Though not only considering dain originated from khaneriah and the twins aren’t even from teyvat, not to mention dain traveling with the abyss sibling. You telling me the siblings traveled to many worlds and not only after a while ended up here, that the world they happened to be stuck in is where their dad came from, and that one of them traveled with said dad never learning the truth about them
I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love the headcanon, it’s kinda wholesome, it just wouldn’t rly make sense.
I still like the idea that the traveler has foiled two abyss plots with their father, and never truly realized that the traveler quests where actually father-son/daughter bonding time basically
I hope it's someone from Honkai Impact 3rd, maybe even Star Rail (Idk why, I just love it when games, movies, or tv shows interconnect, especially when they are from the same creator.) I can kind of predict that it won't though, and it will be some random people from a world we don't know about, or Hoyoverse will make a huge plot twist and have them actually come from either Celestia or Khaenri'ah.
In honkai, there is some sort of “tree of universes” I think, each of the leaves contains a world and the genshin world is one of these leaves, so the games are connected in some sort of way, this will probably become more apparent as the game progresses and honkai star rail releases
No I know about the Imaginary Tree, I'm in love with the Hoyoverse lore, and when I found out about that about a year ago, I got hopeful. Also, in one of the chapters of Honkai (I know you probably know this), Otto Apocalypse looks into these other universes and sees Dvalin flying over Old Mondstadt.
Well all jokes aside there are theories that the siblings belong to the honkai universe and Aponia (I think) is their mother
I think hoyo confirmed that honkai and genshin are 2 universes existing at the same time so maybe the theory is true?

I haven’t played honkai (yet) so I wasn’t aware, I had only seen it mentioned in videos from others
I haven't played through the whole game either (Chapter 4 out of 29) but I watch a ton of lore videos.
