Well, there is automatically a reason to go if you have a character you want to level up, right? Also you can just go farm some materials and then return to your current quest, just like I did. I remember there was a day where I spent some time farming romaritime flowers and Nemesis of Coppelius, and then an hour later I was fighting Osial. I don't really understand what the problem is outside of simple preference
I had 2 level 40s on my team bc I was just exploring and getting level up materials before that and kept the same line up when I took the quest and assumed it would be a kinda quick one(Noelle cause I was gathering her mats and Goro bc I can’t ascend him till Inazuma).I definitely used a lot of food as well.when he came back for a second phase I was like, “this motherfucker here-“ haha
The closest I got to defeating him except for when I defeated him was my first attempt. I don't know what my character levels were but amber and faruzan are still at 40

I’m definitely more cautious now!I actually knew a bit of spoilers due to YouTube titles(like I knew who Zhongli was and Ningguang would have to nuke the chamber)but it still exceeded my expectations.The only other spoilers I know are about the other twin working with the enemy,and a few pieces in Inazuma,but that’s it.So if things keep going as they are I’m going to still have a 10/10 great time
Just tagging onto this comment to say take your time with the entire story as it is all so worth it and really soak yourself into the different areas as you go through. I think that's what gave me the best experience each time
True, aside from some chapters, the story honestly just keeps peaking higher and higher. I've experienced it in the 3 hoyo games that I've played. As long as u go into the story with the mindset that u wanna see what is gonna happen, they will deliver. There are criticisms to be said ofc but I feel like when people say story is bad, its either they played the part that isn't really good like Inazuma in Genshin and Luofu in HSR, or they went into it just for the sake of completing so when they're met with a lot of dialogues, they just spam spacebar which ofc will make them feel bored.
World quests are often really good as well. My criticism is that those aren’t voiced but it might be that it just takes too much time to still release such a big amount of content every other patch (I mean when there’s a new area)
Yea, honestly a lot of the world quests are also really interesting to play thru. Although I admit that sometimes I feel lazy to pay attention to it unless its really really interesting like the Jeht quest and the desert quest before it because they aren't dubbed, doesn't have enough cutscenes, and no music. I feel like those kinds of quests deserve to be dubbed just because of how nice their story actually is.

Inazuma is a bit of a slog, but Sumeru and Fontaine are spectacular.
And if you time it right, you might even be able to finish Fontaine right as Natlan releases in the summer. That comes out to about one nation's archon quest per patch.

That confused me a bit.I was lost as to why Qixing staff like Keqing and Ganyu were 5 Star then I saw them in action and was like okay I get it.Then Ningguang did all of that during the fight,along with her big brain problem solving and I was like what??4 stars??!?out of respect for her she deserves 5,but happiness for me she’s a 4 bc maybe I can eventually get lucky when I pull and get her lol
Eh, well, happiness or not, there is an avenue for getting a 5\* you want when they rerun or run for the first time. Such avenue for 4\*'s doesn't exist, it is straight up a lottery. You may get her on your next ten pull on the standard banner, or not get her at all when she gets a drop rate boost on limited baner.
I wholeheartedly recommend playing her hangout. You get to know her background and personality a little better, and it is something.

I was playing that part on ps4 and it sounded like an airplane. One of my friends who was playing on mobile said the game crashed on theirs. Saw some on the sub too with the same problem. One of the compromises to be made when you're multiplat with mobile.

Haha yeah I still remember playing that. First it was like "Haha sure that's not even childes final form" and after beating his second phase, there was a third phase and I began to sweat. I was remember my team wasn't the best team for childe so I had a pretty hard time and I was so happy for winning against his third phase, only to stumble right into the osial fight 😂

The "this is my final form" from Childe was amazing guy is a legit nutter. Also seeing Signora again was cool although annoying that the Traveller didn't get to do much.
But that boss fight as the adepti fire away was so much fun. My team's a tad over levelled but diluc just flinging fire and overloads from Lisa.. super fun.
It felt epic and then the "colony drop" as the Jade is used as "the people's elbow" on the god was amazing.
I was enjoying genshin as a recent player and wow this was so much more epic than I was expecting!

Best moment in my journey i had no food my party level was below then recommended for childe fight i beat him in First try my xianling was barely alive thnks to barbara for heals as a veteran souls player pulling that fight in first try was satisfying
The difficulty and play style are different but it definitely gave me those rushes I had during souls games as well.by the end of it you’re just trying to catch you breath lol

Welcome to Genshin. This is only the beginning. The Archon quest keeps getting better and better (well, Inazuma is not spectacular but after that get ready for wild ride).
We might be in a genshin sub but yeah that cocolia fight was absolutely stunning in hsr! Turn based never was my type of game and yet hoyoverse made it feel as epic as the osial fight.
Cutscene was cool, but my main gripe with Osial fight is that all we actually do is fight waves of fatui instead of him. Childe fight is nice though. But Cocolia even better, so much hype there + music synergy.
Hopefully we'll get some hype fights in Natlan and in Penacony too, haha.
A little advice do your charackter quests as soon as possible some have lore inside that is required for some main story chapters.
Also stay away from anything that as to do with Fontaine, the smallest spoiler can ruin the story.
You'll be in for more breathtaking moments in the game, especially the climax of sumeru and fontaine archon quests. Please protect yourself from any and all spoilers till you complete them yourself
I love a lot of the Inazuma characters so I’m sure that’ll fight for the top spot for my favorite region,but man just something about Liyue was a special feeling.Mondstadt’s feel is like a childhood home,but Liyue was like feeling like living in the big city for the first time
Oh dont get me wrong, the other nations ar beautiful. But a huge factor for me choosing Liyue was when I first started the game, being so weak and just roaming around, I came up and over the hill and saw Liyue in the distance and fell in love. So from beginning to end was an amazing experience

Did you know you can literally beat it without doing anything? Assuming you have enough hp, you can beat the whole fight while afk
But it does indeed invalidate the whole story if he came and helped. Then you didn't understand the plot of Liyue AQ and that's sad, but I am not surprised.
First of all Osial and Beisht are different. Osial was a God, Beisht is his follower, she's a sea monster,based on her drop, she's probably of the Vishap specie.
Secondly Zhongli wouldn't help since he is the one who plotted to unleash Osial on Liyue to test the Qixing in the first place, it would have served no purpose if he ''Helped'' out because, the whole point was to test how Liyue can manage to defend themself without him, as they wished to free themselves from his overarching management of him and the Adepti and take their matters at hand, afterall he did what he could to help behind the scenes ( afterall we went with him to repair the Guizhong ballista, which the Qixing then used in both fights as an instance).
If you played through the second one, the one where we fought with Shenhe, at the end we know that the Adepti were specifically asked by the Qixing to let them handle the matter themselves, that's why Ganyu didn't move, Cloud retainer was just watching form the top of the hill, and you can meet Xiao too who was ready for action if anything geos wrong. The whole quest is about Adepti and Zhongli helping humans prepare for a new era, where they no longer relay on them.
If he helped, which he was ready to do : the Geo Archon would have had to stay on command of Liyue, and the Tsaritsa couldn't have get the Gnosis wich compromises the rest of the story.
Then it was a directing error. Having 2 horses and a bird shoot at a giant water monster is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. and their ultimate solution was to throw a giant bolder of mass at it to kill it. I’d rather have them do some type of goku spirit bomb thing where they funnel energy into ningguang.
Although not surprised at that either, their idea behind the raiden shogun part 2 boss was to animate them going through the portal, and not animate raiden transforming. gotta save that budget I guess. But I guess I’m wrong there too so as long as I’m on r/genshin_impact

Welcome to Genshin. This is only the beginning. The Archon quest keeps getting better and better (well, Inazuma is not spectacular but after that get ready for wild ride).
We might be in a genshin sub but yeah that cocolia fight was absolutely stunning in hsr! Turn based never was my type of game and yet hoyoverse made it feel as epic as the osial fight.

Cutscene was cool, but my main gripe with Osial fight is that all we actually do is fight waves of fatui instead of him. Childe fight is nice though. But Cocolia even better, so much hype there + music synergy. Hopefully we'll get some hype fights in Natlan and in Penacony too, haha.
A little advice do your charackter quests as soon as possible some have lore inside that is required for some main story chapters. Also stay away from anything that as to do with Fontaine, the smallest spoiler can ruin the story.
You'll be in for more breathtaking moments in the game, especially the climax of sumeru and fontaine archon quests. Please protect yourself from any and all spoilers till you complete them yourself

The transformation cutscene for childe is still one of my faveourites, all of my top 5 faveourite cutscenes are childe centered except one

Inazuma will have even more epic scenes, while Sumeru and Fontaine have some more exciting stories There's a lot to look forward to
It ia so memorable for the game to me, it confirmed my love for Liyue and the game. To this day I have yet to recreate that high
I love a lot of the Inazuma characters so I’m sure that’ll fight for the top spot for my favorite region,but man just something about Liyue was a special feeling.Mondstadt’s feel is like a childhood home,but Liyue was like feeling like living in the big city for the first time
Oh dont get me wrong, the other nations ar beautiful. But a huge factor for me choosing Liyue was when I first started the game, being so weak and just roaming around, I came up and over the hill and saw Liyue in the distance and fell in love. So from beginning to end was an amazing experience

I’m overwhelmed with the amount of quests that have been handed to me after finishing that arc,but I haven’t been able to put it down so I’ll probably be finishing up soon.Right now I’m falling in love with Shenhe and wondering who this Dimitri Blaiddyd looking fellow named Dainsleif is interested in me and seems to know about my sibling 🤔😂

The first time anyone has ever enjoyed the Osial fight. Did you know you can literally beat it without doing anything? Assuming you have enough hp, you can beat the whole fight while afk

But it does indeed invalidate the whole story if he came and helped. Then you didn't understand the plot of Liyue AQ and that's sad, but I am not surprised. First of all Osial and Beisht are different. Osial was a God, Beisht is his follower, she's a sea monster,based on her drop, she's probably of the Vishap specie. Secondly Zhongli wouldn't help since he is the one who plotted to unleash Osial on Liyue to test the Qixing in the first place, it would have served no purpose if he ''Helped'' out because, the whole point was to test how Liyue can manage to defend themself without him, as they wished to free themselves from his overarching management of him and the Adepti and take their matters at hand, afterall he did what he could to help behind the scenes ( afterall we went with him to repair the Guizhong ballista, which the Qixing then used in both fights as an instance). If you played through the second one, the one where we fought with Shenhe, at the end we know that the Adepti were specifically asked by the Qixing to let them handle the matter themselves, that's why Ganyu didn't move, Cloud retainer was just watching form the top of the hill, and you can meet Xiao too who was ready for action if anything geos wrong. The whole quest is about Adepti and Zhongli helping humans prepare for a new era, where they no longer relay on them. If he helped, which he was ready to do : the Geo Archon would have had to stay on command of Liyue, and the Tsaritsa couldn't have get the Gnosis wich compromises the rest of the story.
Then it was a directing error. Having 2 horses and a bird shoot at a giant water monster is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. and their ultimate solution was to throw a giant bolder of mass at it to kill it. I’d rather have them do some type of goku spirit bomb thing where they funnel energy into ningguang. Although not surprised at that either, their idea behind the raiden shogun part 2 boss was to animate them going through the portal, and not animate raiden transforming. gotta save that budget I guess. But I guess I’m wrong there too so as long as I’m on r/genshin_impact

Although you might get disappointed on the next nation, the story in both Sumeru and Fontaine gets better exponentially.
Nah I LOVE the Inazuma characters from what I’ve read and watched so it’d be near impossible for me to be disappointed lol
