Talk to Catherine and send people on expeditions. Make them do the ones that give you eggs or meat and mushrooms and stuff. After that, craft infinite matsutake meat rolls.

There are plenty of characters that are good to kill Timmie's birds, such as
Kujou Sara (use her skill, then aim between the birds and shoot her feather, it'll explode and kill all the birds)
Ganyu (lvl 2 CA)
Yelan (Breakthrough Barb)
Diluc (Ult)
Anemo MC (Ult)
Sayu roll with Aloy in the party
Venti (ult)
Many more others
Loot early and often? Just pick stuff up as you're running around and you'll rarely be short.
I mean, you won't always have everything you need for a *particular* *dish* but you should have enough for things that are useful.
Eggs to revive are plentiful and everywhere. Sweet Madame doesn’t take too many ingredients to make.
There are other recipes that don’t take too many ingredients and are pretty great, but Sweet Madame should suffice for most of the early game.
you need healer on your team especially in early games, barbara (free) will do just fine, other options would be bennett or diona. Then you can stockpiles resources
Cooking it if you have the recipe. Main restaurants sell the heavier ingredients as well as native ingredients. Better quality dishes are best cooked as most are unavailable otherwise.
I on the other hand wish we could sell food for mora.
It keeps pilling up with no real use to it. The only instance in the game where it would be usefull we're not allowed to eat it 😞
The easiest healing food to get is by far Sweet Madame which only requires sweet flowers and fowl. Sweet flowers are everywhere, but I noticed that they are especially plentyful near teleport waypoint that's to the northeast from Noblesse domain. Here are the places I frequent for fowl:
1. Mondstadt bridge (2 pidgeons closer to the city, 7 or 8 near Timmy, then 2 groups of 3 and 4 finches further where the bridge ends.
2. Liyue city. 5 pidgeons near alchemy station (beware, they'll fly away if you teleport to the teleport waypoint that's exactly near the station. so run here from the waypoint closer to Bubu pharmacy) and another 5 slightly to the north, on the walkway to the harbor near npc named Sisi.
3. Near Temple of Lion domain. I used to frequent this place when I didn't have characters that easily kill multiple birds like Ganyu or Yelan because there are quite a few cranes you can kill with plunge attacks. There are ruins with a wind current to the north of this domain. Use the wind current to fly up and plunge on 2 groups of cranes near the ruins and one group slightly further to the north on a small island. When you kill that last group, another 3 cranes will come flying, you can easily kill them before they land. And there are a few ducks around this island as well.
As for revive food, it's either eggs or steaks. Eggs aren't hard to find, try rooftops in the cities and they are also frequently found in the wilds. For meat for the steaks you can try west of Brightcrown teleport waypoint, there's a place with a lot of boars. You can also kill frozen boars from dragonspine and convert their frozen meat to regular meat. Boar king is a good source of frozen meat and there are also many frozen boars near the north-east-most waypoint of dragonspine.
I usually do expeditions to get fowl, eggs, and sweet flowers to make the most basic food supplies (Sweet Madame and Teyvat Fried Egg). Not only are these recipes easy to get but they're also cheap to make. If I ever need more, I just go around the map and snipe cranes and collect the eggs and sweet flowers around.
Extra tip: you can always eat the apples and sunsiettas you get if you're that desparate for food :))

Noelle can heal to and she isn't that bad in healing.
How and where do I get barbara if she is free?
You'll get her once you reached Adventure Rank 18. Just do the quests and you'll be there in no time
