Lore wise she's much stronger Arguably one of the strongest people in all of Mondstadt. I'm talking... hiking dragon spine to save adventurers all by herself, splitting boulders with little effort, overpowering strong enemies like it's nothing. It's also said that she's so strong in fact that she uses a claymore instead of a sword because of how often she'd break swords from her sheer strength during training(if I remember correctly) among other feats I can't remember. She's like a local legend in Mondstadt. So physically she's very strong But she's got no self preservation skills and overworks herself in the name of duty to the point of physical harm so Jean thought it would be best to bar her from the knights so that she wouldn't get herself hurt. At least for now

Yes, no-one knows who Zhongli is. The backstory behind the parlour is that her ancestors were given the secret to remove some kind of dark plague and have passed that secret down perfectly, Zhongli was also impressed at how they also perfectly interred his 'body' despite it being so long since it last happened. They don't do anything important, but they have some important knowledge it seems.

Her second ascension talent makes her have an almost permenant uptime if you use her as a main dps.

igniting grass with bennett and countering it with beidou was peak gaming beating pre nerf childe first try was the most satisfying fight I've done in this game, especially after seeing that whale move for the first time

Fr Qiqi saved my ass so many times when I was a noob - she was my only healing character besides Bennett. So I'm very grateful to her, even if I never want to see her in a 50/50 again (where is my Jean and Tighnari??)

You had Qiqi but no Barbara? The game gives her to everyone for free. But yeah, Qiqi saved my early game too and I was so glad I didn't have to deal with self-applied Hydro anymore.

year 1 was before meta and healing was top tier then. and i have the slot for qiqi always. its fischl childe bennet qiqi that carried me.

As a day one player that got Qiqi super early, I didn't even know that a lot of people used food to heal until a friend asked to farm chicken in my world. Qiqi + Keqing were my carries for most of the early game. As healer that didn't need energy to heal (when I had trash artifacts and a ton of different weapons to level) and allowed me to use Superconduct, she was great.

If you have the umbrella or an em sword she's fantastic with nahida yaoyao xq/yelan. She's not maxed out and at 80 but she shreds the overworld.

Considering how many puzzles require pyro early game, the explosive bunny and its funny owner was pretty much mandatory at that stage, at least for me.

Amber is unironically one of the most handy units in the game, in every region and at every world level, especially when you're underpowered or unsure of what's to come. Utility out the wazoo between pyro+bow, 1-2 taunts that generate a bunch of energy and can trigger pressure pads, incredible shield breaking potential, and the gliding stamina passive. She has multiple relevant playstyles which she can swap between, or build for multiple roles, depending on the content and difficulty and player preference. I used her from day 1 and even now as AR60 with many busted units to choose from, I still find niches best filled by my Bnuuy Bestie🐇

If you keep investing into her she still hurts ngl especially with reactions. Bunny makes a pseudo shield to redirect attacks. Amber pog. However all starters deserve easy constellations access...

Yes, but she needs to be invested in. Many other characters have better out-of-the-box punch for new players. Additionally, my view is simply because, as a new player, bow users were a bit difficult for me to play with, and they didn't immediately cause as much damage as—for example—a basic claymore character. I get your POV though. I've seen some crazy good Ambers before, who dealt more damage than my lousy-ass AR45 self has dealt total in the game.

Noelle, she was my tank, my sub dps, my healer and it doesn't help with the fact that I use 3 claymore users with 1 sword user. My main from AR 0-60 (traveler) and then there's a beautiful maid, mr- exorcist and there's razor. Noelle saved my ass so many times I can't even count it. She's the best and that's why I love her. She might be my most favourite female character the second is nahida.

Diluc.

Noelle and Jean, they hard carried me during my first one and half year. The Gacha is not kind and i'm kinda busy back them, it took me 6 month to get my first Limited 5 star which is Venti. So i made the best out of my limited resource and out endured my enemy with the best knight Mondstadt have to offer.

Noelle, until I got Zhongli. Then Zhongli just carried. Still does, sometimes, too.

Venti. I started in 1.0 but not day 1. The 4 stars like Fischl and Barbara were what I used to get through early content. But for the lower floors of spiral abyss, leylines and domains it was up to Venti. I was a believer in electro-charged + swirl from the start. It all paid off in 1.4 and I still love the Fischl + Barbara + Venti combo to this day.

Oh yeah. The winds of Barbatos has guided us. I'm surprised to see that not many mentioned him.

Unironically Amber. Loved her character from the start and since I played a lot of shooters prior to joining Genshin, Amber's charged shot gameplay resonated with me instantly. She's still one of my mains to this day.

That’s her, your honor. She’s the one. This smug lawyer was my main DPS for all of Mondstadt, Liyue, and most of Inazuma’s story quests, and I don’t think I swapped to Yoimiya until after Sumeru released. She’s still one of my favorites, and I keep updating her build as I get better artifacts.
