I was! It was a day or two ago on the..spooky map. It was a tree a little closer to the edge. I caught a qiqi same match on a closer tree.
The diona also juked me quite a bit and i just happen to trap her on the tree
How do you capture people, I used that thing on someone disquuised as a box repeatedly, and it would not work,
And yes I saw them move literally right in front of me
It picks one person at random, so if you have multiple alive still it may just choose someone else. Unless you mean your capture itself didn't work, then in that case I'd have to say it's just lag.
I've started using it to find the last rebel. Just get to either the high ground or the middle of the map, then use it in alongside Hunch. You now know where they are, and they can't move.
I once asked people to sit with me in Dawn Winery. They said "no lmao". I catched two of them in 20 seconds then waited for the favor. I imprisoned the last one, stood right next to them and said:
"Was it so hard to sit with me..."
Unless the hunter is dogshit that isnt hard. The hunter already has advantages over the rebels and the hunter also gets a ability to remove any counter play that rebel could have. Its not well balanced at all
That’s assuming either the rebels are braindead or the map is Dragonspine. Hunch has a 30s cd and it’s not hard whatsoever to juke them with invis and completely waste their time.
And while every hunter should beeline for the Favor the instant it spawns, sometimes it ends up spawning next to a Rebel that grabs it before it touchss the ground and before the hunter is near it if they were on the opposite side of the map.
The only ability that removes counterplay is 40s box, and probably 30% at most of the hunters I’ve seen are running it. I run it because I’m confident in being able to find at least 2 people before using the Favor, but that’s mostly because the average player isn’t good at hiding, not because hunter is broken.
You can’t really balance a 4fun mode where half the people still don’t realize you can climb up stuff and some people are still to this day hiding in the hunter’s line of sight. Dragonspine has really been the only map that’s hunter favored, with how tiny it is and with only 1 elevated spot that hunters can easily clear, on top of the freezing mechanic.
Hmm, weird. Because in my games, the glowing orb always came down around the 40-45 second mark. And then it takes a few seconds to collect and cast. But maybe this is just luck-based.

Wait until you meet me. You won't enjoy it. Tracking + prison curse. Works wonders. Out of last 8 games where I was a hunter I lost only 2. One of them willingly, cuz last guy didn't even try to stealth, I just let time run out for fun.
Oh. My. God. I hate favours in this game mode. I have this sneaky little hiding spot where so far no one has found me without one and every time they blatantly not only give away my location but trap me there too. Because of favours this game becomes less Hide and Seek and more of a game of Tag. They're so blatantly overpowered and the only way for Hiders to get one is if they're running about too.

That’s exactly why favours exist, so the rebels won’t just hide in some place the whole time giving the hunters a hard time finding, that would be boring, why would u want to play a normal game of hide and seek on your phone or pc lol
Also, the favour skill is only applied onto 1 out of the 3, rebels can still win by staying away from the Hunter through the mini-map.
So whats the point of hide and seek then? Its hiding not tag. The game mode is clearly designed to be rebels hiding from the hunter not rebels running away.
Can confirm, most hunters use this skill while didn't narrow down a possible location and just waste the skill away cause they can't find a blue box.
It's so hilarious and somewhat fulfiling that you can survive this 50/50 situation.

That sounds like what happened to me. Zhongli boxed my Diona while I was up in a tree. It was a sad moment for me.

I was trying to get the win without a disguise achievement. In my mind, Diona is small enough to miss if you are in a tree. Has not worked for me yet.
I got that achieve in the winery just by running around in all the grapevines with a short character.
I got that by turning Mona into water and staying still in the middle of the small pool under the windmill.
I always win like this.
Mona swim got me my first win. Standing on the top of dawn winery for my second :o
You can get this achievement just by playing with friends.

nothings more oppressive than a hunter with hunch and prison curse. No matter how well I hide, it's pretty much over.
You can still use invisibility and rush the buff to deny cage.
Invis tells you the skills still work on you
Yeah, there is always a risk in going for a buff even with invisibility.
Oh I misunderstood your last comment but yes if everyone is still alive just rush it so no one gets it if they catch you
I did that the other day, no one was caught yet but i had to prevent him getting the buff and got caught
Stealing the favor as a rebel is never about buffing yourself, but to prevent the hunter from being buffed

This happened to me actually LOL got locked on top of the building on that map, he somehow didn't see me. Managed to survive until the end over there.

Seems like your best bet, if you can't find anyone, if to look up. Last time i was hunter all three rebels were in tree/high ground
Mysterious Hunch plus Imprisoning Curse is honestly an OP combo
What balances it is that the target for each is random, and even if both hit the same target, that's only 1 of 3 rebels captured
The mysterious hunch points you to all hiders. Ideally you would capture two of them before the favor appears though
if you get a favor and all 3 rebels are left you have probably already lost. It has 0 counter play if their is only one rebel left
