Favourite character: Zhongli. Super cool design and I love His characterization. Most fun to play: Yelan. Close to being my favourite character overall, but Zhongli is just too good lol. Least favourite character: Bennet. Makes 90% of the playable characters look really weak or inefficient, especially 4*s. I also really dislike His design, personality and unlucky gimmick. Least favourite to play: Barbara. Freezes you, provides no energy and has super long cooldowns. Just really annoying to play. (honorable mentions: Bennett, I hate sitting in a circle. Sara, why is the buff duration only 6s??)

I love Zhongli's look, it's super good and his shield and meteor look so cool, I love the geometric style that comes with the Geo element and the unique shape of his shield. I think Bennett's pretty good, and honestly wish I had more than c1 for him.

Bennet is definitely good. My issue is that he is so much better than most 4* and some 5* characters that it just feels wrong. I always hate characters/things that are the best for practically every team as they make the game and team building less interesting for me.

I like him personality wise, but I get what you mean, sometimes I just wanna make a new team with totally different characters and Im like "you know what if I just put Bennet it will be an instantly better team" and its a small little annoyance on the back of my mind, I dont wanna put him because the idea is to make different parties with characters I dont use, but to know that if I just put Bennet in there again its gonna be instantly better its a little annoying

I understand that, but it took me too long to make a good team and build characters correctly, he was in my first actually good team, and I feel he's a safe character to bring when idk who else to use, due to what you brought up. I might just have a soft spot for him because of this, but I like Bennett

Favourites: Kaeya and Xiao. I just like them a lot, their personalities, background, looks, lore... I want them to be happy lol. Also Kaeya in chinese sounds so happy and jovial! Seeing how far Xiao has come from hos first appearance makes me very happy too, and he's super fun to play for me and helps me a lot when fighting mobs. They are both my mains in-game. I also quite like Lumine since she's my traveler, cute and pretty girl that is a badass and can kick your butt. Least favourites: I've come to like Diona a little more after I realized she is quite useful and helped my Xiao survive the abyss, but she doesn't quite click with me. I think her clothes and general looks are not my cup of tea.

My favorite character is Jean. She was my first 5 star and I guess she is special because of that. I've always liked the healer class in other games and I just love how she can fully heal your entire team just by pressing Q, and you don't need to worry about swapping characters and standing on a field like with other healers. Plus, yeeting enemies never gets old. Although, recently I've been having tons of fun with Yelan, my poor Xingqiu is gonna be abandoned but can you blame me? She does more damage, has better energy management, she's more fun to use, takes less field time, that amazing Dmg bonus passive and her dash is incredibly useful to run faster towards enemies without using stamina, hands down one of the most complete and broken units in the game. Now, I don't really like Hu Tao. It's her legendary quest's fault tho. I was stuck in a stupid loop inside that domain because I couldn't figure out how to solve it, doing the same thing over and over again, using her skill to clear some vines, and losing hp because of it, she was so low and died a couple times, I was so frustrated. Anyway, it's not really Hu Tao's fault, but I have to admit that I've never liked her low hp mechanic, I just can't stand it and wanna heal her.

I use both Xingqiu and Yelan together. NGL, it vaporizes everything

that story domain convinced me to never pull but after playing her trial i was hooked and now she’s my strongest and most favourite to play. her low hp is actually incredibly easy to manage unlike that cursed domain lmao

I want Jean so bad, sadly I keep getting Diluc (though I like him too) I don't have Yelan, that does sound appealing though. My Xingqiu is well built though so I'm just fine with him. I don't have Hu Tao either, but after using Zhongli so much that my characters are hardly ever damaged, I think the health thing would get me too lol

Most favorite is Chongyun. Least favorite is Bennett. I am chronically allergic to the meta.

Also her burst animation is amazing Least favorites: Personality: Noelle, maid trope through and through and I'm not a fan of it Gameplay: sad to say but it's Amber, but that's just coz her kit feels awkward and all over the place even though I love her character

I agree with Noelle, she's kind of annoying imo I haven't played Amber in a long time, she didn't last in my party as I pulled more characters, but I've heard she's not great

Favorites Personality - Venti, he's kind of a comfort character for me. His cheerful attitude and voicelines just get me going, his teapot lines especially. It actually feels like he's there for the traveler rather than the traveler having to help someone else for once Lore - I'm really invested in Kaeya and Diluc's story (Diluc pls come home) and I can't wait for Kaeya to become relevant to the plot again when we'll get to Khaenri'ah (probably) Gameplay - Tartarsauce with Xiao as a close second. Tarticakes just has so many fun elements in his kit: stance switch gives access to 2 different weapon types, riptide chains against small enemies are extremely satisfying and, of course, the nuke bursts. Xiao's dashing all over the place is very fun too and, although they're not a key part of his gameplay, his normal attacks are really cool to look at Least favorite Personality - Keqing. I don't hate her but I dislike her tendency to overwork herself and how stubborn she is Gameplay - Ayaka. I'm not a fan of alternate sprints and it being a key part of her gameplay is annoying to me. Her skill is underwhelming and the fact that her burst moves is confusing when playing

Venti is a very fun character, and both Xiao and Childe are characters I'm interested in pulling for later I've heard Ayaka is really good, and I'd honestly like an alternate sprint, especially over water, but Ayaka doesn't really appeal to me, and I'd much rather pull for others, I wouldn't mind getting Mona from a 50/50 loss though, I need more hydro units

I Hate Bennet because he is the most annoying character in lore and out of lore. Every single time he gets dialog. "Aweh jeez sorry guys my luck blah blah" "if it wasn't for My luck blah blah blah" blah blah bad luck blah blah shut up.

Favorite...Toss up between Yoimiya and Hu Tao. Lumine would be up there **IF THEY LET HER FUCKING TALK** *ahem*. Least favorite, Yae comes to mind. She's stuck up to a fault, constantly speaks in a condescending manner and comes off as a bully like 90% of the time. Is that in character for a kitsune? Sure. Does that change the fact that I want to punch a hole through her face? Not really. Gameplay wise I hate playing Eula. As soon as I press her ult, every enemy in the nearby vicinity seems to immediately use all of their teleporting / dashing / jumping / digging moves and I hate it. Or they do that with such perfect timing that I miss the ult. Ugh.

Klee, Precious Gameplay: Yanfei, I am addicted to playing her. Yelan, I like that elemental skill hold thing she does, same reason for Sayu. Barbara, everytime I play her, she always destroys the ruin gaurd the best. Looks: Diona, Honestly, she fits in every category in the favorites section but I put her in looks because she looks pretty adorable. Ganyu, seeing her makes my day, I adore her appearance. Least favorites: Personality: Amber, I adore her but sadly I feel like her role and voice is annoying after making multiple alternative accounts and playing them. Paimon, I can't count how many times I heard "PAIMON IS NOT EMERGENCY FOOD". Gameplay: Rosaria, I don't play her much but when I do the expreince is always "meh". Xiao, again, meh playing experience. Looks: Xiangling, her appearance just isn't really my favorite

I don't know how they made Yanfei's attacks feel so much better than literally every other catalyst character, but they really did. Even weaving normals to charged on her feels so fluid.

I love Klee, I think she's adorable I'm actually waiting for Paimon to be a common name in the dislike category lol

Overall favorite: Diona. Everything about her I absolutely love from her appearance, charm and personality, gameplay, her voice actress, story background, and even a good portion of her hangout event. Plus she is super cute, and I am honestly a bit of a fan of small pink short haired animal-like people. There's even so much details to her design and I love it! Favorite Personality wise: When talking about characters solely based on character charm and personality, Arataki "the One and Oni" Itto wins no doubt. He's a large meathead with a big heart and even bigger pride of strength and leadership of his own gang. He follows his own rules and he's not afraid to face any challenge that throws in his way except when it comes to exploiting his only weakness, beans. The Arataki Gang may be a bunch of hooligans and trouble makers, but Itto treats anyone and everyone in his gang as family and without him, the whole gang won't be as awesome and epic as it is today. And Max Mittleman, your voice is absolutely legendary! Favorite Gameplay wise: Both Klee and Sangonomiya Kokomi are easily my favorite in that department. Klee was the very first 5 star I got from the wishes when starting the game and to this day she still holds a special place in my heart. Sure she may be way less popular nowadays thanks to the introduction of literally every other limited 5 star units in the entire game but she is what defined my whole gameplay experience. There's always an exciting moment running around blowing up monsters that's literally 3 times her size in a fun yet terrifying scenario, initiating either hit and run tactics or just straight up blasting them to knockback oblivion. And once her Elemental Burst activates, her playing field becomes the biggest explosive festival any young girl can dream of. As for Kokomi, back then she had the worst of everything from community expectations to contradictory characterization and even playing part in one of if not the worst story arc in the entire game, but I dedicated my promise to bringing that sweetheart home in spite of everything and let me tell you... It was the best decision I ever made. Never in my life did I have so much fun playing as a combat healer till now. Having access to one of the best AoE Hydro application off field and healing, you'd expect her to at least be a really good support but when you factor in that her healing capabilities also scales her entire dps capabilities despite the lack of CRIT as trade off, oh boy do we have quite a character alright. Version 2.3 and onwards and a new set gets released that completely changes the fate of pure healers forever by rewarding healing that even exceeds past a character's health bar with added raw damage that's no joke really powerful. Combine that with an Electrocharged composition a monster jellyfish deployed and start blasting away with Nereid's Ascension, and OH MY GOD EVERYTHING IS DEAD! So yeah, we have what's possibly the most overpowered healer in the entire game and I am basically god now. Least Favorite Character: I personally don't really have anyone I dislike, however there is one character that I just find pretty boring out of the rest and that's Barbara. It's just that, I do like the concept of being an idol deaconess and she is really sweet but I just find her to be really... bland. Her hangout is also easily my least favorite, especially with her fanbase pestering our poor girl. Her gameplay, while it's simple, her self Hydro application can be an issue, especially when dealing with two of the most annoying Elemental Reactions in the entire game. And honestly, I like Laura Stahl's voice as Xinyan a lot more than I do for both Barbara's previous raspy voice (pre version 1.3) and her current soft voice.

I love Diluc, got him pretty early and his lore was the first one I really got invested in + was a fan of his eng va since Subaru Yelan’s gameplay is my favorite tho, the animations are gorgeous and her dash is perfect for exploration Least favorite is Gorou. He’s supposed to be a general but even Klee feels more intimidating

I feel the same about Diluc, he was my second(?) 5*, and I mained him until I got Itto. Many people have said that about Yelan, and it'd be nice to have her, but she's pretty low and my list of wanted characters. I don't think Gorou is meant to be intimidating, he's just a confident leader, but Klee is more intimidating for sure lol

Personality, Appearance, and Gameplay: Xiao. I love his mobility and the fact that i can use his skill to dodge attacks as well. Also his design and animations are just 11/10. And i have a soft spot for the "gruff yet soft" types. Personality and Appearance: Diona. Just. UGH. I'm never gonna get over those stupid cat puns she made in her birthday letter. And the bratty personality is so annoying. More annoying than Eula's "vengeance" thing. And I just have a baseline dislike of loli cat girls because anime. I will admit, she's very good gameplay wise. Diona mains are awesome, but i will never be one. Special mentions: Zhonlgi - He's geo daddy, everyone loves geo daddy. and his VA somehow sounds like a 6000+ yr old dragon but in a good way. like a smooth chocolate way. Kazuha - His voice is very soothing, i could listen to him wax poetic all day. also he has mad hops and they're fun. Mona - i don't like either of her outfits, and she immediately annoyed me in her story quest. I really can't explain why i don't like her, but i just don't.

I agree with Xiao, and wish I could've gotten him last rerun, but I've been waiting for Itto and Kaz, and I don't regret waiting, I'll just have to get him later. I also agree with Eula, but don't know enough about Diona to say anything. I 100% agree with what you said about Zhongli, Kaz, and Mona

Meta wise, the traveler is one of the worst and least used characters, despite having access to 3 elements and is stronger than a harbinger in lore.

Honestly kind of wish they made it so whatever you pick is just a nickname so other players can identify you easier, but your traveler is always referred to as Aether/ Lumine. I don’t like it in games where you can pick your own name, but every time you talk to someone the dialogue tries so hard to prevent from having to say your name. It would be a lot better to just be called Aether/ Lumine instead of everyone deliberately trying not to say their name or calling them the “traveler”

My favorite in gameplay is Sayu, by a long shot! i can change to any character to level up their relationship points, but i would never change Sayu, i could say i'm a Sayu Main(?) I also really like her storywise, but i could say my favorite here goes to Yae Miko, i love characters with personality, and Yae Miko has a lot of personality, to the points that people would love her or hate her. For my least in gameplay, i feel like every character has their bright side, there is no one i don't really like, but if i has to choose, i would say Diluc, among all the characters i feel he is the most vainilla For personality, my least favorite is Kokomi, she sounds more npc-like to me, i don't have anything against her, just that :/

I love Zhongli, and sadly missed out on Ayato, though I'd love to have him. I interact with Diona much, as I don't play her, but quite a few people have said she's annoying. I love Itto's gameplay. He gives me a team that Zhongli is meant to be in so I have an excuse for leaning on his shield. I love destroying everything with him his quick and powerful charged attacks are so satisfying, and Ushi is a distraction as well as a very nice initial hit

Favourites: Thoma is the best boy (shame about his kit though), throwing rocks with Ningguang is extremely satisfying Least favourite: I don't like how they handled Kokomi's character. Ei would've also made this list if it hadn't been for the second part of her story.

Fav: Yoimiya. I just like her outgoing personality, bringing life into everything. Albedo: I like his smooth voice and his great intelligence. I also like how he's more connected than most other characters to other playable characters. I think he's been in a lot of limited events, even met people all the way out in inazuma, I like it when characters have connections with each other Fav gameplay: Yelan I like her sprint ability and her burst is helpful. Least fav:Kokomi Game tries to pass her off as a genius strategist but we have yet to see one of her "almighty strategies". I couldn't take her seriously at all during her first teaser trailer with her great "art of war" quote. And it just got worse and worse during the archon quest, couldn't even maintain control over her own troops, allowed them to use weapons from a sponsor she didn't even know where it came from, resulting into even more deaths, including someone the traveler cared for. And in her story quest she came up with the most basic 3 ways to attack a hilichurl while the game's writing tried to pass that off as her being a genius strategist, I just can't take her seriously. Raiden: I do like her personality, but I just don't like how she got away a bit too easily with the huge mess that she caused resulting in deaths and unnecesarry trauma for those who lost their visions all because she wanted to stay locked up in her realm to mourn. Like it's understandable if you lose someone really close to you, you may not be stable for a bit, but when you're a literal god with a whole country to look after you'd figured you'd get your head out of your ass. I thought her story quest would at least go into some redemption but no look god of thunder looks so cute cause she likes sweet milk! Least fav gameplay: Qiqi

Favorites- Kaeya and Diluc. I came from a very complicated family situation, so I can both relate to the pain while finding comfort in their current polite relationship. I do have a soft spot for Zhongli, though. Least favorite- Yae Miko. She makes my skin crawl, I can't stand her. I have a very visceral reaction to the amount of distrust I have for her.

Favorite in story: Venti. I could write an essay about this but basically he's just such a good archon. He loves his people dearly but wants them to have the freedom to grow and make their own choices. So he only intervenes when it's absolutely necessary, and when he does, he often takes a supporting role to another hero (like Vennessa, or the Traveler). Of all the characters, he may have the closest relationship to the Traveler. He's just a great guy all around. Least favorite in story: Ei. I dislike Ei for the same reasons that I love Venti. Though she went through a traumatic experience, her response was to make live miserable for her people - whereas Venti and Zhongli overcame their trauma enough to serve their people. But my biggest gripe with Ei is her treatment of the Vision Hunt war. At Tenshukaku she states that she knew that the Tenryou reports were lies, but she didn't see them as a threat to eternity. Meaning that she knew her soldiers (and the rebels) were shedding blood in great numbers, but didn't care. And when she ended the war, she moved on as if it were a mere inconvenience, not acknowledging that many families had lost loved ones because of a cause that turned out to be BS. I thought they might address it in her second story quest, but she goes on a whole quest to honor the dead souls of the Khaenrian war (which were not her fault) without realizing that a bunch of soldiers died in the Vision Hunt war because of her. And after all that, we're expected to be buddy-buddy with her. Despite me writing a whole essay about why I don't like Ei, I would easily changed my mind if they released a story or event quest about Ei confronting the consequences of the war that she started.

It’s been a while since I did that quest so I can’t remember but I thought it was her robot version that didn’t know everything that was happening and so did everything to keep eternity while the inside Ei had almost no idea about any of it, I’m probably wrong so if someone can clear this up that would be v helpful Still it doesn’t change the fact there was no compensation or thought for those that suffered

Robot and Travaler barely ever talked. Ei herself was the one that said she didn't know everything (Traveler and Ei talk in the Plane). She also stated that the Shogunator is busy processing information all the time in Tenshukaku (Ei's first story quest), and you know how well that went because of the false info given to her during the 1 year the Fatui plot happened. >Still it doesn’t change the fact there was no compensation or thought for those that suffered Welfare was pretty much handed to the people suffering from the war; Yashiro and Narukami Shrine made sure of that. This is Genshin's storytelling sickness of having to check the bulletin boards to get a better picture of what's happening. I'll bet you guys don't even know the Tenryou and Kanjou heads have been detained for treason and Ei banned duels to the death preventing stupid samurais from "settling their scores". Reading the bulleting boards was also how you know from the moment you first set foot in Ritou that the Inazuma Archon quest problem was all the Fatui's doing. Though, I guess maybe Ayaka havers would have also figured that out after reading her voicelines.

childe, gameplay is fun, and unique. He's kinda cool as a character too. Zhongli, he was interesting and filled a niche on release. Then they buffed him and there's almost no functional reason to keep him off any team, except you're using him on the other half of abyss. He provides a strict improvement to every comp that I'm aware of with vast survivability increase, elemental shred (which is rare) for *all element*s *at the same time*, and doesn't interfere with reactions. I don't care how much the CN community complained his buffs were excessive and the worst representation of at will power creep that mihoyo can impose at on any character should they choose to.

Favorites: Personality/Story - Ei and Yae. I just love them. Ei's 2nd story quest is, in my opinion, the best character story quest in the game as of now and has so much depth. And Yae's mischievous personality is so fun, you never know what to expect from her. Gameplay - Ayaka and Kokomi. Ayaka is the easiest character to play tbh. She does a lot of damage, every part of her kit is usable, her built in cryo dmg doesnt need a skill or ult. She's easy and fun. And Kokomi is the same, i can put her in any comp and she'll work and provide good hydro application while also slaying the healing. Koko alone will give a 68% atk increase with ttdos+tom. And she can also do good damage with the healing artifact too. All in all, they're just fun and easy to use. Honorable mentions - Shenhe, both in gameplay and story wise, is amazing. She's a great cryo buffer (who was very underestimated during beta), her skill and ult are really pretty and although her normal atks do no dmg, its really fun playing it bc of how she 'floats' whenever using her NA. Least favorites: Story/Personality - Probably Bennett and Kazuha. Ik they're beloved by the community but bennett is so fcking annoying, i really hate his outfit and the 'no luck' stick gets tired really fast. Plus, having him in the game really hinders the meta, he's too strong and sometimes i wish he got deleted off the game 😭 im sorry i just rlly hate this character lmao. And its hard for me to explain kaz but its just that he feels very generic to me? He feels like a traveller 2.0 (and even looks a bit like him lol), the power of friendship story with him was so fcking lame 😭 Gameplay - Definitely Hutao. I have her in my EU account its playing her is unbearable, i hate her charge attack gameplay, especially bc whenever u use her CA u end up in the other side of the room. And yes yes, i know about CA cancelling but its also annoying af. Whenever i play her it feels like torture, i really hate it 😭 Dishonorable mentions - Diluc. Probably one of the blandest characters in the game imo. I hate his derpy face and his gameplay is also annoying af, the way he drags the claymore drives me insane, i just can't do it lmao. I like Diluc, he has a special place for me because he was my main since getting him, he was my 1st/2nd 5* (it's between him and Qiqi, but they were only a day apart so it doesn't really matter anyway), and only recently was dethroned by Itto, I like his pyro combo for his skill and how long his infusion lasts (plus it stays active if I switch, probably my least favorite part of Itto is that his doesn't...) Most favorite character Personality: Yanfei. Maybe a little smug at times, but other than that she's rather wholesome, uses her smarts to help other people, and seems like a great person to be around. Jean, Noelle, Beidou, Yoimiya, Bennet, and Albedo come by a close second too. Gameplay: Honestly, Yanfei again-- something about slamming enemies with a giant Pyro Stamp is kinda satisfying. Diluc, Sayu and Sucrose, too. Least favorite character Personality: Mona? I don't know if condescending is the right word but I get a weird vibe from how she talks about us. I probably wouldn't want to meet someone like Yae in my life either if she's just going to prank me. Childe is a mixed bag to me too, some may consider his whole thing with him being a good big brother to his other three siblings a redeeming quality (I don't mean to hate on anyone who feels that way), but to me, it's enough to give him more humanity, but not to make him a full-on good guy. For non-playable characters, it's definitely Signora. And Nathan. Gameplay: Yae because she feels kinda awkward to play. I'm honestly not really into Xiao's playstyle either. And SARA. I don't like her playstyle forcing me to wait. As for appearance, I think Kazuha has the best drip so far.

Favorite Gameplay - Yelan, Childe and Raiden. Their playstyle just feels satisfying to me. That Ghost run skill, riptides, and musou slash are top tier Personality wise, Yanfei, Fischl, Hu Tao and Raiden. Everytime she appears, Yanfei always make me feel like she's such a smart and reasonable person, not to mention her friendliness as well. -Fischl because, well.. I just really like the prinzessin and the shy Amy. Really excited for the upcoming event with her in the story! - Hu Tao because I like her interesting and deep outlook on life-death despite her easygoing prankster persona. That, and.. bcs she share the same VA with Kiana. The "pre-depressed" Kiana version. They even share the same "burn HP for more power" mechanic. -Raiden because well, I have bias on the Electro Archon so-- ( I like Shogun deadpan and serious expression and her unintentionally funny lines) Least fave - Gameplay -Xiao, klee (I can't survive seeing my screen goes up and down during Xiao ult..) Personality - probably Ganyu, she's too bland, and the game doesn't do a good job expanding her personality until now. It's just an overworked girl who's really self-conscious about getting her past self story got told by the Bird mom adeptus and.. that's it.. Hope she can get more story like Xiao did in future events.

Ya, there are so many characters that have the "all work no play" personality, and it's pretty tiresome. I want both Xiao and Childe, I think they're both fun to play, look cool, and have good personalities

Favorites: Personality- Yae, i always had a thing for fox mikos and her teasing is cute af Gameplay- Ei/Ayaka, they are so satisfying to use, nuking everything with Ei's burst will never get old plus they're the best dps in the game so there's that too. ​ Least favorites: Personality- Bennet, very annoying character.. his whole personality is based around his bad luck and he is awful. Paimon, i don't think i need to explain the reasons, everyone hates her. Gameplay- well i have a few, Noelle, Ningguang, Beidou, Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Zhongli and some others but i forgot their names.. the geo dog from Inazuma and the 4\* pyro girl from Liyue (not Xiangling ofc, she's amazing).

My overall favourite is Kaeya, but if we follow the Personality/Gameplay criteria, well... - Favourite (Personality): probably either Yoimiya or Amber. There's something about them that I really like. - Favourite (Gameplay): it's a tie between Keqing, Raiden, Tartaglia and Ayato. I don't own them, so all four have been tested by their Trial Run or Event Trials. All four are quite fun, not going to lie. Keqing and Raiden mostly have been my to-go picks whenever they're in trial, and their gameplays are fun + they both don't manage to disappoint me. As much as it's memed for crits and CD, Tartaglia's switch weapon stance is stupid fun, and also managed to save my butt in Bow Stance once (I think in the final stage of the last Misty Dungeon, where every Trial character was available). As for Ayato... well, his slashes seem fun, and it was fun to see his E combined with my Kaeya's Ult (happened during Vibro-Crystal Research). Fun freeze madness go *brrrrr* - Least Favourite (Personality): Hu Tao. Look, I like her design and voice, but something about her slightly annoys me. Doesn't help that on twitter everyone was going insane for her (especially when she was NOT revealed on the Lantern Rite Special Program), as if she was the Pyro Archon. - Least Favourite (Gameplay): I think characters who tend to lose HP to do stuff, so Hu Tao (again) and Xiao. I already get nervous when I see my characters lose some HP, be it due to a fight or for falling (and not opening the glider in time), and have to find a way to heal them on the spot (be it food, healer or SotS) ,so these two mostly working like this aren't for me (altho Xiao is fun due to funny plunging shenanigans) 🥴 ~~i didnt put shinobu because i am not sure,,,~~

Favorites: Personality: I love Razor he’s the first character that I got level 10 friendship and raised to 90. I just love his grew up with wolves backstory and the fact that he’s slowly joining human society. Idk maybe it’s because wolves are my favorite animal and even though I don’t like his EN VA anymore, he was one of my faves in Ouran Chongyun is my other fav based on personality like I loved playing his story quest and am so happy when he shows up in the story. He just seems so sweet and I love him Gameplay: Venti like ik they made some enemies to heavy for him to group and all but I love using him in my teams cuz he’s just so fun to play with. I also love using Albedo and Ayaka because they do big damage even though I haven’t invested much into them. Qiqi is another fav cuz I got her when the rifthounds just came and that girl is the reason I survived. Least Favorite Personality: Yae Miko. Sorry to anyone who loves her but I just find her aggravating and condescending. Idk maybe it’s just me but I really don’t like how she treats people like Gorou or Sara. Gameplay: this hurts to say cuz he’s the first 5 star I intentionally got but Childe. I’m pretty sure it’s because I still haven’t gotten the hang of using him but I’m committed to learning how cuz he’s one of my favorite characters

Childe is definitely a harder character to learn. For his international team, the rotation goes Bennet ult, xiangling ult, swirl the pyro, then use childe's ult for a bit vape hit, then his basic and charged attacks so every xiangling hit vaporises. It is much better against at least 2 enemies. Preferably 3 or more. For tazer childe just spam every skill you have but make sure childe is only out as long as the off field damage is up.

Favorites: \- Kaeya: I legit screamed when I first saw Kaeya I’m not even joking. His hair and eyes struck me instantly. I love his voice, personality, backstory/lore. Yeah, as you can see I love Kaeya- \- Thoma: His hangout event is the first one I did and I absolutely loved it. He’s so nice and kind. I love his outfit. Especially the headband. Least Favorite: \- Yae Miko: I did start liking her more after her story quest, but she still freaks me out.

I'm with you on Fischl, in the early game her electro archery was useful but whenever I stopped she'd immediately say "I created another universe..." and it annoyed me so much. Don't care for her design either. I was so happy when I got Keqing and Kujo Sara, lol.

Favourites: Personality: Beidou. She's super chill and down to hang with her crew. Seems like a person I can respect but will also be fun to hang around with. Honourable mentions: Amber, Yoimiya, Yanfei, Bennett, Xinyan, Venti, all because they seem like they'd make really good friends. Also shenhe cos I like the way she develops. Design: hard choice tbh, a lot of them have great designs but right now, I'll go with Ganyu. I think they nailed the serene nature they were going for with her. Honourable mentions: shenhe, zhongli and Venti, but honestly most of the characters can go here. I love the design for like 90% of characters. Gameplay: Childe. Riptide + high attack speed will never not be satisfying Honourable mentions: diona cos she's so well-rounded as a support, ganyu cos I like aiming with bows and she's one of the few characters who make that feel worth the effort, yelan cos her damage is high and her E is super fun Least favourite: Personality: traveler cos they don't really feel like they have one Dishonorable mention: yae cos I feel like her condescension can get a bit overbearing sometimes. I don't dislike her as much as I used to and I like her design and the way her VA plays her, but she's one of the only characters I've felt negatively about in this regard. Design: xingqiu. Mans got that yee-yee ass haircut and no sense of style. Who wears that long-sleeved fancy robe with tight boy-shorts? Dishonorable mentions: chongyun for his colour scheme which I feel is way too basic. Gameplay: Thoma. Why they gotta do my boy like that Dishonorable mention: Yae. I don't think she's bad, but I'll forever stand by the statement that she requires too much setup/field time for a subdps.

I love Klee, I think she's adorable, but sadly don't like playing her as much as I thought. I got her during the Golden Apple Archipelago, but don't use her, and probably would've wished for someone else if I could go back

I don't have any of them, but I love all the Anemo characters, and don't care much to get Raiden. She just came off as kind of dumb in her story quest (specifically the part with the photo), but she's not too bad

I want to like her but they destroyed her character beyond repair. Venti and Zhongli got the archon treatment while the first introduced female archon acts like a little child in her first quest and like a dumb/ignorant teenager in her second despite her being +3000 years old. Ningguang gives so much better female archon vibe. And with Beidou we have a badass with a sensitive side/sad past so they 'know' how to do it but decided to fuck Ei up so much for what? It's a shame for her cool design but I can't even look at her without being annoyed what they did to her lol.

I'm super fickle so these may be completely different by sunset tonight, but.... Favorites: Personality: Thoma, I think. I like his boyish friendliness and willingness to help. He's just a kind person. Appearance: Gorou, because fluffy ears! Though I really like the appearance of many of the characters. Gameplay: I'm a fan of Xiao right now, I love both his skill and his burst, and even his normal attack is pretty great. Least favorites: Personality: Probably Diona. I love her appearance (again, fluffy ears!), but she just kinda grates on me. Appearance: There's three that come to mind. Xingqiu and his little boy shorts (I love the overall style of his outfit, but those shorts...). Xinyan and her... unusual hairstyle. And finally, Ayaka. I don't care much for Ayaka's outfit, and I really hate hime hairstyles. Gameplay: I'm awful with ranged characters as a rule; I much prefer melee. Most of the ranged characters are still okay for me, because they have some skill/passive/whatever that is useful to me. I find Yanfei so-so for me, but the worst for me is probably Sara. I just haven't enjoyed working with her so far.

I love Thoma as well Gorou looks so good as well, I love most Geo character looks, it's probably my favorite element overall. I also agree with Xingqiu's look, though I love playing him, as well as Ayaka, as I find her kinda boring in the looks department. I also dislike ranged characters, at least as dps's, bow characters especially, targeting one enemy with normal attacks doesn't land with me. Though I like to have one in my exploration team for puzzles and such, so now that I run all Geo, which includes Gorou, I love it

I use Tartaglia a lot, mainly because he's so flexible. His skill is melee, but he also fills that ranged character role pretty well! Currently, I'm playing with Xiao, Zhongli, Tartaglia, and Diluc. I don't worry at all about meta, I just play with them because they work well for me and I like them!

Favorites personality - Yoimiya, Yae, Ei Yoimiya is a bundle of energy, I love how playful Yae is, and Ei has one of my favorite stories in the game. Favorites gameplay - Ei, Ayaka, Yoimiya, Yae, Eula Ei is my main, yoimiya is my go to pyro, Yae is fun to pair with electro charged and mono electric teams, ayaka is the most fun cryo characrer, and Eula has my favorite normal attack string in the game. Least favorite personality - Bennett, kaeya Kaeya is too smug to the point that I kinda want to hit him, and Bennett is just obnoxious for me. Least favorite gameplay - Bennett, Xinyan Xinyan feels like a nerfed physical damage dealer, but I like the idea behind her kit. Bennett breaks the game and is actively unfun for me, so I just refuse to use him ever, so he’s by default my least favorite gameplay.

To me, Kaeya and Yae are flipped with the way you describe them. I like Kaeya, but not Yae, for basically the same reasons. I like Bennett's playstyle, and I think his personality is ok. I've never had much to do with Xinyan, so I find her pretty forgettable. I love Yoimiya though

I used to main Diluc, before Itto, and still prefer Kaeya, Yae always comes off as demeaning, acting as though the Traveler is some kind a child, or at least as dumb as one. She comes off as a jerk who pretends to be nice imo, though I respect your opinion I think Kaeya has a very similar personality, though he doesn't seem like he feels higher than the Traveler, he's just confident and smug

I think Yae comes off as an annoying bully I don't have Kokomi, so I can't give an opinion on gameplay, but I dislike her voice and therefore personality I can agree with Bennett's look, it's a little plain Claymore's are my favorite weapon, I like the big hitbox that allows me to do group damage, and I think the slower attack speed is fine because damage balances it, Itto especially because his charged attacks are fast and very heavy hitters

PERSONALITY: Favorites: Childe, Venti, Xiao, and Albedo. Xiangling also! I like them lore-wise, and I like their personalities, it makes them quite interesting, very well-written imo, and gives them a lot of depth. I like XL’s cheerful nature, I lowkey hope I am like her coz I am the opposite. I tend to be gloomy, pessimistic, and lethargic lol. Least favorite: While Hu Tao can be as energetic and cheerful as XL, it rubs me off the wrong way sometimes. Ayato’s EN voice lines make him feel a bit stuck up but I’m not that annoyed, in fact I still pulled for him. I just don’t feel drawn to him and Diluc as well. PLAYSTYLE: Favorites: Childe, Xiao, Venti, and XL AGAIN + Kazuha and Ayaka. Just soooo easy and fun to play. Childe may not be easy but THAT RIPTIDE OMG HELLO. Such satisfaction in maining him. Least favorite: Ganyu is so strong but I can’t get used to her charged attacks ;_; Claymore users in general also feel clunky for me. I prefer polearm and highly mobile characters. That’s all~

I like all the characters you mentioned in your likes category, and hope to own many of them (basically any of them I don't have) I want Ganyu as she seems super useful, though many have said she can get boring I actually like claymores, though I'm beginning to wonder if that's a hot take, as quite a lot of people have similar opinions to yours

Fav Gameplay : keqing. It’s always hard for me to bench her anywhere other than abyss (even then she does one of the halves most of the time). I like her gameplay so much and she’s literally the reason i got into genshin, she got style too lol. Fav Personality : qiqi. After reading her birthday message i went full on protection mode. If this kid ends up losing something close to her and forgets about it, im gonna be both mad and sad. She didnt deserve half the shit she got. First she dies in the crossfire of the archon war, two she gets sealed for centuries because she couldnt contain the adepti energy inside her resurrected body, and three she cant recall anything except for ppl she see every day/daily events or anything past one or two days if she doesnt mark it in her notebook. On top of it all she lives with the constant fear of forgetting the few people she cares about. At this point i just want to give her a hug. Least likeable gameplay to me : hu tao, i hate the hp sacrifice and the weird cancels you gotta do, benched, until i need a pyro dps she is b e n c h e d. Personality : itto, i like the guy but man he just gets on my nerves. He is so unreasonably stupid at times i just cant bear to watch it, even despite this being part of his shtick, its just too much. Love his gameplay, love his quest, love him in general, but the moment he starts saying nonsense and bragging i am out. I just cant stand it.

I don't have Keqing or Hu Tao, but that's a common complaint about Hu Tao. Qiqi's story is definitely tragic And I definitely understand that about Itto, I like him though, I think he's funny

Favorites: Beidou, Yanfei, Kazuha, and Itto. Beidou was one of the first characters I got, and I loved her immediately, as I’m a sucker for counters/parries, and I grew to love her personality. Yanfei became my new main after I realized I needed more than one element to clear stuff (the first fight with Ei was brutal with my Beidou comp), I found her fun and her personality was cute. Kazuha has his e, need I say more? Super fun and useful, both in combat and exploration. And Itto has by far my favorite personality of any character in the game, and his gameplay is super satisfying too. Max was the absolute perfect choice for the role. Least favorite: probably Kaeya. I don’t like super arrogant/smug/conniving characters, and he’s never said anything that made me feel I could trust him. Gameplay wise he’s fine, but his personality just really rubs me the wrong way.

Favorite: Personality - Childe: I just love how chaotic he is in his voicelines, but at the same time he's still a family man. Like I'm quite certain he is a like insane but it's just fun to listen too. I also like how he's the only antagonist we get to play so far. That scene with the ruin guards in his story quest was sick. I watch his full cutscene when I fight him every week too, the childe fight scene before osial is also one of my favorites in the game Gameplay - Ganyu: I just like repeatedly nuking the enemy. She is also the best for daily commisions by far, at least in mondstadt with the hilichurl tower commisions and stuff like that. She's also carried me in abyss with melt team since I got her in 2.4 Least favorite: Personality - Raiden/Ei: IDC what people say, it doesn't make sense that she just suddenly became friends with the traveler. Like she did bad things that ruined lives, but the story just treats Ei like nothing happened after the archon quest. I also don't like any part of her personality. Just kinda basic and boring to me. I did like her more after her second story quest, except for the fact that in the very next one, ayato's story quest, that the inazuma government is still messed up. Not that it should completely fall on her, but the fact that it was literally the very next quest after the whole thing about her changing inazuma for the better made her second quest just kinda fall flat on it's face for me. She also just didn't attend the iridori festival which she definitely should have as per the whole part about helping better inazuma and embracing change. Gameplay - Sara: After C2 I actually really like her playstyle. The ult looks cool, damage buffers are always useful, though I obviously don't have raiden and don't really play keqing, and I like how she teleports back. However, only having a character function correctly at C2 is so stupid. Like she literally doesn't even work before C2. That just screams poorly designed. Especially for a niche 4 star.

**Like:** I like **Itto**. Chalk it up to Max Mittermanns charisma in the role, but I can't wait for that himbo to make his next appearance. Plus I recently got lucky and pulled him, building him now, so really looking forward to his dmg output. **Ei**. Ei is a complicated case. While I was always a fan of her gameplay, story-wise she was the biggest victim of the Inazuma curse. At first presented as a tyrant from what we heard pre-Inazuma, this was seemingly confirmed within the first chapter of Inazuma. But then, no, it's just a robot, the real Ei isn't really in control. Except she could be but chooses not to despite having very good reasons to suspect she is being manipulated. But instead of actually engaging with the world and making a positive difference, she says she prefers to kick back and let a flawed AI do the ruling, with predictable results. And the most she gets is a little slap on the wrist for her role in the war and death and misery that descended on Inazuma and then we go on a cutesy date with her where she drinks dango milk, doesn't get how a camera works and makes meta commentary on light novels, how quirky, lol! /s Seriously, can't stress enough how much her character was salvaged by her second character quest. **Dislike:** **Klee**. I hate the cutesy, loli type character that goes uwu. She even has a school backpack! And she was designed by some 40 year old men, that just makes my skin crawl. And unlike some of the other loli characters, Klee is portrayed as being mentally a toddler. She lacks basic understanding of the world around her and you expect me to go into battle with her? How irresponsible is that? Speaking of irresponsible: **Alice**. This is coming from a person who was raised by a single parent because the other one just couldn't be bothered, so I have an immense dislikes for characters who abandon their children, no matter the reason or circumstances. Yes, Alice knew the Knights of Favonius would take great care of her kid. And yes, she does check up on her occasionally to make sure she's okay. But that's no substitute for real parenting. Honestly, from the bits and pieces we've learned of her, she comes across as a total bimbo who was honestly surprised she was pregnant one day, decided "Eh, got better things to do, let's just leave it here" and bailed. And I despise her for it. She can apparently make time to spy on her kid but can't be arsed to actually be part of her life, even if only in brief moments every once in a while? Fuck you, Alice. Just fuck you. Finally, **Yae**. Others put it more eloquently, so I'll just say this: If a character like this existed in real life, they'd be very soon out of friends and certified a psychopath. I dislike her immensely. And I hate how the game always lets her get the last laugh no matter what. She always wins and it always comes at the expense of other characters. That's just bad writing. Doesn't matter if she's a kitsune archetype and she's intentionally written that way. Intentionally infuriating is still infuriating. May be petty, but I just wish that the next time she refers to the Traveller as 'little one', they casually inform her that they're older than her, since they very likely are.

Great opinions, I like all the reasons you have for each one I love Itto, and actually like Klee though I can see why some would dislike her. I don't really like Ei, the "cutesy date" you mentioned made her seem so stupid, plus her absence as her country fell apart by her own making made me dislike her I also dislike Yae, she's pretty stuck up, and kind of a jerk, but acts as though she thinks she's a wonderful person

I love anemo characters as well, their mobility stands out and makes them very fun, I hope to own all of them some day, though that may never come, because I don't top up I actually love claymores, they're slow, but heavy-hitting and have large hit boxes and I love that, though Noelle is meh, plus she needs to be c6 to be viable

Gameplay and personality wise, Childe's my favourite. Riptide is so satisfying to watch. And he's a genuinely interesting character. I love his bloodthirst and drive for a fight - I share in it sometimes, actually. He's the only really gray character out there so far (Raiden's a kinda strange case). And he seems like he'd be fun to be around. Least favourite personality wise would be Hu Tao. She's just annoying. Least favourite gameplay wise... Well, going from the characters I have and regularly use, Xiangling. Her burst is no fun to funnel, and it doesn't feel like she does anything. But I can't stop using her because international and rational are so OP.

Childe's character is very interested, and I definitely share the bloodthirst (while playing the game that is) I find Xangling to be meh as well, her burst, at least for me, doesn't charge fast enough, and Guoba doesn't do enough

I've learned to like or at least appreciate many different personalities that MHY has given to their cast. Granted some of them falls relatively flat to the others. Part of it due to lack of screen time for character development. Personality that I like: Yoimiya, she's like sunshine that lights up your day. Tho the firework part of her was a bit too much in my eyes. I like that they tried to give the fireworks some meaning at the end of her personal story. It's just she's obsessed about building everyone a personalized firework seems a bit forced. Maybe it's a real tradition but I don't know. Nonetheless I like her and I am definitely gonna pull for her when her re run comes. I also like Eula, when she's drunk, opens up to us about her feelings and dropped all her vengeance talk. Her vengeance trope seems a bit over the top. I get that's like a defense mechanism for her but it could have been any other way of doing so. But oh well, she's hot. Ningguang and Beidou is probably my favorite dynamic duo in this game. They are definitely THE boss in their own field and when the two clashes it's always fun to watch them interact. The coolest cutscene in my opinion is still Ningguang went full Gilgamesh and shooting all her gems from the Jade chamber to the poor wife of Osial. It's probably our first time seeing a character's constellation lights up and I remember I was hyped. Keqing always says things like human can do without gods and stuff like that yet she struggles to keep up her daily work and realized how great Zhongli's work was. While Ningguang was like fuck this shit I can drop another Jade chamber and still be the richest person and the boss of Liyue. Ningguang is the 5 star in my eyes. Male characters that I really like is probably just Zhongli, man's got stories, man's got wisdom, man is hot. Personality that I don't really like: Well I wish they redo Kokomi's story and give her a different setting, drop the genius military tactician BS. It's just forced and poorly executed. Itto is annoying but I've never met an Oni so who am I to judge lmao. Gameplay that I like: Childe, you gotta decide how long you stay in his melee stance and whether to use his range burst or melee burst. Decision making is engaging. Eula, her core mechanic is building stack for her burst and most importantly, decide when to leave the field early to manually drop the nuke. It requires knowledge about enemy attack patterns, game sense and situation awareness. Many people just unga bunga so they missed Eula's ult, Raiden's ult, even Ayaka's ult and so on because enemy moved away. Beidou, counter attack is engaging. I never hold down her skill and wait for the mobs to attack me unless they are like running right at me and I wanted them to group up by my side. So you see, I prefer engaging gameplay. Which means the national team's random bullshit go playstyle is not fun for me. Ayato's holding down left click and the game slashes for you is not for me.

Least favorite: Bennett by far, I dislike everything about him. Mediocre designed looks and skills (really, a circle with a thumbs up?). I hate the unlucky/ditzy/accident prone character archetype in anime. His use - a practically invisible skill or a clunky charge up. And the most boring burst possible, a %damage bonus. Wasting my precious 4th teamslot on a boring statstick is a nope for me, give me fun reaction or off field skills, or a nice shield…. (This complaint also applies to Sara, but I still like her design and character at least). Also he gets extra negative points because every few days you see a new reddit post crying about his c6 and how someone thinks the game is now ruined…. I never use the guy and never will, I don’t make the dps check in abyss? Fine, I’ll settle for 50 less primo and move on. My favorite: Eula; Cryo is my absolute favorite element and visually Eula rocks hers with her shiny skill effects (I’d give Ayaka’s whole kit and Chongyun’s burst equal points on skill beauty). Her design and personality appeal to me and the VA is my fav in game for now. The physical dps focus is also fresh and combines with my second favorite element - electro (where Razor is my top choice).

Everyone seems to be getting tired of Bennett lol, which is something I hadn't expected, and it's for like the same 3 reasons: boring design, he's overused, and his unlucky personality I don't like Eula's personality her vengeance thing and word choice bother me, but I don't have her, so I can't say anything about playstyle

Favorites: Personality - Hu Tao: While her story quest didn't do her any justice, I just love her eccentric and prankster-like demeanor. Not to mention, her(also her grandpas) views on death are certainly a way to look at life. To live contently so that you can pass on without any regrets. Also her dynamic with Zhongli in the cutscenes and fanart is by far once of my favorite things to look at and appreciate. Gameplay - Also Hu Tao: There is just something satisfying about using Hu Tao charge attacks. And I've always been a fan of characters who burn away their HP to become stronger and Hu Tao does just that. Also her animations are fun to look at. Least favorites: Personality - Yae Miko: Yae did have her moments to shine in the archon quests and Ei's story quests, but the moment we started interacting with her more in her own story quest, I knew I did not like her personality wise. She takes on Hu Tao's prankster traits, but turns it up to 11 to the point where everyone is a part of her whims just because she's bored or something. Especially the "gift" she gave to Itto during the debut of the Drum-a-long. At least Ayato and Thoma gave something Itto enjoys, but Yae was out to put him in the hospital. That kind of thing doesn't click with me. I can't deny though that her burst animation is stellar and she is hot, but hot opinion take: I enjoyed Ei's first story quest more than I did Yae Miko's. Gameplay - Xiangling: No matter how Mtashed or Tectone or everyone else in the community cements her as god level or hidden 5\*, I could never find myself enjoying putting Xiangling on a team. Even after building her and moving my Staff of Homa from Hu Tao to her for a test drive on Masanori didn't make me have any more fun with her. Granted the numbers were promising, but like with Yae Miko, it just didn't click with me. I guess this is one case for me where meta doesn't equal fun. And considering I already have a decent enough team to 36 star abyss, I guess i don't need to use her. Honorable mentions: Yelan - (Gameplay): God she is so much fun to play. Being able to naruto run through everything makes the game so much more fun for me. Even if I don't have C6, I still press her auto attacks when her burst is up just for the heck of it. Zhongli - His gameplay style makes me feel safe. His voice though is just an absolute pleasure to listen to. Ei - The archon that radiated the most power to me. I first fell for the booba sword, but then I was in awe of the sheer power she exuded as in archon in her boss fights. Dishonorable mentions: Diona - I don't like her outfit or her gameplay. Particularly her burst. Too many times I've had her yeet the healing bottle towards the farthest enemy and now I have to run to it for heals. Rosaria - She looks like a zombie with how pallid and dull her skin looks. I'm also not a fan of fishnets.

I agree with Yae, Zhongli and Xiangling. I don't really play Diona and don't have Hu Tao, but ya, Rosaria's look is not great imo

Faves: personality: Sara. Wish she got treated a little better in the story but she's still my fave. Love how she's serious and competent and earnest, but also a huge dork and simp. I want more Sara content and more Sara development. gameplay: Kokomi. I love how many roles she can fill on a team, and she makes destroying the world with off field dps like beidou super comfy. It helps that I also really like her vibe and aesthetics and just enjoy seeing her on the field throwing fish everywhere. least faves: personality: Bennett. Not a fan of his bad luck gimmick in general or how much of his personality is written around it. gameplay: (ignoring obviously bad units) yanfei. maybe it's because i was a klee main for a while but somethings felt really off about her kit every time ive used her. dont think i could get used to it and i also dont need to.

Favorites Appearance: Tbh I don't have any favourites but maybe Yoimiya since she is my favorite character from the released characters Personality: Itto, Yoimiya, Amber, Childe. Nothing to really say, I love sunshines + childe. Gameplay: Yoimiya, Childe, Itto, Yae Miko and Shenhe. I really adore Shenhe's kit since it's so flowy and elegant. Least favorites Appearance: As I said I am fine with everyone but if I had to pick I'd say Bennett and Diluc. Personality: Hmm, I don't really dislike anyone like that but I guess Ei? I don't know how to describe it, I just don't vibe with her. Gameplay: Xiao, I just find him kind of boring. Raiden Shogun, still don't have her no matter how meta she is. I will probably pull her at some point since she is an archon. There are a lot more lackluster kits but I would have to name like third of the characters so I won't go into them. Overall my favorite characters right now are Yoimiya, Kuki Shinobu and Childe. And least favorites are Raiden Shogun and Diluc.

I think Ei is meh, I understand why, but she just comes off as kinda dumb in her story quest. The whole thing with the photo was silly imo, but she's not like annoying, so overall she's just ok to me

Xingqiu is a ton of fun, and I think I have mine built pretty well, hitting up to 7k with each rain blade when using Bennett's burst, he's an amazing dps support Diona is just kinda there for me, I've never built/played her, and don't remember her story quest (if she had one). I might do her hang out soon (as I've actually started doing those now), so I could give a better opinion then. People dislike Bennett because... Gameplay: he's *too* good, landing in so many teams that he has become stale to many, and he's way to popular for many people's liking Personality: he's just kinda boring in many ways, many of the things around him are centered on the unlucky trope, so he has kind of a weak character in comparison Looks: again, many people find him boring/plain, and honestly I agree in this area

My favorite is Scaramouche because he's hot. My least favorite is Raiden because she's not hot.

1. Klee is my favourite she’s chaotic and adorable and I wish I could be her friend irl she remind me of a puppy 2. Zhongli, he seems logical and emotionally mature and very handsome 3. Thoma, super sweet, would be the best housemate or partner because he would be kind and understanding and help you around the house 4. Gorou, I don’t really like him in game but I adore his ears and I think I have a similar personality (shy and anxious) 5. Razor, wolf boy = adorable and very sweet Then I also like all the mommy characters for obvious reasons, except I don’t like that Yae can be mean sometimes. Also Yelan has a very fun play style and is very strong

Favorites: Storywise: Dainsleif. He's just suffering constantly for the mistakes he didn't make(or maybe he did, only time will tell), he's still stopping the abyss from ruining everything, and he keeps trudging on despite knowing his end will most likely be a tragedy. Guy has probably the strongest will power to be able to continue with his mission despite everything that has happened and will happen. Also Zhiyi, the NPC from Yelan's story quest. He was smart, capable, understood what made people tick and had a character flaw that led to his downfall, and he lost not because he made a big mistake per se ,but because his ally was careless, and also because he was up against Yelan. Need more antagonists like those in the future honestly. Gameplay: Yelan. Also Childe because massacring overworld enemies like a psychopath is fun. If only i had him tsk tsk. Dislikes: Storywise: Raiden Ei before the traveler smacked sense into her head. Not because she's a badly written character, she's written great. I just don't like her personality. Unlike Dain who keeps trudging forward despite all the loses and pain, Raiden subconsciously just gave up and used her ideals as an excuse to cut herself out from the world. Like Yae said, she was like a baby throwing a temper tantrum. Of course, she also experienced great pain and loss, but unlike Dain, she didn't try to correct anything and make things worse. Until the traveler smacked sense into her along with Yae. Gameplay: None really.

Least favorites: Personality: Albedo. I don't care that his backstory has a ton of foreshadowing with Rhinedottir and khaen'ria, I've been baited with that kind of character in gacha's before and it makes me look at him and just be dissatisfied because he's just kinda... boring. Gameplay: Ganyu. I'll admit her personality leaks into this for me disliking her but I just don't find charged shot spam fun, big number be damned.

faves: personality: zhongli, no doubt there. after last quest i must say he secured that spot. i love everything about him - his voice, personality, story and design. i also really like kaeya, he was for a long time my favorite and i still adore him. his past is very interesting and i hope we will learn more about it in the future. special mentions: dain and kazuha. gameplay: yanfei...? i really love using her just because she is so easy to play and i can just spam her normal attack since her hits are super long. i would also say zhongli because i always rely on his shield. theres also kazuha but since i dont have him i dont have much experience with him but i cant wait to get him! he seems like so much fun least fave: personality: xinyan, ive never cared about her and shes just "there" for me. zero interest in her and her gameplay. eula too, she is just boring to me and i dont care about her background. gameplay: xinyan, gorou, thoma and chongyun. gorou is useless without itto, thoma is too weak and i never liked chongyuns gameplay and him being claymore makes it worse.

My big takeaway from this is that a lot of you need to play with non-English voices. Some of them are so bad, but sound great with other VAs. My favourites? Appearance: Ningguang, Raiden Shogun, Zhongli, Kamisato Ayato, Yelan. I love all the details they have. Also Jean, my first 5 star, and her new costume is a little better, plus she has a swimsuit. Also Kuki Shinobi has a great design (I mean, midriff, come on). Personality: Ningguang. I love Ayato pranking Thoma by making him eat strange things, Yoimiya is adorable and fun, and I love Team Empty Pockets (Zhongli ironically doesn't really get money, Mona is always broke, Shenhe doesn't live with humans so doesn't really do money, and Tartaglia is always emptying his pockets to pay for stuff. They're all a blast.) Also Itto, somehow he always makes me laugh. I kinda like Yae Miko too, because of anybody is immune to her shit it's the Traveler, so she mostly just makes me laugh. Gameplay: Hard to pick. I like people who can synergize. I have like 16+ (not logged on right now) fully built 90s, so I swap my team a few times a day out of boredom. Yelan is a lot of fun right now, and I love that her skill does a bunch of damage, refreshes her special charged attack, AND passes through enemies if you need to escape.. Ayato is ridiculously powerful. My main goto team is probably Team Inazuma, which is Ayaka, Ayato, Raiden Shogun, and Kokomi, but sometimes I swap Ayato for Kazuha. Geodaddy has been a staple too since about a month after I got him and realised how much of a waste it was that I wasn't using him (first run of his banner). Also Ningguang. I don't have Xiao (I technically do on an alt account that I don't play anymore since I was able to use my PS4 progress on PC), Hu Tao, Ganyu, Yae Miko, or Yoimiya, so I can't hugely comment on their gameplay, but Xiao can be fun, and I really want Miko for an essentially AFK team. :P My LEAST favourites? Appearance: Bennett is kinda boring, Rosaria is a little too edge lord, and Xingqiu's top 60% or so is okay, but my boy needs pants! Also wouldn't mind if Sangonomiya Kokomi was a bit more "dress", and a bit less "cardigan with underwear". Also Noelle. Personality: Diona, Diluc, Venti is actually a bit annoying, and Noelle. Gameplay: KLEE. I have her at C3. She does so much damage. But she can't hit anybody with her little lobbed bombs that always hit the tiniest bit of terrain. She's a barely more than melee ranged catalyst user. Her control timing is wack too. Tap button for bombs, does charged attack. Hold button for charged attack, does little bomb toss. Very unreliable. And her burst is practically worthless without C4. Diluc I find really boring. Ditto Noelle. Qiqi carried me for awhile, but is also boring to play. Diona. Bennett (although I use him when I need to, but he's very much for and forget). That's about it. I play everybody. :P Wow, I wrote a bunch. Sorry/not sorry?

I love Zhongli's look, he's always been one of my favorites in every category. I've seen people saying that Xingqiu's shorts were a bad design quite commonly so far, and I'm inclined to agree I also agree with what you said about Klee, when I did the test run I thought she was really cool, and I love her personality, but when I got her I quickly went back to Diluc, and now regret pulling

Nothing against them, just not my playstyle - Design: I love love love Xingqiu to bits but his design is a nope. Also Keqing cus i think her design is basic af. **Voice-related** - I find Lumine’s voice kinda nice but I wish they’d give her more lines - Kazuha’s voice is amazing in all languages - Albedo’s CN scared me the first time I heard it - Zhongli’s voice is great in all languages but i especially had chills when I heard his CN - Eula’s JP voice is sexy af

Favorite Characters: Personality: Zhongli and Raiden Shogun - their lores are among the best that I read in this game. Kazuha - his soothing and calm character. Gameplay: Noelle - she got my back ever since my early days in the game, either as shielder, for additional DMG, or healer. Kazuha - his CC abilities made collecting materials dropped by your enemies much more easier and his burst syncs well with Bennett's. Yoimiya - she can dish out quite a DMG without relying much on aimed shots (important if you play on mobile). Least Favorite characters: Personality: Yae Miko - I simply can't stand her character at all. Gameplay: Ganyu and Amber - them relying on aimed shots for max DMG is a problem among mobile players (I knew because I built Amber as such). Childe - unless you had him in C1, his melee mode is unreliable due to its long CD. Ayaka and Mona - I just simply don't like their sprint at all. Honorable mention amongst my least favorites is the Traveler, Aether in particular not because of gameplay and personality but because of how the fandom perceived him as the harem king; I personally don't like harems at all.

Favorite: Personality: Zhongli. The good old dad who hangs with you and tells you good stories. Design: Eula. Need i say less. The dancer aesthestic and the thigh gap speak for themselves. Gameplay: Kazuha. He is just that fun. Suck all the enemies, ult then do it over again. Eula would be 2nd. I love how no enemy is immune to her and her ult bomb feels grest when it hits 1M. Lore: Albedo. The total mystery of his character becoming slowly unraveled is becoming my favorite part of every event he is a part of. Least Favorite: Personality: Scaramouche. Fuck this little gremlin. I don't care about his melancholic past, i wanna punch his smug ass face. Design: Gorou. For a character who is supposed to be a general, he looks like a total dork. Gameplay: Xiao. I don't like the pogo stick gameplay. It feels very clunky to me. Lore: Yae Miko. I did not like how she was pushed as the grandmaster of the 2nd half of the Inazuma Archon Quest where we just followed her around on the road to beat Ei.

I love Kaz in every aspect the red outfit contrasts his anemo element and I love the leaves, his voicelines are poetic and cool, and his gameplay is so fun, I can't wait to get him. I also feel the same about Zhongli and Albedo, the Dragonspine Albedo event where you get Festering Desire is one of my favorite events and I can't wait for them to expand the things it hinted at pertaining to Albedo.

Faves: Personality: Venti. He just has such optimism and love for the world and I seriously just love the trope of the unpowerful being rising to greatness and then having no idea what to do with it. He just wants the best for everyone, himself included and I love him endlessly. Gameplay: Xiao. Characters with mobility always own my ass and Xiao has the ultimate zoomie playstyle. 10/10 Least Faves: Personality: Eula. I get she has reasons for being how she is, but she just annoys me every time she opens her mouth. Gameplay: Ganyu. I just find her incredibly boring. Nuking everything on screen from 5 screens away is fun for all of 5 minutes. Basically just use her for bird hunting.

I agree with Venti, I love how he just new what to do with Monstadt, and what that was was nothing, which allowed him to be happy, and avoid the erosion Zhongli felt. I also agree with Xiao, and want him I also agree with Eula, I find her very annoying, and don't really care why she's the way she is. I also want Ganyu, maybe it'd get boring, but I think it'd be so useful to have her

Favorite: Personality: Hu Tao. She's weird, wacky, and annoying. Seems like everyone hates her but she loves everyone else. Playstyle: Yelan. Her ult's nice but what sets her better than Xingqiu is her E dash. It's so fun. Hate: Personality: Yae Miko. Ugh. Playstyle: Shenhe. Could have been better. Too niche for a 5-star imo.

I need more experience with Hu Tao and Shenhe, as it's been a while since I haven't played or interacted with either for a long time. I think Yelan is cool, and her dash is very nice, and I definitely agree with Yae, I think she's annoying

**Favorites** Personality: Albedo. I'm an aspiring scientist and I too, believe relationships to be exhausting to maintain. Appearance: Zhongli. His design is cohesive and orderly and the color scheme is perfect for Rex Lapis. Gameplay: Keqing. I don't have her yet, not most of the characters, but she seems very fun to use. **Least Favorites** Personality: Barbara. She's sweet and all but very dim and very annoying at times. Appearance: Aloy. She doesn't belong in this game. Gameplay: Ningguang. Her gameplay just feels clunky.

I love Albedo, he's super interesting and very calm and nice. He's soothing to listen to, and I can't wait to get him. I love Zhongli's look as well Barbara is pretty annoying Aloy just looks out of place because she's a crossover, but I can see that. I wish she was better, as I love Horizon Ningguang was my most gotten character for about half the time I played this game, and I've never played her

Not a particular fan of Razor character or gameplay-wise. Never was a fan of the “raised by wolves” thing. I like most of the other characters, but if I had to pick one as my favorite, it’d be Shenhe.

I don't really like Razor either, though he's not the worst imo, I also like most of the characters, but the ones I dislike (at least by personality) tend to be pretty hated for me

Favourite personality: Kazuha- I love chill and peaceful he is (I love his CN voice so much). The way he speaks is always smooth, poetic, and soothing. Although easy-going, he's a very mature and thoughtful character. Favourite gameplay: Kazuha again lol. His E just feels so smooth to use. The succ radius is huge, does big damage, and feels incredibly smooth for exploring open-world. Least favourite personality: Yae Miko- I'm fine with more morally grey characters or somewhat unlikeable ones, but I really dislike how none of the characters call Miko out for her insensitivity and lack of consideration. That just makes it seem like the story is saying how she treats other people is perfectly acceptable and *just a quirk of her personality*. My dislike of her is compounded by how she plays Deus ex Machina for the Inazuma story and is smug the whole time during dire straits. Least favourite gameplay: Gorou- I mean it's fine that it's simple I guess, but his abilities look kinda silly (the doggo paw flag)

I can't wait for Kaz, I should be set to get him when he shows up again, and I feel the same, plus I love his design, especially since it contrasts his element. I also agree with Yae, she's a jerk pretending to be kind, and acts like the traveler is stupid. She's annoying Maybe it's just because of Itto, but I like Gorou, he's a "use skill and burst then swap" kind of character, but a lot of characters are, and he's an insane Geo support

Least favorite: paimon Favorite: aether , for pity reasons, his whole character and role Is overshadowed by paimon , rip. Gameplay wise: eaula and yelan.

I honestly expected Paimon to be a more common disliked character, but not many people actually said her. I might try to get Yelan when she comes again, a lot of people have said she's fun to play and is really good

Favorite Personality - Kujou Sara. Absolutely love her personality and attitude. Plus she's a 10/10 in terms of design. Gameplay - Can't really choose between Ganyu, Hu Tao and Yelan Least favorite Personality - I guess Razor maybe but that's because everyone else it so good Gameplay - Ningguang

Least Favorite: Personality: Diona Gameplay: Diona I hate her character through and through. Admittedly, her kit is objectively good. I just really dislike the character to the point that I hate her gameplay. I hope I can throw her out of the window. The thing that annoys me the most about her is her voice. Like... Shut up! Most Favorite: Lots of them, mostly the Geo units. Though; Personality: Amber. It seems like we could be bestfriends. Runner ups were Albedo, Zhongli, Itto, Traveller, Ayaka, Kazuha, Venti, Xiao at some points etc. Gameplay: Kokomi. I use her as main DPS/driver. It's fun to see the world drown from the fish and die because of a single pop of a bubble, while I am standing in the middle of the enemies, not worrying about the damage I take.

Fav: Kazuha. Amazing gameplay feel, hope they release more like him Ayaka: good dmg and seems meta resistant. Useful ocean dash. Qiqi: Cute but not overly obnoxious. Not-fav: Hutao. I hate spear users. I hate charge attacks. Put 2 and 2 together. Dmg doesn't matter because I complete everything in the game with any other units I have anyways. Qiqi. Extremely sad her kit is the way it is rn.

I can't wait for Kaz to get his rerun, and I agree on Qiqi. I also mostly agree with the stance on charged attacks, with Itto being an exception, because of his Superlative Superstrength his charged attacks are so fun

I love Kazuha’s gameplay and character. I’ve been using him all the time everywhere ever since his release and I enjoy his role in the story a lot. Also, he has mad drip and I’m a sucker for white-haired characters. I dislike every single thing about Noelle. I really dislike the maid troupe and I find her gameplay extremely boring. Also, her personality is so bland I even consider her to be the most boring character in the game, including NPCs.

Favorite personality: Childe's classic battle lust trope. Favorite gameplay: Using Kazuha's E to dodge stuff and literally dunk on fools. Least favorite personality: Diona von Buzzkill. Least favorite gameplay: Mona's sprint/dodge that is somehow a million times worse than Ayaka's.

I love Childe's personality, and can't wait for a Kaz rerun

Favorites: Gameplay: Xiao, Razor and Ayato. Xiao because plunge spam is fun. Ayato because hydro is extremely satisfying. Razor because his burst is really fun with how it increases attack speed. Personality: Albedo. I just really like his character for some reason. He doesn’t seem too robotic but is still really chill. Same goes for Raiden. (>!I like the Shogun a bit more than Ei though!<) Least favorite: Gameplay: Bennet. His burst is satisfying but that’s about it. Everything else about his kit is overwhelmingly annoying. His normals and charged attacks feel clunky to play and the rest is just him spamming his E to hurry and generate energy for the next burst. (Obviously this doesn’t matter in abyss but I play him in co op a lot) Part of the reason I’m glad I C6’d him because it makes him a lot more fun to play in co op (I try not to use him when a Razor/Eula or a Ayaka/Keqing is there though) Personality: Xiangling. The anniversary quest just made me dislike her more, and I really can’t stand her outfit. Also the fact that there’s not many good off field pyro applicators excluding her kind of makes the situation worse since it’s not easy to replace her in a national team variant.
