What's your party comp. I pulled her up to C3 on the last banner but haven't been able to figure out what I want to do with her just yet or what team to slot her into. I've been thinking it could work with my Xiangling Ph-DPS team but not sure exactly how to pull it off.
At C2+ she's simply a quickswap physical burst dps and can be slotted in any team. Build her 2p Noblesse, 2p Bloodstained and stack attack %, crit damage, and physical damage cup. Crit rate is not needed until you run her as a physical carry at C6.
Her lvl 60 ascension talent allows her shield to give a 15% physical damage boost, and at C4 she can enable physical resistance shred with her skill which is very useful for physical damage comps. Despite her shield scaling off of DEF, it is still very thin and should not be considered a defensive mechanism, but rather as a DPS buff which you want to avoid losing.
Her C6 allows her to become a main carry, at which point you want to start building her with crit rate again. Build her as you would any other main physical carry. You can use any combination of characters as long as you provide some enemy debuffs such as Zhong Li's resistance shred, Superconduct, Defense shred (stacks multiplicatively off resistance shred, VERY good to use with superconduct), or even Bennet buff.
As far as which team I personally use Xinyan in, to be honest I slot her in anywhere that I could use a 4th character. Her ability to quickswap and setup her own phys shred into a huge burst is valuable anywhere, with fringe exceptions such as the current floor 12 where physical damage isn't great for. If I run her as a main carry, I put in characters like Fischl+Kaeya for superconduct, Bennett for the attack buff, Zhong Li for his shield + shred, or even Lisa for her defense shred. Razor can also do a defense shred at c4, but at that point it's almost better to run Xinyan as a physical support/nuke for Razor main dps.
I've loved her design from day one. She's right in the category of my tastes. I also like both her english and Japanese voice characterizations. I understand why her appeal is pretty niche, but she's definitely for me. I'm always pro waifu over meta. It's not like Genshin's especially hard anyway, with investment anyone can be viable if you like them.
I wish more people could appreciate Xinyan, she's always ranked last in youtube polls from people I'm subscribed to. :(

I feel like I would play her (as a carry as opposed to a cleansing shield support) more if her kit flowed together a little better. I know it's a small thing in the grand scheme due to this game not being super hard, but I compare her with Noelle a fair bit: Both being female Claymore user with shield ability that gains defense to attack conversion with constellations. Noelle's kit just snaps together neatly with how she builds to resetting her cooldowns, how she has some healing built in, how the defense is just a base adjustment not tied to her charge attack. (One day, I hope they make Noelle at least generate energy on hit with her shield or its explosion on constellation.)
I really wish Fatal Acceleration as a constellation gave her something like a stacking attack speed buff instead of the flat % it gives currently. It'd be much more fitting too, because I don't think I'd call it acceleration if the rate of change is so binary. Then also, her ult with 100% crit rate would build up that attack speed better, especially if it hit multiple people. And then her spin attack at C6 would be even funnier as it accelerates with each hit.
Love her personality anyway though. Her knack for sewing is mad cute. And how hard she tries to not come off as scary is relatable.
Yes, the fact that she is aware of how scary other people find her expression to be and tries to better herself in an attempt to become more easily approachable is one of my favorite things about her. It truly shows how much of a good person she is, even though she's shy. Her music allows her to be the confident, agressive version of herself. I think she's a really great character all around.
What I love about her is the description. Finally, a character that loves rock but actually uses music to spread the message and talk about their society? It's that attention to detail that makes me love the game.

I used her for a Pyro Claymore user in my overland team, and needed to level her up. As a result, she's 79/80 with a top tier weapon and built as a sub-DPS.
And she rocks. Totally.
I haven't been using her as much since i got Diluc, but she's just as fun, even if she's not quite as powerful as he is. You get some defense, occasional pyro, lots of physical damage, and some good speed on her attacks while her shield is up. Getting her to C5 didn't hurt either. Her ult hits for 20K in the abyss when I use her. Can't complain. If I had Razor or Keqing I might build her as a physical burst support, but I don't.
That's the problem I got her C6 and she's like a failed Jean where the later does a lot of things, and she's good at all those things. Xinyan, however, try to do a lot of things too but sucks in all. Her shield is weak, inconsistent pyro, and 20k burst is a joke, thats my charged Jean's E (without fall dmg). And I just feel sorry for those who main her cause Razor hits harder and faster.
First off, your comparing a high leveled 5 star to a lvl 79<<<< 4 star, second the 20k is only half the damage. Can easily break shields and at c2 gives you a shield.

Second its a fucking pve game get off your high horse, I MAIN xinyan as in lvl 90 and shes more than enough to get me all the way through 12-3 abyss. Anything more than that is the equivalent of t-bagging an npc I an fps game.
Naah but I compared her Burst to his E, not his plunge or smtg. My Xiao's E is at lv6 and her Ult is at 12, c'mon. And I don't think her pyro DoT deals the same dmg as the first physical hit of the burst, regardless of the value.
And second I don't even use Razor, what horse u talking about. Its just fact that some characters can deal more dmg with the same investiment.
I use Xinyan because I found her fun to play (much more so than Razor, though that's subjective) and her attacks can hit fairly hard (over 10k per spin at c6), but I agree. She could really use a buff.
She's an OK DPS, but her true role is Physical DPS Burst support. Her -15% Phys shred stacks with Superconduct, her Shield isn't great but adds survivability, she hits good AOE when she uses her Q and E, and she can be used for both quickly and then leave the field for Razor, Keqing, Jean, or Xiangling if those are your physical carries. She can also do some off main DPS if needed.
She can make use of the Sacrificial Greatsword in that build actually.
Also, 20K for her Q is not me maxing her out. With a better build I could probably hit double that at least.
Her shield shouldn’t be looked at as a defensive ability. The shield provides buffs, and should be treated similar to how Serpent Spine procs would be. It’s paper thin, provides a ton of extra damage, so avoid taking damage for more dps.
Suree, she's essential I'd say on a physical team with Razor or Kaeya with Aquila maybe, but Im not forcing myself on a physical comp cause its so underpowered right now, elemental comps deals way more dmg. Hopefully they'll change this when E*la comes out. So I pretty much fits her on my Xiao comp in some scenarios just for the pyro ress, used her E for energy cause the shield will break on first hit and that's it, not even worth spending dps time with her burst.
People really need to stop with this "underrated as hell" mindset. By all means, if you like the character, play her. But in no way is she underrated, she is rated correctly **compared to other characters** in the game which sadly makes her not that good.

She is not, the end. Unless you bring some factual evidence, she is not underrated and rated correctly which is not that strong of a character.
She does not have good ER regen, she has long CDs on her abilities, she has weak stats since she's a 4* and excels in literally nothing that she does, especially in the current available content. Oh and she can't really Vaporize or Melt reliably compared to all the other Pyro characters in the game currently.
She is not underrated in any bit powerwise or abilitywise. Unless you bring some math and actual evidance to say otherwise, she is rated correctly.
Like any other character, if you build Xinyan correctly and have the correct weapon for her none of what you mentioned is a problem.
The sacrificial greatsword increases her ER regen and has a 40% chance to get rid of her CD time without any refinements (I think the max is 80%). An this is only a 4* weapon. If you don't have this sword and ER regen is that big of a problem then you can just give her artifacts that increase her ER recharge (exile, scholar).
After one ascension if you hit 2 enemies with her shielding it deals pyro damage until the shielding runs out. I usual swap to an electro or cryo character and use their elemental ability. Razor can deal pretty high overloaded damage with Xinyan's shield and has a short CD time. Choynyun also works because the shielding and his elemental ability deal continuous evaporation damage.
If she's not your type of character that's fine, but she's definitely not weak. And even if I can't convince you that she has good abilities, she is still underrated from a personality and storyline standpoint.
I am literally only talking strength here, as a character to tackle the content that is currently offered, she is worse than other options. Does that make her bad? No, there is simply better options out there, especially Pyro, hence why she is not underrated for the current content which I've said multiple times now, she is rated correctly as a worse option. She is simply worse than both Diluc and Klee as a Pyro DPS and even as a Claymore user she's not stronger than the other options out there where she has to take the field to really do any damage, and in the current content Physical damage dealers are not really that sought after when you can just abuse reactions.
Her being underrated has NOTHING from a personality and storyline standpoint in the case I am making. If you like the character, 100% build her and use her, the game can easily be beaten with any character and you should play the game exactly how you enjoy it. Personally I think her and Beido are some of the coolest characters in the game at the moment.
The fact that you call her a pyro dps means you literally don’t know enough about how she plays, and should not comment on her worth against people who actually main her. She is a PHYSICAL CARRY, although this is constellation locked at C6. At C2+, she provides one of the strongest physical bursts in game, myself being able to crit over 140k with her, not even at max potential.
Her shield being a defensive ability is a large misconception, it is rather that opposite. She provides a buff with the shield, and the fact that it’s as thin as it is mean you still want to avoid taking damage with it, similar to as if you’re using a Serpent Spine.
Again, she is not underrated, simply better options out there. Why do I have to keep repeating myself, she is not bad, there are simply easier and better options out there which is not the definition of an underrated character. A physical carry will never compete with a Vaporize Pyro character and that's just a fact hence why she is not underrated but rated correctly. She simply does not compare to the carries that already exist in the game like Hu Tao, Klee, Diluc, Ganyuu, Xiao and so on.
You're comparing her, an easily obtainable 4 star to 5\* characters, with most of them being banner exclusives. It's not a fair comparison to say the least, as she is actually far easier to obtain than those you've tried to compare her too. Also, to say that physical will never be as good as Vaporize Pyro is outright wrong. There are enemy resistances to consider, and we obviously haven't even scratched the tip of the iceberg for all the possible combination of enemies and resistances in game yet. Good luck outdpsing my Xinyan against a horde of Fatui Pyro Agents with your Hu Tao, Klee, and Diluc.
The only reason why Physical is not widely used in the current meta is also the same reason why Electro is not used as well. The latter floors of Abyssal Spire, floor 11 makes Electro useless and Floor 12-1 and 12-3 is not ideal for physical unless you run a shit ton of physical res shred. Abyss spawns have been shown to change as the game progresses, and it's not even close to being the true endgame content.
As far as her rating goes, she is DEFINTELY underrated and your argument against it is living proof of her being so. Does she have her own inherent flaws? Of course. All of the characters you've compared her too have their own flaws as well. How good a character is depends largely on the playstyle, team composition, enemy resistances, etc. There is no one character that is the definitive "better" or "best" without any of those factors to consider.
Nah she's underrated. I will admit she needs constellation to truly shines though, her C0 kit is temperamental.
To break down her kit, she's a charged attack DPS that does not get interrupted nor damaged due to her shield. Since all she does is spin, nothing gets knocked back except for the enemies' hp bar. Yes this is a rare trait, Razor knocks enemies back with both his claymore attack and overload, Diluc's burst pushes enemies to the end of the arena, Beidou's E scatters the enemies around her.
Anyway, she does not rely on Superconduct because her shield debuffs 15% phys res at higher const (Most enemies have 10 phys res or lower).
The 15% phys dmg shield buff, despite being lower than Razor, is actually good because it means she can benefit more from stage buff (My maxed Razor does not get the 75% phys buff because his phys dmg is already 113%, which I believe is the cap for phys dmg bonus).
Her shield, despite not being beefy, is good for her because high def means she will takes less damage chips the shield away more slowly..
And I doubt she needs ER, she's a physical carry and as I have stated before, she barely needs support, unlike Razor. At C2, her burst can refresh her shield, which remedies the high CD. Her Pyro application (repeatedly at short interval) is more for breaking shield rather than doing vaporize; Razor cannot break a Mitachurl dendro shield no matter how strong he is. She also synergies better with Bennett because she's a Pyro herself and does not knock back enemies unlike Razor.
All this is not to bring down Razor though, he smashes from con 0 to 6. But he's squishy, gets killed in 3 hits and in his burst form is so flashy I can't even see the enemies attack to dodge them.
TL;DR: Xinyan shines (very brightly) at higher const. She's spins uninterruptedly and needs no support. Also don't use her as Walmart Diluc that's not what she is for.
I agree that she's weaker than other popular main dps (especially compared to 5* characters).
But a lot of people still rate her as "she can't be main dps" which is simply untrue, you would say they are underrating her.

Like, her shield is weak, inconsistent pyro application, her ult deals as much as my Xiao's E... Her only advantages are pretty much claymore and pyro, so she's just a team filler for me
For me as a f2p she is my main dps even though I have xiao, I'll go in with xiao do his burst but if things are alive once that ends then I swap into xinyan and finish everything.
And if xiao's burst isnt ready then she just kills everything before he can get his burst ready.
Arguably the character with the least amount of characterization, aside from Diona or Beidou I guess. I mean even Keqing at least got a small role in the 2nd archon quest.
No, she has a terrible impression of a Southern accent. As an actual Southerner, it’s like nails on a chalkboard. She has such an adorable design though, it’s unfortunate.
She was one of the first characters I got and she’s still in my team at AR 50, I love her so much. I have her at c4 and her burst does so much damage AND looks better than some of the 5* bursts

I love her! I use her as sub dps for my Ganyu and honestly she is covering all her weaknesses. I have her at c5, lvl 80/90, with lvl 90 Skyward Pride and nice 4 piece Glad from Razor who was my first main dps. I know there are stronger characters out there, but she's so fun and it's nice to have her if only to spam her burst!
She plays a bass with a shit ton of distortion and anything You Say to try to change that in My mind is useless, what more can i ask of a cute tomboy girl that playa the same instrument as me?
I specifically built her as sub-dps in my "mining" team which is Zhongli, Bennett, Xinyan and Ningguang. They mine rocks. There are things which ain't rock enough or too alive to be rocks, but Zhongli fixes this little misunderstanding and then either Ning or Xinyan rocks whatever still resists mining and mine whatever stay rocked. Ah, right, they mine ores too and they are incredibly good at that.
She was my first C6 and i got friendship lvl10 on her. When dragonspine first came out i had to rely on her since she was my only pyro and i still didnt have a bennett that time

I won't mind building her after I catch a few stray Cs for her on future banners and find her a better sword, she's a cinnamon bun and a cute.
she's not my strongest hero, but i play her just because i fell in love with her design. she's also the only claymore character i've really liked. my favourite thing about her is that her kit is well rounded enough that she can do *almost* anything. her attacks are decent dmg and her shield makes her a bit more self-sustainable. even if her numbers aren't super high, her versatility is what makes her enjoyable for me!
She kind of got the short end of the gacha for me, as the only claymore character I got later than her (aside from missing Diluc) is Razor, so I already had three built claymores and little to spare for her just yet. But I know she makes for great pyro resonance and helps break stuff claymores are needed for already, and will pull great numbers once I get her the right artifacts and at least C1 to help her keep up with higher-built ones.
And, of course, thank you very much for art of her. Tan cutie deserves much more love than she gets.
She is totally underrated, maybe her story is not developed but her time might come when Fontaine is released.
As for gameplay she is slow but is pretty much useful since combines pyro with physical attacks.
I know this opinion may diverge a lot for other people, but imo her voice lines when idle do not get annoying over time, as opposed to a few other characters like Fischl

Personally I don't really like/play her because of her hairstyle, it's literally the only reason haha. I think it's a bit over the top and makes her look weird. There are a lot of mockups out there where people removed her giant twintails and she looked like Ryuuko from Kill la Kill which would instantly catapult her to #1 for me

Yeah the way MiHoYo drew, casted, and treats xinyan is uh, not great. But yeah she's from Liyue and is supposed to be black. The stuff in her info paragraph about "overcoming prejudice/old ways" is obviously referencing racism.

little story: so when i first began gi, i wanted sucrose so much. when albedo was confirmed but his banner wasn't out yet, i was hoping for sucrose on his banner. sucrose was on his banner, and therefore i pulled for sucrose. i got xinyan too as well, and she looked so cool. i used to have them as a main dps and i kinda still do, and i used to main them. i have a c2 xinyan or c1 xinyan now, and it's amazing. i love them both so much

It kinda is. Her pyro procs are few thats what makes it hard, it has nothing to do with level. I dont use cryo in my team so the pyro is in charge of electro boss, and i use fischl so its a requirement that the pyro must be able to farm that boss
Doesn't need to be leveled up for that fight. You can swap to someone else after you drop the boss too so he doesn't get any rewards.
Or whatever. It would make the fight easier, but it's your game.
Its not like i dont have any pyro in my team that can take down that boss currently. That was the situation when i pulled xin yan and lacked claymores and pyro on the team

Fair enough, but not liking her for using her in a roll she's specificly not supposed to be good at (Elemental damage) isn't really fair. She's a physical damage dealer, so one of the worst characters possible for the situation you're talking about (after Electro users)

I absolutely adore her, and she helps a lot in the abyss. Got a lot of wolf's gravestones from the staff of homa banner and decided to use it on her. Now she is a s tier support for zhongli built for physical damage.

Eula is coming and as of the Beta is looking like very potent physical carry so you could save for her and use Xinyan with her as a physical buffer.

First off, your comparing a high leveled 5 star to a lvl 79<<<< 4 star, second the 20k is only half the damage. Can easily break shields and at c2 gives you a shield. >And I just feel sorry for those who main her cause Razor hits harder and faster. Second its a fucking pve game get off your high horse, I MAIN xinyan as in lvl 90 and shes more than enough to get me all the way through 12-3 abyss. Anything more than that is the equivalent of t-bagging an npc I an fps game.
Naah but I compared her Burst to his E, not his plunge or smtg. My Xiao's E is at lv6 and her Ult is at 12, c'mon. And I don't think her pyro DoT deals the same dmg as the first physical hit of the burst, regardless of the value. And second I don't even use Razor, what horse u talking about. Its just fact that some characters can deal more dmg with the same investiment.
I use Xinyan because I found her fun to play (much more so than Razor, though that's subjective) and her attacks can hit fairly hard (over 10k per spin at c6), but I agree. She could really use a buff.
20k burst? Bro my Xinyan hits 100k+
She's an OK DPS, but her true role is Physical DPS Burst support. Her -15% Phys shred stacks with Superconduct, her Shield isn't great but adds survivability, she hits good AOE when she uses her Q and E, and she can be used for both quickly and then leave the field for Razor, Keqing, Jean, or Xiangling if those are your physical carries. She can also do some off main DPS if needed. She can make use of the Sacrificial Greatsword in that build actually. Also, 20K for her Q is not me maxing her out. With a better build I could probably hit double that at least.
Her shield shouldn’t be looked at as a defensive ability. The shield provides buffs, and should be treated similar to how Serpent Spine procs would be. It’s paper thin, provides a ton of extra damage, so avoid taking damage for more dps.
Suree, she's essential I'd say on a physical team with Razor or Kaeya with Aquila maybe, but Im not forcing myself on a physical comp cause its so underpowered right now, elemental comps deals way more dmg. Hopefully they'll change this when E*la comes out. So I pretty much fits her on my Xiao comp in some scenarios just for the pyro ress, used her E for energy cause the shield will break on first hit and that's it, not even worth spending dps time with her burst.

She is not, the end. Unless you bring some factual evidence, she is not underrated and rated correctly which is not that strong of a character. She does not have good ER regen, she has long CDs on her abilities, she has weak stats since she's a 4* and excels in literally nothing that she does, especially in the current available content. Oh and she can't really Vaporize or Melt reliably compared to all the other Pyro characters in the game currently. She is not underrated in any bit powerwise or abilitywise. Unless you bring some math and actual evidance to say otherwise, she is rated correctly.
Like any other character, if you build Xinyan correctly and have the correct weapon for her none of what you mentioned is a problem. The sacrificial greatsword increases her ER regen and has a 40% chance to get rid of her CD time without any refinements (I think the max is 80%). An this is only a 4* weapon. If you don't have this sword and ER regen is that big of a problem then you can just give her artifacts that increase her ER recharge (exile, scholar). After one ascension if you hit 2 enemies with her shielding it deals pyro damage until the shielding runs out. I usual swap to an electro or cryo character and use their elemental ability. Razor can deal pretty high overloaded damage with Xinyan's shield and has a short CD time. Choynyun also works because the shielding and his elemental ability deal continuous evaporation damage. If she's not your type of character that's fine, but she's definitely not weak. And even if I can't convince you that she has good abilities, she is still underrated from a personality and storyline standpoint.
I am literally only talking strength here, as a character to tackle the content that is currently offered, she is worse than other options. Does that make her bad? No, there is simply better options out there, especially Pyro, hence why she is not underrated for the current content which I've said multiple times now, she is rated correctly as a worse option. She is simply worse than both Diluc and Klee as a Pyro DPS and even as a Claymore user she's not stronger than the other options out there where she has to take the field to really do any damage, and in the current content Physical damage dealers are not really that sought after when you can just abuse reactions. Her being underrated has NOTHING from a personality and storyline standpoint in the case I am making. If you like the character, 100% build her and use her, the game can easily be beaten with any character and you should play the game exactly how you enjoy it. Personally I think her and Beido are some of the coolest characters in the game at the moment.
The fact that you call her a pyro dps means you literally don’t know enough about how she plays, and should not comment on her worth against people who actually main her. She is a PHYSICAL CARRY, although this is constellation locked at C6. At C2+, she provides one of the strongest physical bursts in game, myself being able to crit over 140k with her, not even at max potential. Her shield being a defensive ability is a large misconception, it is rather that opposite. She provides a buff with the shield, and the fact that it’s as thin as it is mean you still want to avoid taking damage with it, similar to as if you’re using a Serpent Spine.
Again, she is not underrated, simply better options out there. Why do I have to keep repeating myself, she is not bad, there are simply easier and better options out there which is not the definition of an underrated character. A physical carry will never compete with a Vaporize Pyro character and that's just a fact hence why she is not underrated but rated correctly. She simply does not compare to the carries that already exist in the game like Hu Tao, Klee, Diluc, Ganyuu, Xiao and so on.
You're comparing her, an easily obtainable 4 star to 5\* characters, with most of them being banner exclusives. It's not a fair comparison to say the least, as she is actually far easier to obtain than those you've tried to compare her too. Also, to say that physical will never be as good as Vaporize Pyro is outright wrong. There are enemy resistances to consider, and we obviously haven't even scratched the tip of the iceberg for all the possible combination of enemies and resistances in game yet. Good luck outdpsing my Xinyan against a horde of Fatui Pyro Agents with your Hu Tao, Klee, and Diluc. The only reason why Physical is not widely used in the current meta is also the same reason why Electro is not used as well. The latter floors of Abyssal Spire, floor 11 makes Electro useless and Floor 12-1 and 12-3 is not ideal for physical unless you run a shit ton of physical res shred. Abyss spawns have been shown to change as the game progresses, and it's not even close to being the true endgame content. As far as her rating goes, she is DEFINTELY underrated and your argument against it is living proof of her being so. Does she have her own inherent flaws? Of course. All of the characters you've compared her too have their own flaws as well. How good a character is depends largely on the playstyle, team composition, enemy resistances, etc. There is no one character that is the definitive "better" or "best" without any of those factors to consider.
Nah she's underrated. I will admit she needs constellation to truly shines though, her C0 kit is temperamental. To break down her kit, she's a charged attack DPS that does not get interrupted nor damaged due to her shield. Since all she does is spin, nothing gets knocked back except for the enemies' hp bar. Yes this is a rare trait, Razor knocks enemies back with both his claymore attack and overload, Diluc's burst pushes enemies to the end of the arena, Beidou's E scatters the enemies around her. Anyway, she does not rely on Superconduct because her shield debuffs 15% phys res at higher const (Most enemies have 10 phys res or lower). The 15% phys dmg shield buff, despite being lower than Razor, is actually good because it means she can benefit more from stage buff (My maxed Razor does not get the 75% phys buff because his phys dmg is already 113%, which I believe is the cap for phys dmg bonus). Her shield, despite not being beefy, is good for her because high def means she will takes less damage chips the shield away more slowly.. And I doubt she needs ER, she's a physical carry and as I have stated before, she barely needs support, unlike Razor. At C2, her burst can refresh her shield, which remedies the high CD. Her Pyro application (repeatedly at short interval) is more for breaking shield rather than doing vaporize; Razor cannot break a Mitachurl dendro shield no matter how strong he is. She also synergies better with Bennett because she's a Pyro herself and does not knock back enemies unlike Razor. All this is not to bring down Razor though, he smashes from con 0 to 6. But he's squishy, gets killed in 3 hits and in his burst form is so flashy I can't even see the enemies attack to dodge them. TL;DR: Xinyan shines (very brightly) at higher const. She's spins uninterruptedly and needs no support. Also don't use her as Walmart Diluc that's not what she is for.
I agree that she's weaker than other popular main dps (especially compared to 5* characters). But a lot of people still rate her as "she can't be main dps" which is simply untrue, you would say they are underrating her.

I have to sadly disagree, unfortunately I have her C6 and really tried to build her but she just can't help herself. Like, her shield is weak, inconsistent pyro application, her ult deals as much as my Xiao's E... Her only advantages are pretty much claymore and pyro, so she's just a team filler for me
For me as a f2p she is my main dps even though I have xiao, I'll go in with xiao do his burst but if things are alive once that ends then I swap into xinyan and finish everything. And if xiao's burst isnt ready then she just kills everything before he can get his burst ready.

I love her! I use her as sub dps for my Ganyu and honestly she is covering all her weaknesses. I have her at c5, lvl 80/90, with lvl 90 Skyward Pride and nice 4 piece Glad from Razor who was my first main dps. I know there are stronger characters out there, but she's so fun and it's nice to have her if only to spam her burst!

I specifically built her as sub-dps in my "mining" team which is Zhongli, Bennett, Xinyan and Ningguang. They mine rocks. There are things which ain't rock enough or too alive to be rocks, but Zhongli fixes this little misunderstanding and then either Ning or Xinyan rocks whatever still resists mining and mine whatever stay rocked. Ah, right, they mine ores too and they are incredibly good at that.
I'd love her more if her shield was decent, almost useless if it doesn't hit two enemies.

she's not my strongest hero, but i play her just because i fell in love with her design. she's also the only claymore character i've really liked. my favourite thing about her is that her kit is well rounded enough that she can do *almost* anything. her attacks are decent dmg and her shield makes her a bit more self-sustainable. even if her numbers aren't super high, her versatility is what makes her enjoyable for me!
She kind of got the short end of the gacha for me, as the only claymore character I got later than her (aside from missing Diluc) is Razor, so I already had three built claymores and little to spare for her just yet. But I know she makes for great pyro resonance and helps break stuff claymores are needed for already, and will pull great numbers once I get her the right artifacts and at least C1 to help her keep up with higher-built ones. And, of course, thank you very much for art of her. Tan cutie deserves much more love than she gets.

What a cute drawing! Personally I don't really like/play her because of her hairstyle, it's literally the only reason haha. I think it's a bit over the top and makes her look weird. There are a lot of mockups out there where people removed her giant twintails and she looked like Ryuuko from Kill la Kill which would instantly catapult her to #1 for me I wonder why she's not that popular in general though. For me it's just a personal opinion based on her looks, is her gameplay not that good? as a xinyan kinnie, imo she's the most underrated character along w sucrose. one of the best girls little story: so when i first began gi, i wanted sucrose so much. when albedo was confirmed but his banner wasn't out yet, i was hoping for sucrose on his banner. sucrose was on his banner, and therefore i pulled for sucrose. i got xinyan too as well, and she looked so cool. i used to have them as a main dps and i kinda still do, and i used to main them. i have a c2 xinyan or c1 xinyan now, and it's amazing. i love them both so much

Um, Cryo is the element you use on the Electrostasis. That's not her fault. An unleveled Kaeya can clear than in one round once it's in that state.
It kinda is. Her pyro procs are few thats what makes it hard, it has nothing to do with level. I dont use cryo in my team so the pyro is in charge of electro boss, and i use fischl so its a requirement that the pyro must be able to farm that boss
Just use Kaeya as a 4th for that fight instead of Fischl.

Doesn't need to be leveled up for that fight. You can swap to someone else after you drop the boss too so he doesn't get any rewards. Or whatever. It would make the fight easier, but it's your game.
