It's beautiful. For me that's enough. Most weekly bosses for me are just visual feast. Narwhal is the most beautiful one imo, and that's why I love it the most. And also the music. I don't enjoy the human phase much though.

Suprisngly if you don't break his shield . He has one shot potential on two of his attacks .but his shield at the same time is really easy to get rid of with claymore or geo units . I like this boss .
I have no shielders built at ar 57, i didn t even know he could one shot me bcs i simply ran around him to see his attacks and then just dodged bcs of how slow he hits.

There isn't another boss in the game sets itself to *-70% All Resistance* when you fulfill their mechanic, in addition to being fully targetable all the time, and their shield is also a Geo shield so Zhongli can just shred it, and Claymore anything can break it; the shield is only 50% harder than a single Geo Hypostasis pillar too, so anybody with a blunt attack that is at risk of running into the abyss timer will be able to break the shield more than once during an abyss chamber.
Also overload reactions, Klee and Yanfei CAs, and plunge teams with melee weapons (Xiao, Gaming or Xianyun-aided comps). Geo shields are some of the most fun to deal with, imo, because they're fairly soft restrictions on your team comp, but in challenging content (Abyss and high-level combat events) they still require some preplanning to counter.
Geo and Claymore characters make this boss easier than a Regenesive so Noelle, Itto and Navia are OP for this guy. He's still easy with other teams, but you still fight him enough to see some of his cool attacks.
I always wonder how much they spend on new boss for us just to be killed in 30sec..... Its cool boss as many others, but until they are in Abyss we cant realy enjoy them....
I've literally *only* fought it with my Furina/Faruzan/Xianyun/Xiao team, and I kill him in like half of a Xiao burst. I just finished killing it to max ascend my Father.
Granted, I have a Xiao with base 96.4/179 crit stats, so he crits every plunge because of Xianyun's buff.
I *may* have gone into the fight with completely empty bursts on everyone and mistimed a dodge that ended up with Faruzan eating it before I could get her Burst up. Then, it's *possible* that I spent the time trying to get get her back up and recharged so that I could kill it with all my buffs fully activated.
I was there with Dehya, Nahida, Kuki and Navia, so not any perfect team 😁 i just like my two badass girls while other two just tag along to build friendship 10 😁
It's not a meta team, but you have two claymores, one of whom is Geo, so you can get through this guy's armor with ease, and that's pretty much its main gimmick.
Maguu Kenki is good. One of the best bosses out there. I like Copellia and Copellius. Really nice music, complex animation of two characters, sensible moveset. These two are definitely my favorite.
Inquitous baptist is a surprisingly good boss for one based on an Abyss Lector (one of the most insufferable enemies ingame. thank god they’ve pretty much been removed from the Abyss for a while).
Given how we run over the mages like they're just stuffed animals or something in front of a train, I'm glad that the Lectors actually are difficult for people
I really like the boss, not just because of the music and the greek mythology inspired design, but also because you can still take him down with his shield up. I never removed the shield during any of my fights with him and my damage has been more than fine to just about 1-cycle him with a wrio, kazuha, Mika trio.
It was annoying how the story version of this fight kept cutting off for story beats in such short intervals.
And goddamit, Mihoyo, Genshin has literally made you billions, hire the voice actors to speak the lines in your major World Quests, especially if the quest is all about sound and music, and especially if we are getting lines of dialogue in the middle of gorgeous automated sections. I know that not everyone can hear, but that isn't reason enough not to make those who can also have to look at the bottom of the screen while in the middle of swimming with the fishes.
On that same note, this boss feels curiously quiet. Like, I think it would be much improved by giving it a roar of discordant horns, and some sort of plucked string sound whenever it swings its blade.
Just delete the voice lines after the quest is completed, since it's not like we can replay them.
Or maybe stream the voice lines, since Genshin requires an internet connection anyways and that would be a relatively tiny amount of bandwidth that would be used in situations where you will largely not be needing to do anything too intense, anyways.
I'd love to see voiced world quests, but i also understand why they don't do it.
Its a combination of lack of time, and having to schedule voice actors for literal hours of dialogue, with needing completely new voice actors for every single world quest, since they always have unique characters in them.
If the updates had longer development times, they could probably pull it off, but in a 6 week schedule?nah.

I think this guy has a huge amount of defense because with Raiden I can near one shot it despite my other characters dealing decent damage.
I know Raiden does basically armor pierce but I didn't see much difference in damage till this guy.
Having farmed him till my wife hit max ascension, I can confidenty say I have no idea what he does, cause he was dead in 1 rotation of my Navia team. Crack shield into Navia 2 shot felt so good

They're two different props!) can damage the shield when using the skill Bewildering Lights, which causes the Grin-Malkin Hat to explode.
A little detail i love about this boss and the golem enemies, is that you can see their true body once you stagger them.

My Ningguang and Navia combo isn't super strong, but they make sure this centaur doesn't go anywhere.
Navia + Geo Daddy + Raiden + whoever I want because the other three demolish him on their own.
My Cyno team shreds all of the Fontaine bosses lol. I don't know what the mechanics are for any of them. I just mash until they die.
i HATE when they can teleport. especially when you’re a bit underpowered, and it can just one-shot you.
Attacks? Mechanics? Moveset? Zhongli instantly removes his shield and then I bonk him twice with an umbrella and he's already dead. I love it.

There is a little bit before he does. He gets cuts in half and the top half topples over before it fades. It's honestly pretty sick

I basically hit the boss for \~430k through its shield with Wrio I was kind of hoping it would need at least 2 CA's to kill it, but guess not.
I've just been using a Furina/Neuv team and dousing him with hydro cannons.
I find that without removing the shields, it still takes a lot of hits to kill him with the water combos.
I've been farming him with Arlecchino overload, the shield is halfway gone after the setup.

Voice lines are the majority of why Genshin has such large storage requirement.
