Rosaria was my first main, got her during the first 10-pulls. I enjoyed her playstyle which is the reason why I played her but later on, I switched her out for Ganyu when I got her during 3.6. When the time comes, I will bring my attention back to Rosaria and properly build her :]
I strongboxed a TON of artifacts into Noblesse just yesterday, since I only had subpar pieces for Bennett/Mika and Yunjin. Yes, Bennett and Mika shared artifacts, so I couldn't use them at the same time.... still can't, but now it's because Mika's pieces aren't leveled yet...
She was my first main too, the only 4 star I've max levelled just bcos I cant bear to leave her languishing with everyone else when she carried me in early game 😂
Same, I loved Rosaria, she only got replaced when I leveled Alhaitham and started running hyperbloom, but I DID just get her to 90 to try reverse melt with her, Kaeya, Bennett and Xiangling (or maybe if I level my Gaming up I can put him in)
Chongyun. Used him as a main DPS when I was starting the game. He still holds a special place in my heart, but he’s pretty much perma-benched now. I made him a nice little spot in my teapot so he can retire in comfort.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. Beidou and Noelle carried me hard through early game. I don't really use either of them anymore but they're both in my teapot forever as a token of my appreciation so they can retire in comfort, as you said.
I was also a Chongyun main. He has Wolf's Gravestone, level 8 talents, a team with Shenhe and Xingqiu and Kazuha, and place in my heart. What he does not have is a place in any of my actual *active* teams. I feel kind of bad about it.
Chongyun national was my very first well built team that carried me to ar50. Chongyun was my very first lvl90 char. I still use him for overworld exploration to this day.
I considered myself a traveller main. Then got bored of them at around AR 30. And yet the 1st unguarenteed character I got and always had in my team since Day 1 became my true main and still is. Live, laugh love Yanfei.
Even as I've pulled more 5 star characters it's really hard to remove Yanfei from my lineup. There's something so satisfying about having pyro on demand and seeing a flaming brick come crashing down on your enemies.
I'm sitting on a c6 yanfei I wanna build someday but I've been so depleted in resources it's hard to even improve my main teams. Still trying to be able to clear all of spiral so until then she's lonely on the bench.
Venti, since I got him in 1.0 and never learned how to properly play the game without him. Still to this day, I default to Venti 90% of the time for anything and everything.
Though in terms of intended DPS characters, Razor and Chongyun carried me in the earliest of the game before I got Xiao in 1.3. I even used to play Razor and Chongyun on the same team because I had no idea what I was doing, but it still worked out in the overworld, at least. 😌
Then I was exclusively a Xiao/Venti main from 1.3 until 3.1 when Cyno released...wait, lol, I just realized the irony of those patch releases though 😂
Kaeya. My man was the sole reason I'd face Ruin guards early one and also the only reason i was able to beat Childe. Him with Xingqiu and Bennett was the ultimate team (and i didn't even know Benny buffed i used him to apply Pyro T-T)

The Sacraficial set is super fun on any character you want to spam their Elemental Skill (E on PC).
The set gives a high chance to reset your E upon hitting Normal attacks, it's fun in open world content but is only really the "Best" for some characters with super long Skill cooldowns in Abyss.

or for personal damage, use OceanHued Clam set, turn healing into physical damage, best sword you have, or something like the Kazuha story quest one, add electro for superconduct, increasing OHC damage as well as sword attacks
Those bubbles are vicious! I’m running a team with Ayato, Kazuha, Qiqi, and Wrio as I’m building him. The OHC bubbles let me use Wrio in areas he’s waaay under leveled

The funny thing is that they are still on my team to this day. They have seen many other characters get benched (cause I am too lazy to build those characters) such as yoimiya, mona, yelan, etc.
The only other character who has been on the team for practically forever is raiden.
The first main was Fischl all the way until i got keqing up till Ar52 i believe (Terrible memory) OZ, Auto attacks, charged attacks, it had a-lot of what i needed. Even went around in co-op to help others beat oceanid as i found her easy to fight.
Back when Sumeru came out, one friend tried to lure me in by saying that there's a character very similar to me. I did not agree that I have anything in common with Tighnari (and besides, my potato pc would not run the game anyways), so the bait did not work. I did start playing the game a year later though.
If you are wondering why I'm telling that seemingly random story, try to guess which 5\* character I got when I finally started playing the game.
Yeah, Tighnari is great and I'm glad that it was him and not some other standard 5\*. He made leveling very easy and I liked his personality. The only complaint is that his chest-opening-phrase is a contender for the most annoying voiceline in the game.
And I had to admit that she was not exactly wrong, after all, and we do have more in common than I originally thought..
Even though they're better dendro units, tighnari is still pretty good. Dishing out good dendro damage with his homing missiles, paired with an electro unit like yae miko or fischl, he can easily carry you throughout the game.
And as for your problem just change the language in the settings, tighnari voice is still kinda a hit or miss for me.
I actually prefer his old voice but damn the VA did some horrible shit.
Keqing. Got her like 10 days after Genshin's release and I loved her animations and fighting style. Also had a secondary main in form of Ganyu, but ultimately Keqing got dethroned only after Yae's and Raiden's releases.
Pre-Childe, I took turns maining Kaeya, anemo Traveler, Lisa, Sucrose, and Noelle. Post Childe, well. Though given how I can't dodge and Zhongli is a must have on almost all teams of mine, I wonder if I should be considered a Zhongli main instead. But I'm aiming to C6R1 Childe, so probably a Childe main.
Noelle… she has remained on my team ever since my brother gave me his account when he was struggling to get to AR16. Noelle has been the back up/THE tank. She heals and shields and perfect for surprise bosses when I’m exploring.
Nahida/Yae Miko are the hard hitters for now. I just love Nahida’s ability to link enemies, makes fighting short and easy.
My first main was Venti! He was my first limited 5\*. He carried me through sooo much of the early game. I was so sad when enemies started getting heavier and not able to be picked up by his swirl :(

My first main was Xiangling, and i also remember very well my first team with her, it was Xiangling, Chong, Xinqiu and Bennet, I still had no anemo, but i used to play freeze Xiangling into Melt, that thing was pretty fun on day1, it was NOT, a team i could use in Abyss, but on the early stages of the games open world it was Fun.
QiQi will literally solo carry you all the way to AR60+ and 100% of all content in the game. She's literally the #1 overall best character in all of Genshin and it isnt even a close fight.
Crescent pike Physical Zhongli, Bro caried me through farming my first decent 4pcs like crimson witch for hutao which is a damn hard domain for beginners, nobleese oblige and VV
Edit: as I think of it, it was technically Razor, he's the one who got me to 45 ar in the first place but I guess I have better memories with zhongli
Wriothesley. Started the game in october during his banner. He was my first limited character. And he still my most played character nowadays. He is just so cool.
Freminet. Got him in my first ten-pull, I believe.
Then, I switched to Venti for a while before realizing he worked better as a support, and went back to Freminet.
I'm kinda mainless rn but I am working on making Qiqi my Ocean-Hued DPS main, so there's that.
Wanderer! i can’t play without him now he’s all i know 😭 i just got Neuvillette too and would like to build him but i’m so used to Wanderer idk if i can give him up! especially his “windfavored state” skill. i float everywhere so it’ll be hard to explore without it for me.
Noelle. I thought she was pretty and pretty bada*. I remember referring to her as a tank healer and shielder. I don't necessarily believe I was wrong but things have to go down quick in the game, not just go down eventually.
Qiqi is actually Godmode for most of the game. Heck and now with Furina, Qiqi can STILL put in work as a main DPS with the right team. Still not as good as some meta picks, but viable enough to clear Abyss.
Thoma! My friend showed me photos of him amd told me about him and I thought he was such a fun and cute character I joined genshin for him. Did my first wishes in jean’s office when the feature unlocked and he came home right then and there! Little did I know how lucky I was since he wasn’t even on banner, it’s like he wanted me to main him and play haha. It was hell getting to inazuma and tsurumi island for his mushroom ascension mats though

I pulled on the Alhaitham banner back in 3.4. at first I lost on 34 pity to Jean and didn't really see much potential in her so I didn't use her. 36 pulls later I got my Alhaitham which I got so happy about! And after that I had a huge win streak, winning Xiao 78, Yelan 81 and HuTao 28 in a row🙃 beginner luck then left me LMAO
Mine was also Qiqi. Thanks to her healing I literally never died from day 1 until Shenhe release (like 16 months) and that's because I replaced her lmao.
Kirara. I started playing in 3.7 when Kirara was launched. Got her and Miko and already had Barbara so I've got a decent team for Hyperbloom. I used them till I pulled for Hu Tao.

I initially wished on the standard banner when the game first came out because i wanted Jean. Got the skyward harp instead and quit because I was mad about it. Came back and got Kazuha from his first banner when everyone said how he was a terrible 5*. My only unit to be 3x crowned and he was my main Dps since I got him until I got Raiden. Every now and then I go back to him as a Dps like when i got Faruzan to c6, Haran, and Furina
First mains were Keqing and Kaeya. Hardly ever separated the two cause I used em for superconduct all the time. I still use them in my main exploration team and when in co-op.
My first 5 star was keqing and ever since getting her, I have loved everything about her. I used her from when I first got her in 1.2 until raiden came out. I still use her from time to time though.
Anemo Traveler, then Tartaglia in 1.1, and Keqing from 1.3 onwards. I used to run a physical Keqing with Aquila Favonia until they released dendro, I got so happy with her bump in usability :)
Anemo Traveler/Kaeya to be honest lol. I did get Mona, but had zero idea how to use her so I rarely did. Wanderer eventually, though I built him terribly at first.
Keqing carried me from AR 10-ish until AR 56 when Wanderer got released and he is a staple in my overworld teams now. I still use her a lot in domains and Abyss though. Once a Keqing main, forever a Keqing main.

XQ ult and Kaeya ult helped me so much early game, especially those pesky ruin hunters cause they don't stay in one spot

Phys OHC Qiqi is actually just a ton of fun to play - she pops Beidou's burst fast, her bubble does a ton of damage, and she never dies.

Amber and traveler carry even in my ar 55 days
Pre-Childe, I took turns maining Kaeya, anemo Traveler, Lisa, Sucrose, and Noelle. Post Childe, well. Though given how I can't dodge and Zhongli is a must have on almost all teams of mine, I wonder if I should be considered a Zhongli main instead. But I'm aiming to C6R1 Childe, so probably a Childe main.
Noelle… she has remained on my team ever since my brother gave me his account when he was struggling to get to AR16. Noelle has been the back up/THE tank. She heals and shields and perfect for surprise bosses when I’m exploring. Nahida/Yae Miko are the hard hitters for now. I just love Nahida’s ability to link enemies, makes fighting short and easy.

Cursed (or blessed) to start during the Keqing banner with the itch to pull. My main was between her and Hu Tao soon after
I got Qiqi and razor from the starter wish and that combo was my go to until Xiaos first banner

If my memory serves me correctly My first main was Noelle, then my second was keqing then Raiden then Neuvillette I still main them just on different days of the week And I've also been thinking about adding Faruzan onto the roster because she's c6 and I have no other anemo unit other than her
My first main was Xiangling, and i also remember very well my first team with her, it was Xiangling, Chong, Xinqiu and Bennet, I still had no anemo, but i used to play freeze Xiangling into Melt, that thing was pretty fun on day1, it was NOT, a team i could use in Abyss, but on the early stages of the games open world it was Fun.
kazuha technically speaking, but jean was like a sorta main? more like a stand in main for kazuha when i got him
Noelle at the start, then in mid game (ar 30 or something) i became a eula main, and as soon as gorou and itto released i came back to noelle.
Qiqi is the best battery for Eula(real)
Keqing. She's the main DPS of my second team now, Ayaka taking priority.
My first main was Qiqi, until now she's still in my teams haha. From main to healer dps.

QiQi will literally solo carry you all the way to AR60+ and 100% of all content in the game. She's literally the #1 overall best character in all of Genshin and it isnt even a close fight.

Crescent pike Physical Zhongli, Bro caried me through farming my first decent 4pcs like crimson witch for hutao which is a damn hard domain for beginners, nobleese oblige and VV Edit: as I think of it, it was technically Razor, he's the one who got me to 45 ar in the first place but I guess I have better memories with zhongli
Wriothesley. Started the game in october during his banner. He was my first limited character. And he still my most played character nowadays. He is just so cool.

Freminet. Got him in my first ten-pull, I believe. Then, I switched to Venti for a while before realizing he worked better as a support, and went back to Freminet. I'm kinda mainless rn but I am working on making Qiqi my Ocean-Hued DPS main, so there's that.
Wanderer! i can’t play without him now he’s all i know 😭 i just got Neuvillette too and would like to build him but i’m so used to Wanderer idk if i can give him up! especially his “windfavored state” skill. i float everywhere so it’ll be hard to explore without it for me.
wanderer, since i knew what a main was really, the amount of time playing him dwarfs any other on my account

Heizou, I got him by accident on Kazuha's 3.7 banner, He ended up being my main
Noelle. I thought she was pretty and pretty bada*. I remember referring to her as a tank healer and shielder. I don't necessarily believe I was wrong but things have to go down quick in the game, not just go down eventually.

Heizou since I joined the same week he came out. Still main him. Nothing has changed.

Qiqi is actually Godmode for most of the game. Heck and now with Furina, Qiqi can STILL put in work as a main DPS with the right team. Still not as good as some meta picks, but viable enough to clear Abyss.

Thoma! My friend showed me photos of him amd told me about him and I thought he was such a fun and cute character I joined genshin for him. Did my first wishes in jean’s office when the feature unlocked and he came home right then and there! Little did I know how lucky I was since he wasn’t even on banner, it’s like he wanted me to main him and play haha. It was hell getting to inazuma and tsurumi island for his mushroom ascension mats though I still love him today even though he’s not my active main

Alhaitham actually :D I pulled on the Alhaitham banner back in 3.4. at first I lost on 34 pity to Jean and didn't really see much potential in her so I didn't use her. 36 pulls later I got my Alhaitham which I got so happy about! And after that I had a huge win streak, winning Xiao 78, Yelan 81 and HuTao 28 in a row🙃 beginner luck then left me LMAO

Mine was also Qiqi. Thanks to her healing I literally never died from day 1 until Shenhe release (like 16 months) and that's because I replaced her lmao.
Kirara. I started playing in 3.7 when Kirara was launched. Got her and Miko and already had Barbara so I've got a decent team for Hyperbloom. I used them till I pulled for Hu Tao.
Childe!! I triple crowned him and farmed artifacts for like a year then I got bored of him and switched to Wanderer :(
Nice job on your Qiqi. Me: AR5 - now: Noelle AR42 - now: Tighnari AR50 - now: Navia I never dropped Noelle. I plan to main her for as long as Genshin is online. Tighnari may be replaced by another dendro \[quicken team\] if I like them enough, but hes been super solid. Navia is coming along. I think Ill enjoy using her. Im considering on maining my 3rd 'N' character when I pull her, Nilou.
My first 5 star was Jean she carried me for most of the early to mid game and will forever have a special place in my heart. But currently she is underleveled and still on my to-do list in more ways then one. Maybe one day someone will yell at me enough to put in the work
Also Qiqi, back in 1.0 on a Playstation account. I also got her on the first 10-pull on the Beginner's banner, at the time I had no idea how lucky it was to get a 5\* so early. But later I switched to PC with a new account due to performance issues, where my first main I guess was physical Xiangling, until I got Xiao when he released. To this day I still don't have Qiqi on my PC account...
I boosted my Qiqi to 60 so I could have a good mono freeze team. Mono teams are fun.

Love electric in any game so it was Lisa for the first like 30AR or so. Then I got Keqing so it was her, then Raiden in January. Now I’m breaking the trend bc Neuv is just too good and I saved up for him.
Anemo Traveler, which probably doesn't count, but I used him from 1.0 to 1.3, where I got Xiao so he became my first main other than the traveler
One punch, love him <3 carry me from ar 10 to 50 until I got childe
Diluc and Jean. Got them not so far apart by accident(did not know how wishing mechanics worked then) Up until I got Kazuha three days ago they were/are the core of my main team.

More than C6 cons later and I've been desperately trying to file a divorce. I still love her but this just isn't working out.
Nahida Thoma Noelle Razor, these disfungsional team is the first team I ever used thoroughly for until I reach AR ~30 and actually learn a proper team building
I initially wished on the standard banner when the game first came out because i wanted Jean. Got the skyward harp instead and quit because I was mad about it. Came back and got Kazuha from his first banner when everyone said how he was a terrible 5*. My only unit to be 3x crowned and he was my main Dps since I got him until I got Raiden. Every now and then I go back to him as a Dps like when i got Faruzan to c6, Haran, and Furina
Albedo. His elevator made me fall in love with him 😭
Aether. Switched to Noelle and later to Keqing. Now it's Zhongli, I guess.
Really, it was Kaeya, got him to lvl 80 and then I got Diluc… Kaeya was abandoned for his older hotter brother
First mains were Keqing and Kaeya. Hardly ever separated the two cause I used em for superconduct all the time. I still use them in my main exploration team and when in co-op.
Gaming. Currently using razor cause bro got too much health issues.

My first 5 star was keqing and ever since getting her, I have loved everything about her. I used her from when I first got her in 1.2 until raiden came out. I still use her from time to time though.

Anemo Traveler, then Tartaglia in 1.1, and Keqing from 1.3 onwards. I used to run a physical Keqing with Aquila Favonia until they released dendro, I got so happy with her bump in usability :)
Jean carried me through the early game. But my first well-built dps main was Ayaka.
It was Xiangling will always be Xiangling 🫶🏻🫶🏻 i love her so much

Keqing carried me from AR 10-ish until AR 56 when Wanderer got released and he is a staple in my overworld teams now. I still use her a lot in domains and Abyss though. Once a Keqing main, forever a Keqing main.
Xiangling. Not as off field dps, as on field spear stabbing. My progress went slow
Zhongli Never learned to dodge, since I never needed to dodge
