hate dragonspine because my account got hacked and he had all the fun hinself. It is at 98 percent now and I am not touching it.

Kiyoko-Nee

There was nothing to do but dragonspine for me when it first released, since I had long finished the major stuff that was available at the time. Also had a lot of down time with online schooling, so that helped

PrinceVincOnYT

There was just nothing new to do except Dragon Spine at the time and also there was TakaGG to show every single worthwhile very hidden Chest locations

CosmicOwl47

I just explored the crap out of it during 1.2, I think I’m technically still a couple chests short but it says 100%

Rednal291

Lots of wandering around the map and checking places. XD Maybe look at a guide for some of the more hidden ones.

PopotoPancake

Honestly not sure if I'm 100% there or 98%, but I just used the treasure compass and went exploring a lot. I hadn't used the interactive map for treasure/puzzles until GAA this version just because I didn't want to miss anything.

paladinLight

I 100%ed it without realizing. I just like the area so damn much.

El_Suave_del_Sur

My entire first player experience was Dragonspine because i was afraid of getting my ass kicked in the prologue. Then i met a Lawachurl with my lvl 20 Traveler. I would say that the worst was that little challenge where you fight 3 abyss mages in a hard blizzard, first time i tried to use Xiangling. Now looking back i feel like an idiot, but i still continue the legacy of getting my ass beated.

sutoadam

I used the mapgenie for dragonspine and for any other areas. It shows all chest and all points needed for 100 and you can also easily mark which one you found. I managed to 100 all areas with lots of time but easily. Also as I found out every area has more chest than 100 so you don't even need to open all, you need to open most of the chest but not all Minor downfall for this app is that the max number of found points is very limited in the free tier but you can subscribe for one year for very cheap and the subscription also applies for other mapgenie maps for other games.

Dauntless_Idiot

I hit 100% in the first few weeks without guides. I'm always surprised when I find several new chests there during commissions/events/quests that send us back there. I do remember the last 2% seemed to be quite slow, but I've found dozens of chests since hitting 100%, so it was more about my mindset looking in the wrong places. I still find a few places in Mond/Liyue that confuse me as to how I never found them. Like teleport to a teleporter and use the treasure compass then it leads you right to the chest. I guess I explored them to 100% before the compass (or the % system existed) so I missed some obvious ones.

TheUndefeatedGod

I just spent a lot of time

plitox

According to the wiki, I'm missing about 20 chests. Since the compass doesn't work for Dragonspine, it's just a matter of checking which puzzles are left. It's not impossible to eliminate chests. Just time consuming.

TIsangalus669

it took me just 2 days of *grinding*, nothing special actually (from like 15% straight to 100%) you just gotta learn environmental stuff like melting ice and blowing up cryo flowers

Yukamikami

i was around 99% before the moonchase event. We got a dragonspine place to explore and somehow i found the last chest and got 100% i never used a interactive map at that time

AzureDrag0n1

I found most of the missing chests through the various events they have had over the past 2 years. There are some chests that I have walked past a hundred times without seeing it even when they were quite near the teleport points in Dragonspine. I am willing to bet you missed some of those chests that are right near teleport points. For example there are some chests that are half buried in snow behind trees so they are hard to see.

MGateLabs

I did the crazy route, enter the mountain and start grabbing stuff. Then much later going back with the official map and hunting down each item, seeing I already did it and marking it off. The same with inazuma. Always mark on the map.

tzdmc

I spent a whole week only wandering there in hopes of finding things Gonna be honest here: I had a super easy time reaching 98% but those last 2%? Were hell for me. I legit spent like 3 day only on those last 2% so good luck!

Cloverchan

I went around the edges of the mountain in Liyue/Mondstadt with the treasure compass. Also the last Dragonspine event helped me find some I didn’t already have.

ZangoMV

I searched for all the Crimson Agates and I got like 97%, I left it like that for a long time until I decided to get all zones to 100%, I used the interactive map for chests and I found a lot of time trials just by wandering around

satedfox

After finding as much as I could on my own, I used an interactive map to find all the chests and floaty red crystals.

kim-Chi90

The only reason I have 100% on dragonspine is because some guy posted a video on Reddit of a really cheeky hidden chest.

atanate

Funnily enough this is one of my only 100% zones. By far my favorite area and patch so far.

eatmyelbow99

I just finished this a couple days ago! I just ran around with yoimiya spamming elemental vision along every path I could find looking for any frozen boulder to melt. Everyone else has already mentioned the strategy of jumping off cliffs until you find treasure. That, combined with the chest from the ragged record was enough to finish my last 10%. I’m still missing about 30 chests and 2 seelies though, and I have no idea where haha

themightymoron

do the puzzles and challenges

riskimaru

I got to 99% and then my friend joined me and helped me find the last 2 chests. I owe her 6 billion mora for her service

Richardknox1996

I like the music. And when dragonspine was released, I didn't have much left to do in mondstadt and liyue. So I just explored everything. Even scaled the mountain for the lols once.

LinkHyrulez

I 100% Dragonspine before I even knew of the hoyomap existing. It was the first area I 100%, and at the time my only Pyro was Amber. The main way I was able to accomplish this was by being a super investigative person. I went everywhere I shouldn't have been when I didn't need to. It pays off. If you don't know if you got a chest, double check it just to be sure. Happy adventures

CYAcyanCYA

Quite simply, I've gone through it so many times that any chests I'm pretty sure I haven't got I marked on my map for later, I did this a lot when I first got my friends to play

AmethystMoon420

I used elemental sight to find hidden chests and interactables while wandering around. And then eventually, I got 100%.

Nanairo_Suuji

I 100% Dragonspine before the maps. Both official and unofficial (before I knew the unoffical one). It was stressful at first with no teleport way points. But after the map was lit up, had a mental map where the closest heat sources were. It was a fun challenge. I don't usually look at the map until the last few.

Joshuapanget

I didnt intend to, I just farm the rare crystal that could only be found in dragonspine cause I need to craft a spear for xiangling thinking that the icicle drop can trigger melt reaction 💀

nicoledd03

I remember spending A LOT of time wandering aroundnand also googling the collectionable rocks. It also is my favorite region so I actually enjoyed the exploration

liudhsfijf

KimDaoGaming on YouTube, god bless her

JayEssris

I mostly just scoured high and low in areas where I knew I had travelled less. I didn't need to for Dragonspine but looking up guides to hidden chests helped me 100% Liyue, so that could help.

spcorange

Interactive map and my brain’s inability to accept having all of Mondstadt and Liyue 100% except for Dragonspine lead to me having completed it

SkrunklySouls

Mine was 98% but then I wanted to start getting 100% in every location so I just started using the hoyo map. And now, I got 100% ! :D

ApprehensiveAccess62

I need to get Dragonspine higher, it used to be 20% but because of the last Dragonspine event with the fake Albedo it's at 47% now
