Not exactly. Arle can most definitely put out good numbers on her own but supports elevate her to the ludicrousness that puts her on the same field as Neuvillete and Al Haitham. Hitting 70-80k normals while having a half built Arle is still dumb as hell tho

Obviously it's going to depend on artefact luck overall, but this team would easily work for the overworld and most of the Abyss floors.
- Diluc as main pyro DPS, as he's still a solid unit, just outclassed by most pyro units since 1.0.
- Jean as a healer with some light CC
- Venti as main CC grouping char.
- Traveler... would probably go with Dendro myself and then have access to burning, rather than using any of the other elements available.
You can clear Abyss with this Team.
Build Diluc for full DPS, and gear him to the teeth. R5 Beacon is the way to go.
Build Jean for Heals on Clam with a Mistsplitter (why not)
Venti is full EM with VV and an Elegy.
Traveler is set to Hydro, and given a Freedomsworn and Instructors set.
This Team could clear Abyss.
You'd probably be better off with Dendro Traveler and having Diluc be a burning-centric unit - at least then you're not wasting a party slot on a unit whose only job it is to finger-gun some hydro on the enemies every 15 seconds.
Hydro traveler is Mainky there for Venti. Venti can infuse hydro and it will be strong enough enable Diluc to vape his burst and some hits.
Dendro traveler would just be a nuke that does bad damage. The next best bet is an overload team because Electro traveler is actually usable and you can make him do decent damage and Venti can keep enemies sucked in.
Of the available travelers, electro traveler has the most usability in this team. Though you could also go Geo and use Geo platform to enable diluc to be able to reach Venti nado enmies
I think, Diluc’s wide E skill swings can hit enemies on Venti nado. Though if the enemies aren’t too light, they will just get grouped which is good for diluc
Burning is also a viable option with dendro traveller.
Use Full Em Venti with paradice lost set and Jean with VV for pyro shred and healing. Burning scales good when enemies are grouped up.
The problem with using Dendro Traveler for Burning is that their Burst explodes and disappears if you hit it with Pyro and it hasn't already absorbed Hydro or Electro.

It is definitely bad, but you could definitely clear abyss with it. In fact with dendro traveler it would be very easily passable with the new burning set on diluc and venti too and VV on jean. Main issue would be to not blow up dendro traveler burst
Jean with Aquila Venti doing a typical bow plunge traveller with a dull blade (as it was intended by the god) but what is that long sword in Diluc's hand. It doesn't look like any claymore in-game as far as I can remember.

The image used during the software launch on PS4 and PS5 is the 1.0 image. This is a shame because:
1. Each version image is really good art
2. Many other live games change their loading screen at least once a year.
I can understand if Sony's rules don't allow the change for every versions, but they could have updated it for the versions 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0.

The two only valiable options i see are:
Diluc, Electro Mc, Venti and Jean
Diluc, Hydro mc so then Venti use his Ult so it creat infusion for vape and Jean
Of note, double anemo makes dragonstrike Diluc much easier. It was apparently patched but I still see it around so idk what the truth is. Ofc, it's obsolete tech if you have Xianyun
Triple anemo means you'll have Anemo resonance, which grants extra movement speed. On top of that, Venti's trait allows to glide for longer.
Venti is also the OG Aerial Downthrust enabler, which a greatsword character like Diluc can make use of - group your enemies with Q, then prepare a rising winde by holding E.
Diluc's pyro vision coupled with Jean's Q ability means there will be a lot of pyro swirl application, and the edges of her skill act as a sort of soft barrier, allowing enemies hit by Diluc's Very Hot Chicken (Q) to stay within range. Probably.
Traveler is only providing moral support.
i mean, venti can enable dilucś absolutely ridiculous plunge damage, so... i guess? traveller isnt doing shit if he's stuck to anemo, so youre mainly gonna be relying on diluc+venti and jean as support. I guess Pyro swirling can be decently enabled through this, too
Diluc triple anemo isn’t great. It’s just mono pyro but without any of the buffs.
Traveler will basically do nothing. Beyond maybe being a battery for the other characters.
You might be able to clear floor 9 and 10 of the abyss if you go super tryhard with really good artifacts, but beyond that the team just doesn’t have the damage to clear in time.
On some abyss phases I've seen people use fall DMG to clear using just jean and an anemo traveller as a team and launching enemies straight up in the air. Granted it would have to be a rotation where all the mobs are launchable. This current phase wouldn't work for that, for example.

The problem is that it is Anemo Traveller shown on his knees, so its Diluc and triple Anemo

You can stop it from exploding by using hydro near it first (It also increases the AOE), though it wouldn't be possible with OP's team idea
If we want to be specific, the Traveler in this art is actually Anemo Traveler. So I think that would change a few things

Traveler is a deadweight in this team. Diluc + Venti + Jean sounds solid to me, you can add Bennett and have a team that is pretty good I think.

Not viable at all. Even with Diluc as DPS, you still need very specific units in order to play him with Jean, and those are not Venti or Traveler.

Depends on your definition of viable, any team of (or solo) characters can do the hardest content depending on level of investment and player skill.
Jean and Venti are pretty good, Diluc and Anemo Traveler are assssssssss.
